Looking for someone (18+) to write a specific AU prompt with me. You would be writing as Eddie against my Buck. The prompt would be as followed: (Buck is not a fire fighter in this AU)

Everyone remembers the first time they couldn't safe someone and while Eddie Diaz hadn't let anyone die that day, it sure felt like it when they pulled a pretty battered Evan Buckley (who had just moved to LA) out of a car wreck after not having been able to find the wreckage for a good few hours, and sure that hadn't been Eddie's fault, but as a rookie it had hit him quite hard. The accident had left Buck declared legally blind. Eddie had tried to visit him afterwards, but the man had been so down that he hadn't wanted to see anyone, hadn't spoken a word and despite the misplaced guilt Eddie didn't come back. But he had never forgotten about that day. It's not until 8 months later that Buck, who's finally gotten somewhat used to his new reality decides to visit the fire house to thank the people who had saved his life. Because better late than never, right?

Buck: Hey what’s up?

Eddie: Chris needs you

Christopher: I need help on my aquatic animals paper for science class

Buck: Ooh my specialty.

Eddie: ……Wait a second, were you calling Buck dad?

Christopher: Should I not? Is papa better so you guys won’t get confused?

Buck: Uhh

Eddie: ……You know what, yeah.

Buck: What?

Eddie: What do you prefer something else

Buck: Papa works for me!

I think sometimes Eddie should forget that Buck isn't actually related to Chris and the one specific scenario I'm thinking of is that Buck gets diagnosed with adhd and Eddie is just like "huh maybe I should get Chris an appointment in case he needs accommodations because he and Buck are so similar and Buck said it's been researched it's possibly genetic" so he DOES get Chris that appointment and he's explaining all of this to the firefam and Hen just stops him and gently goes "you know they're not biologically related, don't you?" and Eddie just bluescreens for like 5 minutes at the table

I have this picture in my head of Buddie getting together and trying to get the team to notice without telling them, except it goes hilariously wrong.

They start calling each other pet names on shift.

They start very obviously wearing each other's clothes.

They start holding hands on shift.

They buy matching promise rings and very pointedly show them off.

They literally say "I love you" to each other in full earshot of the rest of the team.

They start squeezing into the same bunk to sleep.

They try the Bathena route and kiss directly in front of everyone.

They make out on one of the station couches. The only response is Bobby tapping their shoulders to tell them dinner's ready. They're dumbfounded.

Someone flirts with Buck on a call. He tells them he's taken. Hen asks who it is. Buck almost has an aneurysm.

Buck is one of Chris’ new teachers. One day when Chris is being tutored after school, there’s an emergency (fire / earthquake or whatever else we feel like) that causes the 118 to be called in.
