akademiya dottore and reader as the mario the idea vs mario the man essay, i cant explain my thought process on 3 hours of sleep I'm gifting you this idea, i also just think the idea of dottore with his head in his hands saying "you cant just say perchance" is really funny- 🎈
Dottore has read his fair share of horrible essays from his "scholarly" peers and even qualified researchers and he struggles with how they even made it into this institution, but he's never quite encountered an essay like this one. If it could even be called an essay... no, it can't be. Who starts an essay with "Everyone knows that Sumeru's plants are cool as fuck." He puts his pen down after the first sentence because you simply cannot be real. Admittedly he writes strange stuff in his notes too but those are notes. Not an essay!
I'm not sure which would be funnier. If Reader is genuinely very bad at writing essays or if Reader is actually very good at them and just wanted to troll Dottore. Either way, he's exasperated and done with you for wasting his time.
