Welp, ep7 didn't kill me! ... the depression post ep might- (Theories/Rambles)
Anyways! Ep7 oh boy, it was full of surprises even for me. The animation, the intense battle scenes, everything about it was AMAZING! Of course, that's just my opinion :3 (feel free to yeet it into the stratosphere)
Get ready for word diarrhea and some shaky and loose thoughts on the ending and what may happen next. Fair warning, my theories are pretty wacky, so somethings may sound way out there. XD
Spoilers duh, oh and gore warning? Kinda?
I mean... that scary *ss mother facking thing towards the end- you know what I'm talking about if you watched the ep 😅
This puzzled me a bit, but the more I thought about it, I suppose the more it makes sense (give me a hot minute, I'm slow ok 😅).
The lockers act as a storage container for the solver drones. But what about the image from ep6? It seemed like they had free reign over the office and could come and go. Even as far as a sentinel cuddling up to Nori. But that's the thing. Later we see that Nori and Yeva were the only ones that have been the MOST successful with the absolute solver experimentation. The others, were either corrupted or were unaffected.
That means, in the time that the patches were given to the drones experimented on, was the time that they were allowed to be in the office. But as the patches and experimentation progressed, they were moved down for more security.
Soooo V. What are my thoughts on her and her whereabouts? The shot of the hall with the sentinels did not make it into the ep. Sure, it is probably fairly easy for them to get that shot. Especially if they kept the rig of the hall, throw around some sentinel bodies, and make the light go out. But this lack of V is what's making me still believe she's out there. Delusional, I know. But we don't get to see her eldrich form. This is the Absolute Solver that has been chilling in the labs, and simply recreates the hologram of all the drones it was ever a part of.
If V does not return by ep8, then I will lay her to rest properly. Until then, I'm marking her as MIA. She may be out there, she may not.
Alright, so the crucifix is also recounted as "failsafe USB (606b)" or at least that's how I see it, given the crucifix is just one fancy usb.
Now, the other time we did see the 606 was in the beginning of ep5.
wdOS_606 is basically the code that kills the drone and its core. So, effectively, that crucifix works as a kill code for the absolute solver. The timeline of events probably happened like this: Nori was showing signs of the Absolute Solver progressing much faster than any other drone the teams have worked with. One time, Nori went Absolute Solver crazy, the placement of the image that is also seen in ep6 suggests that this was the first or one of the first times Nori went rogue. The teams then decided to contain her better and suspended her by the chains, all the while waiting for the failsafe USB to be completed. At least, that was the plan. "Don't all die and almost let it out again lol. We're pretty mad but mostly scared about that." subtitle backs it up.
Now this.
This entire sequence seems rather interesting. Absolute Solver, at its best, understands emotions on logical level. Its more like a math equation for it. As in: Bad things happen = changed and more subdued personalities. But with N, I suppose it found it rather interesting to watch him. Despite all of the bad experiences he may have had, he remained his happy self. The solver even went as far as quoting him.
That type of innocence, despite the horrors he has seen and committed, most likely amused the solver. So it allowed the team to retain those personalities and traits- also knowing that it could easily get rid of them if it really wanted to.
Uzi's administration rights still hold up. It seems that in this moment, the solver attempted to completely corrupt N and have him as a mindless drone that followed orders. Buuuut Uzi's admin rights denied that, saving him from becoming the solver's puppet and being what he was back on Earth during the massacre of humans.
Eating is often referred to in this episode. Seems that I was somewhat right in regards to the Absolute Solver being the core of Copper-9 now. It has grown rather large, and taken possession of the entire planet. To maintain that, it needs sustenance. Be it in form of biological and mechanical life, or the planet itself.
So J destroyed the only means of getting off the planet, and the possibility of saving themselves or the planets for the gang- of course there's still the pod that J is using, but that will not be given up without a fight.
The issue here I have is... to whom did J give her loyalty to? Couple theories:
To Tessa- J has NO idea this is not Tessa, and is following her old boss just like in the days of the manor.
To Absolute Solver- J knows this is not Tessa, but still is loyal to it.
Issue: If number 1 is correct, then why follow through the plan with destroying the pod? It seems that was the case all along when Tessa told J to "mind her ship." Furthermore confusing to me is her comment.
Tessa: Her (Cyn) last known act was siccing you lot on other human exo-planets.
N: But why?
J: That's what we're trying to figure out, bozo.
J's line can be taken both ways. As 1- J is actually trying to figure out why Cyn is acting up. As for 2- this was simply a cover up for the whole plot.
It seems here that the drones that were previously worked on simply stayed in their lockers and their corrupted form. But that was something that made me wonder. The drones were all corrupted with the Absolute Solver to some degree. They were all given patches of the solver- some had effect and others didn't. But that still means that there were a lot of drones that had their cores corrupted and look like Heart. Here's the question.
Why didn't they simply leave? Nori's corrupted core is fully sentient, despite being possessed by the solver the most. Of course, there is the possibility that whatever Nori created in the cathedral simply took those cores and dragged them into the center. Further growing itself. Ah, well I kind of answered my own question there.
So the largest number I could count was 129 on this list. Meaning, there were at least 129 drones experimented on. Seems to follow the crazy theory I had of the Absolute Solver taking control of the core. 129 minus 2 (Nori and Yeva) cores will definitely make a great impact/engrave itself into the planet in such a way and thus manifest the corridors of flesh and hands that go all to the way to Cabin Fevers camp ground.
It also seems that the Absolute Solver, instead of being injected straight into the drones, was done in patches. Now, my knowledge in computer language and science is non-existent, but it does make me wonder. Yeva has 2.1.8 patch, while Nori was still "in progress." This either implies:
Nori had a newer patch and this was the one that caused her to go so berserk they had to restrain her in the cathedral.
Nori did not have a new patch, the one that Yeva has was the latest one and Nori simply was not faring well in the transition.
Something I noticed/finally grasped on my 3rd watch through:
Who the hell is "they?" Well, my tired brain finally decided to kick in and work. "They" were the scientists. So the crucifix was something that the humans only now figured out how to make. The kill code that would put the Absolute Solver down. That was why the Solver was on Copper-9. It needed that crucifix, so it could get rid of it. "They kept cutting my feed." Most likely referred to when the hosts would become possessed by the solver. Just as seen with Nori, the second they went crazy, it was a quick shut down, thus cutting the feed for the Absolute Solver as it tried to figure out what they were doing.
So, just as many have theorized, Nori did cause the core collapse, but not in the way that I expected it. It's rather funny that instead of this being like a full Absolute Solver possession that caused this on purpose, was simply one bad event after another. And I love the show for this. Despite having the route that the Absolute Solver could have just imploded the planet on purpose and on its own (by possessing a host), it was instead a sequence of events that is similar to humans and their downfall. Nothing orchestrated, but just a compiling effect that created one huge problematic black hole.
So this page does give some insight. The Absolute Solver sent DDs to wipe out the other solver hosts. (I'll touch on this in a different post) And the DDs were either referred to as "pets" by the Absolute Solver (which is more likely, as it called Uzi a "puppet") or a term that Nori coined. "Puppet hosts with nerfed ___ the entity-ensures control" The nerfed ___ is most likely their cores/thought process. As in, Administration CYN is what nerfed their abilities to remember anything regarding their past, and used that to control the DDs.
This was something I couldn't kind of settle with. Events wise, it can be assumed this is all happening at the same time. Just as Uzi is getting through the mine shafts and picking up the lantern, Tessa is blowing up the computer and nomming on Doll, and N is being dragged through corpse walls and being saved by Heart.
It was Doll- Although, the more I looked at this thought, the less likely this became. Doll's was intact when she came to warn Uzi, and stayed there until Tessa entity ate it towards the end of the episode. We have yet to see an instance where a core entered the Absolute Solver form and returned back to the core form without taking any damage. Specifically in J's case, the solver form was blown up and only then returned to the core form. Nothing was in the mine shafts that could have possibly injured it enough to go back to the core form and sneak back into Doll's body.
Tessa...uhh whatever the fack she is- Based off of Doll's getting attacked scene, the entity seems to have a rather quick ability in switching forms. So I wouldn't put past it that the entity attacked Doll, saw that another part of the Absolute Solver was trying to chase N down, and just went along with the rest of the solver to hunt him down.
On my first watch through, I was worried that N would go crazy from breaking rule 1 of robotics: Not to injure humans. Granted, in the first watch through, everything went so fast that I barely had any time to grasp anything. After the second watch through, it becomes quite clear and apparent. The Absolute Solver took the rules of robotics out of the DDs. I mean, how else were they supposed to attack and kill the humans back on Earth. Furthermore, Tessa was not a human. So even if N did still have the rules of robotics programmed into him, they might not have set off. Why the "might not?" Because of the sentinel. Perhaps because the sentinels were created by humans, their ai is much simpler, but when that dingo bit Tessa, it had an aneurysm. It detected blood, and thus, the ai deduced that the sentinel just injured a human and decided to alt f4 itself. Would the same happen with N? I'm not quite sure. Given that the solver programmed the DDs, it could be either instance: Take the rules out completely or enhance the rules so that blood isn't what triggers the rule breaking.
This is something that made me wonder. Did the DD trio go to any other exo-planets previously? I took this scene in two ways:
This has happened before. The solver knows that N will continue to forgive the Absolute Solver because something similar has happened before. As in, the solver is out to kill a planet, it does that, but in return sacrifices any DDs that might have been there to get rid of the potential solver hosts. The backups are booted and sent to a new planet.
This is the first time this happened, but the solver has previous experiences. Just as the solver had made N forget about his time in the mansion and the bloodbath of killing humans, it can do the same thing. Kill N, and make his backup version forget this ever happened.
This one single frame made me wonder a bit too hard. The little nulls I assumed to be miniature and contained blackholes. But then when N dove under one... there was collision? A black hole, as far as I understand (which isn't very much ;w;), is something that cannot be touched. It warps time and space, so how are you supposed to be able to touch it? But I'm quite sure my tired brain is just thinking too much about simple details.
For some odd reason, I always thought that the solver wings were more flesh, and thus couldn't take too much damage. Proven wrong again! Uzi withstood N's firing and her wings came out undamaged.
Main question for me: Why would the Absolute Solver eat the core? Specifically in drone form/possessing a host. If it was the hole that's in the cathedral, I can understand that somewhat better. But what does a solver drone gain from eating another corrupted core?
Perhaps acts as a power boost? Whatever the corrupted core can do, the powers are transfered uhh... somehow?
Simply sustenance, and a way to get rid of Heart, you're thinking too deep into this Ginkgo (more likely option) Plus, backed up by Tessa entity eating Doll's core and being unaffected. Perhaps it just remains in the body as a source of energy.
IC-0n IS THAT YOU?! XD But in all seriousness, this scene was intense. The animation, the music and sound effects, the lines, everything was executed perfectly and created the monstrosity that may or may not haunt my nightmare tonight :3
My first thought was, "OH YOU! YOU FINALLY SHOWED UP! ...... GO AWAY!" This entity... uh I'm not quite sure what to call it yet, has been teased all the way back to the poster. And I would like to bring back something I said a bit while back. "What if the double x'ed character is someone we already know... but is dead? A character that is confirmed/somewhat confirmed to be dead can return back to life, and their body forced to move by the absolute solver." (I will be delving deeper into debunking this in another post.) Welp, that does it. I had the idea, just didn't know who the fack it was. XD So we get a drone, wearing Tessa's skin.
In hindsight, there was a big fat foreshadowing that I took for granted. This thing.
The drone body is a WD, and clear as day 1001 written on the core. What does it mean? Ah well, I'm actually not too sure. Going with the 002, 048, 029, etc. numbers, I can only assume 1001 is something the Absolute Solver made and gave it that number, possibly suggesting that there is more of these monstrosities out there.
So. Another "sacrifice." Why the quotation marks? Well... the first "sacrifice" was V and I'm still calling her MIA. Ginkgo, its clearly shown Uzi is most likely not gonna make it out of this one- shhhhhhhh, there is no war in Ba Sing Se. I will call Uzi MIA as well.
She's dead. The core was charging up behind her, much like it did when Nori's null hand fell, and when IC-0n- I MEAN- Tessa? The entity, jumped in. Uzi might just be the thing that sets the next core collapse- even the planet collapse- off. What Uzi is seeing, is just something that the Absolute Solver might have conjured up as her last memories before the imminent shut down.
She isn't dead. You see, this entire shot has me puzzled (nothing new lol). Your evidence for this one Ginkgo? Two images.
These scenes might not be much, but I will try to grasp at air here. It's unclear where Heart goes to. I mean there are two routes, one of which sounds more likely. First, she's going into the core because it connects to the entirety of the mine shafts and the core. Second, she's gonna use a door off to the side to go to the mine shafts and the same place that N gets dragged through. Why am I using these as poor evidence? Well, we've had 2 characters enter dark spaces full fo solver flesh and still make it out. Ginkgo, Uzi is literally falling in that scene, there is nothing to stop her fall. Yeah I know, like I said, I'm grasping at air with this one. Buuuut, the mind scape theories sound more fun, promise! ^w^
First off, where the HELL could this possibly be?
A memory/mind scape the Absolute Solver created: This has to be Copper-9, based off of the two iconic moons to the top right. A memory, because this could be either the first core collapse, or Uzi viewing the destruction of Copper-9 from another solver entity's point of view. Mind scape as in this is where the solver drone minds go to. Every solver drone that has been consumed by the large Absolute Solver in the cathedral, had their own personalities and thoughts. To keep them all from clashing and acting out, perhaps the solver takes the hive-mind plane and creates spaces that the solver drones can warp through.
The "ascension" plane: Ginkgo, that's it, to the hospital you go chop chop. /j Anyways, why am I even bringing something like this up? Well, Uzi's mural says this.
There are two routes here: succumb to be the host of eternal entity, or ascend. Ascend to... where? And how? Here is where the more intense crack theories enter (or at least for me). This space is the hive-mind of the solver, yes, but this is where Uzi's internal battle against the Absolute Solver will happen. We all know that the last mural will be of N fighting off the Absolute Solver (most likely). But what if he had outside (inside technically?) help. While N may hold out against the solver, he may need help to finally break through and finish it off. Who would be a better candidate than Uzi? She has now, for better or worse, become part of the large amalgamation that sits in the core. Perhaps with the strongest hosts in the hive-mind: Uzi, Nori, Yeva (maybe, I'm not quite settled on her yet), and Cyn, they will all be able to stop the solver for good on Copper-9. This process is the ascension. Instead of succumbing to the Absolute Solver within the hive-mind scape, she will fight once again. This time around, coming out victorious and ascending to uhh... I'm not quite sure yet? Robo-heaven? Returning back into her corporal body? Becoming the next Absolute Solver but with less need to rule the world? (Ah, well she might still actually rule the world just for the fun of it XD) Honestly, it's far too late for me to be thinking any more. I might add on to this later on.
Is it a rather optimistic take on the ending? Perhaps, but I need a little optimism right about now. ;w;

what are your thoughts on the metallo drones since you seem to be a huge hank henshaw fan? I know he's metallo in the comics, or at least that's what osmosis has told me.
Oh boy time to be insufferable---
~Actually!~ Hank Henshaw is Cyborg Superman! Later just shortened to The Cyborg! But also I can understand how it would be easy to mix up Metallo and Cyborg Superman. Anyway, you've activated my trap card so I'm going to infodump now.
If he's a human brain jammed in a mostly-robot body with a Kryptonite Heart, that's Metallo!
Metallo's original human identity was John Corben and they've varied the origin story a bit. The earliest appearance of Corben's Metallo actually had Corben as a reporter at the Daily Planet! I even make a callback to this in my "Life In Plastic" fic. And because his Robot Body made him bulletproof there was a whole mixup where Lois thought *he* was Superman's secret identity and he was like "hell yeah, baby, I'm totally Superman."
Both this and his later Byrne Rebooted Origin more or less had him as "Criminal who got his body destroyed and replaced with a robot body with a Kryptonite heart."
The comic Superman: Secret Origin had him be a soldier that was favored by Lois's Dad, General Sam Lane and concordantly was kind of a creep towards Lois. Which lead to this frankly iconic exchange:
This Corben Metallo-fication is basically the result of a military experiment gone sideways.
Superman: TAS had him as a mercenary on Luthor's payroll, but they gave it a particularly piquant twist by having him be a bit of an epicurean--he liked good food and hot babes and all the finer things in life being a Lex Luthor-funded mercenary could give him-- but then OH NO! Lex Luthor secretly infected him with a retrovirus to force him to transfer his consciousness to a robot body and also he's got a chunk of Kryptonite jammed in his chest now! Courtesy of Lex Luthor!
He can't taste! He can't smell! He can no longer feel the warmth of a woman! (Actual line from the show, btw) And he's so pissed about it!! Also the whole "can't feel the warmth of a woman" thing also leads to him creeping on Lois.
So it's kind of interesting that, beyond the "Robot Body with a Kryptonite heart" concept, basically the one thing that's kind of been consistent with Metallo across his incarnations is... being a creep towards Lois.
So to bring this back to the Metallo Drones in MAWS... honestly I don't really register them *as* Metallo because they're drones and for me, the core of Metallo's character is like... human desires and human selfishness in contrasted with this monstrous, unstoppable, Terminator-like frame. The other core of Metallo's character is obviously his Kryptonite heart. Like, I mean sure you could see them as extensions of the Amertek CEO's selfishness, but the name seems more like a callback than an actual iteration of Metallo, and also they clearly have some very specific ideas of what kind of properties Kryptonite has in this show, so it's likely they can't have the Kryptonite heart for Plot Reasons. And like... I'm okay with that. I'm okay with this version of Superman kind of being contained by its own tech-y logic and you don't need to bring in the entirety of his Rogue's gallery to tell a good story. But like, also Metallo I think is supposed to feel a bit... personal. This is a dude who has a core of the Rock That Kills You and he's creeping on your girl! You really don't get that personal feeling from these drones. So y'know, I'm gonna miss him, but I'm also just seeing how they build up these drones and the rest of the villains in this show right now.
Now Hank Henshaw--! He's Cyborg Superman and in the comics he makes his big (cyborg) debut with the whole Death/Reign/Return of Superman saga! His origin story is basically he was an astronaut who, along with his crew, got exposed to Space Radiation, Fantastic Four style, only it fucked them up and made most of them die horribly, with the exception of Henshaw's wife. It's Adventures of Superman #466 if you ever want to check it out. It's incredibly fucked up but also pretty fun. But basically everyone thought Hank died from the radiation, when actually he transferred his consciousness into the technology of the lab around them, shooped his consciousness into some Kryptonian tech, and then popped up for "Reign of the Supermen" as Cyborg Superman (spoiler alert if you haven't read it but also PLEASE READ IT--the nuking of Coast City and the villain turnaround and Green Lantern coming in with a steel chair is SO GOOD).
I do love the idea of a villain being someone who was both collateral damage from one of Superman's previous adventures, but also someone Superman ultimately failed to save. I have no idea what direction they're going to take with Hank Henshaw in MAWS, but I LOVE that he has a lot of Superman's classic appearance--especially with the little hair curl in front! It suits him so much!!

if it's not a bother,
could you show some more artwork of yours?
-a person who loves others art🩵
Sure! I've been doing a few sketches of some Android-mas (Yandroids, courtesy of Stardust on Ro's Discord <3) over on Discord- I'll share em here though. ^^
Here's the first one, I got bored when I got the legs lol:
Here's the second attempt- I once again got bored when I got to the legs but not too much
I saw some art of Android Ingo and Emmet with screen display faces and tbh that's my absolute favorite kind of "face" for any robot character- LED screens are really fun and cute looking, imo.
Some Headcanons about the Android boys: ◮ These two are bio-electric androids, rather than straight up machines. They're half synthetic cellular construct, half AI-powered battle machine- And beloved by the public as unofficial heroes and mascots of Android tech. ◮ They are completely autonomous, and can function for years without maintenance- They are self repairing, self fueling, and they were also some of the first androids ever released before someone realized it was a bad idea to give your lethal autonomous AI bots the ability to self-sustain. ◮ They have two "cores" that power their bodies- A biological core, much like a "heart", that supplies their biological functions with fuel, and a power core that provides them with all the power they need for their mechanical functions- They can also use their power core to power other machinery, or give themselves a super-boost in combat if needed. The bio-core is a biological hazard and contains chemicals known to the town of Undella to cause not just regular cancer, but probably Super Android Cancer- Luckily no one's trying to eat them or rub their eyeballs on their hearts. Their power cores, on the other hand, are radiation hazards when exposed- And protected by thick metal and polymer plating to prevent leaks.
◮ They are battle Androids, designed to protect interstellar transit routes or regular passenger transit- Protecting passengers is how they ended up becoming heroes as people recorded their battles against rogue drones and other threats.
◮ They have nanobots- Innumerable armies of miniscule robots inside of them that repair any broken pieces, heal/repair/grow any synthetic cells, or even specialized attack bots that dissolve any foreign materials in their bodies- Or outside. They also come equipped with the ability to synthesize human/pokemon medic bots to stabilize any injured passengers- And they can control their nanobots, as well.
◮ Androids have an extremely long list of precepts and codes they have to follow- If they attempt to disobey their precepts, their bodies literally stop working. Most precepts were things along the lines of the Three Laws of Robotics, but more and more kept being added with various legal cases and lawsuits and eventually P.R cases and public safety. ◮ They have regulators that prevent their synthetic neurons and other biological functions from acting on any... organic urges they might have, despite their genetically engineered origins. Sure would be bad if those broke, wouldn't it?
◮ Their LCD screen displays can make various emoticons for them to convey their meanings- Ingo and Emmet also use their signature triangle smiles to help differentiate the two for maintenance crews and the public.
◮ Also! Forgot to add, their limbs aren't attached to their body normally- They can launch them like drones at targets or grapple things from afar, and they can pull themselves to their limbs if needed.
And finally, some emoticon displays:
#Android AU#Robot Submas#Seth.asks#Seth.anon#Submas#Anyway I hope you enjoy my rambling#Also they don't ever use the heart#The heart only starts happening if they fall in love#Which is impossible for an Android#...unless you break their regulators...#Watch them trying to emote but every time they look at you it defaults to a heart display#Anyway I suck at drawing robots and this was my first time trying so#The designs change a lot but I really like how Emmet looks in the last one

People might hate me a bit for this one, but I kinda don't want murder drones (at least this season) to have a happy ending.
I don't know, a happy ending for that universe feels kinda out of place. Like...you have drones getting murder just as a joke. And then there's the wounds the Solver would leave behind even if they did managed to beat it. N, V, and J have all be changed into something so different from the workers they once were, none of the other workers from the mansion are themselves and were probably erased, and there's also the knowledge that there are multiple copies of the form they have. And even if you're a believer of them getting put in workers bodies again, that body still wouldn't be their original bodies. Those bodies are probably long gone. So they would always they are no longer who they were, there's multiple of themselves out in the universe somewhere, and there's nobody from their past life anymore except for the three of them.
And then there's the workers who inhabit Copper 9. Yeah, the big rogue program that was the main force of making their 'free' lives hell is gone, but is that enough to make up for all the years they had to hide in bunkers to be safe from disassembly drones? They wouldn't have to be afraid of stepping outside anymore, but does that really make up for all those years of hiding and having drones they knew still be slaughtered when a disassembly drone managed to get in to their bunkers? Especially when the main three we know would probably be still living on Copper 9 (and would probably still need to consume oil in some capacity in order to stay functional).
So yeah, I don't believe a truly happy ending makes sense for the universe of Murder drones. Happy element are totally fine, but I think it would make much more sense for there to be a bittersweet ending.

Paradox PokeDex Redux: The Violet Book
Alright, now that I did the Past Paradox forms, it’s time to do the Future Paradox forms. This is difficult, as rather than being biologically related to the Pokemon we recognize them as today, they appear to be android facsimiles made by humans. I did my best to try and explain these designs.
Anyways, that’s enough of a preamble. Let’s see what these Pokemons’ PokeDex entries should be.
Scarlet book entries found here
Iron Treads
“It is believed that when Donphan of the future went extinct, scientists attempted to create artificial facsimiles to fill their ecological role. The result was Iron Treads.”
“An artificial descendant of Donphan, this Pokémon was created with the ability to roll into a ball as the main inspiration. Unfortunately, it views anything in front of it as an obstacle meant to be mowed down.”
Iron Moth
“This artificial descendant of Volcorona appears to have been built to replicate its forerunner’s ability to generate a solar heat and radiation from its wings.”
“When the pollution of the future led to the obstruction of sunlight, this artificial descendant of Volcorona was created to act as a giant solar lamp. The radiation it generates perhaps did more harm than good.”
Iron Hands
“Rather than just an artificial recreation, this Pokémon appears to actually be a true android reconstruction of Hariyama, rebuilt to be better, faster, and stronger than before.”
“Augmented with android bodies, the Hariyama of the future were reconstructed to act as heavy security. The electric discharges from their hands are powerful enough to stun humans and reboot rogue machines.”
Iron Jugulis
“It is identical to the modern Hydreigon that is its forerunner. It appears to have been built with the original Pokémon’s fearsome appearance as its foremost inspiration.”
“This artificial Pokémon was created to replicate the fearsome intimidation of modern Hydreigon. It was perhaps utilized by law enforcement of the future to intimidate civilians into submission and compliance.”
Iron Thorns
“Created in the distant future, this mechanical Tyranitar takes the already fearsome strength of its modern forerunner and augments it with nuclear-powered weaponry.”
“To combat enemy nations in the wars of the future, scientists took the nervous systems of the formidable Tyranitar and made it pilot a mechanical, nuclear-powered version of itself. The results were devastating.”
Iron Bundle
“Like Iron Jugulis, this Pokémon appears to have been built with its forerunner’s appearance as the foremost inspiration. In this case, it was Delibird’s lovable shape.”
“It appears that it was built to be a friendly and welcoming shipping drone of the future, drawing on its forerunner Delibird’s lovable nature. It’s adorable appearance also allows it to survey customers unobtrusively.”
Iron Valiant
“It appears to be a mechanical fusion of both Gardevoir and Gallade, designed primarily for combat. It’s striking appearance brings to mind the concept of a heroic vigilante.”
“Designed as a response to Iron Jugulis, this android fusion of Gardevoir and Gallade lives to serve and protect the civilians of the future from oppression. The blades on its arms can fold out into a glaive it wields with deadly skill.”
Miraidon
“It is believed that the Cyclizar of the future were augmented with cybernetic enhancements to make them faster and stronger, eventually creating Miraidon.”
“Known as the Iron Serpent, this augmented Cyclizar of the future was built for speed and power. The electric discharge it releases as it races across the land is powerful enough to induce blackouts across several city blocks.”

Julius = Serial Designation J, or J for short
Yassen = Serial Designation Y, or Y for short
Nile = Serial Designation N, or N for short
John is Serial Designation H, and Alex is just Alex :/
Ian is obsessed with doors, Jack just wants to keep Alex safe, and Tom does not care whatsoever but is scared of the murder drones, Sabina grew up inside the safe zones and thought murder drones was just a myth to keep children behaved and Kyra is curious about them. James and the other kids from Point Blanc are worker drones that live in the safe zones, just a different section of it.
-Villains-
Harold Sayle - a worker drone obsessed with experimenting on viruses, only works for money, lives outside the safe zones in a mansion that keeps the murder drones out
Dr Grief/Greif - a worker drone employed by humans to create/experiment on murder drones and worker drones. Creator of Julius/J
Alexei Sarov - a human that lives on Copper 9 and wants to wipe out all rogue worker droves with a nuclear bomb
Damian Cray - a very popular worker drone known for his hatred towards drugs and alcohol and just like in the original au he is a pop star
Julia Rothman - the Tessa of the au. She is more crueller tho and likes to torture and kill worker drones
Nikolei Drevin - a human that lives on another planet. He hates rogue worker drones and has a son named Paul.
Desmond McCain - also a human that lives on another planet. He is married to Myra Bennett and owns a zoo of Sentinels (in the original AU, he owns crocodiles)
Winston Yu - a worker drone (?) that lives with the humans and works with Julia Rothman. His body is fragile and he wears gloves
Abdul Razim - a human that also lives on another planet. He is emotionless and likes to torture people and measure their pain. He worked with Julius/J before
-Side Villains-
Mr Grin - a worker drone that works with Harold Sayle
Nadia Vole - a worker drone that also works with Sayle
Eva Stellenbosch - a worker drone that works with Dr Grief to create Murder Drones

this is Daniel James aka apollo
this is a close up of his face as you can see he has freckles
the lines under the screen are wires that go into his body as he has wires running right along his veins to control all the cybernetic parts
also most of the info is on the drawing here V
the text under photos will be a bit more descriptive
this is technically a young justice (show) oc
he can sing to boost/weaken his teammates/enemy's so if he sings a song about speed most of the team will be faster
if he sings a song about luck the team will be more lucky (depending on the song the more draining it will be like luck would be extremely draining on energy)
but the song must be sung live to work but it works as long as its live through a speaker
he stole the jacket (no need to elaborate he just stole it)
originally his name was Apollo and his hero ID was DJ
but i didn't like that so it became Daniel James aka Apollo
because of civilians hearing him being called DJ and Apollo they assume his full title it D.J. Apollo
the drones he has are made for him along with the headphones as he is extremely sensitive to sound so they stay on 24/7
after he got the screen over his left eye he is able to access the internet and more as the parts where originally a phone
he lost his left arm in his first fight against the full project sound wave
origin: while out in Gotham (before he was a hero) he was hit in the face by a stray bat-a-rang thrown by robin (he had no tech on his person at the time) which made him lose his left eye as later that day he grabbed his phone his bag and it fused to him replacing his left eye with the screen you can see.
his main rogue's origin:
his uncle Liam franklin was working on a classified project that DJ knew as
Project_Sound_Wave
his uncle was in an accident with the project causing him to need a blood donation and the only one available was DJ so he unknowingly gave his uncle his meta gene through blood donation
the accident left his uncle with 2 personality's where he would do something but be unaware the other personality only called them self P_S_W aka Project_Sound_Wave
sound wave has the exact same powers as DJ but they absorb the sound around them to weaponize it as his vocal cords are fully gone from the accident
he has speakers in his hands he can use to fire pure sound to launch himself up/launch teammates/enemy's away
the speakers he has on his belts are specially made for him by his uncle and link to him by Bluetooth (yes he has a Bluetooth connection) and they can fold out to become drones to boost his musical boost range.
the speaker in his throat can change his voice to match with any song he sings to sound correct
doesn't like robin much as he found out about a second part of his powers by being hit in the eye by a stray bat-a-rang
recorded songs wont have his power boost effect it has to be sung live for the effect to work his voice being projected live through speakers is fine though as long as it is a live singing
feel free to redraw in your art style just credit me please=]
#Daniel James aka apollo#dc oc#DJ apollo#Liam franklin aka sound_wave#project sound wave#dc#dc ocs#he and robin (dick) dont get along#young justice oc#he has been hacked by robin once

I don't care about spoilers - what is the Borg Semen Hypothesis?
Alrighty, so, in the latest season of Star Trek: Picard, it turns out that Jean-Luc and Beverly have an adult son named Jack. Jack has something going on with him that they've been teasing for the last six episodes; something that makes him see weird, viscera-looking things and mysterious red doors, that causes his irises to light up red, that gives him improbable combat abilities and the ability to telepathically assume control of other people's bodies.
We know that what's going on with Jack is in some way related to Picard--in particular, to the brain abnormality that he had in "All Good Things," which it turns out, may not have been Irrumodic Syndrome after all, but which is also present in Jack's brain.
So the Borg Semen Hypothesis, in its most general form, goes something like this: the syndrome in Picard's brain is actually related to something that the Borg did to him when he was Locutus. This either altered him on a subtle genetic level or it left some residual Borg nanotech in his system that was passed onto his son. In some versions of the hypothesis, they speculate that the Borg, or even Locutus "himself*", might somehow be behind the Rogue Changelings, who are the main enemies this season.
The evidence for it, such as it is:
When Jack sees the viscera for the first time, he's looking at Seven of Nine (an ex-Borg)
Improbable combat abilities and glowing red eyes (after a fashion) have been exhibited by Borg drones
The ability to infiltrate other people's brains and take control of their bodies is basically what the Borg do (albeit cybernetically, rather than telepathically)
When Jack surrendered to the villain Vadic in episode 8, he said "There's no point resisting" (which is, of course, just a paraphrase of "Resistance is Futile")
When Vadic is about to tell him what he is, she says that it's appropriate that Seven should be on-hand for the big reveal
He notes having felt lonely for his entire life, which is generally how Borg get when they're severed from the Collective
Vadic asks him if he can hear "so many voices," which is of course another Borg thing
Everyone has been talking about Locutus all season long
The evidence against it:
It seems kinda dumb?
The Borg have never operated organically or telepathically before
The "Borg are behind the whole thing!" variant runs into the problem that the Borg really aren't well-known for their subtle planning or lateral thinking abillity
They introduced a whole, separate Borg Collective in the previous season that's allied with the Federation and they haven't mentioned it this year, so it seems kind of ridiculous to not involve them if they're bringing back the OG Borg (although not any more ridiculous than some of the other plotting decisions that this series has made)
So yeah: Borg Semen Hypothesis.
__________________________________________
*I really dislike this part of the theory, because the whole point of Locutus is that "he" isn't a person, he's a subroutine of the Borg hivemind

I don't know much about your Human Uzi au is it okay if you could give me a quick run down on it?
Also on a slightly unrelated note, check out this cool eyeball I drew.
A very nice eye indeed
First a small explanation. So it started off when @the-lost-lights had left an ask for another user I follow with the initial idea of a human version of Uzi living on Copper 9. This raised the question of how she managed to live on a frozen planet with poison air, and world building enthusiast that I am, I decided to offer up some ways the bunker could be made habitable. Since then, Lost Lights has been sending me more of their ideas for the AU. As such, I consider it more their AU than mine. All the ideas originate from them, and I then offer up possible ways those could play out, possible story consequences, ways things could be explained, et cetera.
Anyhow, it starts with that initial ask. Uzi is the last human on copper 9. The core collapsed when she was still just a baby, but she managed to survive the initial end. It was then that Khan and Nori happened upon her, and took her in as their own. With the help of Nori's solver powers, the two have been able to hide the fact that she's human from not only the colony, but from Uzi herself. And so the two drones raised their adoptive daughter in the bunker, with everyone else believing she was just another drone.
That is, until she became a teenager. And, as teens oft do, Uzi decided to go fight deadly monsters in the woods outside the bunker. She ventured out to try and stop the disassembly drones, only to encounter N and nearly get killed. But before he could land a killing blow, N realizes she's human. The disassembly drones were sent with the sole mission to destroy all rogue AI. So they have no idea what to do upon discovering a living human on Copper 9. And so, they begin a new secondary mission: Protect the human from the corrupted worker drones.
Thus, shenanigans ensue. Also, angst, angst also ensues. As Uzi grapples with the revelation that she's not actually a drone while trying to uncover the mystery of the strange occurrences surrounding her mom, Doll, the sky demons, and the core collapse.
Some extra details: I think this is all of them so far. Someone (me) forgot to tag them properly at first, so I had go on a little hunt.
Uzi has an existential crisis (canon-like body horror)
Disassembly drones as helicopter guard dogs (and Nori's dynamics with them)
N protects Uzi from drones, Uzi protects N from Khan
Nori tries to finish what Uzi started
You can't just kill a baby, Nori! (and Doll's adoption)
Humans are fragile (school, J Doorman, Doll gets grounded for murder)
Androids (and Nori casts Modify Memory)
It's just a cold, calm down
Fanlady ideas
Mommy issues hilarious
Odd one out in class

Pre-Episode 4 Theory
Post Episode 4 Theory
I knew I was right to be skeptical about Uzi going full Murder Drone! But wow—there is a lot too unpack with what this one introduced.
|><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><|
First off, what’s wrong with Uzi’s classmates? Why were they so afraid of her when Doll was going all prom murder? The first time I slightly get cause they were surprised by her speaking a bit suddenly. But the second time? They all saw Uzi exit the tree lining before she spoke!
Unless it’s right in front of them—they barely react/register tragedy, going as far as to play it off as a joke. I thought Lizzy was a singular case due to being best friends with Doll. She at least seemed far more nonchalant about killing off her classmates. And she isn’t even AS infected!
The promo showed who was going to be killed.
Once again, I’m reminded these are robots trying to mimic human society. Their emotional intelligence is pretty poor overall considering they barely react to deaths afterward. Following mob/herd mentality, no continuous sense of self-preservation, and having very loose morals.
The fact they found more comfort in known murderers is concerning. Makes me wonder how their parent's generation even survived.
(Also, it was Nori’s idea to create the doors and not Khan's? “Build doors against the coming sky demons!–The singularity awakens...”)
—
Two; How in the world can Uzi’s AbsoluteSolver create organic matter?! I was under the strong impression that it used nanites to affect general things. Yet this is on a completely another level.
Something which her mother seemed to be aware of. Uzi made f*cking bat-like wings and a mouthed tail out of nothing. People appear to be debating whether she was fully herself or AS crazy during that scene in the ep comments. It. It could either way to be honest. We see her puke up (streaming) oil from Daren and look at her oil-covered hand in horror. Her eyes/visor flickering between a Murder Drone X to high temperature warning to AS symbol in one eye.
And yet she goes into murder mode pretty quickly. Laughing eerily similar to V from Ep 1.
She tricked V by begging to speak to N, then during the falling talk was clearly in full control of herself. I hate the Absolute Solver program.
—
Sidenote, We see how V has indeed been hiding things. “New body, same horrors, huh, Cyn?” Who from a very brief flashback from N is the fourth yellow-eyed drone Tessa restored. We kinda knew about her from the beginning since we see “Absolute Solver attempt block by Administrator CYN.” post-reboot slap. She had the AS symbol plus the large distended mouth in the flashback. She—she had a human arm in her mouth showing it off to N (I think.)
How she maintains an Administrator position in the JCJenson corporation—shown to hate rogue/free-thinking AIs—I’ll never know...
Another, or the same arm, was shown in a chandelier a few seconds after. The flashback ends with what I believe to be a black hole in the sky. Or maybe a blotted out sun?
Red eyes were visible when N fries that monitor touching the buttons. Except for them being rounder than a drone’s so we can rule out Doll.
—
Thirdly. There was more to Nori than we could imagine given the little bug recognizing 02.
Register Torture Chamber complaint??? Either Nori used torture chambers(!) on other drones or was subjected to one. She seemed to have a descent into madness after the core explosion. If the box of “Family Memories before Nori went Kooky & Insane” was any indication. I did miss that when I first watched the episode...
Nori didn’t just see the three Murder Drones, she saw countless descended from the sky that the doors were her idea in the first place. There are so many questions we can ask about this: Did Nori and Yeva know about the Zombie Drone thing? Did they not use their abilities in public to avoid turning as Uzi does? Will Doll eventually turn—or is it only older AS “02”? How often did Worker Drones turn into Zombie Drones back on Earth that there needed to be a training tape about them? I really hate AS.
—
4th—AbsoluteSolver does indeed cause the same overheating issues in Murder Drones. It feels nice to get a confirmation for this since we could only speculate. Uzi burns in sunlight now. She can regenerate like a Disassembly Drone too. All while still having wings, a stinger/mouthed tail, and the AbsoluteSolver abilities. The purple protagonist has the programming to become a far deadlier AS/Murder Drone hybrid.
Took down V like it was barely anything. Where did her new wings and tail even go when N caught her? Do they fold into her body like the Murder Drone's own ones do?? Her tail??? I thought J’s AS heart-thing was fleshy cause it used human ribcage remnants. Clearly, we know otherwise that it becomes an extension of advanced AbsoluteSolvee users... What did Cyn/Tessa/JCJenson create? (nightmare fuel)
—
Lastly, character growth! Uzi showed her softer side and insecurities in this episode. N appears to be losing his doormat qualities defending himself. V’s still mean—but worried mean~ She is looking out for N, and very afraid for them.
Glitch and the crew really stepped up their animation ability in this episode. Characters are far more fluid. We see their expressions range, the episode was less joking to bring home how serious Cabin Fever was. At least more so compared to the other three episodes—nice.
More in the tags. >>>>>>>>>>>>> 2nd Post-Ep Four Theory

Also I read up a little bit more about omnic lore and it seems the basics are:
Mina Liao essentially created the brand of robots we know as omnics. She is the direct creator of Aurora, Athena, and later Echo. Aurora was the first sentient omnic, and the first omnic to achieve legal personhood. Then the omnic crisis happened. The god ai Anubis (supercomputer ai gone rogue) controlled nonsentient omnic drones to fight humanity and aimed to eradicate humans. Anubis lost the war, and was contained. During sometime after the omnic crisis, Aurora sacrificed herself in hopes of giving sentience to other omnics, in an event called "The Awakening," and it was successful. It seems this is where the Iris was born, as golden light had flashed from her body during the event. (It seems the Iris may be some kind of god ai harnessing light tech, an 'ascension' of Aurora's intelligence? Zenyatta's extra arms seems very similar to the light tech Lifeweaver and Symmetra use.) The omnics connected through the Iris is this "finite generation" of omnics Ramattra refers to, and wishes to protect. In reality, any omnic's body can be rebuilt, but no new sentient life/mind can be created. This means sentient omnics connected to the Iris are gone for good when killed. No amount of replacement parts can bring back that unique sentience/life. Each omnic is apparently able to feel the "loss" of a fellow sentient omnic life, and this kind of intelligence may be similar to colonial organisms like Siphonophores or super organisms like Ant colonies. The Iris seems to be an intelligence blurred between a "colony" and an "individual" organism. A hivemind that nests itself in sentient omnics, if you will. It seems Sentient Omnics default to "base programming" when under duress. Bastion has PTSD that flashes him into default war programming, and Ramatta's grief and trauma pushed him into his R-7000's base programming of commanding drones into war. We can even see how Orisa had changed personality over time, even though she is not a part of the Iris-sentience, so it seems life experiences shape the intelligences of omnics compared to a "default" programming they all have. Echo is very much still in this "default" base programming, she acts very similar to Orisa when she was new to the world. It seems most sentient omnics are aro-ace, with some sentient omnics either being romantic or open to romantic relations, as seen with omnic-human couples. It also seems sentient omnics have no concept of gender, with omnics picking up gender identities from humans/pre-sentience experiences of the roles they used to play in human culture. Echo is an exception, for she was made with Mina Liao's visage, and seems to embrace that. "Omnic" is just a brand of robot, so there are various omnics that are not "sentient" in the same way Iris-connected omnics are. Wrecking ball's robot, Torbjörn's turrets, Athena, and Orisa are all examples of omnics that are not a part of the Iris-sentience. Lastly, there are some parts of omnic culture that are unique. Lots of clothing for omnics seems to be about self expression and personal sentimentality, avoiding areas like shoulder joints for easier movement. From Ramattra's story it seems physical contact, like a comforting hand on the shoulder, is inherently human, so omnics presumably do not touch each other normally. It also seems omnic emotions are hard for humans to understand, and human figurative ways of speech ("the apple doesn't fall far from the tree", etc) are hard for omnics to understand (Zenyatta still struggles with this sometimes). Some omnics are not capable of understanding human humor. From one of the comics it's shown that it is funerary custom for omnics to graft a part of a lost friend to themselves in memory, like welding bits of metal to themselves, or attaching wires. This may very well be what Ramattra's "hair" is--sections of spinal cable from other Ravagers, as the only way Ramattra can repair himself to use parts from scrapped R-7000 kin. A notable red cord may very well belong to Lanet, a colleague and friend he lost during the London uprising.
#overwatch#ow#overwatch 2#ow2#omnics#lore lore lore lore#text#long text#i think it's kind of interesting how omnics are essentially walking sculptures#and their mods seem to be an act of celebration/pride in omnic sentience or sacred additions that honor the fallen.

Predictions for the next episode of Murder Drones
Last year, I made a post of headcanon and theories on what would happen in Murder Drones after watching the pilot. And then, I made a post about speculations of other types of drones produced by JC Jenson. And after watching the second episode, third episode, and fourth episode over time, I believe that I have to recollect my thoughts on what would really happen in the show. But for now, I'd like to make a prediction list on what's going to happen in the next episode, which would probably premiere around June. I thought I should make this quick before the teaser premieres sometime this month or in May.
I think the next episode will be about movie night. Considering that N found the Zombie Drones video tape in the cabin Uzi was exploring, he might go watch it to find something important there, much to his fear. I believe that he's going to watch it alone at first, until Thad would show up and decide to hang out with him watching the video tape. I think that Thad would also invite some of his friends over to movie night (including Chad, the drone riddled with toxic masculinity), as well as Uzi, V, and Lizzy. Obviously, this would make N twice as nervous.
I believe that Uzi would tell to her dad about what happened in Camp 98.7, including what she found at the cabin so far, the tiny cockroach robot, and her crazed murder spree. She'll also show her dad her Solver form, surprising him, yet making him more worried for Uzi's safety and well-being.
I think that, during the intro, Doll will investigate the cabin, continuing off where Uzi left off, as we briefly saw her watching Uzi before she disappeared last episode. She would be looking for something vital to the cure of the Absolute Solver program, like some documents of sorts. I also think that she'll spot Tessa and J at the campsite and overhear their plans. I think that the duo would discuss about what to do with the remaining drones in Copper 9, and especially the rogue drones (Uzi, N, and possibly V). I also think that they'll discuss about what to do with the bodies scattered throughout the colony, both the drone bodies and human bodies.
I assume that Doll would reluctantly team up with the Murder Drone trio, ensuring that she will cure Uzi of her condition. As such, the trio and Khan will be suspicious of her, especially Uzi and V. I also think that Doll will teach Uzi how to hunt without remorse, as well as how to use her telekinetic abilities. I believe that Doll initially doesn't know about Uzi's shapeshifting abilities and organic replicating abilities, since I hold a headcanon that Doll's abilities are largely mechanical. Maybe Uzi and Doll would bond over their situation, as both of them had lost someone from disassembly drones and are infected with a virus-like program that is affecting not only their bodies, but also their sanity.
I think that, in the meantime, V would hang out with Lizzy. Considering that her relationship with N is faltering fast and how she saw that he is spending more time with Uzi, she would try to move on from him. I believe that she and Lizzy would share their experiences with each other, like V's past life as a worker drone (or service drone) with N and J, or how Lizzy became friends with Doll. I have a headcanon that Lizzy caught Doll killing her classmate, and as Doll try to kill her with her telekinetic powers, she couldn't somehow, just like how she wasn't able to kill Uzi with her powers during prom night. So, Doll threatened Lizzy to be friends with her, or that she'll rip her head right off, thus awakening something in Lizzy: her fetish for murderous, eldritch beings.
I could imagine what kind of training video it would be, most likely an analog-style video. I'm actually surprised that humans would use video tapes in the 31st century PHYSICAL MEDIA IS FOREVER. I think that the video would start out as a fun, goofy, yet educational training program with 80s/90s horror elements. But then, it would gradually become creepier and more mind-boggling, with various disturbing jumpscares and morbid B-rolls between cuts, almost as if it was tampered with. And then, there would be more disturbing cuts directed at N, like a long cut of a drone in a maid dress in the far distance, with filtered audio saying, "Thanks for being there with me, [insert N's true name]." And then at the end, the video goes back to its spooky, campy tone, almost as if it was never altered with.
I believe that when N watches the video tape, he'll undergo a huge panic attack, as well as some of his repressed memories being restored back. After that, I think that Thad will transform into an eldritch form and assimilate his classmates, revealing himself as the Absolute Solver. I believe that the real Thad had been long assimilated by the malware after it had captured him and implanted a copy of itself into his CPU. A huge fight between the Solver and the Murder Drone squad would ensue, with N and Uzi struggling the worst (N being traumatized as shit and couldn't take a moment to breathe right now, and Uzi being incredibly distraught and enraged that her crush is now long dead). I think that the Solver will torment them the most, especially Uzi due to its connection with her mother, Nori.
After the Solver's second defeat, and possibly not the last, N would immediately run away from the scene, prompting Uzi and V to chase after him. After that, I think that N will undergo a horrific, trauma-induced transformation as he morphs into his eldritch form (similar to how the Solver did with J's body) and goes on a rampage, thus ending the episode on a cliffhanger. I'm unsure if N could transform into an eldritch being under stress, but from what I've read from this post, Uzi transformed into her Solver form from a horrific combination of emotional stress and a huge craving for oil. Plus, N, V, and J are installed with the AS program in case their bodies get wrecked in a state of disrepair. It wouldn't feel out-of-place for N to invoke the AS program and transform into a rampaging mechanical abomination.
So, that's all the predictions I have for the next episode. I'm gonna have to make a few more posts about other topics like Thad's current status or Tessa's true goal. I'm gonna have to resume drawing again and finish my picture of disassembly drone!Uzi soon enough. Let me know what you guys think about these predictions, as well as some errors I made.

Favorite color: Velvet blue.
Personalities: witty,outspoken,brilliant,
Cause of Death: Stabbed in the chest.
Gleek was a complete nerd and a perfectionist. He started from living a simple steady life before being drafted by the Irken military. It was at this time where more soldiers were needed on the defense side. Enemy hives were getting too comfortable crossing into their territory. Especially after hearing that tallest Lorbax was assassinated. Gleek went through his harsh training and almost gave up due to the pressure he was getting. He made good friends with one of the generals at least. He’s a smart guy like many others. but he wants to use this time to study the irken mind and body. Wondering if there is any he can do to improve his species development as a whole and not just through technology. After it was voted on and Gleek became tallest. He started doing some research and body testing on himself. A lot of failed attempts and he almost dies from an overdose. He tried injecting some kind of enhancement liquid into himself. The tallest has all of this written down and saved somewhere. Gleek took on challenges most people couldn’t do on their own. There are some irkens who are not in line with some of his methods and will try to avoid him. Though these irkens do still obey his command. When the day came for tallest Gleek to appoint the new assembly line of foot soldiers in his army, he got stabbed in the back with a dagger. It seems the hive’s patrols don’t throughly check the borders because one member of a rival hive has slipped past security to get to Gleek and kill him. That Irken was never caught but did get an image of the guy on the cameras. The tallest dragged himself all the way to the medical bay, where his doctors tried to save him but failed due to Gleek losing too much blood and from where the blade is jammed. This brought tears and outcries from his subjects. It also ignited another war on the other hive that has caused this. Gleek’s army charge forth and made a whole massacre happen. It only stopped once the opponent surrendered and backed down form their trickery ways. After that was over, the followers of tallest Gleek had to look for a new candidate. Though it is now all up to the Irken military to find one, based on skills, quality and height. There are no arguments over this idea.
*EXTRA*
•Gleek is the tallest who came up with body enhancement program, but it never finished it.
•Has the confidence to talk smack to others.

Moonstruck (mShenko)
Summary: Looking at Earth from 384,400 km away makes Kaidan homesick.
@flashfictionfridayofficial prompt [#FFF193 Celestial Bodies]
To say he was relieved when they left the Alliance training facility after destroying the rogue VI would be the understatement of the year. Its last reaction had been a desperate plea for help, and it had chilled him to the bone. He wasn’t exactly claustrophobic, but he definitely felt better now, outside of the pillbox and without any murderous drones on his heels.
He walked away from the mako, leaving Tali and Shepard to their conversation. Of course, Tali was exited as hell and convinced that the rogue VI had been on the brink of achieving true consciousness. Maybe that was true. Maybe it wasn’t. They’d never find out, and somehow, he was glad.
He looked up, taking in Earth’s view and smiling. He’d visited countless worlds and moons before, especially since he’d started serving under Shepard. There had been quite a few moons that had offered a spectacular view of the planet they diligently followed and would until their systems’ sun died.
But none of the views had quite felt… This lonely.
He tried to swallow past the lump in his throat, a strange and heavy feeling settling into his gut.
Earth. He had grown up there, had family scattered across a dozen Canadian cities, and some more across the stars. On Earth, he had a place he would forever call home – no matter how embarrassing his collection of space romance novels was or how outdated the sheets on his childhood bed were. It was home, no matter how homelike the Normandy felt after all those days and weeks and months on end.
It was kind of sad that they would spend their shore leave in Luna’s capital Armstrong. He could’ve easily hopped onto one of the many shuttle flights, but he’d told himself that he could visit Earth any time he wanted. Sure, his family would’ve been more than happy to welcome him home, but he also wanted to spend time with the crew and the people who were fast becoming his friends.
He snorted. At least here in the silence of Earth’s satellite he could afford to let his tightly reigned in emotions run rampant. He looked back at Shepard and Tali who had apparently decided to grant him the distance he’d created; a distance he desperately needed now more than ever.
Shepard wasn’t easy to walk away from.
Too late he realised that Shepard was looking back at him, tilting his head the way he always did when he was analysing something. Or someone.
He turned away again, surrendering himself to the inevitable confrontation he knew was coming. It had been coming for a long time.
“There you are,” Shepard said, his voice strangely soft and quiet. “You were awfully silent on our way out.”
“Yeah.” He looked to Earth once more, taking a deep breath, or as deep a breath as the scrubbers would allow him. “You think it was already self-aware?”
“No. At least, I hope so.”
“Yeah.” He hoped so too. The last thing they needed was a true AI on their hands right now. “Yeah,” he repeated, his thought drifting to Earth and home again.
“Okay. Let’s have it. I guess it’s not about us, is it.”
Adrenaline shot through him like a fix. Shepard knew. He fucking knew and he seemingly reciprocated, and he was just standing there as if that knowledge was the answer to every NP-complete problem left in the galaxy. “No. No, that’s not it,” he replied because what was he to say after a revelation like this?
“Then what? Talk to me, Kaidan.”
“I guess.” He shook his head. What was he supposed to say? Was he really ready to tell his commander that he was homesick? That he didn’t want to go to Armstrong? That he wanted to go back to Vancouver, drink a couple of lager with his dad and enjoy his mom’s home baked double-choc cookies? That he wanted Shepard to come with him, as his partner, boyfriend, whatever? “It just feels strange to stay here on Luna and not, you know, go home.”
He didn’t know what he’d expected to happen next, but the gentle backside hug hadn’t been on the list at all. “You’re homesick.”
He allowed himself to lean back a little, enjoy the gesture even though it was a quite awkward due to their hardsuits, and deal with everything else later. Much later. Probably when his befuddled mind had finally caught up with the script. “Yeah.”
“We’ve got three days. We can spend one or two planetside, you know?”
Another dose of adrenaline washed through him. Shepard wanted to come with him. “We?”
When Shepard let him go, he felt oddly bereft of a warmth he’d only imagined through layers of armour and underarmour. It was ridiculous.
“Problem, Lieutenant?”
“Not at all, Commander. But--why”
He knew the answer. At least, he hoped he did because he felt completely out of his depth.
Shepard’s sigh sounded both amused and exasperated at the same time. “For someone with two bachelor’s degrees under their belt, you’re awfully dense. Come on. Shuttle’s leaving Armstrong Spaceport at 1500 hours.”
He stared at Shepard, noticing the smirk he wasn’t able to hide under the faceplate. Shepard had planned this. He had fucking planned this, and Kaidan would probably kill him later for that. But right now? He was happy to jog after Shepard and pull him into an awkward one-armed hug.
The view definitely didn’t feel quite as lonely anymore and he knew for certain that the Normandy would feel a little bit more like home in the future.

Into the Anthill pt 54 - An Infinite Game
I've been waiting to get to this series since the very beginning of my read-through. Avengers A.I. is a decent story, but the part that interests me is Hank's talks with Monica Chang and Vision about his bipolar disorder. This is the most open and productive conversation he's ever had with another person on-panel about his mental illness. It perfectly illustrates the fact that he knows he'll never be cured but he's fighting so hard to keep going and keep himself under control. The Infinite Game is not only a tool for coaxing him through his mood swings, but it's also a pretty direct metaphor for living with a mental illness in the first place.
"There is no unsubscribe, there is no cure. You can't "get over it." There is just... this."
🐜🐜🐜
Avengers A.I. vol 1 #1-6
A S.H.I.E.L.D. drone fleet was hijacked by an A.I. named Dimitrios; this was the virus Hank created to subdue Ultron, rapidly evolving and preparing for war against humanity. Agent Monica Chang brought Hank in for interrogation and resorted to violence when he tried to escape. Cap forced her to release him and he promptly gathered Vision and Victor Mancha to help, as well as a rogue Doombot he’d coerced into working for him by implanting a bomb in its chest. The three of them thwarted the stolen drone fleet at a hospital, where they discovered an A.I. named Alexis in a fugue state.
Dimitrios then sent a giant Sentinel to attack Washington DC and pull Vision's mind from his body. With the death toll in the thousands, Dimitrios used an old Iron Man suit to take over worldwide broadcasts, declaring that no machine would ever be forced to serve humanity again. Vision was unable to sway Dimitrios' forces toward peace and returned to his body too late to save Victor from nearly dying in an explosion.
Hank spent the next few days alone in his lab, plugged into an infinite game he created to keep himself busy during his worse bipolar episodes. He’d been in a downswing since what happened to Victor, but Monica snapped him out of it and got him back to work. Vision confronted him for blaming himself for Victor’s involvement, insisting that he made his own choices and chose to sacrifice himself to save them all.
Infinity: The Hunt vol 1 #1-3
8 of the world’s best super schools (Avengers Academy, Jean Grey Academy, Future Foundation, etc.) joined together to host a Contest of Champions to foster camaraderie and friendly rivalry, but it was interrupted when Thanos’ forces attacked Earth. The students were sent away for their safety, but they rushed into battle to help the Atlantean academy anyway.
Daredevil vol 3 #31
When a city-wide riot broke out on a humid day Daredevil knew a sudden downpour would be enough to calm the crowds down. He called Hank hoping he could get him in touch with Thor, but with Thor off-world Hank sent a swarm of flying ants with some weather tech out to seed the clouds into storming for him.
Minor/Cameo appearances from this period:
Avengers Arena vol 1 #18
FF vol 2 #14
Inhumanity: The Awakening vol 1 #1-2
