favourite character is wilson for sure!! i love his silly little mannerisms and his scrumply little face so much......... i need to chew on him. formy mental wellbeing. also he's a weird little freak and i love that for him <3

amber and house are tied for second though. they're both weird and evil and I Love Them So Much...... they should have been allowed to interact more....... (also i stand by the fact that polyamory could've saved them. i think about house/wilson/amber all the time. we were robbed!!!!)

episode..... hm. it's gotta be 6x11 'the down low' aka hilson plays gay chicken. the whole plot is just. so fucking silly i rotate it in my mind all the time!!

there are SO many good scenes in this show that it's hard to choose just one!! the one that immediately comes to mind is the iconic wilson speed scene. it has me in tears every single time it's so good. his silly jazz hands are everything to me <3

also the proposal scene in the down low. wilson proposal scene..... save me wilson proposal scene.........

and finally. god i have SO many ideas rattling around in this ol' noggin of mine so im gonna list a couple of my faves:

wilson gets flustered about house's reading glasses. nuff said

post-divorce wilson staying with house, but he is incredibly touchstarved and is just finding every excuse he can to be close to house, much to his chagrin

road trip!! idk what exactly would happen or why. but i fucking LOVE road trips and i wanna write one at some point but i don't know enough about american roads n stuff to do it :(

and finally: they keep the bathtub opossum from season 6. this one's a bit silly but im just imagining house walking into work with the opossum tucked under his arm. and everyone's like. what have you got there? and house is like. a smoothie. yknow like the meme? silly times :3

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

72! in reality i think it's 73, because one of my fics is currently anonymous (i just didn't want it attached to my account -- it's not hard to track down via my blog). considering making a few more anonymous, we'll see.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

298,580! my next fic will probably push me over 300k

3. What fandoms do you write for?

oh god. it might be easier to ask what fandoms i DON'T write for. currently... a lot of doctor who, star trek, star wars, and x-men. not too surprising if you know me and my interests. i have ongoing series for the west wing and MCU that i keep returning to, although i don't write for those fandoms very much otherwise.

speed round of fandoms i'll probably write for again at some point: leverage, librarians, locked tomb, steven universe, the muppets (maybe?), and les mis.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

i'll take your part when darkness comes (Doctor Who, 2018): dimension hopping!rose fic, nonlinear narrative, eventually ended up being a journey's end fix-it. this is one of those fics i'd love to rewrite if i ever had the time, just so i got to spend more time in its world.

ain't water under the bridge (Doctor Who, 2018): series 5 rewrite where 11 talks about rose just as much as 10 talked about her, with a fluffy ending. this is one of my oldest fics, so i can't bring myself to reread it, but i'm still very fond of the concept.

in blackwater woods (Doctor Who, 2020): 6x11 "the god complex" rewrite where we find out what 11's worst fear is and it's rose. for such an old fic, i am still really proud of this one -- i think it turned out really, really well, even considering how long ago it was written, and i like how canon-adjacent it was.

good times never seemed so good (Doctor Who, 2020): 11, amy, and rory run into 10 and rose and amy and rory realize that the doctor loves rose and always has. lol are you noticing a pattern

sit there in your heartache (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, 2023): mariner and boimler are Not Great at hiding the future existence of spirk from spock. i wrote this RIGHT after the time travel episode came out so i really rode the wave of post-episode enthusiasm. this is my first (and only!) fic to get podfic'ed!

it is SO INTERESTING to me how all of these are outsider POV fics. the top 4 being doctor/rose doesn't surprise me at all. none of their premises are super original, especially #1, 2, and 4 -- i have read a billion fics with the exact same premises and i would read a billion more. we have consistent taste, the doctor/rose fandom does.

5. Do you respond to comments?

yes! i try to get to them within a month, although that often doesn't end up happening.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angiest ending?

rose dies at the end of just look and you will see, so, y'know.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

oh, man. many of my fics are really fluffy. i would say... don't wanna see you go (but it's not forever), which is a mockumentary-style exploration of the x-men's 20th anniversary, inspired by the starkid 10cumentary. i just want them all to be safe and happy!!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

not generally, knock on wood. i did get someone accusing me of biphobia for calling the spock/christine romance in SNW comphet, but the fic had spock himself recognizing that he wasn't actually attracted to her, and also the comphet was in the tags, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what are you gonna do

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

nope!

10. Do you write crossovers?

yes!! LOVE writing crossovers. my favorite one i've written so far is the one where guinan and jenkins make friends. i'd love to write more in the future!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

not to my knowledge!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

not to my knowledge, sadly.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

yes, but nothing that ever got published! finx @aethersea and i worked on a leverage/librarians crossover together FOREVER ago but it didn't get very far. i would love to give it another shot someday but we'd have to have writing habits that mesh well.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

oh dear. i'm also a pretty strong multishipper. i think i'll say ONE of my favorite ship DYNAMICS which is a divorced/otherwise broken up couple who still love each other dearly and know each other so, so well and wish things had been different but understand why they can't be. you guys can imagine how my eyes lit UP when the muppets ABC established piggy and kermit's breakup.

15. What's one WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

16. What are your writing strengths?

uhhh. i guess... i like my characterization? i like the work i put into making sure that characters are acting in-character and for a good reason. i'm also very proud of my dialogue.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

pacing remains a struggle. i always have a lot of ideas and thoughts and i try to cram them in and It Gets Bloated. i also struggle to communicate real-world movements, expressions, etc -- i feel like i always end up like that one "she sighed" "he sighed" "she inhaled" "he exhaled" post.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i'm generally against writing it, at least in this point of my life. i think it's very cool in contexts where you have a bilingual audience (i love you, ¿qué pasa USA?), but i don't like the idea of having to do footnotes or something else to translate dialogue that is readable to me. i HATE when english language fics have their non-english lines in italics, it feels so othering.

i'm writing a fic rn that has a lot of spanish dialogue and i'm experimenting with translating the dialogue but not as direct quotations -- we're getting the meaning through the narration of the POV character, who's doing the translating herself. i think that's my favorite way to get around it right now.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

doctor who, surprising no one! afterimage was the first fic i ever wrote and i immediately posted it on fanfiction.net. i have never changed.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

wow saving the hard questions for last. uh. i've generally been really happy with the fics i've been posting recently. i think will you meet me there? is my favorite right now, just because it turned out EXACTLY how i wanted it and i got to write so many of my favorite xmen characters and dynamics. ororo <3 ororoscott <3 stormfrost <3

notes: obviously 3 and 2 are super high; season 6 doesn't have a lot of standout episodes to me but i really like the casting choices made in the season and i think it's really fun and chill to watch (i also love that the dean has a bigger role); i know season 4 gets a lot of shit, and i agree that it has some of the weaker & more forgettable episodes of the show, but it also has a few episodes that i really love and overall is a lot of fun! season 1 is fine but the lack of concept episodes makes it pretty weak for me; season 5 admittedly has a few really strong episodes but generally just doesn't land for me, with its tone and overall story.

3x07 studies in modern movement - MY ALL TIME FAVORITE. i have watched this episode like twelve times. can you tell yet that i'm a dean/jeff enjoyer (also the group dynamics are just really fun in this one, and of course the song)

3x08 documentary filmmaking: redux - a very silly episode, also i've watched this one a ton because it comes on right after modern movement and i tend to just let it run LMAO

3x21 the first chang dynasty - emo jeff outfit. that's all

1x19 beginner pottery - easily my favorite episode from s1! both plotlines in this episode are very funny and it's just a joy to watch

4x01 history 101 - the tango sequence. that's all

4x11 basic human anatomy - i ADORE the freaky friday episode. it's the end to the awkward britta/troy plotline and also obviously a standout episode for the dean as well. good job jim rash

6x07 advanced safety features - another silly dean episode!!! frankie also rules in this one. also i drive one of the hondas mentioned in this episode so the first time i watched it i was like "hey that's me!"

6x08 intro to recycled cinema - this episode is so stupid and i love it so much. just so much

5x10 advanced advanced dungeons and dragons - super charming! i really love the whole fight sequence with the weapon sound effects. this one is just,, very immersive to me

2x06 epidemiology - do i even need to explain this one?

2x04 basic rocket science - this episode will always be special to me because it was the first episode i really loved when i was watching community for the first time. this is the one where i knew the show was special and i was definitely gonna stick with watching it <3

1. I missed Lena’s face, not gonna lie + I missed Mxy lmao😂 what if he goes: you haven’t asked Lena out yet? + Alex’s annoyed face is me right now + everyone’s like what on earth is this + oh so that’s why she needs him + poor Nia she must feel terrible

2. My Brainia content finally happening!!! They are so sweet + bruh, Andrea and Lena bonding, gay ex lovers + “you are your mother’s spitting image” a little too on the nose lol + the thick accent is coming back to it yesss + oh so magic is the road they are taking; i’m guessing Lena will save Kara with her magic + Alex literally jumped in front of Kara no questions asked💜 my favorite sibling duo

3. I love Alex so much😂 + poor Myx + oh bruh, this is bad + “i’ve seen you hand in hand a bullet proof alien” yup that’s her wife + is Lena ever gonna be treated right? + Brainy and Alex are so annoyed with Myx, he’s just trying to help :( + Nia is so powerful you go off queen

5. Poor J’onn, he probably thought about that time he pretended to be Kara lol + oh boy this is bad + go Supergirl! Convince the girl! + yikes, phantom zone 2.0 + powerful Lena (she was already powerful but you know) + “this time, no holding back” ohhh i’m into this lol

Fun episode, finally was good to see Lena back and the super friends working together again. Myx always bring some spice whenever he appears so his addition to the episode is always welcome. Let’s see how the magic quest ends up for Lena and how they manage to bring Myx back…

6x12 “Adjustment Protocol”

Okay guys too be honest, I wasn’t a big fan of this episode. It had its wonderful moments don’t get me wrong. But it was kinda slow, which I expected. It’s just a buildup, set everything in motion as we move into the finale. I can’t believe we’re there already.

Abby dying has been foreshadowed for a few episodes. And it the promo for 6x12 we recognized Abby’s profile in front of Russell with a stringer in her neck. And I don’t know if you’ve payed attention, but I knew that syringe was the “mind wipe.” There’s been only 2 main syringes in Sanctum. The “mind wipe” and the “paralyzer.” But we have seen that one a few times. Clarke and Bellamy both got paralyzed in previous episodes and in 6x11 Clarke used one on Madi. When Clarke was “dying,” the camera focused on Russell with the “mind wipe” syringe trying to talk to Clarke to get himself through what he was about to do. I still remembered that scene when I watched the promo for 6x12.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Abby but I said when Kane died that I didn’t think Abby would live happily ever after. I thought she might if Raven helped her through it, once she got off her high horse. And we got that too. But with Abby taking the night blood, plus learning that Clarke really is alive, plus mending with Jackson, plus mending with Raven, all of that was just confirming that she was gonna die. (And for those of you who think she’s not really dead-she was Emp’d. Alie said that only those with her code have the surgical mesh to cling to. Raven and Abby were Emp’d, frying Alie’s code.) Goodbye Abby Griffin, Welcome back Simone Lightbourne.

I know I might get some hate here but I absolutely LOVED the scene with Echo and Clarke in the tea house. Echo already had a feeling that Clarke was back before she even looked at her. I like Echos character and the scene in 6x11 with Ryker was kinda a let down cause she was just talking to him about doing better and wishing she could change but she killed him immediately after being freed. I can take that as Echo said it to save her own ass and learned nothing or I can take it as she knows who she is, she may not like it but it’s kept her alive, so why change? Like Murphy at any point in the show. Murphy’s changing, maybe Echo someday will too. Okay back on point, Clarke and Echo hugging was amazing. The last real memory Clarke has of Echos character was her almost killing Clarke in the church then their argument about a guy. From that to this is what I call growth! They are just thankful the other is alive and well, not holding grudges from the past and they’re not butting heads about a guy. 👏

My favorite part of this episode was the Murphy(Emori) & Clarke official reunion. The look and dialogue from Murphy was already a big change from who he used to be. Of who Clarke saw at the campfire in 6x01. Then Clarke saying she’s proud of him. Hksidjw-be still my heart! Cockroaches for the win!

The ultimate best thing about this episode was the costumes. A round of applause for that department, they killed it. There were so many costume changes this episode and Every. Single. One. was fantastic. Murphy and Emori looked like a freaking power couple. The guy liner was amazing. Richard looked hot with it. And Emori looked radiant. I saw a close up of the wrap for her hand and it was elegant. Turned her hand, who people called freaky and looked down on her for, into something to be presented. It said “look at it and be amazed.”

Clarke’s power outfit was a good mix of her and Josie’s style and it slayed. Bellamy in his “comfy cardigan” was a move that clearly said “dad.” Meaning leader, protector, reasonable. Bash on the cardigan all you want, I freaking love it. It represents who Bellamy is now compared to who he was on Earth. He doesn’t want violence anymore. He truly does want peace. He wants to do better, be better. Lastly, Paige, Good God, her outfit was fucking fierce. Paige picked out the dress herself. Which really works well with her skin tone. The lacey, rose cover was hand stitched to go with the outfit. I will take one, please! And the jewelry just tied everything together. She looked like a force to be reckon with. Nothing like how we saw Simone before. No, this was supposed to be different. It was going with the story of “Abby’s dead. Simone’s back” in visuals. It was supposed to show Clarke that it wasn’t her mom anymore. Most men think women are exaggerating when we say the perfect outfit “tells a story” or “says something.” We really aren’t. This is proof. Clothing says as much as whatever comes out of our mouths.

There were also, lingering looks and cracked voices between Bellamy and Clarke. But that’s my type of thing. I love everything about them, so I don’t need to go into it, cause my fellow shippers already see what I see, and feel how I feel. Nothing major happened between them so I don’t need to go into details. (I will though if you ask! I’m always up to talking about Bellarke(past seasons or present))

Do you have any thoughts about the aimilaries between Daryl talking to king Ezekiel I this episode and when he talked to Abraham in front of the same mirror right after Beth died?

Yes! I’ve been meaning to post this and haven’t gotten around to it. Thanks to one of my FB peeps for pointing it out to me. I missed it when watching the episode. So, what we’re talking about here is the Daryl/Ezekiel scene from 10x11. People are drawing parallels to 6x11, when Abraham and Daryl stood in that same place in Hilltop, in front of the same mirror, and also had a conversation. 

What most people are concluding is that in S6, after talking to Daryl in that scene, Abraham broke up with Rosita and decided to pursue Sasha. Here, Ezekiel is going through some big changes in his health, but also in his relationship with Carol. So maybe this points to Daryl also having a change in hs romantic relationships. (I’m sure you can guess who we’re hoping that points to. ;D)

Here are my thoughts, addressed to one of my peeps:

“I had similar thoughts as you, specifically about Abe and Zeke. That this episode and scene led Abe to break up with Rosita and pursue his soulmate, Sasha. While things are slightly different with Zeke (he’s not gonna break up with Carol and he’s already with his soulmate) but we did just see them come back together after being apart. So, we’re still talking about big life decisions involving soulmate couples. I was also thinking that, in terms of Zeke’s arc, it just means something big is about to change for him. And given that we know he’ll be going to the hospital, that’s not hard to imagine.

I hadn’t thought of this soulmate/relationship thing including Daryl, but I really love that idea. It’s a great insight! Especially as Abraham specifically asked him about relationships (Rick and Michonne’s).

I also think this scene was to show a contrast between his state of mind back then, and what it is now. Before, he reacted negatively to what Abe said, because he was still grieving Beth so heavily. He certainly didn’t have any words of wisdom or encouragement for Abe, anyway. Contrast that to this scene with Zeke. He was kind, sweet, encouraging, and the two of them became buds in a way they haven’t been in the past. (I’m sure the Carylers are freaking out at the lack of hate between them. ;D)

It shows that Daryl is in a much more positive state of mind now than he was when he stood in front of that same mirror with Abe. I know I’ve said this before, but I’ve always suspected that Daryl needed to get past his state of negativity and depression that we saw for so many seasons and transcend it, getting to a place of faith and positivity before he would be metaphysically “worthy” of Beth’s return. And now he has.

I also wanted to add that (and this is kind of a minor detail) that this is a literal mirror moment. Those are common in fiction and are usually a time when the character looks back over their lives or the events in the story and then makes command decisions about what to do next. The mirror moment usually comes just before a big climax between good guy (or gal) and villain.

And we’re definitely seeing the climax of the Alpha story, both in this past episode with the battle and then continued in the next episode with her death.

Even as I write this, it’s making me re-evaluate the structure of this season. I’m not usually a fan of killing off the main villain this early in the season. I’ve seen other shows do it (Supernatural comes to mind), but you rarely see it in books. Only long-form shows that are going to keep going can really get away with it. Usually when I see it done, it’s a misdirection, and I think that’s why I don’t like it. You assume character X is the major villain and then half way through the season, they kill that person off, and find out there’s another bigger baddie that’s been working behind the scenes, and the audience simply didn’t know it. But as I said, it’s just not my favorite story telling technique. It tricks the audience and can ruin the ambience of the season. For me, at least.

I’m sorry, I’m rambling. I don’t think they’ll do this with Alpha, per se. Rather, I think they’re killing her off now because the rest of the season will be dedicated to the story line that will lead to Beth, and I’m ALL for that. Obviously.  So I guess the point of my ramble is that we are now (last episode and also this coming one) in the climax of the story they’ve been telling since last season when the Whisperers showed up. So the mirror moment makes sense.

And does it extend to Daryl? I think it does. Even tho he doesn’t look directly into the mirror as Zeke and Abe did, he’s still a part of the moment. I also think talking to Judith is part of his mirror moment. He gives her a life’s lesson about knowing what you’re fighting for, but that’s about him as well. And the part where he walks in slow motion, picks up the morning star, and heads out to battle? Yeah, definitely a defining moment for him. I gotta say, I loved that they parted to let him through. He was truly leading his people into battle. He’s come a long way since S1 Daryl, no?

And as you said after my Them video, Rick disappeared after AOW and Beth should reappear after the Whisper War. Well, with Alpha’s death, we’re reaching the end of the Whisper War, so she should be appearing any time, now. ;D

I don’t know if what I said above holds any value for either of you. It’s just my nerdy storycraft, authory self coming out. I’ll shut up, now. ;D”

6x10 is any slow burn shippers DREAM

Stiles and Lydia is one of the slooowest burns of all time and they reunited and FINALLY really kissed on episode 6x10

Bellamy and Clarke is also one of the slowest burns ever and to some degree even worse than stydia because at least they gave stydia a kiss in season three (it was never talked about again but we don’t talk about that) but they reunited and “kissed” on episode 6x10

In conclusion 6x10 is the best episode of anything ever and idc what anyone has to say

Also side note- 6x11 of the 100 is the episode that Bob Morley directed and Eliza said it was her favorite episode this season and HOLY CHEESE WHIZ I THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH THE ROLLERCOASTER BUT MY FELLOW BELLARKERS WE GONNA NEED TO RESTRAP OURSELVES IN CUZ ITS GONNA BE (another) BUMPY MF RIDE.

DIRECTED BY BOB MORLEY!!! This is not a drill people! Bob directed this episode! This is the episode we have all been waiting for! Not only is he directing this, but multiple actors have said this is their favorite episode of the season! Also, this is the episode that is rumored to have talking about emotions, sex, etc. At the recent con, Bob also said that Bellamy and Clarke WILL talk about emotions and shit in his episode! ALSO----Echo backstory! I”M SO JAZZED!

Commercial Break #1 Thoughts: Anybody worried that that is the only Bellarke heart-to-heart we are getting? Bob and the rest of the cast were very vague. But they said talking was going to happen, but sometimes they think one small scene is enough. It is NOT ENOUGH! And still super worried Clarke felt the need to mention Echo so quickly. That does not bode well for us. Love Echo. Can’t wait for her backstory this episode. Still want her to stay alive. Don’t want her and Bellamy together, though. No chemistry. They have chemistry potential since they met back in season 2, but it just never blossomed in my opinion. Anyways. I’m very anti-hate, but I will go down with my ship!

Commercial Break #2 Thoughts: So Gabriel was put in Xavier when X was still really young, right? So most of what his sister thought was X was probably him, right? So maybe that bond will carry over when he explains? Honestly, I forget what age they said X was when Gabriel was forced into his mind. Poor guy probably wouldn’t mind dying, though. Just killed the love of his life. His life has been SUPER long! And while he is still curious about the anomaly, he probably wouldn’t say no to death. I know we are only twenty minutes in, but I’m hoping more shit starts to happen. Nothing is really making me go YAY! or OHHH! Did I go into this with too high of expectations? Probs. But I blame the cast and crew who have been raving about this episode. But I’m sure a lot more is going to happen soon....I’m just anxious for it. And still loving that this is Bob’s episode, though! I know he worked super hard for this!

Which we’ve learned over the years, but them saying stuff like that makes me worried about our main characters. Anyone still worried about Clarke being a prisoner again? I am! I know she is a main MAIN character, but I always get anxiety with the shit they’ve put her though this season. On the other hand it would be poor planning if they did kill her off after spending most of the season getting her back. Poor writing, too.

Commercial Break #4 Thoughts: The Blake siblings talk was much better than Bellarke’s. I’m a little disappointed, but the fact that their talk held so much character growth for both of them is what dreams are made of! On another point, who is worried about Clarke pushing them into danger? I love her confidence and not wanting to kill people like Mount Weather in order to keep her promise to Monty, but.....Bellamy is not going to be happy. And it might risk her people. But maybe it will be less detrimental to her soul? Idk....I think I’m over-analyzing this. Commercials really kill me. I think too hard.

So...Echo is nightblood now? Interesting....

Oh...Echo backstory is coming out!

Echo is going to kill his ass. Maybe after we get backstory. But still is going to kill his ass.

We have just always assumed we knew things we didn’t actually know. And I’m loving that he name is Ash and that is part of the meaning behind the episode title! 

That was short commercial. YAY!

And Bellamy is now in on the new plan.

She's literally saving someone who could lead to her death because Gabrielle supports Eve living; she started slow admittedly but where Aphrodite ends up in S5 💋 the payoff. Livia/Eve/Motherhood are p much why Season 5 is my favorite season!! The music!! The drama!! The action!!

Alexandra Tydings does NOT get enough credit for her Aphrodite, like how you both play this mercurial, mischievous goddess as well as fit into this really dark storyline where you’re staking your life on a tust you’re not sure exists?? PHEW.

So, after Coming Home you’re gonna get a lot of episodes with Xena and Gabrielle dancing for crowds, the (in)famous second Missy Good (the fanfic writer) episode, and a couple new arcs in new regions. Virgil is gonna be your main secondary cast member along this road, there is a canon female love interest for Gabrielle (don’t get too excited, it’s minor), and more Ares content.

Varia returns in 6x11 in one of my favorite episodes of the whole season, then Aphrodite in 6x12, you get a nice li’l cluster of episodes with Amazons or Aphrodite, culminating in 6x19, the Holy Grail of subtext episodes. Just be prepared that after that, there are some uber episodes and then the finale is the last time you’re in the ancient universe. 😿

S6 Episode Titles

So the rest of The 100 S6 episode titles were revealed today. (In the past these haven’t always been accurate titles.) Lets pretend we know anything about anything and see what we can deduce from them, shall we?? Wild Unfounded Speculation Time Commencing!!! 

 6x06 Memento Mori (confirmed title) : “Diyoza learns more about the mysterious Children of Gabriel while Abby continues to search for a way to save Kane.” 

a quick google search tells me 2 things- this phrase is Latin for “remember (that) you will die” and that the dictionary defines it as “ an object serving as a warning or reminder of death, such as a skull.” I don’t think its much of a stretch to guess that this episode its going to be dealing with death/mortality. Either Gabriel's himself, or Murphy struggling with whether or not to actually take Josephine up on her offer, or maybe even Murphy & Bellamy dealing with the fact that Clarke is “dead.” And obviously, as the episode description says, Abby dealing with Kane’s dwindling mortality. 

6x07 Nevermind (confirmed title): “Clarke's past catches up to her.”

I don’t need to google this one. It’s written by returning Writers Room Alum, Kim Shumway, who divides the fandom in Love/Hate for her. Personally, I have no problem with her. She wrote one of my all time favorite episodes, S3′s Nevermore. Which this episode’s title is clearly a play off of. Nevermore is a character driven bottle episode that deep dives into character relationships and histories (and had quality Bellarke content). If Nevermind isn’t the episode where we see Clarke in Mount Weather (ie: when she Faces Her Demons), I’ll eat my hat, as they say. The fact that IMBD credits Jake Griffin as among the characters in this episode helps me feel even more certain. 

6x08 The Old Man and The Anomaly 

Gabriel. Obviously. We’re either going to learn about him in the anomaly, or go into it with him. OR we’re already in it with Clarke and she comes into contact with him. Thought I do admit, there doesn't seem like enough time to get Clarke to the Anomaly and my previous theory is looking less and less likely. 

6x09 What You Take With You

Is someone literally going somewhere? What you take with you when you leave a place? Probs not. More like...what you take with you when you leave a relationship, a person, a non-physical space of being. What you take with you is what you learn, or what you’re given by another person- forgiveness, love, growth. Someone is dying, breaking up, or coming back. (It’s interesting to note that IMDB lists Kane as in this episode. I know its not a credibly source, but still.) 

6x10  Matryoshka

this was another google search. and hole-lee fuuuuuuuuuck.  Matryoshka is the name for Russian Nesting Dolls. If you aren’t familiar with those, they are hollow wooden dolls that open up to contain another smaller hollow wooden doll until you get down to the smallest, solid, wooden doll. The original. The Origin. The First. Gee, I wonder what this could be a metaphor for? Honestly though, I wonder-- which Russian Nesting Doll are we revealing? Josephine The First? Or Becca Pram Heda??????  

6x11 Ashes to Ashes

A Bellamy heavy episode, rumored to be just characters sitting around talking and having sex, directed by Bob Morely...... and named after something related to death???? The phrase Ashes to Ashes references “ashes to ashes, dust to dust,” which is often said at funerals over grave sites. Though it could be literal, as this show does like to burn things down AND we see Murphy holding a torch in the trailer. But none of that jives with what we know about the episode. Or think we do, anyway. Unless we lose someone in the previous episode, and this is a quiet episode that actually takes a beat and allows everyone to reflect and mourn. Wouldn’t that be a nice change of pace? This is also the episode that IMDB lists Azgeda Warrior and Young E/cho. So its also the E/cho backstory ep. I would be down if Ashes to Ashes references her death. But more likely it’s Be/cho talking and having sex because I never get nice things. 

6x12 Adjustment Protocol

This sounds like a military phrase. Maybe it’s a Diyoza heavy episode?? IDK why, but this one seems the most likely candidate to be a fake title. It just sounds off. Like, it doesn't fit with the flow of the other titles. But then, maybe that’s the point. Maybe the whole episode will be that way. According to IMDB, this is directed by Olicity Fandom fave Antonio Negret. And the only main players are Bellamy and Clarke. Consider me baited. 

6x13 The Blood Of Sanctum 

Season Finale. Literally, we’re going to spill the blood of Sanctum?? That’d be pretty On Brand. Or, like, metaphorically, we’re going to like be the blood of Sanctum? Like, it’s gonna be ours?? Who the hell knows.

Warning: Spoilers below the cut. I am SUPER biased. Take everything I say with a HEALTHY grain of salt. 

Season 1: omg they look like INFANTS

1. “Home” 1x09. This episode is amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing AND it’s super important to the mytharch AND we get Winchester family drama. One of those early instances of “Wow we need to give Jensen Ackles an emmy like yesterday”. Mary turns up and foreshadows like??? so much??

2. “Scarecrow” 1x11. Super creepy, major “The Lottery” vibes, fuck I just. I love it. 

3. “Hell House” 1x17. Close call between this one and “Something Wicked” but in the end, Harry and Ed and all the hilarity that ensues just. *chef’s kiss*

Season 2:  ugh so many good episodes season 2 is SO good

1. “The Usual Suspects” 2x07. SAM GETS TO BE SO SNARKY IN THIS EPISODE AND I LOOOOVE IT. Also Diana is a bamf. 

2. “Croatoan” 1x09. UGH YASSSSSSS. Close call between this and “In My Time Of Dying”, though

3. “What is And What Should Never Be” 2x20. Look man, I don’t know what to tell you. I’m cheap as all get out. Dean angst? Gimme gimme. Also it has WYNONNA EARP IN IT.

Season 3:  half of these episodes suck, the other half are perfect heeeelllppp

1. “Bad Day At Black Rock” 3x03. This episode it just hilarious from start to finish. Also, Bela vs. Dean. 

2. “Mystery Spot” 3x11. A double whammy of HILARIOUS and OH FUCK THIS IS DEPRESSING. 

3. “Jus In Bello” 3x12. It was real hard to decide between this and Ghostfacers but ultimately, Nancy Fitzgerald (aka Ella Lopez) and Victor Henrikson are the actual best and deserve all the love ever.

Season 4: Somehow there is only one episode that is not stunningly amazing?? 

1: “On the Head of A Pin” 4x16. Cas becomes a main character and it is AMAZING and oh my god give Jensen ALL the emmys oh and ALSO we finally learn exactly what Sam and Ruby’s “extracurricular activities” entail. Feels like a movie. We get the reveal that the angels are working to break the seals. Anna is also amazing. Why is this episode so beautiful. I’m fucking crying and so is Dean. I could gush for hours. 

2. “It’s a Terrible Life” 4x17. This episode is just a fucking delight. (Am I giving it such a high score on the basis of The Kink’s “Well Respected Man” alone? Maybe. Honestly I SHOULD be putting Rapture here but oh well. I’m biased.) 

3. “Monster Movie” 4x05. It was hard to decide between this “In the Beginning” “Lazarus Rising” “The Rapture” and “Lucifer Rising” (which all deserve all the praise ever) but ugh ugh ugh this episode is ALSO perfect AND I love it a bajillion. It’s in black and white and the guest actress is SO pretty and also I think I’ve already gone into detail about how the MoTW is a Lucifer Parallel. Also Dean says he’s been rehymenated so TRANS!DEAN RIGHTS!

Season 5: You want to be sad? You also want to watch really good TV? SEASON FIVE IS WHERE IT’S AT! 

1. “Two Minutes To Midnight” 5x21. I know, I know. I should be putting “Swan Song” here but look,, I am easily bought with the promise of Julian Richings as Death. 

2. “Free To Be You And Me” 5x03. Funny Destiel buddy cop film, Sam gets to be filtered through the eyes of an audience-stand-in in universe, also contains Castiel’s ICONIC line “but today you’re MY little bitch”. 

3. “Dark Side of The Moon” 5x16. Narrowly beats out “My Bloody Valentine”, “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid”, and “The Song Remains The Same”. I am trash for any pieces of Sam and Dean’s childhoods and also this episode gives me SO MUCH material for beating up John with a baseball bat.

Season 6: We Don’t Talk About Season Six. 

1. “The Man Who Would Be King” 6x20. Cas. Destiel. Ow.

3. “Appointment In Samarra” 6x11. As I said, I am easily bought with Julian Richings. Tessa the Reaper!!! Sam stop trying to murder your father.

Season 7:  Terrible reputation given the fact that it has SO many great episodes. Sera Gamble? You’re mean. 

1. “Slash Fiction” 7x06. Why is this episode so hilarious???? Robbie Thompson starting out with a BANG!

2. “Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie” 7x14. In the total goop of “thick. black. ooze.” of this season, 7x14 is a light in the darkness. Every inkling of joy, of spark, of color, of childishness, all of it, poured out into this one episode, wherein Sam totally loses his cool and I love it. Sam looks so pretty at the end. Dean is simultaneously an actual child and an actual Dad and I love it. 

3. “Out With The Old” 7x16. I love me some levis, man, don’t know what to tell you. It’s just so fun!!

Honorable Mentions: All of Robbie’s episodes, “Hello, Cruel World” “Repo Man” “Reading Is Fundamental” “How To Win Friends And Influence Monsters” 

(The ONLY reason I’m not including TBAI is bc @mad-as-a-box-of-frogs is slowly converting me to hating Megstiel enough to not watch Destiel episodes) 

Season 8: That one season where we admitted that Crowley’s a DICK. 

1. “Hunteri Heroici” 8x08. CAAAAS!!! Also the only episode where anyone watching actually gives a shit about the Sam x Amelia flashbacks. 

2. “LARP And The Real Girl” 8x11. Super fun! CHARLIE RETURNS. Dean is a FUCKING NERD. Sam gets flirted with :) Real close tie between this one and Pac-Man Fever

3. “The Great Escapist” 8x20. Edlund really gave it his all for this last episode. Cas kicks SO much ass. Sam needs to be protected at ALL costs. Kevin ALSO kicks SO much ass. The actor who plays Sweet Pea on Riverdale is here??? Wow.
