I have to say, I am shocked by the sheer amount of Major Arcana cards you pulled. I played 52pickup to shuffle my deck, and yet all but one of your cards is major arcana. You also drew my signifier card, which could mean we were connected somehow in a past life. It’s strange, I’ve pulled my signifier for so many of the people I’ve met on here…

Your first card, representing who you were in your past life, is The Fool.

The Fool represents freedom, spontaneity, and idealism, suggesting that in your past life, you were a free spirit, maybe a wanderer, guided only by yourself. You were a wanderer of sorts, a free spirit, one who followed your own path without caring what others thought of you because you are the only one whose influence truly mattered. You did not hesitate to make your own choices and follow your own will.

Your second card, representing what you did in your past life, is The Empress.

The Empress represents art, beauty, and maternity. She suggests that you had someone guiding your growth as a person, someone who steered you onto a path and held you to it. You may have been a free spirit, but someone, likely a mother figure, guided your hand weather you knew it or not. She tells you that you were watched over, that you kept true to you, but were still influenced by the hand of someone else. With the context of The Fool, perhaps her guidance, however much you trusted it, steered you wrong, as The Fool also often represents naivety.

Your third card, representing what challenges you faced in your past life, is The Emperor.

The Emperor represents practicality, authority, and paternity. He suggests that you struggled with authority, that you struggled to know when to push against it, and when to bend to its will. Because you were a free spirit, because you did not want the guiding hand of someone else, you pushed back against it even when it could have helped you. It also suggests there was a point when you may have lost sight of your own humanity.

Your fourth card, representing how you died in your past life, is The Magician, Reversed.

The Magician, when reversed, represents uncertainty, manipulation, and trickery. This suggests that your death was preventable, but the nature of how you died was concealed from you. Perhaps the guiding hand you trusted led you down a path that took your life, or maybe she withheld information that could have saved you. Your life could have been longer had you been told what was happening to you.

Your fifth card, representing what lessons you learned in your past life, is the Ace of Pentacles.

The Ace of Pentacles represents newness, manifestation, and opportunity. You learned from an early age to grasp any new and exciting thing and jump headfirst into it with all the passion you could muster. You learned to embrace the unknown, to jump headfirst into any opportunity and enjoy it with everything in you, because life is fleeting.

Your final card, representing how you’ve been influenced in this life, is The High Priestess, reversed.

When reversed, The High Priestess, my signifier card, represents duplicity, isolation, and repression. In this life, there is something you are missing, and while you don’t know quite what it is, it is being repressed. She suggests that you learned to mistrust others in your past life, and that has led you down a path of loneliness that you may not fully know how to pull yourself out of. She tells you that there are things you are avoiding thinking about because you are afraid to be betrayed again. She also, however, suggests that you want to be able to trust and love the way you were never able to in your past life.
