btw if any Arcane fans want to play a video game with a similar art style and worldbuilding that's not LoL I HIGHLY recommend the Dishonored series. It's art direction is insane and it has similar overall themes of politics, class, magic, and love in all forms

It's story (esp in the first game) isn't anywhere as strong as Arcane's writing is, but literally everything else pulls its weight so hard that it's difficult not to enjoy it

I’m thinking about writing my Jancy Titanic Au in fan fiction instead of a comic. I’ll do little comics for the scenes that I create myself. I’ll have to figure out how to format it though. Should it just be Nancy’s POV? Or should I do a back and forth perspective between the characters?

I don’t have an AO3 account yet so I’ll have to get on the wait list at some point. If I finish the first chapter before I get the invite, I’ll post it on my blog.

I should also note I’m quite new to writing fan fiction. I have written more comedic one shots in the past and have thought about starting some for other fandoms but I have never written one that will have multiple chapters (At least I’m in a creative writing class at my school so I have an understanding on how to write fiction, though fan fiction is its own genre).

help i just caught up with reading one piece(at chapter 1074) & fem!law is all that i have been thinking about for the past 34 hours

dios mío i would let fem!law stomp on me & do all types of nasty things to me freggrgjyhhnerg (seems like women who are full of tattoos, snappy attitude, good sense of style & pretty eyes is what makes my lesbian heart go crazy)

on the serious note i can’t fucking believe that bonney is kuma’s daughter & that it looks like kuma is going to have his backstory- cuz in chapter 1074 it appeared bonney is going through his memories(not telling why cuz i don’t wanna give to many spoilers)

but oh my god there a so many thing that i want to talk about what is going on with one piece currently

and so many things happening in the egghead arc & we are only like 20 chapters in?? i am not prepared about what is going to happen the next couple of chapters because of the whole thing happening with the revolutionary army- the fact that we are finding out more and more about the void century & about nika, the seraphim’s, etc). like shit my brain is going to explode.

Sometimes I’m reminded that in universe Chilchuck is an actually influential figure who like. Made huge advancements for his people and community. Like as in gave them rights and protections. And who is widely known by half-foots because of that. Like. He’s not just some guy.

Idk For some reason that just makes his role in canon really funny to me. Like this older, extremely important and accomplished figure is just willingly putting himself thru it for the sake of this random autistic 26 year old.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

there’s something sooo sickening about how dunmeshis whole energy is like sometimes something terrible and awful happens to you and it changes you forever and nothing can make you the person you were before but there’s still love and there’s still sharing a meal together and there’s still living

One of my favourite questions for figuring out a character’s motivations is which qualities they most fear being assigned to them. Are they afraid (consciously or unconsciously) of being seen as stupid? Ungrateful? Weak? Incompetent? Lazy? Cowardly? Intimidating? Like they actually care? etc.

It’s such a fun way to explore into who they are, why they do what they do, what they don’t do out of fear, and how they might be affected by the events of the story. And I love when characters have negative motivations—trying to avoid something (in this case, being seen a particular way) as much as they’re trying to achieve a goal.
