What is considered the most powerful battleship in history in terms of firepower, size, and protection?

That would be the famous Japanese battleship Yamato. She was the largest battleship ever built at 863 feet (263 meters) long, 128 feet (39 meters) wide, and displacing 72,808 tons. This massive size was done to support her capabilities, as Yamato was also the most powerfully armed and armored battleship ever built, nicknamed a super battleship for a reason.

Nine 18.1-inch (46 cm) guns served as Yamato’s main battery, housed in three 3-gun turrets, two forward and one aft. These were the largest and most powerful guns ever built in history, each capable of firing a 3,220 pound shell up to 26.1 miles to penetrate up to 20-inches (51 cm) of reinforced armor. Armor was equally good, a 16.1-inch (41 cm) main belt sloped at a 19 degree angle and a 7.9–9.1–13.4-inch (20–23–34 cm) deck protected their citadel, which was the thickest armor ever produced for such armor. Yamato’s 25.6-inch (65 cm) turret armor was proven to be immune to all naval guns at all realistic battle ranges, and it’s safe to assume to 22-inch (56 cm) barbette armor carried a similar effect. This undoubtedly gave Yamato the best armor of any battleship ever built. Even the most powerful 1,000 pound AP bombs deflected off their deck, while Yamato was capable of just eating up torpedoes. During her final battle, even by at least 7, but probably 9 torpedoes, she was still making 18 knots, and only listing at 10 degrees (albeit all void spaces had been flooded, making further counter flooding impossible without drastic measures).

Yamato was designed to make 27 knots, but proved capable of 28.2 knots on sea trials, and fire control was pretty good. Four sets of massive 49 foot (15 meter) optical systems decked the ship, three in each main battery gun turret and one on top the pagoda mast. Advanced electromagnetic calculators served as the main fire control system, and this was supported by a basic set of fire control radar.

Motoyasu would want to experiment with everything just to see if he likes it.

Now imagine him trying to ask Naofumi, his older brother/father figure if he would help him get beginner toys or tips for being a bottom because he was curious (not because he heard therufumi being loud at night and imagine himself like that with his crush getting turned on) and feels like he could get "professional" help

Naofumi was born almost deaf and was given hearing aids that help him once he turned a year old. Yes he did have to take speech therapy to help him talk like a normal person but he can sign and lip read.

After getting teleported to Melromarc, his hearing aids broke because the high mana disrupted the electrical wiring in them so he couldn't hear. He had a feeling everyone but the three others that were summoned was hostile due to their body language so he wouldn't disclose his disability to them in case it was used against him so he pretended to be normal just a little "slow".

After getting melty to join his party he would get stuff that would be useful while trying to find a place that would enchant his hearing aids to work in this world. He does find a place but they only open at night so he decided to go to an inn to rest up a bit before night. Once night rolls around, he tells the bar tender that he should be back before sunrise then leaves to the place spending the night there because its dark. (It doesn't work as intended but he can now hear animals)

He has to turn down them because he doesn't need to hear the cats gossiping and find knights looking around for him holding his stuff so he goes and tells the old man, the bartender and the person he was just with about what happened then goes to get "captured"

Trial is the best part where Naofumi kept asking them to repeat his accusations acting like he doesn't understand then calls metly out for her lies because they had separate rooms one and two he wasn't even in the inn at the time of the "rape". Ren helps Naofumi's case seeing as he saw the male in the distance but he seemed pretty far from the inn.

Naofumi thanks Ren (first child acquired) after the trial then leaves to go get his other children and teach them sign so he can talk with them and plan out strategies. Raphtaila is obviously better because she has more experience but Filo is getting better.

Meeting Therese and L'Arc was a trip for him. Seeing a very beautiful women and a handsome man made his heart stop in awe. There looks bad him in a trance but he was caught by Filo as she teases him about his newfound crush making Raphtaila caught on and join in.

The trio gets close after L'Arc introduces himself trying to flirt with him but it fails because Naofumi was very red and stutters trying to talk to him. He longs to hear their voices making his heart ache. He was still trying to find someone who could fix his hearing aids so he can hear again.

After the trial with bitch and trash, Naofumi reveals to Raphtaila, Filo and Ren his secret making Ren want to help. Once they find a person to help Naofumi, he puts on the buds again making him almost cry hearing their voices.

Hearing L'Arc and Therese's voice did make Naofumi cry. L'arc's voice sounded like chocolate but it was sexy as well and Therese's voice sounded like an angel.

Naofumi woke up in a cage confused as his head spins from dizziness. He tries to remember what he was going before blacking out when he saw creatures of different sizes look at him frighten. He observed them to guess that they were talking but he couldn't understand what the language was, it sounded like english but in reverse mixed with pig latin.

A growl sound could be heard as he looked embarrassed since he was starving as fruits were sitting out. Grabbing the fruits, he took a bite as the taste of pineapples and watermelons as he made a happy noise trying not to devour the fruit.

After finishing the fruit, he looked up and saw two tall humanoids. The first looked to be female but he wasn't sure as large antler like horns were on her head, long blue hair on top of white scale like skin that had a layer of what seems to be retractable fur with a broken long tail but he couldn't figure out what its true from was. She seems to be made from gems with scared bumps bruises and cuts along her body and her hands were scared with claws for fingers. Her sharp sea green eyes held fear, curiosity and caution as her plump soft purple lips were spread thin.

Look away from her, he notices a peacock like male with dragon wings and a parrot tail. He seems to be very multicolored with red head that was connected to a human like face, golden eyes with slit pupils, kissable red lips and elf like ears. His body seemed to have fur like a wolf.

Hearing footsteps, a group of tall coaches with with alligator tails and croc snots holding trays of fruit and sloppy joe like poop with water bottles into the cell as the female grabs some fruits while the male ate some of the of the slop

id love to read your essay if you feel like sharing it... yosuke worms are consuming my brain and i need stuff like that to survive (no pressure tho if you dont feel comfortable sharing it!!)

I'd be very comfortable sharing it, I love attention, but there's nothing in it you don't already know. I originally wrote it privately for a friend who just started P4G and asked me to tell her about Yosuke's removed romance because she's a supportive angel. But here it is anyway, 863 words of "why Yosuke should be Yu's boyfriend", in its original form aka my very unprofessional side notes included.

First we gotta look at the dateable social links, sorry for minor spoilers maybe. Of course, if you're going to date one these girls, you need to lay on the groundwork so the confession or getting-together scene feels natural if you decide to go that route. So all the girls have some romance coded scenes and dialogue. Then you look at Yosuke's and he has some of the same things... Yosuke's rank 9 (like ranking from 8 to 9) is arguably one of the most romantic scenes in the game, and referenced in like 70% of canon compliant fanfics lmao

I'm mostly comparing Yosuke's social link to my girlfriends Yumi and Rise, because they're the ones I finished. With both of them, you got into a relationship by hugging them, and it's sometimes said that hugging is Persona 4 code for "we're dating now". It's something intimate, even more so in Japan. Strangely enough, the game also let's you hug Yosuke in his rank 8. (if you did everything right in RANK 7, which I think is UNFAIR. I ONLY LOOKED AT THE WALKTHROUGH FOR THE CURRENT RANK AND IT DID NOT WARN ME SO I TOOK THAT ONE CHANCE TO GO APE WHEN APPARENTLY I SHOULDN'T HAVE AND I GODDAMN LOST THAT CHANCE) So it's my theory that Yosuke's romance flag used to be there until it was removed.

Also, Yumi was able to come out and say "I love you" in clear words, but not everyone is that direct. Rise for example shyed away from The Three Words despite already being in a relationship with the protagonist; she's an idol and an actress and her line went something like "come on, I've confessed my love hundreds of times on TV, why can't I do it in person? ...You're special to me." The Japanese generally say I love you a lot less than many English-speaking people, and it's a very context heavy language and culture in general, so we're expected to understand that "you're special to me" is a love confession, just like hugging was a symbol of starting a relationship. 

Now, Yosuke also tells the protagonist "you're special to me" in the aforementioned rank 9. This happens after the rank where you had the option to hug him, so if his romance had been kept in, you likely would have been in a relationship with him at this point. It's a direct parallel to another, explicitly romantic scene, with the character many players see as something of a default dating option for Yu.

The romance was likely cut out very late in development, as some datamined deleted lines for Yosuke were recorded in English. It's on YouTube where anyone can check it out. It would fit neatly in Yosuke's rank 8, 9 or 10. The most important part of it in reference to this wall of text is that he goes and says "I like you" in it. "I never knew I had such... Heat inside. B-but don't make me say stuff like that! ...Don't go. I like you." Combine that with Yuri Lowenthal's delivery, and I'm convinced it's exactly what it sounds like.

But it looks like the only thing they removed​ in the end was these lines and the "you are now dating Yosuke" notice. The rest of his social link was left as is... Very romances-coded. And that's not even all of it! They didn't leave it at his social link! Yosuke has lines subtly hinting at being interested in or having feelings for the protagonist all throughout the game. Some even speculate it was supposed to be the "canon" romance.

Atlus has never given any answer to why it was removed. Maybe some people on the team made it but the main director, known to be somewhat homophobic, didn't allow it. Maybe it was a case of higher-up intervention. Maybe they didn't think it fit Yosuke's character or his story arc. Whatever it was, it must have been something heavy and irreparable, as they didn't take the easy opportunity to add it into Golden four years later. It would have required considerably less work than adding in two new social links, several group events and new dungeon/s (i don't know how many there are).

Anyway, I think Yosuke romance would have been beneficial. Not just for the obvious "representation is important" sense, but for Yosuke's character as well. It can be argued that if he was still grieving Saki in his later ranks he may not be ready for a relationship yet, but it is shown that Yu was of great help and importance for him, and would have undoubtedly had no negative influence on Yosuke as a boyfriend any more than as a best friend. But in acknowledging his feelings for Yu, Yosuke would have been forced to address and maybe overcome his homophobia. Choosing to date Yosuke and showing him he's desirable may have helped him with his self-worth issues. Obviously the route would be off-putting to many, but so are many of the existing romances. Nobody is obligated to play it.

In conclusion, we were robbed. And I bet I forgot something important.

Damian Wayne. He was one of the strangest people in the school. He was ridiculously smart. He was incredibly handsome. He was inhumanely athletic. And he was the son of Bruce Wayne himself. That’s right, Bruce Wayne, playboy, crazy rich, hot as heck, has a son. You would think that would make Damian one of the popular kids, wouldn’t you? The type who would sit at a crowded lunch table, charming girls left right and centre. But, no, Damian was none of these things. Why you may ask? Because he was a ‘brown kid’.

Come on guys, it’s the 21st Century! Racism left the building years ago. Yeah… no. Damian didn’t ask to be the loner. Damian didn’t ask to be the son of Bruce Wayne. And Damian definitely didn’t ask to be raised as an assassin for most of his childhood. He didn’t ask to be different. He just was. And people had a problem with different.

He was constantly picked on during school hours. But Damian didn’t know how to handle these verbal attacks.

“I wasn’t trained for this,” he had told Alfred one afternoon, wiping away an unneeded tear. “What do I do?”

The butler didn’t really know how to respond to that. “Just make some friends,” he had told the boy.

“Make sure you do all your work in class,” Dick said as he helped Damian pack his bag. “It really helps.”

“Don’t be lame,” Jason encouraged him as he continued to train. “Nobody wants to be the Lamo.”

“Ask about the next topics,” Tim suggested, typing away at his computer. “And always be prepared.”

“Don’t use violence,” his father told him on the first day of school. “You’re a Wayne. You can use your head.”

 For some reason, Damian felt as if he messed up every single suggestion. He didn’t have any friends. He didn’t finish all the work in class. He was definitely a ‘Lamo’ and he was never prepared. And he used violence. Once.

The only time he ever used violence was when a bully took it too far and said, “Why would Bruce Wayne want to adopt you? You’re nothing but the silly brown kid.”

Damian snapped. He punched him right in the jaw. The fight didn’t even last ten seconds, because soon after the punch was thrown, he was called to the principal’s office. Poor Damian had to sit still in his chair, unable to vouch for himself as the principal explained the situation wrongly to his father. Naturally, Bruce didn’t believe any of what the headmaster told him, but Damian was still reprimanded for it. The Arabian boy didn’t even explain himself.

You didn’t like your school. Gotham Academy may be prestigious. Gotham Academy may be the highest ranking school. Gotham Academy may be the dream school of anybody. But Gotham Academy was one thing and one thing only. Gotham Academy was hell.

Ever since you were a child, you hated liars. But if there was one thing you hated more than a liar, it was a lying bully. You weren’t really picked on at school. You were more of the girl who shrank into the shadows and can hide there all day without being caught. That was one of the best powers you could ever think of.

But this particular day, you were peeved. Very, insanely, inhumanely peeved.

“You think you’re so good, don’t you?” One boy spat, pushing another boy to the ground.

“’I’m the son of Bruce Wayne!’ Ha, what kind of idiot would adopt you?” Another boy snarled.

“You’re just the brown kid!”

You lost it.

“Leave him alone!” You yelled, dropping your bags to the floor and stepping in between the bullies and the victim.

“Psh, stand aside.”

“You know, it’s really funny listening to someone use their entire vocabulary in one sentence, Mallor,” You hissed.

The boy glared at you, “who do you think you are?”

“I’m a person. What are you, an ape?” You scoffed, rolling your eyes. “Just leave him alone and we won’t have any problems.”

Mallor snorted. “Why should we-” he gestured to his group of friends, “-listen to you?”

“Just because you don’t always see me, doesn’t mean I don’t see you.” A smirk made its way onto your face. “Hey, Joss! How’s that teddy bear that you stuffed in your locker? What was its name again? Oh, Mr Stuffling?”

The boy turned bright red while the hall burst out laughing.

“What about you, Harvey? I didn’t know you had 4 different girlfriends.”

4 girls in the crowd immediately burst into tears while Harvey tried to find a way to cover up his lies.

“You know, Mallor. I have a pretty good picture of you-” You didn’t get to finish your sentence when he ran right out of the hall, blocking his ears. Everyone else looked at him before following his example.

You smiled in triumph before turning to Damian. “You okay?”

He rolled his eyes, “I didn’t need your help.”

“A simple thank you would suffice,” you pointed out. “Hey, do you wanna go get some ice-cream after school? Cold Stone has a new ice-cream flavour to celebrate Batman and Robin!”

“…fine.”

STF determina prisão do deputado federal Celso Jacob (PMDB-RJ)

Primeira Turma do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) não conheceu de recurso e determinou a expedição de mandado de prisão contra o deputado federal Celso Jacob (PMDB-RJ). O deputado teve apelação negada pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) no julgamento da Ação Penal (AP) 971. No processo, ele foi considerado culpado dos crimes de falsificação de documento público e dispensa indevida de licitação para construção de creche quando prefeito de Três Rios (RJ), em 2002.

O recurso rejeitado na sessão de hoje (23) foi julgado como segundos embargos de declaração, na Petição (PET) 6341, número de reautuação da AP 971. O relator, ministro Edson Fachin, entendeu que se tratava de recurso protelatório.

“Diante da inocorrência de contradição, omissão ou obscuridade, resta inviável a revisão do julgado em sede de segundos embargos de declaração”, afirmou. Ele declarou também o trânsito em julgado da ação, independentemente da publicação do acórdão. O voto foi acompanhado por unanimidade.

O caso do deputado foi julgado pela Primeira Turma do STF em junho de 2016, quando o colegiado negou apelação contra decisão proferida pela primeira instância da Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, em 2009. A sentença da Justiça local se deu depois de encerrado o mandato de Celso Jacob como prefeito e antes de iniciado seu mandato como deputado federal.
