EDIT: i removed the “trump refused to swear on the bible” point because it was being taken as me being an offended christian. i’m not christian, im agnostic. the reason i included it in the first place is because he’s the first president in history to ever refuse to swear on ANYTHING. meanwhile his “conservative christian” followers had no issue with this, and decided to continue to scramble for excuses instead of admitting he may not be as religious as he claims he is. i figured taking that point out entirely is probably better than filling this with an explanation in the middle of the other important issues.

Matthew Aldrich (“Coco,” “Lightyear”) is writing the film, which will be produced by Matt Reeves’ production company 6th & Idaho — but the story will be separate from Reeves’ ongoing Gotham-verse with “The Batman” and “The Penguin.” Instead, it will depict how the friendship between Grayson and Todd as youths becomes tested by their diverging ideas for what their future should be. (Reports that the characters will begin as a pair of thieves in the film were false.) In the DC comics, after their respective stints as Batman’s sidekick, Robin, Dick becomes the superhero Nightwing, while Jason transforms into the violent vigilante Red Hood.

Today, ahead of its inaugural upfront presentation on May 14, Prime Video announced that the highly anticipated new animated series from Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions, and 6th & Idaho, Batman: Caped Crusader, will premiere all ten episodes Thursday, August 1, along with the official first-look images of this thrilling new show.

Glad to hear Batman: Caped Crusader got picked up for 2 seasons by Prime Video

I was rooting to get to see B:CC. It sounds interesting to me.

Batman: Caped Crusader is an all-new animated series and reimagining of the Batman mythology through the lens of executive producers Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves. According to Prime Video, the series will utilize state-of-the-art animation techniques to once again reinvent the character with “sophisticated storytelling, nuanced characters, and intense action sequences, all set in a visually striking world.”

In addition to Timm, Abrams, and Reeves, Ed Brubaker and Sam Register are set to executive produce the series. Based on characters from DC, Batman: Caped Crusader is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions, and 6th & Idaho.

Amazon has confirmed a two-season order of Batman: Caped Crusader, an all-new animated series featuring reimagined characters and villains from the Batman mythology, produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions, and 6th & Idaho.

Along with this, Amazon also announced the acquisition of the animated holiday film Merry Little Batman and its spinoff series, Bat-Family. Merry Little Batman is a family action comedy, while Bat-Family follows Batman, Alfred, and Damian Wayne (aka Little Batman) as they navigate the fun and frustrations of life as a superhero family.

The new animated projects ensure that there will be an animated Batman story ready to excite fans of all ages, said Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios.
