the very lazy progress and planning process of making my save file - only parts of these builds are done, i am going pretty big on the realism / small (mountain? forest?) town vibe but it does feel a bit lacking in warmth at times so im trying to substitute that with nature so lots of trees.

i am really excited to get this part of the save done too because i want to show it to all of you so bad lol but im struggling to find that balance between realism & Still feeling like sims 4. which is really difficult honestly.

its been like 3 years but i'll never stop being annoyed that they really tried to pull the whole "i came into this world thinking only of myself, it was wrong of me" schtick with marcy in the finale when one episode prior in the flashback she said "you newts took me in when i landed here, fixed me up and cared for me - i promise to do my best to look after this place as well" and we see the results of that promise when we explore newtopia all throughout season 2? what do you mean what do you meaaaann

#i really like amphibia more than i thought i would to the point it occupies my thoughts more than owl house nowadays #[I STILL LOVE TOH IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE]#but my god the character incongruity in season 3 drives me insane i haaaate it #theres a lot of like. they'll say one thing in canon and treat it as fact #when the entire show up until that point doesnt support the claim at all. at all!!#OR they'll have fluff episodes in the middle of really important episodes that's like 'sprig learns his impulsivity harms others'#as though we didnt have that 3476487 times in s1 AND s2! why are we doing this again!! wartwood is in shambles! AAAHHH #s1 is incredible and built a whole world in which to set the character dynamics and motivations for s2 #s2 built upon s1's foundations and expanded upon the world shown to us and the characters and class dynamics #while introducing new characters and having them play a crucial active part in the story #season 3.#not art

so i watched episodes 1-4 of Murderbot yesterday and I'm enjoying it so far. It's taking a minute to get used to how murderbot sounds bc I listened to the audiobooks and keep expecting to hear Kevin R Free instead of Skarsgard 😂 also Gurathin is very different from how I pictured him but I am enjoying this interpretation so far

I did have to pull up my copy of all systems red while watching the 1st ep bc I was like wait a minute Arada & Pin-Lee are together since when??? Looks like they merged Pin-Lee and Overse (and no Volescu) which is interesting. I understand wanting to condense the main cast down (and Volescu is only in the first book anyways) but it'll be interesting to see if that will really impact any future seasons bc Overse has a bigger role in later books that's different from Pin-Lee (who appears to have retained book personality & job just seems to have taken Overse's wife lmao)

Hot take but Teen Titans vol 3 era Cassie wasn’t that bad. Her designs were kinda terrible yes, BUT. It did have some interesting characterization and I feel like people wanna ignore that completely because they gave her lipstick?? Like how can you ignore her arc around the grief of losing her basically sister just cuz she kissed some boys or whatever. Ttvol3 Cassie definitely could’ve been better, like, leagues better, but still. It’s important to her story and it’s weird when people try to ignore it entirely

ALSO without ttvol3 we wouldn’t have had the mess that is Rose and Cassie. This is the price we have to pay for toxic yuri
