Know when I say this I mean it in the most positive way, but the FR staff will never top aberrations. I'm sorry that was peak dragon. Literally best dragon you could dragon. The ideal. The peak. The dream. The blueprint. Two heads? Two tails? Freaky long vulture energy? Even freakier terts?? Created from a primordial acid soup amalgamation???? You can't get better than this. Staff shot themselves in the foot by releasing this dragon because now it is scientifically impossible to top that. They are the best dragon. Ever actually. I went to church and asked god even and he was like "yeah man dragons will actually never get better than that and they never were better than that." So yeah. I'm not biased and it is true.

Creature: Horizon Mongrel
When stars collapse into black holes, not even light can escape the surface. But occasionally, very rarely when there is not a single pair of eyes in the universe even flitting towards the newly birthed black hole, something else can escape. Something that inherits the churning, black darkness and the intense gravity of its birthplace, and speeds away faster from that sinkhole of death than anyone can follow it.
Black holes incarnate. Many people ask questions about the origins of the horizon mongrels, the creatures called after the black boundary of certain death and crushing gravity near an imploded star. Very few people have answers that aren鈥檛 an overactive imagination. Where the mongrels really come from, no one is quite certain, but it鈥檚 clear that the patch of space that spits them out is darker and emptier than any other.
Flashing nightmares. Mongrels are solitary creatures that seem to be either completely uninterested in their own kind of entirely unaware of them. Rather, a mongrel seeks out places where the flow of spacetime is warped in some way, or even broken. Powerful graviturges often find themselves hunted by a mongrel, which is capable of great destruction should it ever arrive at its unfortunate victim鈥檚 doorstep. And as fast as it appears, it is gone - since they are often not much more than a flash of jaws and choking, crushing gravity, leaving nothing behind.
Slowing down time. The mongrels that have been studied seem to live at a faster pace than most creatures, slowing down their internal clock and allowing them to attain lifetimes of aeons. The only true weapon anyone has against a mongrel is to attempt to slow it, forcing it to experience time at a different speed, which seems to draw out some of its few weaknesses. Stopping a mongrel in its tracks entirely, well... it might just kill it.

Junko Kubota joined the team at Synergy Inc. shortly after graduating from Tama University in 1993. After her debut interactive CD-Rom Four-Sight was released in 1995, she began developing another project expanding on the concept of cryptic geometry and optical illusions titled 銈€儥銉┿偡銈兂 (ABERRATIONS). Planned for release in 1997, the only known screenshot can be found in the Synergy catalogue included with Zeddas: Horror Tour 2. Several mentions are made in the archived versions of the Synergy website, as well. The project was probably cancelled as the company merged with Tsukuda around this time, shifting its line of business strictly to publishing PC software.
Very little is known about her work afterwards. In the early-to-mid 2000s, she kept a website for her design label, Iconographician. In her blog, MneMe Fragments, she describes herself as an independent 3DCG designer. She updated it until 2014, mostly with posts about her favourite music albums and movies.
It is important for me to highlight the fact that I only became aware of this page because Haruhiko Shono shared it with me. Regrettably, only fragments have been archived at IA.

Another reference is a shared blog, also hosted at Jugem, apparently from a 3DCG class that she taught. Some posts refer to her as 'professor', and mention how keen she was when it came to providing film suggestions to her class. The above renders can be found there.

I am currently pursuing a few other leads and will update this post in the event that I am able to find any additional noteworthy information.
