50 CENT VS. DIDDY
50 CENT VS DIDDY
Diddy (formerly known as Puff Daddy) is f**ked. There have been allegations for years about misconduct and criminal behaviour. There’s a video of him abusing his ex-girlfriend in a hotel hallway. There are also allegations of him drugging people and exploiting people sexually for this underground ‘freaky’ parties. He didn’t act alone; in fact, he had many cohorts including famous celebrities. When Diddy goes down, they are all going down with him. One person who won’t be going down with Diddy is 50 Cent, who has known Diddy has been shady for decades.
50 Cent released the song The Bomb in the early 2000s which points to Diddy knowing about the murder of Notorious BIG. Diddy was at the crime scene when BIG got killed, however he was in a different vehicle. There are also allegations about Diddy being involved in the death of Tupac. The evidence? Little to none as far as we know. 50 Cent didn’t give us any more information on what he knows (or what he’s heard). 50 Cent has kept his distance from Diddy for a lengthy period of time. Combs cried to the media that people were trying to ‘assassinate my character and destroy his legacy’. 50 Cent son King Combs released a song Pick A Side, defending his father and accused Diddy ‘(my pops’ been hated on many men’ and daring people to say ‘no Diddy’. 50 Cent went into X (Twitter) and posted a screenshot of the track and says he does not ‘understand why they want to drug women.’ After Diddy’s home was raided, 50 Cent posted online making fun of Diddy and dragged Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z into it, questioning why Jay-Z has been silent.
Diddy however stated that he has no beef with 50 Cent and said, ‘You know he loves me.’ Diddy approached 50 Cent at one time and told him he wants to take him shopping, 50 Cent thought Diddy was coming onto him. Diddy didn’t give up, he invited 50 Cent to one of his parties. 50 Cent turned him down and later said ‘I don’t be going to them Puffy parties’. 50 Cent said that Diddy made him feel ‘uncomfortable’.
50 Cent came out the winner, whilst Diddy will start rottin’ in prison, 50 Cent continues to become more and more popular.

Nas
"Get Down"
Early 50 Cent records truly showcased how fucking fierce he was when there was no plan b and nothing was guaranteed yet. You can hear how hungry he was and what he poured into it.
It's quite shocking how underrated and relatively unknown this song is considering how strong of a track and how interesting and influential the background anc content of the song was to his entire career.
It's pretty crazy how much his life could have gone in a completely different direction and how close it was to never happening.
I thought it was interesting that he brought up the Nas record as he was right on in the way that both tracks share in the unique way the offered unuque insight into the world behind the music in NYC and Queens specifically.
As well both record show these two at the top of their game over around the same point in time over amazing beats which showcased how influential the soulful samples were to the vibe and quality of the highest quality of hip-hop music that was coming out in the 2000's which was also synonymous with the keystone Jay, Kanye, Rick Ross, Dipset records of that era - which for my money is a sound that embodies the Golden Era of Hip-Hop as much as the 90's if not surpassed it.

(PS: Someone reblogged this with a comment that the photo wasn't a Gorgosaurus. So I triple checked (I'd already double checked before I posted it): According to both the BBC and the Natural History Museum, this is, indeed, a Gorgosaurus.)
