It’s a magical realism thriller anthology of four short stories and five poems! Each stand alone short story is set in a different season. Each story says something different about the human condition.

In “Dottie’s Final Day,” a reaper comes to Dottie Lyre in her garden. What does an elderly mother choose to do on her last day alive?

“The Door,” appears suddenly and disappears just as fast. What’s on the other side? Why won’t the door sit still? Jane’s going to find out.

GOOD AFTERNOON, LIKERS!!! Well...look at all that #sun. Looking out my window, I wouldn't think that there would be another cool few days coming in. But I never expected it to go from cold to hot, either. Ugh. #cali weather.

The past few days have been rough. So I was #grateful I had a few days to play catch-up. I was also grateful that during the rough #turbulence, that I was still consistent with working on my forthcoming projects. That was the goal last week, and that was being maintained.

But let's see how that was looking. AKA It's time for EDITING, TYPING, AND WRITING.

EDITING: Mornings are for editing.

At least that was how I've been for the last week. Also #coffee. Usually, I was up with it and editing before I had to head into work. And the goal was a minor one, but I allowed myself to flow.

At the moment, I was going back over the short stories in Darkened Soul: THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES. One story down. Currently I was in the next story. And there were two more short stories to go. Then it was on to the main #feast: the self-titled novella (and its epilogue) within.

There have been some mornings when it just flows by. Other mornings I was too tired from work.

But...I keep going.

TYPING. Gotta love those late-night typing sessions.

That's right! It's back, back, back again!!! lol. But seriously, evenings have been for typing up the last part of THE RYN. I did miss a deadline, I was afraid. Still, I was back the next night typing up some more.

It had been a #godsend actually.

WRITING. With so much going on, it's still a #Moot point at the moment.

I'm honestly wondering if since I been busy with THE RYN and THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES and post-HOW THE OTHER HALF LIVES, I'm just #nervous to write. Well...there IS #journaling.
