Josten rolls his eyes, “You’re living with Aaron and Katelyn. It’s not that different.”
Andrew blinks in surprise, turning his attention from the road, assured that Smith would remain at his current meandering speed,. “Why do you know that?”
“Katelyn and I talk.”
Andrew turns his attention back to the road and sure enough it appears that Smith is still ambling along at precisely 5 under the posted speed limit.

"CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- This orbiter tribute of space shuttle Columbia, or OV-102, hangs in Firing Room 4 of the Launch Control Center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The tribute features Columbia, the “first of the fleet," rising above Earth at the dawn of the Space Shuttle Program. Columbia's accomplishments include the launch and deployment of NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory on STS-93, the first shuttle landing at White Sands Space Harbor in New Mexico on STS-3, the first deployment of commercial satellites and the first four-member crew during STS-5, the first Spacelab mission and first six-member crew on STS-9, the first female commander, Eileen Collins, on STS-93, as well as several laboratory missions with international partners. Crew-designed patches for each of Columbia’s missions lead from Earth toward a remembrance of the STS-107 crew, which was lost during re-entry on Feb. 1, 2003. Five orbiter tributes are on display in the firing room, representing Atlantis, Challenger, Columbia, Endeavour and Discovery."
In the same vein as that post about swapping all of the men characters with all women in a fantasy world to make a point about the lack of women with agency in a story or game or what have you, I really do think you need to dispense with the idea that only really young people do things. I get that a lot of fantasy careers are supposed to be dangerous and that folks don't last long in those lines of work etc but can you really tell me that there isn't a single adventurer or pirate or sword for hire or whatever over the age 35? Why are the only people in their 50s and up blacksmiths and wizards and stuff. You know how people who are really experienced gained that experience? OVER TIME. Oh? You mastered your stealth and combat skills and have been a seasoned expert for years long enough to gain a reputation? And you're only 20? So, you started doing this stuff at like 15 or have you only been at it a year or two? Come on
The rest of the night is spent with Aaron and Katelyn painting lines on his walls and talking between themselves animatedly about which one looks better. With Katelyn arguing for her favorites passionately and with Aaron insisting that they’d need to look at it again the next day to see what it looked like with natural light.
Andrew had already picked which shade of gray he was going to use as the standard color. It was a little darker than what Katelyn was arguing for but lighter than Aaron’s. Eventually the three of them ordered pizza and ate it while discussing the main color.
“Green is so nice and soothing! It’ll go great with the wood tones of his desk too!” Katelyn insists as she points at an emerald shade.
