Hey everybody! I wrote a book! It comes out on September 17th 2024.

It’s a magical realism thriller anthology of four short stories and five poems! Each stand alone short story is set in a different season. Each story says something different about the human condition.

In “Dottie’s Final Day,” a reaper comes to Dottie Lyre in her garden. What does an elderly mother choose to do on her last day alive?

“The Door,” appears suddenly and disappears just as fast. What’s on the other side? Why won’t the door sit still? Jane’s going to find out.

Meanwhile, as for my week...well...let's see how it was looking. Time for EDITING, TYPING, AND WRITING.

EDITING. I'm happy to report that I've started my next long-term writing goal. And that began...with #editing.

As I mentioned last week, I was finished with my last project. And I was feeling a way about finishing. I had an itch. So I needed something new.

And new has begun.

TYPING. Nothing to see here. Move along.

WRITING. It was really looking like a #return to horror.

So basically I was going to be working on my #horror WiP this week. And this time, it was going to be from a place of creative direction, not fear.

Fear I say? Why? It just seem like I felt a bit of #echoing. And we know how I feel about my characters' lives even mirroring my own.
