I sat on these for a while bc I kept not being totally sold on the designs yet and they were still kind of sloppy (tho the Shak one was more recent), but gonna share anyway! Designs might still change a bit.

There's a part in the AU where they all p much get mer forms with using a temporary spell in order to visit a mer city for some specific information! Always loved stuff like that when it'd come up in media. Not sure if Hoagie will have another form or just be in a magic bubble still... Daniel is here too, but he's just in his amphibeast form then. I take inspiration from different sea life for the merpeople designs and aren't stuck to one thing while still usually sticking to some shared traits. Shak has a tail separate from her legs bc she had a variant spell to lessen the transformation bc she was scared about transforming so differently (tho who can blame her when all her close loved ones have ALL had traumatic TF happen to them!). The merpeople don't usually have hair or non-scaly skin, but air breathers will still keep some features from before and so they look a bit more distinct from true merfolk.

Ended up not doing any schoolwork last night lol (can't really be blamed for that tho after writing an entire essay exam And prepping & giving a final presentation earlier in the day yesterday) BUT I finished my persuasion exam on time today. Unless I did terribly on it (unlikely) I probably won't take the optional final exam for this class (which would allow for the lowest of 4 exams to be dropped)(if I do well on all 3 midterms there's really no point to taking the final) WHICH MEANS I'm probably done with my persuasion classwork now

Just data governance and gender communication left. Gotta finish my part of the report today and then read 1.5 books by Monday. Gonna be reading a Lot over this weekend lmfao. I'll manage.

First tho I have my cats' vet appointment today. It Should be fine... and it reduces a lot of anxiety now that I have a car (I always felt weird taking my cats in the Lyft rides and I'd feel EXTRA weird taking Two cats. Not a concern now). It said in the email tho to bring stool samples (smth they didn't tell me on the calls??) and I've got one for Tally but I need to try to get one for June. Idk whether they Actually need it but i wanna b sure just in case. And Also after the disastrous arrival to my failed gynecology appointment on Monday, im like. Extra Cautious about being on time. So I'm gonna leave Plenty early. And maybe just bring one of the books I have to read so I have smth to do while I wait.

Feels wrong to just do Nothing with the time given how much shit I have to get done today. Also gonna email my advisor I think, if the course override request hasn't processed yet. I did manage to add a C/C++ coding class for UNIX/Linux systems to my schedule, so I have Two of the classes I need to graduate. There are spots in the front end web coding class available that works with my schedule but it's restricted by major for some reason?? Even tho I'm in that damn major???? And last I checked they hadn't approved my override request. So I'm gonna check again and if it's Still not approved I'll email my advisor like "heyyy is there anything we can do about this?" Bc there's not many other classes available that work with my schedule, accomplish the requirement of being upper level division, I haven't already taken, i have the required pre-requisites, AND that don't have some stupid major restriction on it. Like this one's basically the only one that works for the other 4, but that stupid major restriction getting in my way... and it's not like it's even in high demand 😭😭😭 the class is only half filled from what I've seen online 😭😭😭😭 just let me into ur damn class so I can graduate, God.

I notice Earth suns tend to have a very bullying type of humor. Very harsh dry humor that’s borderline offensive is their style. Sometimes it’s hard to know if they’re joking or serious especially Capricorn’s 😭

Aries men are surprisingly not as hot headed as people would expect. It actually takes a lot before they really yell at you. Usually only if u insult something they’re passionate in. The women are a lot more hot headed & easily set off imo

Mercury Rx people usually struggle with speech or reading problems. I notice it can result in having a stutter or a lisp, dyslexia or just very bad social anxiety. In extreme cases I’ve seen selective mutism. I also notice they have a very intense relationship with books & reading, it’s either they absolutely love reading or it’s really challenging for them in some way. A lot started off in their earlier years finding reading challenging then ended up loving reading as they grew. It’s like a mental exercise for them.

Saturn RX people always make bad choices lol. They always choose the path that will lead to the most hardship just for the fun of it or the excitement (which it’s normally not fun for too long) they usually grew up having a hard time with authority. Could of had very authoritative parents that were too hard on them which caused them to rebel. In this lifetime they are here to learn the value of HARD-work because in past lives these people were usually really irresponsible & put fun and pleasure over building their futures. These people will face so much disappointment until they surrender their rebel lifestyle. Deep down they do want to mature & be better but many believe they aren’t good enough. The Changes Through Time

And my project is finish! My gift to the CAS series and @somerandomdudelmao! (This is technically supposed to be for the 1 year anniversary of CAS, but I don't have the time to post it on the 12th and I don't understand the queue system lol)

I deeply love this series as I have made fanart for it before several times and honestly it really improved my art. Cass is also an amazing creator and I look forward to anything they post in the future.

(A bit of a spiel about the illustrations from this point on)

I was honestly going to go for more of a tarot card style with boarders and everything, but as I was composing the 1st illustration, I ditched the idea and just when for simple text. The third image (like how tarot cards read the past, present/current, & future) was going to be the present, but honestly I was confused enough trying to decide which illustration was the past & future with the first two. Plus the "current" state of the story doesn't have much significance yet (and references of them aren't made because it's generally their other outfits) so I went with their spirits!

1st illustration: Representing the start of it all with the current state of all the characters. Of course we didn't know the condition of Raph in the beginning, but since he remained static until Casey found him I believe it's safe to assume that he was in that state the whole time. This illustration is unfortunately my least favorite because it's not rendered the same as the others, due to it being the first fully rendered image I've done in a while. But oh well, I still like it for the most part.

2nd illustration: Representing all of the turtles resurrections with a group hug. Not much else to note about the meaning other than the fact that I almost gave Leo an arm that he does not have. This one was also the greatest to render as I had the most fun with the bright colors. This one is definitely my favorite.

3rd illustration: Representing the turtles spirits when they were dead. Though the last one was the best to render, this one was the best to compose as a whole. Mikey and Donnie were the easiest to do since their broken states were shown in the comic, but with Raph and Leo I had to be a bit creative. With Raph I wanted to show the lack of his senses due to being in a robot for a long time and everything being subconscious. It's not as strongly detailed as the others, but he did have the most stable conditions compared to the rest of his brothers. With Leo I wanted to display his lack of self physically. Since he was fading away, at first, I wanted his spirit to be more faded and weaker compared to the rest.

Nothing else to be said that wasn't said before, but I am very glad that I started reading CAS. I've never felt more invested and moved by a fanmade comic before, so this experience is actually life changing for me. And seeing others fanart for it only inspired me! I am truly amazed by Cass and this series. Happy early 1 year anniversary
