First page of the 9-1-1 journal thing is complete!!!

Episodes 1x01-04. I've been identifying common themes and key quotes and also just generally commenting on characters' arcs so that I can look at parallels and stuff later.

As a writer and a showrunner, I'd be pissed off by those "journalists" trying to twist the entire narrative of Buck's storyline to make it into whatever buddie wet dream they want to see happening.

With season 8 now airing, the relationship between Buck and Tommy is a solid thing. It's not a maybe, they look intimate and happy. But too many journalists are still making it about buddie, one way or another. This is not what the show is telling.

And I don't even talk about the fact they barely talk about the rest of the show, what the other characters go through, etc.

so what’s the truth collider? did they just open the door for buddie because buck and tommy broke up? or did the actors and the writers all say buddie isn’t happening?

Really need to start doing the 9-1-1 journal again it's so fun!!! Problem is that it takes longer to make than the episode length and I keep doing ahead too far... Also my room is messy. I will try again today.

if i got the chance to interview oliver stark about 911, you bet your ass i wouldn’t waste a single question over something like ‘will tommy be jealous of buck and eddie’s friendship?’ after we have seen multiple times he isn’t, and most recently in the new episode. not to mention we’ve seen even eddie isn’t jealous of buck and tommy’s relationship, and we were shown that yet again in the premiere. there are so many more interesting things you could ask about buck’s actual relationship and that story, or even buck and eddie. but no.

does anyone actually have a source on the “tommy is only the episode for a minute” claim? like I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true given buck doesn’t even seem like the focus this episode but I’m curious who’s putting this stuff out there.

New Buddie Fanfic - It's been three months and I'm still pissed about that BS "Vertigo" storyline because I hated it and I wish TM would have written something better for Eddie. There were several options but he just chose to use some wacky foolery because he likes it instead of considering the audience's response to it.

t’s Tuesday and the clock shows it’s 9:21AM but I’m sitting on the couch journaling my thoughts. I’m so excited that I can hardly hold this Apple Pencil in my hand because I spent a fantastic four day weekend with my fiancé in Malibu, CA and after we proposed to each other Thursday night, I journaled Friday morning but I haven’t written anything since then because I’ve been busy. It’s not an excuse, it’s a fact because yesterday, I got married and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I’m literally so happy and I’m smiling so big my cheeks have been hurting since Buck said, “Yes.”

Other than the day Chris was born, I don’t believe I’ve ever felt like this. First and foremost, I’m grateful for my son. He’s my pride and joy and I’m thankful that we’ve mended our relationship. It’s been a long road but he forgave me for messing up our lives and our family earlier this year and now we’re on the right path.

I’ve been married before and during that time I learned a lot of lessons that included the importance of communication. We didn’t know how to talk and all we did was argue instead of learning how to communicate therefore, I’m going to ensure it's drastically different during this marriage because we're going to be together forever.

Things are completely different this time because I wasn’t pushed or pressured into it and I know our love is the foundation of this lifetime bond we’ll forever share.

What happened on Eddie's and Buck's wedding day? 👀

[and the fact that it's them filming their son - right after Eddie apologizes to Buck for getting back with his wife and Buck tells him it's not like he's having an affair, and right before Buck doesn't correct the lady who assumes they're together. Great scene all around. They were like "what's the most coupley photo/scene we can possibly pick to really nail it home for the people who haven't seen it. Camcorder parents. Done.]

What do you think about Ryan’s interview?

I don't have any issues with it to be honest - Eddie currently has a girlfriend on the show, so why would Ryan start talking about Eddie being queer in some way or confirm Buddie??

At this point in time in canon Eddie has only dated and married women - the subtext is there and ready for them to work with for his queer journey - and I firmly believe they are doing so we just won't see that arc fully begin until the end of the season at the earliest (ready for exploration in 8a!).

At this point the interviewers constantly asking about Buddie is a pointless endeavour and it is purely about click bait not because they actually want to ask interesting or good questions about Buck and Eddies dynamic.

I always take interviews with the biggest pinch of salt - this is a massive show with a PR team who will have final say on what media outlets can publish and they will also be telling anyone being interviewed what they can and can't say and at this point in time. Buddie is the big slow burn romance that they do not want spoiled under any circumstances so the actors or writers or show runners or crew who get interviewed are going to lean into subterfuge or say very little on the subject - because why would you spoil something that is going to be central to future plans as well as being a defining moment in television history.

To be honest we've got far more out of the interviews this season than I was expecting to get - things that hint far more heavily that Buddie canon is coming - and those have been from better journalists who ask the right, more interesting questions. That article is nothing more than a click bait puff piece - a necessary evil in todays world!

man that access hollywood interview was hard to watch... lou was clearly so nervous and the fact that the interviewers couldn't even stay on topic with the show itself and yknow, the whole entire other actor sitting right there, was just... yikes! yikes all around!

I ship bucktommy, I love them together and I loved Bucks coming out arc…

I also ship Buddie.

If Bucktommy ends for buddie to happen I win

If bucktommy is endgame I win

But most importantly, I love the show so much that I don’t hang my entire happiness on 1 fraction of the plot going my way.

I’m convinced some of ya’ll must close your eyes and block your ears whenever Buck is off screen
