Based on the BTS and promos, episode 16 includes a funeral, a memorial, a 118 emergency with Gerrard as captain, Chim feeling guilty, and a cemetery scene (which we only saw the crew post about). What’s interesting is that after they filmed at the cemetery, we haven’t seen any more BTS. I wonder what the other scenes are and why they’re being kept under wraps.

Then they started filming episode 17, and the BTS content resumed. Eddie and Bobby were seen in uniform. One BTS location was a building, and the surrounding streets were blocked off, including the bus terminal that goes to El Paso. It’s interesting to note that this building is organized around three principal spatial zones stacked one upon the other: a public health zone at street level; a second level for community and wellness programs; and four terraced floors of residences above.

A crew member posted yesterday that the next few weeks are going to be intense. It was reported that they’ll be filming through Saturday and Sunday.

Next week, they’re still filming episode 17.

As for the other information on episode 17. It's too early to take guesses what all this might be about. But I'm definitely curious. 👀

If Bobby is not really dead and comes back, do you think it’s planned by Tim to distract us all from Buddie? Like before 8.14 all the episodes were Buddie heavy and 8.15 has BT moments. So if he does this Bobbie resurrection thing and in next episodes there is nothing regarding Buddie ( BT get back together in worst case), people would still be watching as Bobbie came back and don’t want to leave again as we got what we want for one plot ( some fans on twitter are alreday like they just want Bobbie back and doesn’t care if Buddie happens or if buck ends up with Tommy. And all these are Buddie Accounts. U don’t understand the logic and link between both but that’s how the tweets are)

I'm sorry Nonny, but no. That is just straight up nonsense. A word of advice here: Don't spend too much time at 911twt. They are being highly dramatic right now, coming up with all sorts of weird theories that make no sense at all.

The first episodes of 8b were Buddie heavy, I agree. And that was there for a purpose. Tim and Oliver did say that the personal storylines would take a backseat to the action in the two-parter. And all the personal stories would continue at the end of season 8.

When Eddie was in Texas he only had contact with Buck and from what we've seen it was a very regular contact. Buck has been directly questioned by Maddie if he was in love with Eddie and his ex Tommy saw Eddie as competition. Buck keeps saying that Eddie is straight as an explanation of why he can't be in love with him, but he never denies it by saying that Eddie is just a friend and nothing more. I could go on with so much more Buddie hints we got in 8b so far.

They are definitely going through with Buddie.

I am not 100% sure that Bobby will resurrect from the grave, but I am 100% sure that Buddie will go canon. But I'm just not sure what the timeline is here.

I do think they'll come back to the Buddie storyline from 16 onwards all the way into 18. Everything will also depend on whether or not Bobby is really dead to really find out what the tone of the episodes will be like.

If Bobby is really dead, the tone will be sombre and sad. We might get a different storyline than if Bobby survives. Because then the tone will be light and happy.

But in both cases I do believe we'll get movement in the Buddie narrative.

The people on Twitter who are saying that they would rather have Bobby back than Buddie, so BT is fine? Those people are few and far between. I've seen them around, but it's really not that many. And I guarantee you that as soon as we get a hint of Buddie in one of the episodes? They'll be all over it, just like the rest of us.

Also, 8x15 had BT moments yes, but they weren't romantic in nature. Buck called the man to help them out and save Chimney, because he had no other choice. He literally corrected Athena and called him his EX in a loud voice.

Yes, in the helicopter Tommy admitted that he did it for Buck as well, but we already knew that Tommy still has some residual feelings for Buck from episode 11. Buck smiled at him, because they didn't leave things in a good place when they parted ways in 11. He was happy to be on good terms with Tommy again. You know Buck... He doesn't like it when people don't like him back. It was a moment of relief.

Nothing in that whole interaction was a sign of them getting back together. I actually think Tommy might specifically be there to have a chat with Eddie about Buck. Maybe help Eddie see the light?

But that is just pure speculation of course.

Also, don't forget that it has been confirmed that Lou has finished up all of his filming for 911. Since they are still filming 17 right now, he is probably only in 16 and perhaps a scene in 17??? But nothing after that.

Who knows what they have planned for the rest of the season? We'll have to wait and see. 🤷‍♀️

I want the emergencies in Don't Drink The Water to be absolutely ridiculous btw.

Those kids that cemented their friend's head in a microwave are back at their dares and the poor guy has to drink lake water or something.

A mother doesn't want her kids drinking from the garden hose and something insane happens when they do it anyway.

The construction crew of Bathenas pool break a water main so the project is halted and they can't even live in their new house so they crash on Buck's Eddie's couch or with Henren or Madney.

And all the while, Eddie and Chris are coming home, and there's a juice bottle in the cupholder, and when Eddie looks in the rearview as they leave the shack in El Paso, he's smiling, no longer ashamed of what he sees, but proud.

I don't want to be that person but the fact we all focusing on the 8x17 title instead of being preocuppied if Eddie will be in the next episode is really corcearn.

Because really i want his storyline to keep going not It being left there where everything seems to be sorts out when we didn’t see what Chris feelings are about to be in El Paso instead of LA and if he miss Buck or not. Buck who he he ask if he's gonna stay with him and not leaving him like everybody else did. Also, how Eddie is not missing his family in LA and the firefighter life now that he has his son back. It’s not even about Buddie but about his place at the 118 which in season 5, it was very clear what he should do for a living instead of being in the dispacth for Chris sake.

So I'm scared this night not about Bobby death but about if Eddie will know his real family is in the danger and what he will do to help them and especially what he will do to reassure Buck if they ever Facetime in this stressfull moment.

So, I'm not saying I'm mad because still i need to watch tonight episode but if they're gonna bring Eddie next episode without him knowing everything that happened i might hate them for that.
