Shipping isn't inherently an act of activism, nor is it inherently an act of homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc. Sometimes you just want to see a pair of characters kiss or fuck or cuddle, and only after your brain makes that decision does orientation even come into play, and you're just going to use whatever works, canon aside.

Explanation: In 1716, English astronomer Edmond Halley noted, "This is but a little Patch, but it shows itself to the naked Eye, when the Sky is serene and the Moon absent." Of course, M13 is now less modestly recognized as the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, one of the brightest globular star clusters in the northern sky. Sharp telescopic views like this one reveal the spectacular cluster's hundreds of thousands of stars. At a distance of 25,000 light-years, the cluster stars crowd into a region 150 light-years in diameter. Approaching the cluster core, upwards of 100 stars could be contained in a cube just 3 light-years on a side. For comparison, the closest star to the Sun is over 4 light-years away. The deep, wide-field image also reveals distant background galaxies including NGC 6207 at the upper left, and faint, foreground Milky Way dust clouds known to some as integrated flux nebulae.

went out with the telescope again last night and got this picture of M13 (the great globular cluster of hercules), a dense ball of hundreds of thousands of 11 billion year-old stars orbiting our galaxy about 22 thousand light-years away :3

also, near the bottom you can see a small spiral galaxy, NGC 6207, that's about 30 million light-years away

As others said already under the post, in fanon it's perfectly fine to change the sexuality of a character even if they're gay. Why? Because it's fanon. Fanon can't actually erease the canon sexuality. Fanon is when you play with dolls.

Someone's m/f fic where the male character is in a relationship with a guy in canon won't change what is in the source material.

Repeating: CANON IS STILL THERE. It won't change because of someones fic with 5 Kudos.
