I love the way that Eddie just doesn't question Buck changing the topic when they're drinking beers and talking about Chris in 3x12. He doesn't say anything like 'I thought we were talking about my thing?' or 'what does this have to do with Chris?' or even make a face. He just seems to trust that Buck has a point and it will become apparent soon.

The Begins episodes are all the best, and the best of the best is Chimney Begins. The way we go from Chim having been stabbed to seeing Howie as a wannabe entrepreneur. How he still wants to make his father proud of him, even when he's mostly given up on that relationship. And his bond with Kevin, and how devastating it was when he died. And the scene in the hospital waiting room to remind us that Chim is still in peril in the present!

All that masterwork and then we get more with Kenny's emotional and powerful acting throughout. Truly, we're so lucky to have an actor of his calliber in the ensemble.

there's something so special to me about the Maddie, Chimney, Buck and Josh poker scene, because the entire scene reads as queer fully in text not even subtextually, madney discuss having no couple friends to do a couples hang and so invite buck and josh because they're single, buck and josh get on and banter, josh makes a joke about it feeling like a set up for a double date and seems okay with the idea, buck does not push back on the idea at all either he in fact smiles, and maddie doesn't bat at eye at the suggestion that buck and josh would be set up on a date, just that she lightheartedly suggests she likes josh to much to match him up with buck
