Like to think about Jason being the most over protective Robin between all the Robins, like they all are protective of the batman but he's the most vocal about it and will not be shy saying it cuz it's the truth also that's his dad bro hello? Yes he'd say it out loud!?

Like to think that habit didn't die actually, just repressed really really well but the second a threat was aim to Batman's head suddenly you got punch good square in the face by red hood, it's scary cuz for a big guy (bigger than batman) they didn't hear him coming nor does they expect the goddamn crime lord to protect batman, but he did, he's very pissed about it too, then he yelled at Bruce for his lack of awareness to the surrounding

What do you think about a reader who likes to eat late at night? They will sometimes escape their bed and their partner's arms to cook themselves a secret late-night meal. Any pokemon character you like

I've decided to go with Diantha for this because idk I want to write something for Diantha I miss my movie star wife.

It all starts when you and Diantha take the next big step in your relationship by moving in with each other. Due to how busy she is, it's very unlikely that she'd ever stay over at your place for the night or vice versa, so she wasn't very privy to your late night snacking.

She wakes up in the middle of the night, still half-asleep, when she realizes that you are no longer in her arms. Naturally, her sleep addled mind assumes you just shifted away during the night, only to find the bed cold and empty when patting around. She doesn't have to sit there for long to figure out where you had gone, as the loud, metalic clatter of pots being shifted around in the cabinet echoes from your shared kitchen.

Enter that one scene from the Rugrats where one of the dad's is making mac and cheese or something in the dead of night and his wife comes in like why are you making mac and cheese in the dead of night? and he's like I've lost control of my life. You know the one, right? Right.

Now, knowing that your beloved girlfriend was peacefully asleep a few rooms over, you tried to get a pot out of the cabinent as quietly as possible in order to conjure up your late night snack, but such is a useless endevor. If the crash of pots and pans didn't make you cringe, turning around to see Diantha standing in the doorway did.

It's a little awkward. She's still shaking off the remnants of sleep, leaving her a bit lost for words. She just shakes her head, already accepting that this is likely another one of your weird quirks that she'll get used to. And since she's already up, she plops herself on a barstool (bc she's got money and a fancy little kitchen bar) and joins you for your mandatory late night snack.

Ok. Scenario over, you get the deal. At first, she's honestly a bit worried. Were you not eating enough? Was there something wrong with her cooking or the takeout you've been getting? Did you have some dietary restriction she just didn't know about? You reassure her that, no, everything's fine. That you are simply a conissuer on all things midnight snack.

With her worries settled, she doesn't mind your habits. Mostly. Waking up to a cold bed in the middle of the night is never pleasent, even when she gets used to it and knows that you're just in the kitchen. She wants to hold you all snug and tight in her arms after a hard day of work, damn it.

If she's not too tired, she'll slip into her slippers and wade into the kitchen, finding you russeling through drawers and cabinets. Whether you're just slapping together a sandwich or working towards the tastiest ramen, she'll join in and keep you company. Won't talk much, too tired to likely, just enjoying your company.

If the exhastion hits too hard, she'll simply wait for you to come back, dozing in and out of conciousness untill the mattress dips beside her. Honestly, she might be a bit pouty, somewhat upset that you left her so cold and alone, but immedately caves once you shimmy closer, enveloping you in the warmest and sweetest of snuggles. Diantha isn't the pouty kind imo, but she absolutely can be when she's tired and has been denied cuddling privledges.

In terms of physicality, Diantha isn't the strongest out there. She doesn't have a death grip that requires olympic level flexablitiy and stealth to escape or anything like that. But she is a light sleeper, and can easily be awoken by your attempts to leave. If she wakes up while you try to escape to the kitchen, she will try to pull you closer, not wanting her warm darling to leave her arms just yet. She does let go eventually, she knows youre just hungry.

When I made my headcanons about the champions cooking abilities, I spoke my truth about Diantha being a great chef, but being too busy to cook often, and I stand by that. She does like to cook for you when possible, it makes her heart flood with warmth when she sees your face light up upon tasting the meal she made just for you. And when she does make time to cook, she makes enough to have leftovers, storing them where she knows you'll find them when you inevetably wake in the night for a fresh meal.

In general, Diantha doesn't mind you eating late in the night, just being a little bothered when you aren't in bed because it gets cold without you. As long as you're still taking care of yourself, she'll be as supportive as possible of your weird eating habits.

My dark secret is that sometimes I wish part of the pjo fandom had whatever the fuck is in the water of the HP fandom. The side that loves dramione and is not scared to delve into toxic, downright radioactive stuff to tell a story and how sometimes love is the farthest thing from pure. And I wish they had a marauder-esque side — people who create entire universe about a character that was mentioned once — but about the Titan Army.

I do love and am very grateful for all the lovely art and great fanfics but i wish sometimes people were more willing to create and engage with the deepeer, more obscure possibilities canon offers

i see what you’re saying—tbh i don't fw hp at all due to the jkr of it all, plus i was obsessed for like 10 years and have been Over It for like 4 at least. i can’t help but feel a little annoyed by the maurader’s fandom because it’s like…sure, rep is hard to come by, but like…you could’ve done the whole “skittles squad gay wizards 🤪” with any one of the millions of other books on wizards, why that one?? but anyways

i also think that a fandom run that way can be a bit risky because you’re subjected to a fandom hierarchy. like if you think one thing about xyz character mentioned once, that can be contradicted by some sort of regarded Holy Text Fanfiction from the Most Popular Writer that is essentially the word of law (think…is it All The Young Dudes? i think is what it was called?). tldr is the discourse could be rancid, but it could under other circumstances as well, so it’s kinda a “pick your poison” situation

i definitely think one of the pjo fandom’s main problems is something i saw in sanders sides 🤢 for years—it’s kinda like purity culture, but it’s wholesomeness culture. aka the insistence that pjo is The Most accepting fandom, The Most diverse, The Best xyz—when it’s just not true. everyone has different ideas on how to make the fandom The Best and Most Pure, which can include harassing creators and attempting to only “allow” certain creations. (And, of course the most important: the racism is rampant. it’s a minority of the fandom from what i’ve seen, though i’ve also blocked a lot of people. it’s definitely still there)

i think what happened in the hp/marauders fandom was an attempted separation from the author (dont look at me dont talk to me 🚬). an entire rework of the content and characters (aka, i see what you’re saying about a potentially sympathetic villain, but draco’s canon “redemption” was too little too late, the guy is a one-dimensional asshole, He Would Not Fucking Say That)

oh yeah. i don’t think that could happen with pjo because part of its wholesomeness persona is the Uncle Rick of it all, in which the outer layers of the fandom praise him for his representation and Not being jkr. i’m willing to admit the guy has flaws, though supposedly not enough for an entire uproot separation.

but yeah that aside i definitely see what you’re saying—my hope is that fandom will change and get better. the puritans will either grow out of their restricting ideas or move on to another fandom, for the most part. perhaps it’s wishful thinking, though the only thing we can do is continue to make our works and make the fandom safer one step at a time 💌

Sometimes I think about that episdoe in JLU where Amanda Waller was like "the world need batman" to Terry and how she cloned him spesifically for that reason, to be the next "Bruce Wayne Batman" but in the end for majority of his life he was spared, he had a normal childhood all things consider with both parents alive (until they don't), a brother and relatively?? He's not as gloomy or as broody as Bruce is (healthier what I mean, yes he goes to juvie but like anger issues is the least offensive mental illness he can inherit from one Bruce Wayne imma be honest).

He is his own person with personality that clash with Bruce but endearingly compliment it, he wasn't burden by the cowl once he wear it as he see it as a tool to realize his desire to help other and not as a form of self inflicted punishment / redemption. And by all account he deserve that mantle and by all meant the better version of the batman Bruce could have hoped / wished for.

Sometimes I think about how it really is strangely like fate they both would meet. Sometimes I think about how Terry is one of the few last thing that is good happen in Bruce life ( that is so achingly lonely). Sometimes I think about Waller word, "the world need batman" and thinking how both awe and cruel it is that the bat symbol truely had become something so big than life than a man that carry it that not everyone can have it, that if they must recreate Bruce Wayne via cloning and repeating the main event that triggers his way to become batman then so be it.

Sometimes I think about how no matter what ways they have tried to make it that the Batman mantle to be wore by someone else, SOMEHOW it always falls back to the hand of a Wayne son.

not to get so corn dog gooey gross on main but i get real bitter and angsty about "representation in media" or whatever and sometimes i get pessimistic and think everything's all just a bunch a hogey but like. i don't feel so bad when im wearing my brace or using my cane because it's something i have in common with viktor. and i love viktor! and so many other people love viktor and i get ooey gooey feelings inside when artists draw him so lovingly with his mobility aids. and then i feel less angsty and bitter, just a little bit
