Neil swallows and Andrew can feel it against his own throat. "It's better for my back right now to sleep sitting up. They're...they're worried that the bruising might close my airway." Neil admits and Andrew nods.

"Then relax." he says hand coming up to squeeze away the tension in Neil's neck. "Let yourself go, I will be here when you come back." he soothes again.

Neil swallows thickly again. "Ichirou will probably be here soon." Neil says but Andrew can feel him relax muscle by muscle. He brought his hand down and started to rub Neil's back.

"I'll be awake." Andrew says.

"You won't wake me up." Neil murmurs and Andrew can feel him smiling into his throat.

"I won't." Andrew agrees.

We went to the My Waterloo Days parade on Friday evening. It’s not a very elaborate parade but it’s fun to watch. A bunch of noisy kids got in front of us mostly trying to get candy. We tried helping the ones who were shy.

Later that night and the following day they had concerts at the park. I heard it was packed on Friday. I haven’t heard how it went on Saturday, the day didn’t cooperate as it was chilly and drizzling on and off. They were also going to have fireworks Saturday. Again, I haven’t heard anything about it.

David and I volunteered at one tent checking in volunteers. What I didn’t know is that the same tent was the information booth and we didn’t know much about what people were asking but we survived. David also volunteered at the booth selling beer and checking ids.

I would had stayed to listen to the band but David didn’t want to stay and he was tired cause he had left at 8 that morning.

season 8 should've been about the characters going on map missions to solve friendship problems for other kingdoms, instead of the terrible school of friendship idea

You're right. Twilight's whole motivation for creating the School of Friendship was seeing how the Cutie Map had expanded to include outside Equestria:

There are only 2 episodes out of season 8 (and 9) where the map sends characters on a friendship mission for other creatures.

It's not a coincidence that these two episodes just so happen to be some of the only good ones that came from those last two seasons sorry for being so negative, I'm just being honest 😅

This is what the 8th season should've been about. I'm convinced Hasbro came up with the school just so they could get another toy set out.

But even if they hadn't come up with the school, the new writers were still really bad at their job, so...
