sue times aka tsukasa's opinion on the twst characters

yume asta: likes her a lot, especially since they've both been isekai'd. finds it somewhat odd and a bit annoying she keeps up their idol persona all the time though.

grim: neutral. grim doesn't seem to like him but he doesn't really care. he also causes a lot of sue's headaches due to his loudness.

ace trappola: his roommate. at first he didn't like her but after book three they become awkward friends. he does know he'll get into a fight for her and she'll do the same for him.

deuce spade: also his roommate. appreciates his efforts in becoming an honors student. finds him to be a great study buddy. friendly teasing between the two of them.

riddle rosehearts: proud of her. before her overblot, he was really scared of her and actively avoided her. after her overblot he's been helping her be more kind to others and is proud to see her grow.

cater diamond: he's really confused about him. he can understand his surface personality pretty well. when he looks more into his senior, he always comes out confused.

trey clover: neutral as well. don't get him wrong, his senior's a good guy, it's just that he doesn't really find any appeal in him. he only ever talks to trey when he needs help.

jack howl: scared but friendly. the only reason why he feels fear around jack is because of the rabbit instincts. find him very pleasant to talk to when he gets past his prickly exterior.

ruggie bucchi: unknown. they've never interacted with each other before.

leona kingscholar: fear. he doesn't know if it's because of the overblot or the rabbit instincts. he tries to steer clear of leona as much as possible.

floyd leech: hates him. he finds floyd incredibly annoying to deal with. he also finds him quite boring to be honest.

jade leech: also hates him. jade's vibes are off so he never interacts with him. he also remembers about what jade said about his friend one time and never forgave him for it.

azul ashengrotto: can he say he hates octaniville safely? finds azul's pursuits in capitalism boring and a waste of time. he also doesn't forgive him for trying to steal ramshackle away from yume.

jamil viper: unknown. his character is very conflicting, so his thoughts about jamil are also pretty conflicting. he hopes that jamil finds the freedom he's looking for.

kalim al-asim: likes him but also kind of pities him. finds him as one of the few nice and kind people at nrc, even if oblivious. he also pities kalim because he knows the stories of what happens to heirs of highly valuable families.

epel felmier: finds his toxic masculinity unbearable. would probably get along great with him if it wasn't for that. other than that, no opinion on him.

rook hunt: tries to actively avoid him at all times. it's hard trying to talk to KAITO and miku without the hunter overhearing things. his vibes are also really off.

vil schoenheit: admires his acting a lot. he keeps imagining roles that would fit the housewarden very well but keeps the ideas to himself. admires him from a distance.

ortho shroud: he's a really cool friend. chronically offline and literally always online friendship vibes. ortho was the second to figure out the isekai stuff so he fills tsukasa in on twisted wonderland information which he's grateful for.

idia shroud: has literally never seen the guy.

alexander goldenheart: he's like his older brother in a way. sees him as a very close friend and confides in him a lot. the first to figure out the isekai stuff so they always stick close by each other.

sebek zigvolt: he finds it hard to get a good opinion on the half-fae.

silver: great senpai! he likes his calm energy which is helpful for when he feels overstimulated. everything feels a lot better.

lillia vanrogue: has not met him.

malleus draconia: hasn't met him either.

Alice in Wonderland / GPP

Julie had never seen anyone with rabbit ears before, not outside of conventions and Halloween, and definitely not on a random Sunday afternoon in the park. 

Curiosity piqued, she’d followed the tall blonde and his white rabbit ears and soon fell quite literally into a whole other world filled with a small eclectic mix of residents, a couple more with their own animal characteristics.

And while she’s never experienced a tea party, croquet game…or day like this in general…ever before she can honestly say that she wishes she didn’t have to leave all her new friends behind–but knows she can’t just abandon her family without a single word–maybe someday soon she can return.

Stretching out, my hands brushed against the soft white bedding that had cocooned me all night.

My curtains weren’t closed all the way so a singular stream of moonlight poured into my bedroom, offering some semblance of light to the dark space.

The stars were beautiful at this time of the morning.

Having to get up so early was definitely a negative when it came to my job. But it was worth it for the company alone since my co-workers had become my closest friends and working with the team was a complete dream.

I stretched once again, sitting up and swinging my legs over the side of my bed. I got up, slipped on my slippers and grabbed my pale blue dressing gown before heading downstairs to start my day.

Making my coffee, I loaded up my laptop and logged into my work email, checking our itinerary for the day. It was an exciting day ahead. It always was when a new player signed for the club. Our day was stacked with photoshoots and interviews along with a tour of the stadium and training ground, which all had to be documented by myself and my colleagues.

I did my skincare then my makeup before pulling my hair into a ponytail and getting dressed. My work uniform was a relatively boring black tracksuit with the club’s logo on each item and ‘staff’ written across the back of my jacket and shirt, but it did the job well enough.

The sun was still rising as I navigated my way from my house to the stadium for work; pink and orange hues covered the sky, as the birds cut through it, singing their morning songs with all their strength. It was a beautiful thing to hear on my way to work. In fact, I often found myself lowering the volume of my music, or even turning if off completely, just to be able to hear them sing.

I pulled into the stadium staff car park earlier than I would have liked.

The car park was relatively empty, with only two or three other cars parked nearby. I identified one as Eddie’s car, which meant that he was probably in his office getting the final preparations ready for the new player’s arrival.

Whenever a new player signed for the club, there was always a buzz about the city. Their photo was plastered on buses, shop windows, scarves, flags and not forgetting all over the stadium.

His face was positioned on large posters at the staff and player entrance alongside the rest of the team, officially identifying him as one of them. His main photoshoots were yet to take place, but that did not stop the city from proudly display his striking features.

I walked through the staff and player entrance and towards the small office that I shared with my co-workers.

My desk was the closest to the door, with small trinkets set up to remind me of some of my favourite memories at the club. Each season, the players bought me a new one to add to my collection. Every single item had a story and a connection to someone who had been important in my life at some stage or another.

Last season, Alex Isak had presented me with a small pin from his home back in Sweden that he had bought whilst visiting family. Karlsson had done the same, except his was probably my favourite of the two, but I would never tell Alex that. It was a small elf holding a Swedish flag, intended to represent his name, Jolly, along with his homeland. It made me smile whenever I looked at it.

Before I could even take a seat, there was a knock on the office door.

Stood in the doorway was the club manager, Eddie, looking relatively calm with a mix of stress as he usually did.

“So we have the new sign coming in about thirty minutes, is that enough time for you, Alana and Bryan to set up?” He asked in a calm tone.

“Yeah that should be enough time. Are we doing the tours before or after the contract?” I asked.

“After. Just because Ruffilo will be in physio in about an hour so we don’t want to intrude.” He explained.

“What’s up with Ruffilo?” I asked, concerned.

“Just that old knee injury acting up again. Nothing serious, he’s just complaining about some discomfort.” Eddie assured.

I always worried about the players when they were injured, especially those that had been signed here for a while, like Karlsson and Ruffilo.

“When the other two are here, we’ll head down to the conference room and set up.” I said, gesturing to Alana and Byran’s desks.

Eddie simply nodded with a smile before heading back to his own office, offering a “hello” and a “good morning” to Bryan as he passed by on his way to our office.

“Morning Y/N.” Bryan yawned as he walked in, large coffee in hand.

“Morning yourself. Rough night?” I asked.

“You can say that again. I was up until like two in the morning making sure that we could get all of our equipment over to Australia for pre-season.” He complained, yawning once again.

I had to laugh at that, since the club had already ensured that we would have all of the equipment that we would need. Bryan, however, hated the prospect that we might arrive there with nothing but our phone cameras. He liked to be one thousand percent sure of every last detail pertaining to our job.

“Hey, don’t laugh dumbass. Who forgot her gear last pre-season?” Bryan mocked, referencing my lack of planning skills or packing skills.

“Not my fault.” I defended. “That was all Ryan.”

“Ugh I hated him.” Bryan moaned.

“Hey, I was the one stuck with him!” I laughed.

Ryan was my ex-boyfriend who had a nasty habit of not fully supporting my career. The prospect of pre-season was something that he had hated from the moment we started dating, since I would be away in a different country for a long period of time.

It was a valid outlook to his credit, but his decision to start arguments with me immediately before I had to leave for the airport was not one that I could get behind.

Bryan’s excitement for the day ahead was palpable, despite the exhaustion written across his features. He always got excited by the prospect of new signings. “New people to torment” he would say every transfer window with glee on his features.

Alana was much the same in that regard. She loved meeting new people and working with new signings was the perfect opportunity to do so.

When she arrived that day, she was fresh-faced as usual. Her skin glowing as she sipped her water bottle.

“Jeez Bry, rough night?” She asked with a laugh, making Bryan scoff and roll his eyes as he clicked away on his computer.

“I do not want to hear about your amazing romantic holiday, but I am positive that it was lovely.” He said, not even looking up. Alana had spent hours showing Bryan and I photos and videos from the holiday that her boyfriend, Josh, had taken her on for their anniversary the last time that we hung out. It was beautiful and part of me was even jealous that I never got something like that.

“As if I was going to show you anymore.” She scoffed, rolling her eyes playfully.

The dynamic between the three of us was very much that of siblings. It was nice being able to have such playful banter at work.

“Since you’re both here, maybe we should go set up?” I suggested, gesturing to the door and picking up my camera.

“Sounds good.” Bryan replied, picking up his own camera and heading out the door, leading the way to the conference room.

The corridors were empty this early in the morning, which felt ever so slightly unsettling as our footsteps echoed through the halls. The rest of the media team would already be there setting up the audio equipment and the lighting equipment.

Journalists were beginning to fill the hallways the closer that we got, as they anxiously awaited the press-conference that was to follow the contract-signing. I kept my eyes peeled for the new singing or any of his family that he might have brought along, so that I could capture some photos of them to keep just for them. However, I didn’t see anyone.

Noah stood alone in the centre of the room with members of staff rushing around him, making sure that he had everything that he needed.

He looked handsome in the kit they had him put on for the photos. The black and white stripes making his tattoos pop. His hair was short, cut just below his ears. It looked fluffy and it took all of my willpower not to walk right up to him and card my hair through what appeared to be soft, feathery locks.

He was a lot taller than I had anticipated. Granted I had worked with taller players in the likes of Dan Burn, our resident giant standing at six foot seven, but for some reason Noah appeared much taller. His shoulders were broad, the expanse of his back appeared to be made out of pure muscle, in fact, his entire being seemed to be made out of pure muscle.

His strong body was offset by his soft features. Noah’s eyes were a soft, deep brown that sucked you in like a black hole. They seemed sad. Like they had seen enough to last several lifetimes over. The lights of the conference room reflected off of his eyes, creating the illusion of constellations within them. In that moment, I would have given anything to stare into the abyss of his eyes forever.

Transfer day was always somewhat awkward for everyone involved. Small talk had to be kept to a minimum in order to make the day run smoothly, so it wasn’t until media day and testing day that we would get to interact with him. Noah looked mildly panicked as he sat behind the conference desk, waiting for the cameras to begin filming; as if he were a student waiting to be told off by his teacher for misbehaving.

“He looks nervous.” Alana commented, nodding at Noah who was now fidgeting with the pen laid out on the desk on top of the contract that he was set to sign, with his long, spindly fingers. How on earth had I not noticed his fingers earlier?

“I heard he’s never even heard of the club before, or even been to the UK.” Bryan offered, lifting up his camera and snapping a couple of photos of Noah, who blinked in discomfort at the flash.

I always felt bad for the new players joining the club. Especially ones with similar situations to Noah. Being in a new club was never easy. Especially with the additional fact that there was an increased pressure coming to a club like this where the team was so close-knit and so close to history-making success as well as the fact that Noah had seemingly never heard of the club before or played for a Premier League team… things weren’t exactly adding up in his favour.

He did have the crowd behind him though. Since the rumours surrounding his transfer began, Noah had the crowd in a chokehold. With his face more or less plastered across the city, it was hard to miss the excitement of the American prodigy left-back’s arrival at the club. You could feel the buzz in the very bones of the city itself. His brilliance and skill on the pitch offered a sense of hope to the club’s loyal fans as the new season approached. Redemption was now within reach; for Noah and the club.

“Noah.” Bryan called out to him. “Do you mind just smiling for the camera?”

Noah nodded shyly before smiling. In that moment, something in my brain clicked into place. He was beautiful, but pained at the same time. There was something much deeper, and much darker, lurking beneath that stunning smile, and I was determined to find out what.

Twisted Wonderland x Grey’s anatomy AU : Part 1

A/N: I used to watch this series with my mom, and for some reason I keep thinking about Twisted wonderland and a crossover/AU. I had a little trouble fitting everyone or finding coherent ideas, but I like where this is going! Please do share your ideas and opinions, i’d love that <3 (I watched the series in french and used the internet to translate the services/job I didn’t know, feel free to correct me if it comes out odd)

Here’s my rant;

1st years will obviously be the residents! Newbies in the field of medicine, fresh out of university. I totally see Christina/Meredith friendship as Ace/Deuce! It’d be mad funny… Especially when Ace pulls a few prank on Deuce, like making him think he’s late for observation surgery… Oops! Now Alex would definitely be Sebek. Because at first they are unlikable, and are a bit distant from the main “group”. They do get adopted in the chaotic dynamics after a while, though. Just like out cute Sebek!

I wanted to put 2nd as residents, and 3rd years, well, the year above but I think it depends on who we’re talking about…

Housewarden are head of their services, we still want to keep Twisted wonderland basics lol. They often have to meet in official “meetings”, but they’re more like obligatory hangouts at this point. Leona either sleeps through them or doesn’t attend, Malleus lost his pager so he doesn’t know when’s the meeting, Kalim is running late… And Azul uses the meeting as a way to get fresh gossip from Vil. Riddle is the only one who still thinks Friday afternoons are serious meetings. Idia? Shh, you never heard of him. 

Overblot in this au would maybe be more like a big mental breakdown? I don’t know if this au is magical or not. It could be interesting to see how to associate magic and medical technology, how potion can be substitute to drugs etc. I also think it could be interesting to see the difference in anatomy for each specie, and the specificities of the faes!

Our lovely NRC teachers are holders (I mean ‘titulaire’, and this is the only translation I found). 

Trein: a god of general surgery who is close to retirement, but not there yet (Webber way). He is respected by his peers and has written a bunch of articles most medical students know. Nurses love that man. His daughters are very proud of him, and are begging him to retire already! His cat likes to judge the students. Divus: Plastic surgery, Vil’s mentor. Known for succeeding in near-impossible surgery at the beginning of his career. His colleagues find him a bit extravagant - and they’d love it if he stopped bringing his dog in the resting rooms, but he’s reliable and respected (btw he was the hospital fashion icon, ‘till Vil arrived). I think he has a good relationship with the nurses.

Vergas: This guy give massive Mark Sloan vibe, try me. I’m hesitating between general surgery or orthopedic surgery. His ambition has truly lifted his career up, though his personality can cause his peers to be a bit annoyed by him. He’s known for being able to do very long surgery without getting too tired, a lot of people ask for him. 

Crowley: obviously runs the hospital, or the hospital runs him, we’re not really sure. His colleagues, students, and workers all hate him. Unreliable. Brought a non-medical student to the hospital and asked the chief of services to teach them. Replaced coffee with decaf in resting rooms. Nurses have a picture of him filled with knives and seringues. But to the outside world, he is managing one of the best hospitals of the world, wich are teaching the elite of medical students. 

Heartslabyul – Will it surprise anyone if I say cardiology? Queen of hearts, surgery of the hearts… I think Trey and Cater would be holders who became friends soon after joining the service. They’re definitely the dad and mom there. Riddle is the service chief, and he is a very strict/serious doctor. He sticks to proven methods and studies, and very rarely tries to be “creative” (try unproven methods. Idk how to explain but in grey’s anatomy they often try clinical things, which don’t show positive/proven studies stuff like that). His talent is unmatched and he graduated early. He never lost a patient yet, which is why I think his overblot in this au could be to lose a patient he got close to? A child that reminded him of himself? And that Ace tried to push him into trying one last thing, a clinical trial, something like that, but Riddle refused and sadly, the kid died. I think it could be an interesting event to trigger his character growth and build a relationship with the 1st years. He’d totally have a Derek type of breakdown “I’m gonna live in the woods and never come back type of thing”. Speaking of 1st years, i totally see those two (ace & deuce) fight for the best surgeries. Cater likes to throw an apple (surgery) their way to see them fight – he gets scolded by Trey.

Ace is surprisingly good with young patients, doing magic tricks to appease them. Yeah, he lets Deuce do the blood taking and the tests — What?! He’s not soft! 

Trey x Cater, if you do not ship them, you can just go to the next dorm :) They are a couple from the hospital with very few problems and who love to flirt in the hallways. Well, especially Cater. “Hey darling, are you a treat? ‘Cause you’re awfully sweet–" "Cater, please, not with the patient in the room.”

Savanaclaw – Orthopedic. To put bones back in place, you need strength and method, sometimes you need brute force to tame the bone, sometimes you have to think carefully of what to do next. I think Leona balances those two well enough. His brother is the king of sunset savana, and Leona escaped home by studying abroad. I know that in canon he is more political oriented for his job, but let’s just say he chose randomly and ended up in medical studies. Ooh, maybe because his home country lacks doctors or facilities? Anyway, during his ‘studies’, he realized he liked orthopedics and went with it. He will find a way to escape paperwork. Don’t bother him, go to Ruggie. Ruggie has a scholarship, and he had to jump in between job during his university time. He got it real rough, until he found the jackpot. Leona Kingscholar, willing to throw money at him for the simplest task! I think Ruggie’s reason for being a doctor would be money (Obviously). I remember him mentioning that there are a lot of children in his home village, and I feel like breaking bones happens to children often. So maybe that? Leona's reason for OverBlotting would be his brother trying to support the hospital financially. Like, actively trying to be there. It comes from a good intention, but his arrival only causes Leona to spiral. Memory he’d prefer to forget hunting his dreams, whisper in the hallways about how great Falena is… How Leona is bad-tempered… I’m really into this idea! He thought he escaped home only for home to come to him. 

Anyways. I don’t have much on Jack… I think he’s a hard working, intelligent and athletic young doctor with a brilliant future – if only he stopped getting into trouble with Ace, Deuce and Epel! He has a little crush on the latter, btw. Jack looks up to Leona a lot, wishing to be a great doctor like him someday. Leona would brush it off and tease Jack about it, but deep down he’s a bit happy. He secretly looks after Jack. Leona WILL skip surgeries if they bore him or if Ruggie doesn’t nag him hard enough. Ruggie will steal from other departments to stay on budget. Azul has an eye on him.

Octavinelle – I don’t have much of an excuse for making Octavinelle the general surgery service. But the fact that Bailey is called “the tyrant” (which now that i think about it could fit anyone) and works her residents to the bone made me think of Azul. Though I guess he could also be a part of a more bureaucratic job, like taking care of the hospital’s finances? Taking care of the budget? I like this idea a lot. For the tweels I hesitate between them being doctors or nurses. I feel like nurse Floyd is so real… It could allow Azul to have eyes on all the doctors in the block, and know all the drama (since grey’s anatomy has something for having therapy in front of an open patient…). Btw Floyd 100% ran into the hospital corridor with a kidney in his hands at least once or twice before.

Trey: J-Jade? Are you the nurse assigned to help me on this operation..? Jade: *smiling as usual* Dr. Clover! I am quite pleased to work with you again. But You seem displeased to see me, have I perhaps done something wrong? Trey: *sweating a bit* N-No. Not at all. I count on you, Leech.

Riddle: *red from anger* GET OUT OF MY OPERATION ROOM! Floyd: hehe, Goldfishie is mad at me ~  Riddle: *Ready to throw a scalpel*

Azul's nickname as a doctor is the Octo-tyrant (note the originality) because when he operates, it’s as if he had 8 arms! Though quick, he is very meticulous and doesn’t leave room for errors. I believe that an interesting plot for Azul's breaking point, his “overblot”, would be for a former bully to need medical attention and Azul the one that treats him. I’m not sure, but I think there is an episode like that in Grey's anatomy? Anyway, the bully is still a bastard, teasing Azul quite rudely. He takes it all with a forced smile and a bitter response, dark thoughts & emotions bubbling up until he can’t take it any more and decides to take his revenge in quite a dramatic way by ending the bully. After all, a slip up is quick to happen during a risky operation… Thankfully, he is stopped before anything major happens. 

Sometimes, Floyd gets bored in the middle of an operation which can lead to minors mistakes (not listening, lots of complaining, teasing… Yes Riddle, the last one if especially for you). But he knows that if he doesn’t stays, it’ll be worse later so he unhappily sucks it.

Jade is master gossip — he knows everything going on in the hospital. Information comes to him a a worrying speed. But unlike Rook, it’s simply because he has a good relationship with the entirety of the nurses in the hospital. So of course they’ll go to him to tell the hot tea… And, well, Rook is Rook.

When the family refuses vital surgery, the twins will “convince” them to accept. Yes this is against the law. No they never got caught. 

They tricked the first years into signing a contract with them, by making them errand boys in exchange of help with midterms. Now they know why he is called The Tyrant.

Azul: You call that cleaning? I want them pristine clean, not bare minimum clean. Do it again! Ace: Wh- again?! It’s been 3 times already! Man, I ain’t continuing with this. Jade: *appearing out of thin air* Do say? Ace: I-I mean, of course we only want the best for our dear doctor…

Preview:

Alex flings an arm out in the direction of Henry’s voice, managing to find fabric and fist a hand into Henry’s lapel. Henry squawks in a satisfyingly unroyal way when Alex yanks him forward and they slam bodily together in midair. He holds him close as they somersault through the blackness. Henry’s breath is warm along the side of Alex’s face.

“Oh, my,” Henry whispers when swirls of color begin to emerge from the dark around them. “How peculiar.”

The colors coalesce into shapes that should never be in a hospital closet. Instead of red EXIT signs or utility lighting, there are glowing toadstools and lightning bugs and, strangest of all, a white rabbit hopping down the tunnel as they fall.

...Or, the "Alice in Wonderland as an allegory for the closet" AU fandom needs :)

But both George and Alex taking on mentorship/leadership roles in their own way while simultaneously finding their way back to each other is important to me. May or may not have overly cheesy future thought up for them lmao

maybe we got lost (in translation) Okay this will be a year old soon and it shows how not used to writing I was but in terms of ideas its still one of my favorite fics :))). I like talking about language, I've spent the past few years operating in my second language, I will spend the foreseeable future operating in it, I think I get to have opinion on language and communication

Its sort of chaotic but that is the point, really wanted to go for an idiots in love, fluffy rom-com and I think I hit all the bits perfectly. Ngl I regularly reread the second half

this fic is a treat and a feel-good in between all of the other angsty lestappen fics. adore the romcom vibes. i could also slam both charles's and max's heads into tables (or each other) from how stupid they are.

fic that made me cry

the internal struggle that george goes through this fic is heartbreaking and so is his relationship with alex. it wretches at the reader's heart at how close yet so far alex and george are from each other and definitely made me feel things by the ending.

fic that gave me a story hangover

i could not stop thinking about this fic for weeks after i read it. lando's and oscar's personalities are shown off so well and their dynamic. it's so sexy yet tender and playful and- yeah, you should read this fic

fic i want to discuss book-club style

the relationships between the three are so complicated and deep and even a little bit twisted. they give a morally gray version of each of the characters which i absolutely love. also, the color imagery and symbolism is so beautiful in this fic. i would totally do a whole ass essay about the literary devices in this fic.

anything explicit by this author is so good, but this fic in particular had my eyes wide. it is probably the hottest thing i've ever read.

slams hands choripan/7msc i swear is godly at motifs and imagery. the infamous carlos sainz sr. quote infects carlos, yet carlos's softness and love constantly combats it. carlos can't help that he loves—the racetrack, the car, charles. carlos's internal struggles and how he is affected by his father's parenting are done amazingly.

if you love brocedes, you need to read this fic. i'm an absolute for brocedes making up fic, but i can't help it. the tragedy and complexity of their relationship are so well-done in this fic. they're so perfect for each other though also the worst thing to ever happen to each other.
