The whumpee didn’t want to be near anyone, and would often try to attack or at least insult whoever came close to them.

Part 3: Session 3 & 4

Fandom

"Galaxy duo" was used as a duo name for Scott and Pearl only after Double Life so yeah, @shortystack75 is right: their name is going to be Season Duo or something. Also, Empires is at the point in time where Scott gets his powers so people start connecting the two series.

And yeah, the Southlands are going south and just because of Mumbo...really makes you think.

As for @easily-distracted-by-fandom they sure love the Bdubs analaogies: From Bdubs being icarus AND the sun to Bdubs being the light that blinds Grian's eyes.

(Also, I found a good song for White Winter Scott, It's Freezerburn by T!LT:

"You always used to freeze the things I loved the most, I never understood it was a sympton of loss. I wonder if your father did the same to you and if the bread inside your fridge has a little more chew... as well. Also also, Scarian Third Life followed by Redscape Last Life...we just need a Grumbo Secret Life and we'll have them all.

Session 3

Lizzie is still the Boogeyman, Grian is made aware of there being one boogeyman.

After Scar got killed by Pearl last session he has the chance for revenge by linking Pearl and Jimmy for this session.

Martyn is given these 3 rules to choose from for this session: Everyone must wear a chicken head. Nobody is allowed to chests. Everyone must set their game language to pirate speak. I was undecided between first and third as I feel Martyn would choose one of them because they are kinda funny...so I rolled and pirates it is.

The sugar cane escapades happen in this timeline as well so Mumbo didn't lose much by choosing Scar over Grian... Jimmy is discovered by Joel like in canon and also has to run off without sugar cane.

Scar goes out selling crystals and his bonus gifted life, as in our timeline Grian brought a "soul" pretty willingly I think he actually buys the life. By session 3 Scar has given 2 of his bonus lives to Grian and one to Mumbo.

Lizzie tricks Pearl to get her boogey kill and suceeds getting cured... And dooming Jimmy to red lifeness 3 sessions in. Jimmy is forced out of the Southlands so uh... The Southlanders are really going south.

As Joel and Bdubs both bet on Jimmy being out first get 2 lives each from Tango.

Pearl and Scott find a zombie villager and hide it under their base for now.

Then Grian drops Yellow Snow in lava, becomes enemies of Magical Mountain and lets Joel burn their walls. This all happened in canon but yeah Southlands? More like Murphy's law...-lands.

Lives

Scar has 5 lives.

Mumbo, Tango, Joel and Bdubs have 4 lives.

BigB, Etho, Lizzie, Ren, Grian, Pearl, Cleo, Impulse, Skizz and Scott have 3 lives.

The boogeymen for the session are Ren and BigB, Grian knows there are two boogeymen.

Scar ...well, Bdubs did try to steal the enchanter and Grian killed his horse so... Bdubs and Grian are linked now.

Martyn gets 3 rules to chose from: Everyone must gift a life to another player. Nobody is allowed to kill mobs. Everyone must whisper everything... I uh I'm going to say he choses either 2 or 3 as 1 is a big risk.. so randomizer says 3.

Bdubs in canon gives Scar a life for the enchanting table though Scar hasn't lost it this time around so he just takes it...

Lizzie and Scott separately get villagers for their respective alliances.

Predicting Jimmy is... difficult when it comes to him as a red life. He tends to be very erratic at that point, especially alone... However if we look at Jimmy's actions after being exiled I can tell that the Southlands are his first target. I don't think anyone dies from it as the traps are only placed later in the session but Jimmy definitely raids the Southlands.

Meanwhile the boogeymen do their thing, Skizz dies to Ren's trap and BigB kills Cleo... Cleo joins the Scottage and changes alliances.

Scar probably tries to sell his bonus life to someone but as the Magical Mountain has a lot of resources I don't think he finds something worth the life... So he probably gives it to Mumbo or Joel... I think Joel.

As Joel isn't red he also doesn't shoot Grian off the Nether bridge... Cleo's death is avoided for the same reason...

Grian not being shot doesn't change much as Bdubs falls to his death in the nether and causes Grian's death in the process... at least he isn't red.

Kingohger G Rosso Show #3 Summary (1/2/24 & 1/3/24)

i went to see the g rosso show with @valentinezlove! recap/summary on the whole show + my thoughts below~ ❤️🤍 (warning: spoilers, really long)

SPOILERS AHEAD for basically the whole plot of the g rosso show (though i left some stuff out) i believe this show is going to be livestreamed at some point so pls be aware if you're going to watch that and don't wanna be spoiled!

also, despite seeing this show TWICE i am so bad at remembering things and get distracted way too easily. i left out details and scenes im not confident in my memory abt😭 also this recap is a personal account so its probably jeramie heavy and there Will be giramie ramblings from my annoying ass

THE SHOW

the show starts with kamejim scheming evilly, as kamejim does. he calls forth grodie (!) to do his thing, and he appears as a recording on the big screen. grodie begrudgingly brings some dead sanagims back to life and he's like “ok go crazy/好きにして” and then kamejim orders them to go forth and destroy humanity/the whole planet. the sanagim are about to attack the audience on the front row when suddenly we hear giras WAHAHAHA and the five kings, gira, himeno, yanma, rita and kaguragi descend onto the stage!!

cue really epic fight

at this point i was like ah i see i guess jeramies coming in the middle of the show… but then NUH UH. SUDDENLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES A SPIDER DROPS DOWN FROM THE CEILING ON HIS WEB IN THE AUDIENCE!!

the first time we saw the show on the yan/hime/gira day, our seats were a bit further back so when jeramie came down it was in a perfectly clear view in front of us!!! i SRSLY GOT JUMPSCARED I THOUGHT I HAD A HEART ATTACKK on the 3rd we were sitting really close to the front so i kept looking behind us in anticipation when i knew jeramie was going to make his appearance eheehe..

also when jeramie appeared he said “otto! dont forget about me!” and gira was the first to go “jeramie! you came!” 🥺

anyway they finish beating up the zombie sanagims and kamejims all like fufufufu i am cooking up an evil evil plan to destroy this planet Best Beware u silly kings and then disappears

after the fight the kings convene and discuss what they should do abt kamejim and the new super villain threat that is the galactinsect king and the jesters. but how could they ever beat them? what power is possibly strong enough?? wherever will we find a source of such power?

suddenly kaguragi goes aha! and he begins to recount to everyone an old myth he’s heard about a village back in toufu

apparently theres a 2000 yr old legend that a comet once fell near a village and it left behind an object the village ppl called the "star drop" (星の雫), which looks like a magical orb

the village ppl have kept the star drop for generations and legend has it that the orb has mysterious powers to grant anyone a wish, perhaps we can use it to defeat kamejim

upon hearing the wish part the kings all go WHAT!! and lean in with interest except gira who doesnt react and just kinda stands there (he doesnt seem that interested …?)

the spotlight goes onto yanma and we hear him monologuing abt how he wants to use the wish to make his super computer (i think its hilarious he never gives up on this)

the spotlights goes on himeno and she says she wants a cure all that can cure any wound (🥺)

the spotlights on rita and they wish for a super deluxe limited edition something something moffun 

the spotlights on jeramie and he says, in a very dramatic voice, この2000年生きる語り部が知らない伝説なんて、気に入らない、気に入らないぞ！💀 (a myth that I, this 2000 yr old storyteller has never heard of? i don't like that!)

we dont get to see what gira thinks regarding his wish 0_0 and technically jeramie too bc THAT WASNT A WISH KHGDDDH and also kaguragi because obviously we can never look into his mind hes sussy! (more on dat later tho….)

unbeknownst to the kings, kamejim was hiding and listening in to their conversation the whole time. an orb that can grant any wish…? interesting…

cut to the team arriving at the secluded, very hidden away village. its full of old looking tombs and temples overgrown with vines and such

suddenly from the audience a bunch of people come in parading one of those long dragon puppets and doing a festival-like chant. apparently this dragon is a symbol of the village spirit/guardian born from the comet myth. i think???? i cant remember this part really well because Both times i saw the show i was ALWAYS distracted by gira playing with the dragon really cutely in the background (he’d ruffle its hair or pat its head and the actor would hit gira on his head not to touch it and he would bow in apology😭 🙏)

also upon arriving the village jeramie says "in all my 2000 yrs of living, even i never knew about this place" (i love how they bring up his thousands of years wandering as a cryptid and how much he loves chikyuu and knows it so well,,)

they meet the village elder, whom kaguragi greets but instead of welcoming his king the elder yells at all of them to go home, you shouldnt be here and theres no such thing as the star drop here!! leave us be!! the myth that theres a power that grants wishes here is just that, a myth!

and the teams like zamnnn so we went all the way out here for nothing…? yanmas like kaguragi im gonna beat the shit out of u and in the end everyones like Welp i guess we should go home and everyone except jera start to exit the stage. gira is like wait guys are u sure!?! and watches them go off one by one. in the end jeramies like come on now and either drags gira away or on the show i saw on jan 2nd he casually gently pushes gira on the chest (?) WOULD BE BETTER IF I DREW IT TO EXPLAIN BUT IT WAS CUTE😭)

and then jeramie leaves the stage too but then a few seconds later he walks backward and reappears from the curtain and goes な~んてね (just kidding/as if)

he says “honestly, those kings really cant read between the lines huh? this village is obviously hiding something they dont want us to know”

and so jeramie alone walks in the other direction and leaves to the right of the stage

~the middle of the night~

the village elder is sneaking about, two other village men join him, theyre all whispering very discreetly

the elder is like “are they gone yet?”

“sir yessir theyve gone.”

elder says smth like “good! we cant let any of them get their hands on the village treasure that weve guarded for generations''

the elder decides to go to the tomb to ensure the star drop is safe

cut to jeramie sneaking around trying to find where theyre keeping this dang orb. while he’s looking for it he suddenly hears footsteps, turns out its yanma and himeno who ALSO came back to sneakily look for the orb themselves , jeramies like oh crap seems like theyve caught on as well, he goes to hide behind a platform and this part is absolutely ridiculous like whats wronggg w him tbh

like at first when jeramie goes to hide he lies on his side and had his whole one leg up before belatedly putting it down. yanma and himeno are fighting above him and each time they get closer jeramie would flinch dramatically and at some point hes just striking different poses 😭😭😭 also the one i saw on january 3rd when yanma and himeno get way too close to jeramie, yanmas actor accidentally hits jeramie with his sword probably bc he didnt know what improvised pose he’d be in lol…

we cut back to the elder at the tomb, he says some spell in an unknown language and the tomb opens up and reveals the orb (sitting on a pedestal) he goes to take it but doesnt realize that rita was standing there the whole time

the elders like “what are u doing here!!” rita says something abt how they can tell when ppl are guilty of hiding something/lying 👁👁

then suddenly gira waltzes in and is all like “wooow the stars are so pretty…. wait rita? and elder? hi!! man the stars are just so pretty out here i that i got lost wandering around, can u show me the way back? wait a minute whats that youre holding? :0” (note: GIRA WHO LOVES STARGAZING REALLLL)

elders like NONE OF U CAN HAVE IT!! BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN IF THIS FALLS INTO THE WRONG HANDS! 

ritas like anyway whatever give me that orb, and lunges at the elder to grab it

at this point himeno and yanma arrive to the scene and himenos like that orb is MINE!! and they all fight over it 

rita ends up getting it and IMMEDIATELY they wish for “moffuns warmth” and then moffun actually appears fr on stage 😭😭 while rita is busy going crazy over moffun and hugging it the elder chants another incantation which appears to have reversed the wish and moffun goes away.  yanma gets a hold of the orb next but right at that moment jeramie swings by on a cord and snatches it from him!! 

jeramie lands on the ground, orb in hand all pleased with himself but then.. someone sneaks up from the shadows behind him and its kaguragi!!! and he has his sword to jeramies neck while hes backed against a wall and jeramie goes otto~ (it was sexy as hell tbh)

so kaguragi has the orb now and hes like “so it seems the myth is true. thank you everyone for confirming this for me”

everyones like kaguragi... could it be…? u were just using us to get the star drop yourself this whole time!!!??

and kaguragis like maa maa dont worry abt it (FORGETTING A LOT OF DETAILS HERE but something abt how if a village in his country has been keeping an object so powerful it only makes sense it should be in his hands or something , maybe?)

but anyway no one wins this round because THEN suddenly kamejim appears and takes the hot potato orb from kaguragi 

and hes like ufufufu and then uses the star drop to make his super evil plan to destroy the planet come true, and when he says his wish suddenly the orb starts going crazy with an immense dark force , its glowing purple and its all crackly like a thunderstorm is inside it, the ground shakes and everything around them starts falling apart

the elders like nooooo and tries to take the orb back but kamejim flings him away and the elder is knocked unconscious

in the end, gira manages to get a hold of the star drop but he struggles to keep it still in his hands bc of the wild dark energy, gira tries to repeat the incantation he heard the elder say earlier but it isnt working, then gira is like “i have no other choice!” and it looks like gira holds the orb close to his chest and the stage goes dark as he screams and then a few moments later he reemerges as…… ~Dark Gira~ 

Gira is silent for a moment but then he growls in a rlly low voice “i am the tyrant king… and i will destroy this planet!”  and starts blindly attacking everyone

evil gira doesnt do the classic evil laugh at all… hes eerily silent and mostly growls and groans a lot. he moves creepily like hes possessed, sometimes he crouches rlly low as if hes on all fours like a wild beast, he pounces on kaguragi and pins him to the ground like a predator 😱 (it was scarYyyy). his evil voice is also super super deep (huge win for the actual!evil tyrant gira enthusiasts…)

everyones like gira whats wrong with you!! gira snap out of it!! dont you recognize us?!?! but it seems gira has completely taken in the dark energy of the orb into himself

giras so powerful in this state that he defeats all the other kings. jeramie was the last to try and fight gira and smth ppl pointed out that Indeed i noticed was true on my rewatch is that evil gira mercilessly went for jeramies bugnarak arm 😭(AAAA)

in the end everyone can only lay defeated on the ground. jeramies dramatic ass says “ah, is this how the story ends? what a tragedy..” 

the curtain slowly closes on evil gira standing alone center stage as he once again yells “i will destroy this world…!”

later, kaguragi, yanma, and rita gather together to reassess their plan. himeno joins in late, she just got done treating the elders wounds. he should be fine, and jeramie is looking after him now.

(note: i was internally screaming at this. ever since ep 42 when himeno was taking a look at injured racles and went “jeramie” and jeramie immediately knew to Web up his wounds i was like oh… theyve done this before. himeno and jeramie have been spending time tgt treating ppl/himeno has been teaching jeramie things and vice versa OOUGH MY BELOVED HIMENO AND JERAMIE FRIENDSHIP. JERAMIE NURSE IN TRAINING REAL) (also fuel for my 1677282 different headcanons regarding jeramie and how he deals with his own injuries... himeno getting mad at this 2000 yr old spider w 2000 yr old habits and teaching him how to take care of himself..)

rita is like no wonder the village ppl guarded the star drop so fiercely… 

its a great, dangerous power that no one person should wield..

ah… so the myth is actually a burden/responsibility kaguragi let his ppl carry for 2000 yrs…. kaguragi wanted to help his own ppl, not selfishly use the wish for himself..

yanma deduces that the orb takes on the intense feelings of whoever makes a wish, and to cancel out the dark energy in gira right now, they need a feeling thats more powerful than That

but what?? from where and how?? 

then suddenly, evil gira reappears, still possessed by the dark energy

himenos like i know!! surely his feelings for us kings/our memories together as his friends are stronger!!

(the kings look at the audience)

OF COURSE!! we’ll use the power of everyones emotions here!! everyone, lend us your help, at the count of three, everybody shout gira’s name!!

whenever the audience shouted giraaaa, he gets hit with a sparkly effect, its working!! yanma goes hypeman cheerleader mode and is like CMON IS THAT ALL YOUVE GOT!! SAY IT LOUDERR

and we shout gira a couple times and finally we shout the incantation (it was rlly cute and sweet sobs)

a transition, gira is back to normal. the orb is also back in one piece

jeramie conveniently comes in after the whole thing all “ah, is gira back to normal already?” 💀💀 tuxedo man meme ass…

anyway now that they have the star drop again hot potato is BACK on and they fight kamejim for it one final time.

gira chases after kamejim and theres a funny bit during the chase where kamejim goes into the audience and gives the orb to one of the audience members and hes like “that persons holding it” and giras like oh sorry excuse me! could u please give me that orb? KHAHSHSJSN

then FINALLY once they got the orb back, they manage to actually destroy it for real so that smth like this never happens again. and thus the kings save the village from ruin! the elder is thankful to kaguragi and the others for saving them but ah… now this village no longer has a legend of its own. but then jeramie says “but we have rewritten it by creating a new legend! the story of the six heroes who saved this village!” our 思い (feelings) will be a new legend~

jeramie has this long winded ass curtain closing speech, going on abt probably the power of friendship and 思い and stories that we have to 心に刻まないとね♡ (carve it into our hearts) . i didnt see it on the show i saw but yes, this is where the infamous giramie hug happened :') the one i saw on the 2nd, jeramie said this while putting his hand on giras shoulder and leaning into him, on the 3rd he put a hand to his heart and looked into giras eyes…or visor. he titled his head all cutely and shit too ARGGGHH

and of course jeramie finishes the entire show by going …とさっ♡ (or so the story goes) and since gira and jeramie are standing next to each other center stage the curtain frames the both of them right before the show ends... aaa...

END!

G ROSSO WAS SO GOOD AND FUN AND CUTE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! if you can, def tune into the livestream theyre doing at some point which is gonna feature the non suit actors in the show!!!

As a long time fan of minecraft I present

Ways I would change to minecraft movie if I directed it

(Qualifications: The cake is a lie)

1. You cannot convince me 2d animation wouldn't improve the movie. Shaders could provide some great visual inspiration to make it feel more cinematic. Seriously, minecraft has great models for building complex beautiful environments

2. Hire some of those minecraft short makers. Seriously

3. Nonverbal steve. Nonverbal steve. Add some good old minecraft body language. Other characters can talk, though forming a friendship with a nonverbal alex could be great. Villager type characters that talk but then our two non verbal besties exploring the world and living together

4. Bring back the credits being, maybe even let them function as a subtle guide. Make it a movie about the joy in creation and exploration and the natural world. A minecraft movie should be about the inherent creativity and desire to do that humans contain.

5. Lots of fandom easter eggs. Including older and mod/server references.

6. Excessive quantities of chickens. No explanation needed

7. Some definite horror vibes. This is minecraft afterall

8. Amnesia isekai

9. As alex/steve grow up the world grows with them through there continuous efforts to improve the place, adding walls/lamps/flowers, digging out and transforming the area around houses, curing zombie villagers. Their house following the wooden shed to the cottage to the most intricate fairytale building you've seen in your life pipeline, ideally integrated into the village. Maybe connected by a cobble stone path decorated with wildflowers?

10. I just need the movie to end with the two of them sitting next to each other on a wooden pier, almost holding hands, legs kicking, as they silently stare at the sun setting into the ocean, at peace after having rebuilt their lives, the fruits of their labor behind them in the background, with soft ambient music playing

11. And then the movie credits need to come in the style of the original game credits except they end on parrots dancing to a jukebox and they have images of some of the most iconic minecraft builds. Like the international anti censorship library or dan tdm's old lab, a creeper birthday cake, just a little treasure trove of the ways minecraft has impacted peoples' lives

12. And the most important. Never confirm who they were or how they got there. Steve gives me florist vibes and Alex reminds me of Leah, but that's not super important. Give hints to their past life, how they ended up there, but let the audience fill in the blanks, make them have to watch to learn the quirks of the cast, to pick up those hints, let the offspring of game theory loose their minds

The lastest ep of Secret Life really got me thinking about a more zombie apocalypse smp. The single player ones have been done, but I think a smp one maybe hasn’t?

Crucially, I’d like the details of the zombies abilities to be kept under wraps until a person is infected.

You start with a grace period, let people do the normal survival. But the very first person to become a zombie should ideally be random and maybe even randomly timed.

Give it some boogeyman vibes and have them know they’re infected but no one else. The other players will crucially not know when the first person becomes infected.

I can’t decide whether I want infection deaths to be announced in chat.

Things I’d want on the map include villagers and the deep dark, but no stuff like a woodland mansion. I like helmets off rules, as well as no netherite and potions. Minimal armor enchants maybe as well.

As the series progresses, bits of the map will be unlocked and buildings with loot like potions and such will made available to everyone.

The initial aim will be to survive until the final bit of the map unlocks. A bunker. It will be the furthest bit away from the start area, so people will still likely have their bases with all the built up defenses pretty far away from it.

Hype up what could be in the bunker. A beacon, a vaccine against the infection, a portal to another world, a super weapon, anything.

I think a cure of some sort would be a dramatic enough solution, but I’m not set on it.

I haven’t thought through what abilities I want the zombies to have but here are some of my ideas.

I like the idea of the players being essentially on hardcore rules, and the zombies having lots of hearts but no regeneration. Until they kill of course. Giving zombies this vibe of being able to survive tons and tons of damage until they’re falling apart.

Players can survive close calls, but zombies just accumulate damage.

On the flipside, zombies won’t need to eat, can’t drown, and mobs will not aggro on them. So you can’t just set a warden or a wither on them.

The zombies will have the initial aim of spreading the infection and stopping the players from reaching the bunker.

I've thought of a concept of a mainly Resident Evil 4 AU like... similar to a vampire AU but not quite. Some kind of Castlevania-ish AU (in a similar setting with similar rules to the universe of Castlevania. With vampires, but also a lot of other kinds of monsters and fantastical races.) It'd be like some kind of Serennedy focused AU, so I decided to design them both first.

Here they are! There's colours for once :0.

Also, I've written down some of the worldbuilding for that AU if you want more context and information. It's a WIP still, so not everything is perfectly set in stone. But, if I had the mental energy, was better with time management, and was able to concentrate on my writing for more than ten minutes, I would have totally already started a fic about it. So, there's still a lot of stuff here:

Leon is a vampire/monster hunter (for obvious reason), and he is sent on a mission to save an important governor's daughter (Ashley Graham) who got captured by Lord Saddler (who is a vampire almost on the same importance of Dracula in this universe.) Luis is a dark chemist who has a lot of forbidden knowledge with science and magic. He wasn't liked in the village, but Lord Saddler admired him for his intellectual prowess, and, well, it pretty much follows canon. But it's more of a mix of fantasy and sci-fi, unlike og RE 4, which is mostly just sci-fi with the parasite stuff. Luis learns how to turn humans into monsters but also reanimate dead bodies (making Frankenstein or zombies), but he's obviously not pleased by the result. He's not capable of creating vampires, tho. Saddlers, being a vampire lord, can turn other people into vampires, and he turned Mendez and Salazar into ones. He doesn't turn too many people into vampires since they have more free wills than, like, zombies and can't control their darkened souls as well. But the fact that, if vampires go out of the village, they would most likely be killed by the hunters, Saddler can emotionally manipulate them to work for him.

Leon eventually gets bitten by Saddler and is about to become a vampire. Obviously, becoming a vampire means he'd lost everything all over again, but, most importantly, for him, his humanity. This happens before he finds Luis. Luis, at that point, wants to change his way of living and repents for his sins, so he decides to help Leon. When he discovers that Leon got bitten, he's enthralled to study him and try to find a cure... Leon accepts being his test subject, but Luis needs to help Leon get back the governor's daughter first. (Which he hasn't found yet.) And so, they go on their... horror adventure. By the way, Luis is not a vampire, and it's difficult for vampires to control their bloodthirsty impulse, so Luis must keep distances with them. He made a deal with Saddlers to help him, but to not get bitten in exchange. But, since he works so close with Leon and that the latter can't be really ordered around by Saddlers because of his rebellious nature and free will, well... if he turns into a vampire... It'd get dangerous for Luis... and Ada, because Ada is a huntress and it'd be more Leon that would be in trouble if she found out about him becoming a vampire. :/

I didn't think much of Wesker's and friends' role in the AU yet, but it's a work in progress.... The time period is between 1700 and 1900, but it's still a fantastical world, so some anachronistic elements or mixing of time period can be found. Sorry, history fanatics. *^*

I'm keeping this here so I won't lose the idea in the near future. (Unrelated, but now that I think of it, RE is a series that takes a lot of inspiration from old monsters (or horror, I guess) movies, just like Castlevania.... no wonders, I'm a fan of the two. And no wonders, both series are getting in Dead by Daylight. Jeebus Chris, the Dead by Daylight team it so wise on their IP choices. :/ I'll try not to get caught into their marketing, but I won't deny that they're wise and that they already almost caught me as if I was some kind of pokémon.)

Pawn #2 - Do they act any differently around other Arisen across the Rift?

Emrys is actually a bit more laid-back and genuine around other Arisen than he is Olivia - almost solely because Olivia exists as "his Arisen" that he is bound to, so she gets most of his 'ire'. But, by 'genuine' this sometimes means more of his "Straightforward" remarks come leaking out, but it's usually all in good fun. Amusingly between them, (on the surface at least), it looks like Emrys lets a thin wall down, and Rann puts a thin wall up. Rann is just a little more stiff and formal, but his overall demeanor doesn't really change a whole lot. He's keen on being helpful wheresoever he can, but would prefer to hang back a little and let others take the lead so he can support (which isn't entirely different except that Reverie sometimes prefers to follow his directions). It's kind of a bit of a load-off, not being the "main pawn" 😅 so he's happy to defer to the judgement of the Arisen's pawn. So while there's that slight sense of distance initially, with enough time spent it'd gradually relax as he finds his footing with each individual Arisen, so-to-speak.

Arisen & Pawn #7 - What are their least favorite enemies to fight?

A common enough answer, Reverie hates rattlers. Her preferred tactic if possible is picking them up and chucking them in the brine/lava/whatever. She also HATES ogres; early amnesia brainfog Reverie got some trauma from them that she does gradually overcome with the mentality of: I'mgoingtokillitI'mgoingtokillitI'mgoingtokill it before it can drool all over me. Rann similarly is not fond of ogres for pretty much the same reason of how badly Reverie responded to them. 😂But I do think it's funny that his inclination complains about griffins, so I like to think he's been a bit traumatized about them ever since that time Reverie got flown halfway across the map - ...and then when it happened again... and again........ Olivia hates choppers. They are so annoying and she always forgets to look for them and they always catch her off-guard. And she'd much rather admit to that than confess how piss-her-pants scared she is of literally everything undead. Ghosts, skeletons, zombies, you name it, she's trying not to cry or hide behind Em. Fortunately her "fight" instinct is significantly higher than "flight" but she kind of just starts blindly flailing around a bit..... Obviously Emrys's greatest enemy are crates. I mean drakes. Drakes. The potential for having his control taken away from him is uh, it's pretty uncomfortable.

World & Story #3 - Regardless of whether you adhere to the in-game counter or not, how long do you think their journey took? Did they book it with a sense of urgency, or did things get drawn out - and why?

Okay, short answers because one day I'm gonna probably do "full outlines" for each of their journeys. Reverie's probably takes about a year, maybe encroaching closer to two years. I like to think the sense of urgency can be drawn out, so I'm shoving in shopping episodes and more personalized quests for more NPCs, a million little delicate moments between her and Rann. (Also playing with the idea that ferrystones are more of a 'for the gamer' thing and even rarer and more difficult to obtain in the real canon, so travel time elongates and once you get to Battahl you don't just skip over to the other side of the map for lunch all the time.) I might get a clearer/more refined idea about their journey though when they get into NG+. Similarly, Olivia's journey tbh probably takes at least three years, but I haven't pinpointed the actual timeframe either. I just know everything gets drawn out. From her family being involved and helping find a way to cure her amnesia, to spending a few months in the Nameless Village training as a thief, to Vernworth getting wiped out by Em's Dragonsplague and them having to go on a quest to find the Eternal Wakestone, everything gets really stretched and tugged around. Three years might even be lowballing it a little, but she's not looking to challenge Savan's supposed record 😂

I just had the craziest dream of my life!

It was a Disney aniversary special that started with characters I only knew from previous dreams that lived in this whimsical fairy land.

The main characters were a family, there was an evil fairy troll great grandma with fire wings, a fairy furry mother who also had fire wings, two human aunts, a human neighbour friend, a woman who just looked exactly like my irl personal trainer and a bergen child who had the magical habity to manipulate blue sand to make it represent her own feelings/memories/thoughts and just kept dealing with so much suffering at such a young age.

One day a new invention was announced.

It was a so called "cure" for any illness or disorder in form of a magenta injection. Plus there were a lot of robots who planned to do all human service and they were INCREDIBLY uncanny valley. The people from the family started thinking that the cure actually worked and I was cornered by all the old people injecting eachother; so I kept trying to convince the personal trainer that it didn't, but she wouldn't believe me and told me she was going to do it in a few days.

I had another dream about these same inventions before. Ik it was something bad, but I couldn't remember why; so I told her the injections did nothing, they'd just make you feel weaker. She almost believed me when I told her about the dream I had, but the evil great grandma showed up and ruined the mood saying she would use the substance as a tranquilizer on her great-granddaughter that same day at 12'O clock so she wouldn't resist anymore. They were going crazy.

So we ran to stop her, but she kept chasing her until she got tired of running and gave up. We all thought she had gotten her when her wings got caught on fire by our mother's magic. We all were happy that she survived and Trainer thanked me for being right all along, but right after we got caught in a big flood. We lived again... though the world was still chaos.

Then there was this fake-out credits scene in a Disney Theater with very emotional moments representing each character's arc in an almost abstract looking way. We saw my OC fairy villagers interacting on their routine, Varian and his OC sister bonding through a reprise of Justice and many Disney characters. For some reason there were many s3x scenes in ir and one of them was an org*gy with a shark, but that's beside the point.

Then the psych0sis started to kick in when this robotic zombie old man showed up.

Me and Trainer were walking in the corridors to find the exit and we found him. He seemed to be nice at first; so we led him to the room he wanted to go to and closed the door. When we walked away we could hear echoes of him mumbling and everything went dark, so we ran as fast as we could to the exit.

When we left we saw that everything was different. The cure turned everyone into robot-like zombies. It was a technological apocalypse.

So we walked around Disney to find characters that were still alive and could help us. We found Cadence and Vanessa singing an acoustic song full of harmonies like AI never could; Then Doof showed up right after and revealed himself to be a zombie. He was chasing after us with blinding light in his eyes, sharp teeth and robotic spider legs. We managed to scape him, but ended up running into the water again.

That's when we found out the river's waters were the real cure. It was an essence, plus the sand edges were made of different nutrients like food.

So we saved everyone with the flood's water and started getting back to normal.

Then it cut to Vanessa recreating gyaru old internet and it was very emotional.

Real credits scene was me walking out of the theaters with Trainer again, but the floor had images and lightning relating to the psycholocical horror we just went through.

Now this is something to think about, isn't it?

ECSMP Purple tour

I realized, that there's not much information on purple, their home, or belongings, so I wanted to give a little tour on how things are for them in nova island. Honestly, most their lore was completely unplanned, But as usual, when I attempt to be comic relief I get angst dumped upon me. (the way I got purple killed so many times on their first day,, I'm so sorry baby I'm so reckless, and do not care for the consequences of death)

Anyways.. First ill be showing the outside of their home/headquarters.

(someone had originally stolen the hot chocolate, which was going to have lore related things happening because of it, but I'm not sure if they returned it or someone else put an extra.)

down the elevator into my ACTUAL house on floor -1, this is where the magic happens (and no lag reported so far from my machines!)

I know how to make it work but I don't care enough for that much cactus, so this brings it in slow enough for me.

now to the cute little part of the house that I just kind of played around with in its creation. In these pictures you can see the zombie villager they cured, the dog they saved with potions (Finley), and 3 of their 6 birds, (from left to right it goes Custard, Churro, and Bonbon, all named after desserts because of my irl relations with baking XD) + Cornelius who was recently renamed to pee and then re-renamed

+ their bookshelf,, which I will get to in another post :)

time for their room, with Meringue sitting there on their vanity, and Cordial on the shelf. Charlottes on the bed.

And now for the cutest and saddest part of their room,,, uuhuhhuuhe.. of course the cat plushie in the mod looks exactly like Tiramisu,,, Purple understands death happens, but they miss their kitty very much!

Soulfire Purgatory Day 6

-this is Bad and Pac day with Rivers and Tubbo

-Tubbo gets a witch and cures a villager

-Bad, Pac, and Tubbo work on a secret base and meet an eyeball (admin) thing and name them Trousers after giving them some pants

-Tubbo, Bad, Pac and Trousers go over to kill Fit as its a quest. Pac does try to talk them out of it but knows its in vain since its a mission

-they find sugar cane and chase down and kill Fit, during the fight they could tell that fit was using an enhancement and determined it was coffee after his death

-they left Fit’s belongings but got to peak at his gear and it was better then theirs so they got a little worried

-Bads main objective of the day was getting set up enough that it could be a support for players that aren’t as encouraged to play, Pac focus of the day was completing the tasks

-Pac and Trousers worked on the base and made it very beautiful and cozy

-Bad trash talked with the other teams in group chat, and determined it was him and Pac against the world

-Trousers left and Bad went to look to find leather for books and red base, he is killed by a bull because he was riding his bike while attacking it

-Bad stumbles across Phillza and hides

-Rivers logs in in the center of a red raid in blue base, Bad tells her to lie, they learn from this that Pac is red teams target, ultimately bad knows that rivers is doomed to death but its ok because the base is set up with gear for her, (rivers is upset though as she worked hard for her gear) shes killed and red loots all gear stuff. Tina is also killed she had logged in the same position offline she logs of shortly after but I think Pac shows her and Rivers the secret base

-the eggs are placed at the egg base in the desert so bad goes to look at it. He runs into Cellbit, he on horse back and Bad on a bike. They engage a few blows bad just tries to make it to the safety square he’s successful but does lose his bike in the process

-blues egg is a combo of Chayanne and Leo, a group call is called again and every team agrees upon not killing the eggs

-Rivers shows Bad a cool pickaxe she has

-Bad and Pac start a villager raid and get a totem of undying

-Bad and Pac run around trying to complete the zombie and skeleton quests as its there last ones or so they thought (they need to kill fit one more time but there bar had said complete after the first kill)

-Pac is chased by Phil and Bad rolls up and chases Phil away (Pac does incredible at getting away)

-Bad talks to max over comms and learns how max doesnt want to fight anyone

-Bad runs across Roier and is chased by him, roier getting a few hits and Bad learns he has fire aspect, Bad gets away and hides in a cave. He had the confidence to beat roier (wether true or not remain to be seen) but knew he couldn’t risk all of Pacs efforts of the day and his teams score if lost so he ran and hid

-Bad makes a call with Forever and learns that he is greens Target. He also learns that they still need a kill on Fit for the day so they attempt to set up a trade. Bad had 33 levels and no chance to enchant and didnt want to lose it but decided a fortune pickaxe would suffice (this deal went back and fourth between red and green team Bad couldn’t help himself being a demon about it eventually agreeing upon his death x2 for a fortune pickaxe and Fits death)

-Pac feeling discouraged and defeated after such a long hard days work logs off (Pac you were wonderful!!)

-Bad meets Forever both ‘naked’ in items. Forever gets several kills on him to boost greens score and then has Bad kill him. Fit then exchanges the pickaxe and is killed by Bad

-Tubbo logs on offline while drunk while bad is desperately trying to complete the tasks in the last few minutes. Blue team came so ridiculously close with only a handful of skeletons left to kill, a disappointing end but a very interesting day where Bad and Pac bonded

Reading IDW’s 2018 Sonic the Hedgehog comic (specifically the Metal Virus saga) has given me new respect for Cream the Rabbit.

TL;DR - Cream the Rabbit is a fuckin’ legend and deserves to have respect put on her name. She goes through some heavy shit.

Spoilers below. It’s a long post so be warned.

Cream the Rabbit, first introduced in Sonic Advance 2, has never really been a character I was particularly concerned with. She was basically introduced to give Amy Rose/Blaze the Cat a sidekick a la Tails with Sonic. She’s got very obvious Japanese influences on her design (she’s quiet, polite, selfless and demure - traits that are supposedly indicative of a ‘good Japanese woman’). She’s also just six years old, and kid characters are hit-and-miss at the best of times.

However, when reading the Metal Virus saga, I saw her get some really good characterisation that DOESN’T clash with what’s already been established.

Issue 18 - The first words out of her mouth are a stammer. She’s scared, because she’s six years old and there are zombots (Metal Virus-infected people who are indestructible and act like mindless zombies) in her village. The very NEXT words out of her mouth is a desire for her to go help her neighbours who are in trouble. When her mother shoots that down, she immediately suggests sending her superpowered robot protector (Gemerl - whose ONLY concern is keeping Cream safe) to help others.

Gemerl ends up fighting Sonic, because the latter is himself infected by the Metal Virus and has been using his super speed to keep it at bay. Gemerl won’t let him near Cream because of the infection, and is fullly willing to kill Sonic if he doesn’t back off. Sonic eventually does back down and runs off to burn off some virus. Gemerl then turns the missiles he’d been aiming at Sonic on the zombots.

Upon seeing him do this, Cream immediately leaves her barricaded home to get him to stop, saying that the infected are victims and that he has to treat them like such, using non-lethal methods only.

It doesn’t end up working, and the zombots breach the house and cause Cheese and Chocola (the chao pets of Cream and her mother Vanilla respectively) to become infected in defence of their owners. Vanilla grabs Cream and runs, while Cream is crying out for Cheese and Chocola to come with her (they refuse, because they know they’ll infect her if they do).

Their escape is blocked by more zombots, but Sonic and Gemerl create a path for them. Sonic directs Cream to fly Vanilla out (Cream can fly by flapping her ears), asking her to ‘be brave’ despite all that’s happening, and she manages it. Six years old and has the fortitude and will to be brave while their home is being destroyed and members of her family are becoming infected with what at-that-point was considered a death sentence. There is no known cure for the virus in issue 18. All infected are considered lost.

Issue 20 - Back at Restoration (the good guys) HQ, Sonic is waiting outside while they get him a safe way in where his infected ass won’t trouble the refugees they’re holding inside.

Cream is the one who greets him at the door, and leads him through the safe path. And she does it with a smile. When Sonic asks her if it’s past her bedtime, she readily acknowledges it, but says that Vanilla lets her stay up to help out (showing she’s very aware of the dire circumstances, and that it’s not normal for a six year old to be asked to do as much as she’s doing). She also reveals that she’s essentially scared to go to sleep, as she keeps having nightmares of seeing Cheese and Chocola get infected.

Cream and Sonic walk along a high catwalk, looking down at the gathered refugees, who all look miserable. Cream verbally confirms that everyone’s in a bad way, scared and sad and crammed together. She knows she can’t do much to help, but she’s resolved to remain outwardly happy to give the refugees something good to distract them from the general misery of the situation.

This six year old girl is trying to be happier than the entire world is sad, just to lift the spirits of a room full of people she doesn’t even know. Cream knows she’s not a fighter, so she’s doing all she can to help. She’s putting on a brave face, even though she is herself feeling miserable inside. She’s six, people should be doing that FOR HER, not the other way around.

Issue 22 - This is a continuation of issue 20, as they’re still at the Restoration HQ (Cream is, at least. Sonic has left again to run off the infection and try to help others still out there). Cream basically repeats the conversation she had with Sonic with Amy Rose (who is leading the Restoration). Amy is visibly worn down from running on no sleep and constant stress, so Cream brings her tea to keep her awake.

When Amy asks her how she can remain sunny and upbeat, Cream again admits (with tears in her eyes) that it’s not easy. She’s scared, she knows her mother is scared, she knows everybody’s scared, but she’s trying. She even says she’s taken Sonic’s instruction to ‘be brave’ to heart.

Leaving Amy to her work, Cream heads back to the overhead catwalk, and looks down on the refugees, who are even more crowded in now. Since nobody’s watching her, her face instantly falls into worry as she recognises the reality of the situation.

Vector and Espio show up at this point, with a contained-but-infected Charmy Bee. Gemerl wants to throw them out, but Cream flies down from the catwalk to again intercede. The INSTANT she’s down amongst others again, there’s a permanent smile on her face. Every panel that shows her face shows her as happy and hopeful, despite being anything but a moment before.

Unfortunately, an infected has managed to get into the base. This infected person isn’t mindless yet, but they are very scared.

As you’d expect, the situation almost immediately goes to hell. The infected refugee becomes a zombot and starts infecting others. The panicked crush causes Charmy to get loose and also start infecting others, Espio hits the alarm, and Amy has to call for a complete evacuation of Restoration HQ.

THIS is the moment where Cream can’t pretend anymore. Gemerl grabs her and flies up above the crush. Cream is no longer smiling, she’s openly crying and calling out for her mother.

Cream and Gemerl get separated. He’s taking on a zombot, while she’s flying around in a panic trying to find Vanilla. Amy orders Gemerl to get to the shuttle and hold off anyone infected who tries to get inside (Gemerl can scan everyone to detect infection - the only reason he didn’t catch the infected was that he was dealing with Vector and Charmy) while she gets Cream.

Cream’s still in tears at this point, still flying, but she spots her mother and dives straight for her.

Vanilla, who can’t fly, is currently physically holding off a zombot, and is visibly infected. She hears Cream coming, and begs Amy to get her daughter to safety.

Amy complies, intercepting Cream before she can reach Vanilla (who just thanks Amy for it, right in front of Cream).

Cream has given up all pretense at this point, fighting in Amy’s arms while begging anyone who’ll listen to go back for her mother. It’s only when Amy does what Cream’s been doing all saga, putting on a smile and a brave face for her, that she allows herself to be led to a seat on the shuttle. She doesn’t appear for the rest of the issue.

Issue 24 - Cream shows up again during an evacuation of Tangle the Lemur’s village, still helping by flying uninfected to safety, but she’s no longer smiling. She looks sad, and tired, and defeated and broken.

When the situation calms a little, and she’s greeted by Sonic, she doesn’t even look at him. Her expression is exactly the same as when she was flying, and she just walks right past Sonic with her head down, barely eking out an acknowledgement of him.

Amy whispers what happened to Sonic, both of them wearing haunted expressions.

Have I mentioned that Cream is six years old?

Tangle ends up staying behind to buy everyone else time to escape, having been infected, and this causes Whisper the Wolf (who very clearly loves Tangle) to fly into a panic, and she has to be dragged onto the shuttle by force. Once it takes off, Whisper is in a full-on breakdown, weeping and crying loudly.

And Cream is comforting her. She, still wearing her broken expression, is sitting with Whisper’s head in her lap, patting her gently as the wolf despairs.

Whisper (and Tangle) are roughly the same age as most of the main characters. They’re teenagers. Cream is six. And she is the one comforting Whisper. Even now, she’s being that person.

Issue 25 - The remainng survivors have made it to Angel Island, to regroup. Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Starline appear out of nowhere from a portal (Starline had brought in the Deadly Six to help control the zombots, but had been betrayed by them and forced to escape). The good guys, inside the evacuation shuttle, reluctantly demand that Eggman help them cure the virus.

We cut to outside the shuttle, where Eggman’s face is dead-center in Whisper’s crosshairs.

The very next panel is Cream walking in front of Whisper’s sights, to block the shot. She holding Omega’s head, which is all that’s left of him. She politely, but lifelessly, asks (not demands, asks) Whisper not to shoot Eggman. Because it’s necessary right now. She doesn’t make any moral claim about killing, she just recognises that Eggman’s smarts will be useful to undo everything HE did. She knows it’s his fault, and she hates him, but she knows that they need him right now, and stands in front of her ally’s gun-barrel because of it.

And this is where Cream demonstrates that, for all her maturity, she is a child.

And she is hurting.

Tears in her eyes and having lost her entire family, she stares down Whisper, a combat veteran ten years older than her.

And when Whisper’s own grief overtakes her again, Cream moves in to hug her.

Issue 26 - The heroes finally manage to plan a counter attack, going after the Deadly Six (who control the zombots and each possess a Chaos Emerald), to allow Sonic and Silver to go Super, and do something about the Metal Virus once and for all.

Gemerl is tasked with going after Zeena, and he says goodbye to Cream before he goes through the portal. Cream protests that she wants to help too. Gemerl tells her it’s too dangerous. Cream plays along for a few moments, then charges into the portal first. Gemerl races after her.

When they land in front of Zeena, Cream LETS LOOSE. She has had enough, and is full-on ready to fight at this point. She’s openly angry, which she hasn’t been yet in the entire saga. She basically channels Inigo Montoya, while still somehow remaining polite.

Issue 27 - Zeena uses her metal-controlling powers to quickly turn Gemerl against Cream, directing the robot to go after Cream.

Even as he’s advancing on her, Cream still doesn’t look worried and remains mostly annoyed. She stands her ground and essentially CHALLENGES Gemerl to break out of Zeena’s mind control because she knows how strong he is.

And it works. When Gemerl busts his own wireless receiver to prevent Zeena’s control signal from reaching him, Cream finally shows some relief.

Zeena then tries to control Gemerl directly. In response, Cream (who up until this point has allowed Gemerl and Cheese and others to fight for her) spin-dashes Zeena in a direct assault.

She then lets out all her frustration in a believably child-like way. She’s literally stamping her foot to try to break Zeena’s connection to Gemerl, while ranting at her.

Cream is a third Zeena’s size, and six. years. old. Zeena still has the zombots mob Gemerl while she physically assaults Cream, kicking her and twisting her arm behind her back and holding her by the ears so she can’t fly away as more zombots advance to infect Cream.

This causes Gemerl to break free long enough to get Zeena off Cream, and then the two of them work together to steal away the Chaos Emerald. Zeena, having lost its power, loses her control over the zombots, who swarm her.

Gemerl is holding Cream, who looks exhausted. She apologises to him, because in the chaos she ended up infected.

She hands the Chaos Emerald over to him.

Then, we’re ‘treated’ to a panel, one single panel, where she just looks terrified. She looks like the overwhelmed little girl she is. One panel, where she’s once again sending away her protector.

Finally, as she’s done all saga, she puts others first.

She knows Gemerl has to take the Chaos Emerald back through the portal to Sonic and the others, and tries to make him believe she’ll be fine. She once again echoes the words Sonic told her back when he first rescued her in Issue 18.

This little girl has kept Sonic’s words like a mantra for the entire saga, as everything got worse, as she lost loved one after loved one, as she took on the burdens of others in addition to her own, as she kept fighting and kept doing the right thing even at great cost to herself.

And she was still doing it to help others despite already having fallen to what was essentially a living death.

Gemerl, thankfully, doesn’t leave her alone. He chucks the Chaos Emerald through the portal, scoops her up, and flies away, promising to stay with her until she is well.

Issue 29/30 - We don’t see Cream again until after Super Sonic and Super Silver purge the Metal Virus from the world. She tearfully reunites with her mother on Angel Isand.

Unfortunately, they are interrupted almost straight away by Zavok making one last ditch effort to cause harm.

Cream responds by shoving her mother out of harm’s way and screaming for Cheese to attack Zavok, which raises the general alarm and brings the rest of the heroes running to subdue him.

After Zavok is contained by Silver telekinetically holding him down, Gemerl discovers Orbot and Cubot in the wreckage, only to be run through from behind by Metal Sonic (again right in front of her).

They manage to stop Metal Sonic from taking Gemerl, but can’t stop his or Eggman’s escape with the other robots.

Issue 31/32 - Cream goes right back to being a happy child, having been reunited with her mother, Cheese, Chocola, and Gemerl. They help out Chaotix in their efforts to find missing persons after the chaos, before attending a party in Tangle’s village to celebrate the end of the disaster.

Eggman, naturally, attacks the party with an Omega-powered mech. Cream is one of the fliers who attacks the doctor directly in his cockpit, remaining in the thick of the fight for the entire duration.

After Sonic shows up and helps to drive off Eggman, Cream (and Cheese and Gemerl) happily joins in on the group hug as the saga finally comes to a close, beaming as the happy hero she is.

Spoilers for Princess Peach: Showtime

...Kind of? It's less about the overall story and more about my thoughts about some of the individual plays. I'll put my brain words under the cut if you want to avoid those kinds of spoilers.

I had a lot of fun with this game. Still am, actually; I'm really just completing the ninja hide and seek challenge, beating the final boss again, and buying the last decorations for the Sparkle Theater (I already got all the ribbons and sparkle gems on the first playthrough because I am shy and quirky :))

I've heard mixed opinions about the game from varying parts of the internet. Mostly things about the simple game play and story, that kind of thing (I think someone said it felt condescendingly easy? Which... feels too intentionally meanspirited? I don't know, I like to think the better of people and things), but in my honest opinion, I'm having a great time.

I guess I'm mostly writing to talk about the plots of some of the individual plays. Most of the time, you get something straightforward and fairly benign: Magical thorns have trapped the king in the castle and you have to cut them down with your sword! All the cookies were stolen before the baking festival and you need to make new ones! Some scientists were taken to an alien world and you have to beat up the aliens to save them! Someone stole something from the museum and you have to solve the case!

...But then you get some plays that are just... too real? Or at least super serious. Things like:

People turn into sweet-ravenous zombies on Halloween after eating a strange guy's "delicious and dubious" cookies (just for you!) and you have to cure them with your better baked goods before they stampede the bakers to death (Pâtissier Level 2)

An old man kidnaps four young women from a village for purposes that are never actually mentioned or explained (Kung Fu Level 2)

There's a plot to plant a bomb in a building and you have to find it before the whole town blows up (Detective Level 2)

You have to race against the clock to save the Cowgirl Sparkla from getting run over by a train (Cowgirl Sparkla Level)

A group of bandits are actively demolishing entire towns and leaving people homeless with a big evil train (Cowgirl Level 2)

The Dashing Thief Sparkla is being suspended with electric shackles and you have to free him one lock at a time by going through wormhole doors (this one's more of an interpretation, but I can only imagine how painful being suspended in a big electric orb is) (Dashing Thief Sparkla Level)

And those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head! There might be other ones I'm forgetting about that are also bizarrely serious!

This isn't to say I don't like these levels; I had/have a lot of fun with them! I really like the outfits and the gameplay of each level! And a few of the villains are fun and memorable, too (the snake boss, the kung fu mini boss, and the ice skater mini boss in particular come to mind).

I guess I just wanted to know if anyone else who played this game saw these levels I mentioned and thought: "huh... they are a little weird, aren't they?"

ethan calls her instead of steven in to help find his wife because steven is v well-known, & he(ethan) doesn't want media attention over his wife's disappearance.

-the gloves are tech from yellow--they give strength 7 can secrete corrosive & sticky substances, plus protect her hands!

-the goggles are glasses from white--they record everything she sees (she can turn them off with a signal from her gem), can take pictures, help her see in the dark, & can send parts of the recording/s to white!!

-the stars were made by steven & the cgs!! they have a tracker in them & allow her to talk to "home base" on any mission! (home base can be the main cgs, just steven, or any other trusted gem/s!!) they also function as strap buckles!!

-overalls are just regular, waterproof & fast-drying, human clothing

-u can't see it but she's wearing boots

-considering having the shirt be laced w technology from blue's court that can lessen pain (happy clouds) or keep her temperature at a comfortable level

mae(half-agate self insert) after "papa"'s fucking shoulder face pustule blows up on her & ethan: "uhhh…that's nasty. imma go throw up--" cw EWWW general re grossnes

So, i'm giving mae chemical knowledge (she learned in order to help use diamond essences for human ailments) so she uses some of the diamond essence stuff stored in her gem to help make enough cures for all of them. So all four get to leave.

Mae & ethan fuse for the final battle with papa, and ethan's fungus strength boosts mae's electricity powers (since holly blue's whip is electrified, blue agate mom gets electricity powers & so does mae) to just fry the shit out of him and destroy him completely.

They unfuse to fit on the boat, but when something rocks it by the big-ass boat, mae grabs ethan's hand, an unspoken word of "we need to protect them" goes thru their eyes, & they fuse, grab zoe & mia, then jump onto the boat.

Mae has them crawl thru the tunnels with ethan in front & her in back. Zoe asks why & mae says it's bc her & ethan r the only one w weapons & who've had food recently. Anyways they all escape safely bc i said so

resident evil 8/village

When the first shot rings out, zoe & mae press mia down, & mae bubbles mia & zoe and sends them to the temple, but can't prevent the capture of the baby, herself, or ethan. The agents pull out mae's gem & throw it far away or put it in a containment unit (or just use a device that disables both her gem & human sides), and((the following is to set up re village w avi & moon as ethan's companions)) she wakes up either at the carcrash site or at a gem settlement, maybe desperately sending word to avi & moon?? That, or she pinned a distress signal thingy to ethan, & avi & moon picked it up.

mae: ah, looks like someone was punched through a wall here. ethan: ...i'm afraid to ask, but why do you know what that looks like?mae: got punched thru a wall once. : D

Imma say mae saves the old shotgun dude & he books it (which she don't blame him for, bc zombies terrifying), but then she gets taken somewhere else & meets back up w ethan at the castle? And in the lil village itself, ethan meets avi & moon?

I was just thinking of like. Ethan coming back to castle dimitrescu post-game (i still haven't seen anything further than entering heisenberg's factory) & seeing lady d holding mae(who was like, insurance both to protect lady d's daughters & to ensure ethan wouldn't try to sneak around & kill them) up with one hand and brandishing her claws with the other & he's like "what the FUCK is going on you said she'd be SAFE--" & mae just blurts out "she's giving me top surgery!!!" in an attempt to break the tension They all never talk about it again😔

My brain has been stuck in the game for a solid 2 months now, I've had so many ideas for building, so it's nice to see you enjoy it too <3

And to be fair, I do use creative mode for some things in my singleplayer world (cuz I wanna skip to the good parts lol). But I think if the potion lab I build in the survival multiplayer I'm in was what I had made in that singleplayer, a sad Grian looking for weakness potions would be delighted to stumble upon it pffttt

I have 2 double chests of finished potions, huge nether wart field, endless water source, 5 brewing stands, a whole double chest of at least 3 of every potion ingredient, pre-prepared awkward potions, 3stacks of bottles, blaze rods for days, you name it and it's there

The only issue is that all weakness potions I have ready are turned into splash potions, cuz I've never really had the desire to chug them myself (besides that one time I tired to get the "have every potion effect on all at once" achievement xdd)

Ive been watching mcyt religiously for abt 2 yrs now (prior to that i had ZERO exposure to minecraft at all) and have joked before that its given me fucking minecraft shingles bc i never got my crafting vaccination as a kid. This thing has DESTROYED my braincells its just all minecraft blocks now, im obsessed

Ive also shamelessly used cheats in my first proper singleplayer world-- pretty much just to teleport to coords bc i get lost real easily and an hour of trying to navigate back with F3 is not my idea of a good time 😭😭😭😭 but with this new 1.20 singleplayer my plan is basically play on peaceful until i can get set up with a house and get a bit more practice with movement, then switch it to easy to practice killing mobs, then slowly ramp up the difficulty until i get to hard so i can cure zombie villagers. I watched p much the entirety of Pixlriffs' Survival Guide S2 around January after getting super sick and needed smth to entertain myself with, and now im following along with his S3 bc he is just the guy ever to me :] its taught me a lot abt the mechanics of minecraft which has been REALLY nice for a late learner 💀💀💀💀

How do you usually plan your builds??? I got myself a creative flatworld to make stuff in, but ive found that idea i had with taking a screenshot of the area and drawing on it has REALLY helped me put some concrete visuals to the ideas ive had which has been SUPER helpful. I just finished building the silhouette of my future lakehouse the other day (via the Pixlriffs stone method) so now im just messing around with block palettes to see how i wanna incorporate the cherry wood :] im super excited to build it for real in survival!!!!
