Book Birthday!

We’d like to take a break from whatever it is we do here to mention that a brand-new middle-grade book we wrote comes out today!

It’s the second volume in the AGENT STITCH series, and it’s called THE TROUBLE WITH TOOTHOIDS, featuring awesome illustrations by the talented Arianna Rea.

This continues the story from Book 1 (A STUDY IN SLIME) — but good news! Even if you didn’t read that book, THE TROUBLE WITH TOOTHOIDS is totally accessible. Everything you need to know is in this book! Speaking of which, it details the further adventures of Stitch (working for the Galactic Detective Agency, headed up by the Grand Councilwoman), Lilo, Jumba, Pleakley, and Cobra Bubbles, as they investigate strange doings in New York City. If you like Pleakley, you’re going to love this book.

Your telling me this man with two PhDs related to psychology, who always has the exact right thing to say to manipulate a situation to his favour (when it's a planned/known situation), but cocks up massively when it's an unknown situation, who has a massive reaction to getting slimed (more so than the others), who would rather joke all the time than take a situation seriously because wtf should he say

Ever considered stuying mycology as a job in the future or is your interest in mushrooms more of "only a hobby" kinda deal?

I really want to do some type of scientific research, but studying fungi and fungal-related organisms is my dream job lol. I’ve wanted to be a mycologist for a while now, but honestly any sort of biology or even chemistry job would be amazing.

Unfortunately, my parents don’t think I can become a mycologist. They say that I’m smart and have a bright future, but that my interest in fungi is useless. They want me to use my ✨big brain✨ to become a doctor instead. I’ll make more money that way, yeah, but I don’t think I’ll be very happy lol.

I just wanna look at lichen all day is that so much to ask 😭

With the splatvore thing I think it's like squit is mostly boneless and floppy so it's kind of like a slime.

i feel like the noble squit and ogdopus tread some funny ground on account of being shapeshifters, but they still keep a solid form for the most part! they cant actually turn into a liquid and scoot away, but they can hide in ink and move that way...
