Buck walks to his locker and after he opens it, he says, “How are you?”
He shrugs his shoulders in response, then replies, “I’m ok.” He lies because he isn’t and he hasn’t been for a long time but he doesn’t want to burden Buck with his problems. After a few seconds, he asks, “How about you?”
Instead of admitting the truth, he lies too. “Me too.”
He nods, closes his locker and says, “I’ll see you out there.”
“Ok.” Buck admits, then he quickly removes his civies and starts getting dressed in his uniform.
Why aren't Buck and Eddie telling each other how they really feel about their current situations? 👀

Ok. So. I’ve been thinking…
Everyone involved from Tim to Oliver to Ryan has stated that they want to do the characters justice and tell a story “true” to the characters. IMHO there really isn’t a better story for Buck and Eddie in terms of character growth than them getting together.
Eddie has been constantly searching for a new maternal figure for Christopher and possibly even someone to just play “wife” with him so he can fulfill this heteronormative expectation of a having a traditional family unit that stems from his religious upbringing and what was modeled by his own parents. His identity and self image is that he’s a “nester, he nests”. He needs somebody to love. The rub is that none of his attempts to make that happen have made him happy. Buck is the solution to this. Buck is already a part of the family. What Eddie so desperately searches for in all of his failed relationships is what he already has with Buck and that does make him happy. He just doesn’t realize it yet.
Buck on the other hand is the opposite. Through his upbringing and trauma with his family life, Buck has felt neglected and unloved for a long time. In the earlier seasons, this manifests as hyper sexuality and a need to create intimacy with whoever he can project it on to. It’s quick and dirty and it does the trick for a little but it’s not satisfying and fulfilling the way he wants it to be. Buck needs to be loved. And his solution is Eddie. Buck has that lasting affection and intimacy with Eddie, and I’m not speaking sexually. What’s more intimate than having a key to someone’s house and being their child’s coparent/godparent? Buck also has the belief that he’s expendable and Eddie is the one to help him out of this mindset by making Buck Chris’s guardian in the event of death, which helps give meaning and weight to Buck’s self esteem because now Buck has a reason for self preservation: Chris. Also, Eddie is incredibly patient and kind when it comes to Buck. After the tsunami, Eddie sets Buck straight when he’s beating himself up about losing Christopher. Instead of being angry he lost Chris or just neutral and saying “it was out of your control”, Eddie actively reassures Buck in a positive way. Buck gets what he needs from Eddie. He just doesn’t realize it yet.
I saw something floating around that was really interesting and that I agree with: Eddie knows he loves Buck but doesn’t know he’s queer, and Buck knows he’s queer but doesn’t know he loves Eddie.
Whether or not they intentionally wrote them this way, whether they’re going for just box checking representation or shock value or fan satisfaction, what have you, the reality is that the product they currently have is currently set up in a way for them to do one of the most beautiful, unique, compelling queer love stories we have ever seen on network television. And I really hope they lean in to that.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk…

I’ll Never Leave You

Eddie x Buck
Summary: Eddie and Buck have a deep conversation on Eddies couch after Buck came over after his break up with Tommy.
Warnings: not proof read, unsure of what im even writing.
A/n: Im still not over Bucktommy break up. Blah blah blah yeah yeah yeah they only brought Tommy back for one reason.
Im still sad ok.
In my head this is what i need to see in the next episode. What i imagine is happening.
In no way am i trying to make Tommy the bad guy in this. If you have seen any of my other posts since Epi 6, you know i love Tommy and im a multi shipper.
——————
“Tommy broke up with me.” Buck muttered. Its the first thing either of them said since they sat in the couch, the case of beer almost empty.
Eddie paused and made his known face he makes when Buck tells him he broke up with is current partner.
He turns his head and sees how hurt Buck is. Of course breaking up with someone is hard but Tommy was good for Buck so even Eddie is feeling sad for Buck.
“I’m sorry Buck.” Eddie rubs Bucks shoulder reassuringly as he finishes off his beer.
The two sat there in silence again as Eddie doesn’t want to push Buck to talk and Buck is wondering why no one stays in his life.
“We both dated Abby.”
“Really?” Eddie furrows his brows as he proceeds to think of what Buck just said.
“Yep. Tommy and Abby were engaged. And after that i was the himbo.”
“Himbo?” Eddie snorted but quickly cleared his throat when he saw the look Buck was giving him.
“Sorry.”
Eddie got up and grabbed another six pack from the fridge bringing it into the living room handle Buck another beer.
“I asked him to move in with me.”
“You did?” Eddie thinks of how long him and Tommy have been together but then again he cant say anything. He asked Marisol to move in with him.
“Then he said that ‘I’ would end up breaking his heart because he knows how this ends.”
Buck leaned his head back against the couch as he finished off another beer.
“I thought he was the one. He said that he was my first not my last. But they can be they same thing, thats what i told him. He didnt believe me. Do you believe me?” Buck looks over at Eddie who is fingering his beer bottle.
“Y-yeah, sure….they can be the same thing.” Eddie mumbles out. The beer is starting to get to him.
Buck puffs out his cheeks as he looks down at the floor. He notices Eddie is still just in his underwear and a button down with the collar flipped up. But he doesn’t say anything about it.
“Everyone always leaves me.” Buck says after minutes of silence. A tear falls down his cheek but he wipes it away.
“Maddie has left me multiple times, my parents clearly didnt want me in the first place. Bobby left. The damn lawsuit. And everytime i ask someone to move in with me, they leave.” Buck named off everyone whos ever left him making him realize that maybe hes the problem.
“Buck we are all way past the lawsuit.” Eddie reminds him. “Bobby came back to the 118. Maddie and Chimney are here and Hen is here.”
“I know. I just wish people who claim they love me would stay.” Buck says
“We all love you Buck.”
“Not like that.”
Eddie turns his head and looks at Buck, the conversation at the coffee shop with Father Brian.
“You’ll always have me Buck.” Eddie tells him, he feels his heart beat start to race and he starts to feel sweat droplets around his forehead.
Buck turned his head looking at Eddie and repeated what Eddie had just said in his head trying to put it in place with the conversation.
“What do you mean by that?” Buck asks
“I- i um… I’m your best friend.”
“Yeah?” Buck can clearly tell something is going on with Eddie, and its not how drunk he is something was going on before he got there.
“I lied to you.” Eddie says, he sees the hurt fill Bucks face even more and it makes him feel even worse.
“About what?” Buck asks him. “Being my best friend?”
“No. About me. Who i am.” He sees the pain he caused turn into confusion on Bucks face.
“I went and talked to Father Brian and he said that I’m punishing myself of ‘joy’ told me to find a way to express myself.” Eddie explains
“Is that why you shaved?” Buck asks
“Part of it.”
“The other part is because i was hiding from myself.” Eddie confessed. He found it easy to talk to Buck, he didnt feel pressure or judged.
“Are you done hiding from yourself?” Buck asks. He knows Eddie feels like a failed parent since Chris is in Texas with his parents.
He knows Eddie hasnt been himself since and he hasn’t wanted to push him about it.
“Im not sure.” Eddie says “theres something else.”
Buck reaches for another beer, as he leans back onto the couch hes a bit closer to Eddie. Their arms brush against each other as Buck takes a swig of the beer. Waiting for someone to say another word.
“Find joy” Eddie mumbles
“Hmm?” Buck looks over at Eddie.
“Joy.” Eddie places a hand on Bucks cheek as he looks into Bucks blue eyes.
“Eddie.” Buck says, the hand on his cheek feeling like a hot mold leaving a scar on his face.
This had to be the beer because why is Eddie staring into his sould wetting his lips with his tongue.
“Kiss me.” Eddie whispers
“W-what?”
“Kiss me.” He repeats
At first Buck thought he was joking there was no way Eddie wanted him to kiss him. Eddie was straight to his knowledge.
“A-are you sure?” Buck asks as he notices the tent in Eddies underwear. Its pretty easy to see since hes not wearing any pants.
“Yes.”
Eddie asking Buck to kiss him sobered him up but as soon as Buck leaned down and placed his lips on Eddies he was drunk again.
Eddies lips were warm and soft against his.
Eddie adjusted himself on the couch so Buck was above him between his legs.
Bucks tongue worked its way ino Eddies mouth as Eddies fingers slipped under his shirt.
The two were shirtless chest to chest as they made out.
“Is this what joy feels like?” Eddie asks
“Yes.” Buck quickly answered.
-
As Buck laid on Eddies bare chest listening to his heart beat all these thought were rushing through his mind.
His boyfriend just broke up with him, he came to his best friend’s house to drink a beer and to not be a lone only to have ended up making out with his best friend.
That was a very Buck 1.0 move.
He just made out with his best friend who hasnt came out to himself.
What if it was all the beer?
What if this isnt what Eddie really wants?
Buck cant go back like nothing happened.
———-
A/n: I’ll probably write another story once we know what happens next episode.

Under The Lamppost Back On Sixth Street on ao3!
Eddie kisses Buck under the lamppost on Sixth Street. Only issue- he doesn’t remember that he did that until after Eddie gets to Texas.
“Eds?” Buck’s voice got him out of his head.
“H-he wants to come home.” Eddie said, breathless, bringing the phone away from his ear.
Eddie watched Buck, all leaning against the lamppost, a huge smile on his face as the wind blows through his curls. His cheeks had gone back down to the light pink tint, his nose getting slightly red from the change of weather.
“Well what are you waiting for?” Buck asked, using his hand that’s inside his jacket pocket to gesture. “Go!”
I saw Oliver’s instagram story and ran with it. I reposted it to my page with my idea and I immediately wrote it! I hope you enjoy!!❤️

A Buzzy Shift
Rating: T
Chapters: 1 of 3
Summary: What begins as a slow day at the 118 turns into several beemergencies.
Excerpt:
“Did I ask for a lesson in California law?” Gerrard snaps. Buck ignores him. Fuck if he’s gonna let Gerrard become a bee murderer. “Yeah, it’s kinda cool, ‘cause, like, the Wildlife Fish and Game Code technically defines fish as any, umm, mollusk, crustacean, amphibian, or invertebrate,” here, Buck counts on each finger as he names the creatures, “and since bees are invertebrates, they’re protected.”  Gerrard pinches the bridge of his nose. “Firefighter Buckley, I do not have the patience for this. Go get the vinegar before I lose my ever-loving mind.”
Read on ao3
I've been having so much fun reading everyone's theories about what kind of bee emergencies the 118 will encounter in season 8, so I decided to throw my hat into the ring. I do hope you appreciate my bee puns; I think I'm hilarious.
Fair warning, Buck/Tommy is definitely mentioned in this fic but they are more of a background relationship. I love their dynamic, so I'll try to incorporate them more in Ch. 2 or Ch. 3.
I don't want to annoy anyone with tags on this post but let me know if you want to be tagged in the future! <3

Okay she posted a message saying she isn't going to answer their nonsense for the foreseeable because you can't actually talk to them like normal people. So she's answering other kinds of questions. No idea if you're interested in this kind of stuff but I liked this one so enjoy!
Q. I see the alternate reality theory really gaining traction do you really think that's a possible storyline? Also if they were going to go full fanfiction for one storyline which trope would like to see?
A. The alternate reality theory was starting to look more likely anyway with the BTS stuff they were posting, and now that I know they have Lone Star writers on board I absolutely think they're doing an alternate reality episode. Knowing them one of the team, most likely Eddie, will get stung by a bee and end up having some kind of reaction that will result in him falling into some kind of alternate reality dream like state. Several people have also noticed and pointed out that the locations they were showing have all been previous Buddie rescues so that adds to the likelihood of it being Eddie's dream. Buck's already had his version so I don't see them giving him another one. I also wouldn't be surprised if Buddie were together in the alternate reality because it gives them a way to kind of test the response, and would be a way of confirming that it's coming without having to actually spoil the full story. I genuinely think we are going to get pining Eddie for at least a bit. I have no idea why I think that, but I do. I just think we're going to get one of them figuring it out before the other and I'm more and more convinced it's going to be Eddie.
There are several fanfic tropes I would like to see, and if you've followed me for any amount of time you know that I'm an angst girlie. I like a bit of angst. So I would go with an amnesia storyline for one of them. I like the idea of one of them spiraling because the other doesn't remember who they are to one another. And the idea of them kind of having to relearn their dynamics in a new way for a little while. I also think it would be interesting to see the one with amnesia hearing all the Buck/Eddie stories and being completely confused when he finds out they're not an actual couple. I am well aware that angst is not for everyone, lol. But I am a fan. I also like the idea of mutual pinning but neither believing the other one feels the same way, so because of that I also like the roommates trope. What would yours be, anon?
God YES Nonny! I am very much interested in these kinds of questions. We have been fed well with lots of bts and promo with Oliver and Ryan. It's time to focus on the positive side of things as well. :) So thank you for dropping this in my inbox!
I really like your alternate universe theory Ali. I would love to see something like this play out on our screens. It has so much potential.
I can't speak on the Lone Star writers, because I don't watch Lone Star. I tried when it premiered, but after two episodes I gave up. It isn't nearly as appealing to me as the OG. So, I don't know how their storylines differ from the OG.
Oh talking about tropes I see. The amnesia trope is a really good one. The trope I personally love best is the whole friends to lovers thing where one of them is aware that they're in love with the other and they're pining hard. The other is oblivious until they find out and promptly realise that they feel the same way.
So, as you can see, with Buddie we are already half there. They are very close friends already. One of them (and I do believe it'll be Eddie) just has to catch a clue and start pining after the other. It'll all work itself out from there. :)
What tropes are your favourites?
IMPORTANT! Please don't repost this ask and/or a link that leads straight to my Tumblr account on Twitter or any other social media. Thank you!
Heads up! For anyone who is giving me the shifty eyes for reposting Ali's updates instead of reblogging. Read this.
Remember, no hate in comments, reblogs or inboxes. Let's keep it civil and respectful. Thank you.
If you are interested in more of Ali’s posts, you can find all of her posts so far under the tag: anonymous blog I love.

"You don't know math!" - Ficlet
Fanonwriter2023 on AO3
Where CANON and FANON collide!
The first ficlet in the "What do you want?" Series in now available on AO3.
New Buddie Fanfic and New Buddie Series
"You don't know math!"- Buck is forced to choose while Eddie might be presented with another option.
Tumblr media
"You don't know math!"
3.2K Words; Rated: General Audiences
___________
Here are two snippets, one for Buck and one for Eddie.
___________
Buck
“EVAN?!”
“What?” He replies with a frown because Tommy must be foolish to think he can yell at him like he’s a child.
“Did you hear what I said?”
“Uh… what was that?”
Tommy exasperatedly sighs then with his arms folded over his chest, he says, “Evan, all you had to do was go in there and keep your head down since I told you what type of guy Gerard is.”
~~~
Eddie
About 20 minutes later, the bartender sits his wings and fries in front of him along with another beer but right when he’s getting ready to eat one of his wings, he hears someone say his name.
“You’re Eddie, right?”
He turns around and sees a man who’s 6.2’ or 6.3’, with eyes that are as blue as the ocean, a big million-dollar smile and muscles for days. He asks, “Do I know you?”
“I’m Chuck with the 121 and uh, maybe you don’t remember me but…”
Did Buck breakup with T*mmy too late? 🙃
Did Eddie just meet someone new? 👀
___________
"What do you want?" - A Series of Ficlets
This is a series of “Ficlets” that I’ll be writing over the course of the next few weeks and my goal is to keep them under a certain number of words. I’m challenging myself to do it this way for multiple reasons but mainly because I want to see if I can write a full Buddie story by including smaller fics in a series in comparison to the multi-chapter fic I’m still in the process of writing titled, “I’m still in love with you but… I needed to learn how to love myself too!” I only have 9 chapters left before I finish it but once I’m done, I’d like to continue writing Buddie fanfics. However, this time I’ll start with my dislike for the way season 7 ended instead of the way season 6 did. Finally, I have a lot of WIPs that I want to finish and I figured I can turn them all into ficlets to build the full story for Buck and Eddie.
"You don't know math!" - 3.3K Words; Rated: General Audiences: Buck is forced to choose while Eddie might be presented with another option.
OK, walk with me here:
So Buck and Eddie get married the night of the bachelor party as a joke but then the next morning they both have zero memory of it.
Jump to the season finale!
Buck and/or Eddie has to do something mundane but legally related (similar to how madney found out about their “tax fraud”) separately. They are confused the whole episode on why whatever they’re trying to do isn’t working and THEN at the very end of the episode one of them checks their mail and there’s a certified letter and they open it and it’s their marriage license and you just get an “oh shit” look and then fade to black.
DO YOU SEE THE VISION?
Hey friend! We tend to ship the same ships, so tell me about Buddie.
Omg! I am thrilled to get this question! First hey friend! We do like the same ships and I am a fan of your work, so it’s lovely to hear from you. So not to over do this but I have broken my answer (essay) up into three parts. The first is things to know before entering the buddie fandom, the second is who they are, and the third is why I like them. I tried to be as succinct as possible but I do suffer from too much love for them so bear with me. Also this is spoiler free.
What to know about buddie
Okay so the very first thing to know about buddie is that they are not canon. Yet. (A deal with the devil is scheduled for Wednesday night before the next episode airs on Thursday which is speculated to be THE episode. Jkjk) This is important to note because when I entered the fandom I had absolutely no clue. I thought they were a gay firefighting couple who were raising a special needs child together. I thought it was cute. I was confused and disappointed when I found out they were not in fact together. The second thing to know is buddie is unhinged about each other. Like watching this show I feel gaslit especially in the earlier seasons. Something would happen between them and I’d be wondering like is this normal behavior? I probably didn’t start shipping them until season 3 but did notice some crush type behavior early on. I also went into the show expecting to like them so. The third thing to know is there’s a shit ton of amazing fanfic and it’s constantly growing. Like I think when I started reading buddie fanfic again last March it was 8k lower than it is now. It’s insane how fast it’s growing. And lastly, shipping them is like entering a land of delusion because they’ve been a will they go canon since like season 4 and we’re on season 8. I initially got into them right before season 5 and I was so sure they’d go canon in season 5 and then they didn’t. So like there’s just a lot of delusion about whether or not it’s happening, which is fine but it’s good to know going in. That being said you don’t have to worry about a Veronica mars situation with them.
Who is buddie?
Okay so buddie or Evan “Buck” Buckley and Eddie Diaz are two firefighters on a show called 911 which also stars Angela Bassett, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Peter Krause. All major reasons I came for the show. Buck is in the show from episode 1 and Eddie comes in season 2. The show is all about first responders and while it can be a tearjerker there’s also some really strange plot points and funny ones. Buck is basically introduced as a fuck boy a la Logan Echolls but without the rich and famous parents. Buck’s story can be summed up as a someone who is desperate to be loved. His parents, while not as bad as Logan’s, were not great parents and Buck has a lot of self esteem issues. In my opinion, Buck has been on a journey since season 1 to figure out how to love himself and be in a loving relationship where he’s not being used (mostly for sex.). And then there’s Eddie Diaz who comes in as a work partner for Buck thanks to their fire captain Bobby (Peter Krause). Eddie is an army medic with a son who is adorable and has cerebral palsy. He got married super young because he got his girlfriend pregnant. Now, his wife is estranged and not in the picture so Eddie is learning what it is to be a single parent. His son, Chris is the most important person in Eddie’s life and later on becomes the most important in Buck’s. Eddie’s journey can really be summed up as he’s always taking care of other people and his identity is tied up in his titles such as father, husband, soldier, firefighter without taking the time to actually know who he is. He’s always pushing his own needs aside and then they generally manifest in anger or mental health issues. He’s spent a lot of time addressing these issues and growing to better understand balancing his needs and accepting that it’s okay to be open. Eddie and Buck lean on each other constantly and the audience watches as their friendship grows and they become a family.
Why I like Buddie
So the top reason I like buddie is because I love how soft they are with each other. Both Buck and Eddie are pretty traditionally masculine men which is why it’s so refreshing to see them so open with each other. First and foremost they are best friends and they show up for each other again and again. There are so many scenes in which you can see the love they have for each other. And they are evenly matched too. Like they are partners in every sense of the word. And they have their own storylines outside of each other so the character isn’t a plot device to drive the other’s story. It’s a really refreshing take to see men have meaningful conversations and be vulnerable with each other without sacrificing who they are as characters or being labeled a certain way. I love Buck because he is so emotional and isn’t afraid to be that way while Eddie has been told for most of his life to suck it up and push it down. By watching Buck be so open, he’s able to feel like he has a safe place to be vulnerable. So I guess my favorite part of them is watching them be safe with each other.
I also love found family stories and this is like peak found family. They trust and rely on each other and again it’s amazing to see. I mean overall I’d say they don’t have any toxic traits in their relationship except probably codependency and Buck can be unhinged when he’s jealous, but unlike other ships I’ve enjoyed, they’re extremely healthy for one another. They bring out their best qualities. I also like that they are best friends and work partners. They do so many things together which the audience sees again and again. They match each others freak and it’s just really beautiful. And lastly, it’s a slow burn. Like incredibly slow like caramelizing onions slow so while you get a bunch of content you also have to wait it out.
I think I covered all of it. Highly recommend. The first season does feel like a completely different show but it’s all fun to watch. I’m not a procedural person but I enjoy 9-1-1. The writing isn’t like mind blowing but it’s definitely enjoyable. I tend to watch while crafting.
lol my essay is complete. Let me know if I didn’t cover anything or anyone else please add to this incredibly over the top answer to a simple question.
I feel like this episode is gonna break my heart and I’m so many different ways. And I’m genuinely even more afraid for the Christopher and Eddie portion of it all especially when I think about Ryan saying in that interview that he’s on his own for season 8 and it makes me wonder if this thing with Chris being with his grandparents is permanent or if maybe season 8 doesn’t start with a time skip. Basically my brain is going down a very dark rabbit hole of pain. And the only thing that could make it worse is if buck and Eddie have some kind of falling out (which ooooh Tim do not go there please).
I understand! I too am so worried about Eddie and Chris. And Bobby (don't you take my Fire!Dad away from me).
My solutions to this has been to take a step back from the meta, t he speculation, the promos and stills and clips etc. when I need to.
I love all the speculation and the ABC promo stuff, I truly do.
BUT when I get too overwhelmed or stuck in a negative spiral, I always go back and read my favourite Buddie/911 fanfics. Once I've been in those fanon worlds for a while, with the happy endings and love confessions and the domestic bliss, then I can dip my toes back into the discourse about canon and the finale.
Also - we are almost there! The episode airs about 4 hours from now! We will get answers, at least some answers. And then we can all support each other as we grapple with the outcome of the finale.
My blog will always be open to chat :)
A Buzzy Shift - Chapter 2 is posted!
Rating: T
Chapters: 2 of 3
Summary: Another member of the team gets stung while on a call. Buck is furious and suspicious.
"Math is a universal language." - 5.0K Words; Rated: Teen and Up Audiences
___________
Here's a snippet from an emotionally angsty conversation Eddie and Buck are having inside of the firehouse.
___________
Buck asks, “Uh... the alarm sounded before you had a chance to tell me what you did this weekend. Did you talk to Chris?"
“I did and he told me to tell you hi and that he misses you. I talked to him every day and it finally seems like we're making some progress.”
“Hmm… that's good and I miss him too.” He replies while his Christopher smile graces his lips. He pauses as he wipes the cleaning agent off the engine’s side mirror then he asks, “What else did you do?"
Instead of verbally responding, he smiles and his cheeks turn rosy.
Buck wants to spit nails because he thought he was the only person who could make Eddie blush like that.
Eddie starts looking off into the distance like he’s remembering something or someone and it makes Buck’s head start hurting because he hopes he isn’t spending time with that weirdo Kim. She changed her hair so she could look like a dead woman and he thinks it’s no wonder she’s been out of work as an actress for so long because she obviously wasn’t very good at her job.
After a few seconds of silence, Eddie admits, “I spent time with a guy who graduated from the academy with me.”
Internally, Buck asks himself, “What the hell?” then his mouth falls open and his brain goes offline because he could have sworn Eddie said he spent time with some guy that’s not him. Once he comes back to himself, he starts talking without considering his words. “Uh… who’s he?”
Eddie can hear the frustration in Buck’s voice and he wonders if he should say his name but he shrugs his shoulders when he remembers Buck’s dating Tommy now so it shouldn’t matter to him who he spends time with. He explains, “Well… his name is Chuck; he works at the 121 and we ended up at the bar together Thursday after work.”
“Huh? Eddie… I—I’m confused because uh… you hardly ever go to bars.”
“I know but I was tired of sitting at home waiting for my life to happen so I got dressed and went out. He showed up a few minutes after I arrived and we got to talking. We agreed to stay in touch and we ended up going to Manhattan Beach Friday night, the beer fest on Saturday and yesterday… we cooked lunch and dinner together.” He knows telling him all that is petty as hell but in this moment, he’s unconcerned.
Will "Petty Eddie" stick around? 👀
Is "Jealous Buck" here to stay? 🙃
"What do you want?" - A Series of Ficlets
Currently 2 works completed; 8.3K Words: Rated; Teen and Up Audiences:  This is a series of “Ficlets” that I’ll be writing over the course of the next few weeks and my goal is to keep them under a certain number of words. I’m challenging myself to do it this way for multiple reasons but mainly because I want to see if I can write a full Buddie story by including smaller fics in a series in comparison to the multi-chapter fic I’m still in the process of writing titled, “I’m still in love with you but… I needed to learn how to love myself too!” I only have 9 chapters left before I finish it but once I’m done, I’d like to continue writing Buddie fanfics. However, this time I’ll start with my dislike for the way season 7 ended instead of the way season 6 did. Finally, I have a lot of WIPs that I want to finish and I figured I can turn them all into ficlets to build the full story for Buck and Eddie.
Since these ficlets will be posted in order, it’s imperative to read them one after the other. Each part ends at a specific point with a cliffhanger and the next part will begin with the ending of the previous part. Therefore, part 1 should be read prior to reading part 2 and the series will continue in that manner until it’s complete.
"You don't know math!" - 3.3K Words; Rated Teen and Up Audiences: Buck is forced to choose while Eddie might be presented with another option.
"Math is a universal language." - 5K Words Rated: Teen and Up Audiences: Eddie reconnects with an old acquaintance and they spend a lot of time together. However, now that Buck’s single, he finally tries to understand math is a universal language but when he sees Eddie talking to another guy, he wonders if it took him too long to figure it out.
