Shout out to zebras for getting a letter all to themselves. I mean, sure, there are other animals that start with Z, but the zebra found a niche and monopolized it in children's media. Kids think Z, they think zebra, and you couldn't pay for that kind of brand recognition. And you know what, apples too! Ain't no better answer to "A is for..." than apples. The other letters are spoiled for choice, but A and Z are locked in.
