Solar Return Chart Observations v2

In honor of the new year, I am recapping and digesting meaningful Solar Return placements I have personally experienced that hopefully can reach out to those that are also under the same placement influence. If anyone would like any further discussion of these, please let me know, as I would be happy to have a conversation. The past few years have been life-changing.

SR Moon in the 6th House has made me incredibly determined, if not almost obsessive, about my mental health and wellness journey. While I am naturally health conscious, this brought out a period where I was deeply involved within shadow-work and breaking down the cyclical nature of my emotions. Holding boundaries was not just a must anymore, but a need. While it is important not to gain too obsessed with emotional perfection, I highly honored this time period because it truly shown me my vulnerability. This is the perfect opportunity to lean into any lessons highlighted around this period, but make sure to give time for rest and space. Otherwise, those lessons will not digestible enough to gain wisdom from. There were moments where I severely underestimated the potential work of vulnerability that also brought on periods of extreme enclosement to watch out for. My emotional well-being was also linked to my state of health, having negative expressions was more noticeable physically.

SR Neptune in the 7th House has brought on an incredible change within my relationships. It was terrifying, in a way, that I might become disillusioned and newfound connections would become implications of this instability in the beginning. However, my relationship with Neptune flourished in the highest form it ever has been in my life and I have never had such profound clarity before, but only when I worked upon clarifying myself first. This is not easy, but it can be very well-meaning. It gave me a light to understand further where I was genuinely allowing myself to be confused and disillusioned within my relationships. The facade of hidden and open enemies began to lack the same believably as they had prior. While there were moments where I did second-guess and faltered against my own intuition speaking, those mishaps told me where I didn't initially trust in myself and how to bring that internal relationship back in. (special mention: SR saturn in the 7th house, SR neptune in the 29°)

SR 9th House in the 29° brought huge transformative, endings when it came to my academic and spiritual goals. Ultimately, my whole foundational way of thinking reached a peak and ending upon this year. In addition, it forward the ending of several academic platforms I began taking in previous years. Travel, in general, was the initiator to majority of this enlightenment as well. In terms of this placement in the anaretic degree, don't be surprised if there comes to be fundamental spiritual lessons taking place, providing space to have a complete mindset shift of previous expectations. Most likely that would come in forms of people, places, and ideas that were ultimately "foreign" in nature to you. Rewards, endings, and graduations may also take place during that year.

SR 4th House Ruler in the 0° provided, another huge and foundational shift to my background and home environment. Core values I held previously, as well as perspectives, transformed in a direction I never even saw coming. While it wasn't the breakdown, it was a continuation of new beginnings picked up from previous years. There is a ton of neutrality in this placement, but most likely will grant in some form of a surprise to those core values of home, family, and comfort. Emphasizing less of a breakdown, but furthering a year of growth and rebirth.

SR Venus in Gemini brought in a ton of new and almost randomized connections, each a varying degree of importance. There was a huge emphasis on communication and leaning more into quantity rather than quality of people met. Not to say that some connections weren't strong, but it brought on a lot of networking that became more short-lived. There was a lot of playful, dynamic, and curious energy that also provided a basis for a glow-up in myself, as well as the way I communicate. Enjoy this placement, because while it may not inherently come outright with stability, there is a sense of prospering in every environment you walk into. Social butterfly energy that allowed for those deeper connections to come to light due to the experimentation.

SR 2nd House Ruler in the 10th House shifted more financial efforts into my public perception and long-term goals. Though this is more natural to me, there was a mass theme of "investment" spending to further ambitions I had. Finances were also more openly talked about in my public spheres, as well as my self-worth and material possessions. This does shine a more public eye on the energy of this house that could potentially be triggering to others. This may insinuate more spoken about or collaborative efforts within finances. In other areas, this could come as investing in building up your desired reputation and self-image. It can be an empowering placement to have for the year.

The one thing I hate about being a witch is that once you turn 18, all your memories with your friends and partner will be gone. As they say, it is a marking of being an adult. Searching for a new life partner, and focusing on your work.

Everyone hates it. Everyone wants to get rid of the stupid curse. But no one can. It has been done since thousands of years ago, and it cannot be undone.

That is why, some people intend to make the best out of their lives before their memories are gone. Make millions of memories with friends, finding a true love, and pretending turning 18 is nothing more than getting older.

But others, choose to lock themselves up. Intending to find happiness and start a life after they've turned 18. Not making any friends, let alone a partner. So they didn't have anything to lose.

As for me, I wanted to lock myself up. The idea of not wasting my time finding friends and a partner who I won't remember, sounded like a good plan to me. But then, it all changed when I went to Hogwarts.

I befriended everyone. I knew everyone. You could even say I became the social butterfly of Hogwarts. I wasn't planning to be one, but from the minute I entered the castle, I just couldn't let myself spend seven years alone.

But most importantly, I found a person who could light up my world in just a second. A person who could make me smile, even in the darkest times. A person who would make me feel safe, even if the world was crumbling beneath my feet.

Harry was the light of my life. We got together at fourth year, with a few bumps here and there, we made it until the end. But after the war ended, we got into a pretty big argument, which made us split.

---- Two Months Ago ----

"What did you just say?" I furrowed my eyebrows angrily, after hearing what he said.

"I'm just saying! Maybe it's better for us to leave now than to experience the pain then. Besides, July is–"

"Two months away, which is still a good amount of time, if you ask me!" I yelled in frustration.

We were in Grimauld Place, we moved in together after the war ended. It was really lovely at first. Getting to live with your boyfriend, spending every hour with him and all.

But these past few weeks, Harry had been really distant from me. He always went out to go somewhere, he told me he was going to the Weasleys—but why did he went every single day.

When he got home today, it was like the usual. We had dinner together, then we relaxed a bit by the fireplace, telling each other how our day went. But then, he suddenly said he wanted to move out.

He claimed that the day both of us will turn 18 is coming very soon. And it would be better for us to separate now then to endure the pain later. That is true, both our birthdays are in July. I'm at the start of the month and he's at the end. But that wasn't a valid excuse for a break up.

"Look, I know you're mad—"

"I'm bloody furious, Harry! So what if it's two months away?! The thing we should be doing is cherish these moments together, make memories, have a good life. Not breaking up!"

"But experiencing memory loss when we're at our highest point, isn't any better, Y/N!" he exclaimed, "Especially for me, since your birthday is earlier and I'll have to wait for 29 godamn days before I lose mine."

He dropped down on the couch with his hands on his face, clearly stressed out. He meant well. I know this is going to be very hard for both of us, especially him. But I wasn't ready to let go.

"Don't think I want any of this, love. I really, really don't." he looked up at me and shrugged, "But what can we do? We knew this was coming."

"Love?" I accidentally blurted out, "If you love me then you would stay here with me and be with each other until our final days! If you love me then you would fight for what we have build since fourth year, not leave me alone in the dark!"

"Y/N, I do love you, you know tha–"

"If you love me then you would fucking tell me where you went everyday, because I know damn well you're not going to the Weasleys."

Anger was slowly building up inside me, "And for all I know, you could be meeting up with another girl."

He stared up at me for a couple of seconds, before slowly standing up. "So that's what you think?"

I nodded my head. "Yes. You're not denying."

He chuckled. An angry chuckle. He took a deep nasty breath, before looking at me in the eyes. His eyes which were once filled with love and kindness, now filled with anger and disappointment.

"You wanna know where I was? Fine." he went to a desk and pulled out a bunch of papers, shoving it into my hands, "Read."

I looked down at the papers and did as he told. It was job applications. Turns out he had been going to the ministry, trying to get a job as an auror. Something he had always dreamed of.

"Harry I–"

"No, you listen. I have been trying to get a job so I can provide us with what we need. I have been planning to buy you a house so once we lose our memories, so you have somewhere to stay." he growled.

"But what did you accuse me as? A cheater."

A big part of me felt guiltier than ever. I didn't mean to accuse him of such a thing, if I knew what he was up to, I would be overwhelmed. But a small part of me was also angry. Angry that he didn't tell me about it, resulting in this big fight.

In the heat of the moment, instead of saying sorry, I accidentally let my anger side off.

"Well how the fuck was I suppose to know!? You go out everyday before I even woke up, everytime you get home you're often pissed at me, and your excuse was the Weasleys!"

"If you had told me sooner, none of this would've happened—"

"Oh so it's my fault, when all I was trying to do was give you a nice surprise!?" he raised his voice even more.

The fight went on for what felt like hours. We were both angry, we were both disappointed at each other, we both thought ourselves were to blame. But we couldn't seem to stop.

"You know what. You wanna leave? Then leave. Who knows, maybe you'll find someone out there who can keep you company while I lose my memories." I scoffed.

He breathed out heavily, with his fists and jaw clenched, staring at me with the deadliest eyes ever. "Fine. I will. Grimauld place is yours. And if you care—this time, I'm really going to the Weasleys."

The next thing I knew, he packed all of his stuff and apparated. He even left his promise ring at what used to be our room. That's when I knew, I've lost him, forever.

---- Present Time ----

I fiddled with my ring as I remember the fight that caused all this, then his ring which I wore on top of mine. I couldn't help but think, that if I had just said sorry, none of this would've happened. He would still be here with me.

"Y/N/N? Y/N! Earth to Y/N..."

I finally snapped back to reality and shook my head, "Hm? What? Sorry, I dozed off a bit. Don't worry, it's not my memories. Besides I still got–" I looked at the clock, "Three hours until midnight."

"Don't remind me." Hermione groaned, "I just can't believe this is really happening. I'm going to lose my bestfriend.."

I sighed deeply and grabbed her hands, "Oh 'Mione, don't say that..Who knows, maybe we'll find our way back to each other one day. Besides, I work at the ministry."

What better way to spend your last hours of remembering your childhood with your bestest friend. Even if Harry and I broke off two months ago, Hermione and I are still friends. So, we decided to go out and drink a bit before I'm completely gone.

"Have you heard any news on Draco?" I asked, Hermione seemed to go a little uneasy at the question. I don't blame her, Draco was her ex lover, and just last month—she lost him.

"Uhm..Blaise said he's still working as a healer, he got an apartment near St. Mungos, everything seems to be going great for him." she smiled sadly.

I sighed and stroked her hand, "I-I'm so sorry Hermione, I shouldn't have asked..."

"No, it's alright. Really." she smiled.

Subconsciously, I continued fiddling with the rings. It's the only thing that made me feel like he's still here with me. "You're thinking about him aren't you..?" she asked.

"Him who?"

"Oh come on, Y/N/N. We both know who I'm talking about." she sighed, "I could ask Ron how he's doing, but he doesn't remember me."

I gulped and took my hand out from under the table, bluntly staring at the rings, "I just wished he would be here one last time, before I completely go blank."

"I mean—its mad, right? The only thing we lose are memories with our childhood friends and our childhood partner. Everything else stays the same."

"Yeah...but at least we won't forget about magic, that would've been a hundred times worse." she chuckled lightly.

"I should get going, after all these years I still have curfew." she groaned, "Are you gonna be alright on your own?"

I nodded my head and smiled, "Yes, Hermione. It's alright. Go, you don't want to be grounded."

She stood up and I did as well, before pulling her in for the tightest hug ever. I'm going to miss her. So so much.

"I'll miss you, Y/N." she sniffled.

"I'll miss you too, Hermione. Take care, yeah?" I stroked her back comfortingly.

After she left, I stayed at the bar for a couple more drinks. Since I'm a pureblood, I won't get drunk, which is a huge perk. Time went by, I looked at the clock again. 11 PM. One hour until midnight.

I decided it was enough drinking for tonight. I walked out of the bar and walked slowly, reminiscing the air and my surroundings. That is until it started to rain.

"Just fucking great." I muttered, I didn't have any umbrella with me, so I walked in the rain.

As I walked down the road, I heard footsteps behind me. At first, I thought it was just a stranger walking behind me. But somehow, the footsteps got closer and closer.

So, I turned around, hoping to see Hermione or someone I didn't know.

But turns out...it was him.

"Out here in the rain, are you? Want an umbrella?"

"No thanks, Grimauld place isn't far from here after all." I said, staying still at where I'm standing.

"Are you mad? This is Shaftsbury Avenue.." he chuckled lightly, approaching me.

I rolled my eyes, "Well I was going to apparate, dumbass."

I looked up at a big TV screen and saw that it was 11.55, 5 minutes until midnight. I gulped and stared at the man in front of me. How I wanted to jump into his arms and kiss him right then and there.

"Y/N, listen.."

"No, Harry. You listen." I sighed and approached him, "I'm sorry. I'm so incredibly sorry, for everything I said and did. I should've appreciated what you were doing for me instead of causing a big fight."

"This was all my fault! Truth is, I wasn't ready to let you go. I'm still not ready. And I can't believe in five minutes, I'm not going to know who you are!" I cried out.

"I am so so thankful for you and everything you have done for me, Harry. If I could go back and just apologize, we wouldn't have left with a big fight. Harry, I'm so—" I got cut off by him pulling me closer to him by the waist.

He took off the hood of his jacket, so I can look at his face clearer. He hasn't changed one bit. His beautiful green eyes were filled with love and passion, his lips curled into a warm smile.

"Don't apologize. It was wrong for me to be so suspicious. I shouldn't have used the Weasleys for an excuse. I'm so sorry, my love." he sighed.

My love. He is my love. I am his.

"I love you, Harry. I never stopped loving you. The second you walked out of that door, I regretted everything. I missed you so much."

He cupped my face and stroked it, wiping away my tears and placing a comforting kiss on my nose, "I love you too, Y/N. I will always love you."

With that, he leaned in and we kissed like never before. The kiss was filled with love, passion, protection, promise, desire, and sadness at the same time.

It felt like we were the only two people in the world. Standing on the side of the road, head to toe drenched in rain, but we didn't care. We found our way back to each other.

I felt his heartbeat on mine. His lips moved in sync with mine, just like how I remembered it. I felt safer than ever. I felt more comfortable than ever. Finally, I was back with my love.

He interlocked our hands together, his other hand stroking my hair and cheeks. My other hand buried in his hair, just how he liked it.

When we couldn't breathe anymore, we pulled away from each other. Still holding each other close, I took off his promise ring from my finger and slipped it onto his finger.

"Wear it. Please. So you'll remember me."

He smiled sadly at it and nodded, "I will, love. I'll never take it off. I promise."

He kissed my head, his ring, and mine. He pulled me in to a tight hug, his head resting on mine, my arms wrapped around his waist, as tears fall down both our faces.

He kept whispering reassuring things in my ear, my brain replaying every memory I had of my friends and him. In a minute, it will all be gone.

"We'll find each other in the new life, princess. I know we will. I'll stop at nothing to find you and be with you again."

"Don't forget me, Harry. Not until you lose your memories." I sniffled.

We pulled away from each other and admired each other's faces. Smiling as much as we can, and giving each other gentle pecks.

The clock ding-ed. My mind went blank. I blacked out for half a second, before regaining consciousness and staring at the man in front of me.

"Hello, who are you? Did you need anything?" I asked with a smile.

The man shook his head, "No, you just dropped your umbrella. I was going to give it back to you." he said as he gave me what seemed to be my umbrella.

"Oh, okay. Thank you."

He nodded, "You're welcome. You should go back home, the rain is getting really heavy."

I thanked him once more before turning away and starting to walk. But before I could, I asked him, "Have we met before?"

He chuckled and shrugged, "Maybe we've bumped to each other here and there. It's a small world."

I chuckled as well and nodded, turning away and walked along the road. If I'm being honest, I think I've seen him before. Nevertheless, he was kind of cute.

Please drop the Fairholme party composition please

Lol okay so bear in mind this is part grounded part me being unhinged. But, if you go back to episode 3, we get some firm details: the party is repeatedly refered to as being an 8 member party (there is a shot of them later that only appears to show 7 men but one could be scouting ahead, more on that in bit) and it takes its shape from Crozier's original idea with of course Fairholme taking his place as lead and crucially, Crozier says specifically to "swap in two marines".

That gives us a very clear head start when narrowing down. 8 men, one of which is Fairholme and two of which are marines. Given the real marines manifest AND the show giving eliminating all but two candidates (all the others still living are either shown or mentioned with the ships AFTER episode 3) it has to be Privates Joseph Healey (29, from Manchester) and William Reed (28, Bristol). Which working backwards can be justified narratively, they are both Erebus marines thus familiar with Fairholme and his command, as well as older despite being privates. Plus their boss just got brutally murdered, oof.

So what about the other five? We can infer a couple of things. First in the script Crozier was considering taking both Hickey (a petty officer) and Wentzell (an AB) which means both petty officers and ABs are up for grabs. Second, the composition of Gore's party was pretty similar so we can use it as a template. Gore was also 8 men, himself, ONE marine (Bryant), one officer (CDV), one petty officer (Peglar) one medical (Goodsir) and three ABs (Best, Morfin and Tartnell).

With that in mind, we can pretty much confirm he'd be given another 3 ABs, which brings us to six members of Fairholme's party. These were likely whoever Crozier had picked (in the scripts he decides against Wentzell, who we know stays on the ships, and as expanded on below, he wouldn't be able to take them from Erebus). There are enough not accounted for directly in show or shown post ep 3 to pick from. Lets assume Crozier would give him men that were experienced but not "old" so in their late 20s, early 30s.

I basically picked these bc with that starting point: William Jerry (29, Pembroke and veteran of Ross' Antartic journey thus likely on Crozier's list), John Handford (28, Sunderland) and Charles Johnson (28, Halifax. Yes Nova Scotia. That's why him).

For the final two we know that he wasn't spared any medical officers, and that he almost certainly was not spared any other non-petty officers even warrant ones for two reasons: we see the fate of a lot of them in the show but also Erebus just lost a ton of their command structure: Sir John, Gore and now Fairholme as well as their highest ranked Marine. Crozier needs officers, and especially JFJ needs officers and some kind of sense of normalcy on Erebus so they would probably want to minimize taking even more after a Lt and TWO Marines. Not to mention, Sir John's funeral looks to be attended by enough non-petty officers to support this.

So two petty officers, and for balance let's assume one from Terror and one from Erebus. I assume JFJ would have lobbied for this as well. Presumably you would want to minimize the psychological impact or fighting that could happen from the men thinking the break up was "unfair". Four men a ship tracks, even if there were likely still grumblings about who (Erebites were probably pissed as hell Terror mostly lost ABs and so on). Then there is another factor. We pretty much know that at this point Crozier has 0 hope they are getting out via ships, and that petty officers like Peglar are pretty much idle since their jobs depend on them actually sailing. Factor in that they need to be men we don't see after ep 3 and my votes are for, after checking who is around and their ages-experience:

The Erebus Captain of the Foretop (Peglar's opposite number) Robert Sinclair, 25, of Kirkwall.

The Terror's Captain of the Forecastle (in charge of the anchors as well as the head sails) Reuben Male, 27, of Woolwich.

Despite their ages, both those men had years of service aboard ships. Not to mention it's a relatively balanced pick in similar positions that they can spare. Also keeping the repeating and similar names that this show is so famous for.

Finally, look it:

Fairholme seems to be hauling w his men, a good officer like Gore. There are only seven men in the image which could just be an error but. Let's assume they sent someone ahead to scout, possibly Jerry. I almost would have assumed the other Marine, but one of the haulers looks to be in Marine dress so. By the by, historical Sinclair was apparently only 5'5'' so let's assume he is the short king at the end of the right hand side haulers.

Hello goobers. Have some Hancock headcanons that refuse to leave my brain. (I spent far too long condensing this I have so many hcs for this man)

pansexual he/they king. I refuse to believe this ghoul has made a decision ever. Like, look at him. He screams "I DO NOT CARE. IF IT HAS A HOLE AND CAN CONSENT, GIVE IT TO ME." Same goes with pronouns. He prefers he/him, but they/them is also a-okay. I reckon he picked it up from KLE0, who introduced him to the concept of ~gender identity~. I don't rlly like the poly hc that some people have bc I feel after what happened with McDonough, he's scared of betrayal, and having more than one (serious) partner at a time feels eerily similar to the feeling he got when he realised his own brother went against him.

Hes only in his late 20s/VERY early 30's. Maybe like, 29? I like to think he was only 18 or so when McDonough pulled his stunt, and that's why he turned to drugs. Being young and stupid, he didn't know what else to do.

Daisy is like a second mother to him. After his mum died, Hancock fell into a deep depression, which Daisy helped pull him out of. She also raised him when Martha was working, and would teach him and McDonough how to read, write, etc. Probably made him play an instrument at one point. Because of her, Hancock has just about the neatest handwriting you'll ever see. His f's and t's have little flicks and his i's are dotted with little x's.

He had an obsession with photography for a while. When he'd black out on chems, Hancock would forget most of his nights. This was a good thing for a while; it helped him escape his reality, but after waking up with a Deathclaw egg in his hands, buck naked and in a tree, he decided to start recording everything he did. If you look under the couch in his office, there's several albums from previous benders. Whenever you come across a camera he gets all excited and starts spewing facts about the make, model, and specs. Probably used the entirety of the Commonwealths film supply.

He's a sucker for compliments. Like, he'd probably die if you called him handsome. Being a ghoul, its pretty uncommon for him to be called anything other than an irradiated freakshow. So, even if its just an offhand "You look nice today", the chance of him melting would be pretty damn high. One time, Sole called him a work of art and he didn't stop smiling for an entire month. He still thinks about it. If romanced, Sole leaves little notes with compliments around their house for him to find. Before meeting Sole, Hancock would often brush off any form of positivity by going "They're being ironic." and on several occasions has admitted to regretting his choice of becoming a ghoul. This isn't true in the end, because, in his words "If I hadn't done everything I did, you wouldn't be in my life." Bonus: Hancock's really smart. This is actually canon as he has the second highest intelligence stat of any companions, but he acts like an absolute dumbass. Like, sometimes he'll ask Sole what 2 + 5 is, and then sometimes he'll write an entire thesis on the etymology of his name in an afternoon. The dumbest, smartest ass on this side of the seaboard.

Hey, it's February 29th, the Leap Year day! The strangest day on the calendar, I realize, ought to be celebrated with a bit of a strange rip to go along with it, and there was certainly plenty to pick from. The channel has seen its share silly rips like :D, utterly unhinged rips like Sex - Steve Harvey, and everything bizarre other kind of weirdness out there like Mr. Rental [B Side] ~ Out of Options or waterwraith pokos. Yet what surprised me about my rip :) wasn't for being the most silly, or most chaotic, or what have you - but rather, for being an utmost perfect blend of all the above kinds of rips, whilst remaining shockingly listenable.

I mean, there's something eyebrow-raising about the rip's mere existence alone. A rip from PONG? As in, one of the first video games ever made, the one from 1972, which barely even had SOUND in it, let alone music? The channel's obviously tackled a number of strange cases of games to rip before, such as the ongoing Circus trend with Five Nights at Freddy's and rips like Chex Invaders, but there really was no precedent for what to expect with this rip before clicking on it - the only prior rip of PONG was a whopping 15 seconds intentionally playing off of how little audio the game has to begin with. How could my rip :) hope to make a relevant joke out of PONG worthy of 3 minutes of runtime?

The answer, as it turns out, was to just do every single thing at once.

It starts off so innocuously too: the joke of adding rapidly repeating PONG sounds of various pitch to form a discordant melody, similar to that of CrazyBus, is a pretty funny bit in of itself! Yet before that bit has had even the slightest time to register, it's joined by Space Jam's infamous backing beat, a source that I've only covered in a good light here through actually impressive rips like Hoopache and Mother, Father, TechnoMan, yet is most well known in the community for being perhaps the most overdone and easy-to-use mashup source of them all. Before THAT has time to settle in, it's joined by yet more infamous mashup sources: The Season 5 demons themselves Yankin and Astronaut in the Ocean of Epic Rap Battles of History: Funny vs. Funnier fame, Crank Dat Super Mario, Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae - and, to note in case you're not listening to the track yourself as you're reading, NONE of these sources ever sound as if they ever go away from the mix. What in its first seconds is nothing but isolated bloops of an ancient arcade machine becomes this absolute cocophany of noise and melodies, yet through some miracle (and skill on brubsby's part) they're guided along to still form some sort of melody.

All the noise is mainly guided by the use of Gangnam Style as a surprise source amidst all the rest, whose melody builds and builds toward its own climactic beat drop Gangnam Style, upon which everything goes silent for just a moment, approximately eight sources all fading at once...before exploding back onto the scene like an unstoppable mob. Its just keeps going like this - by the end, twelve different sources are all competing for attention. Or at least it sounds that way - I genuinely have no clue if some tracks get phased out as the rip progresses, but the rip's noisiness never appears to die down until the very end of its runtime.

Its just such a fun ride until the very end - my rip :) doesn't have any sort of guiding melody to it, no joke to fulfill or prior YTPMV/Mashup/etc its paying tribute to. The rip is pretty much as deep as its title frames it as, as just brubsby fucking around and finding out what can be done with all of these Season 5-infamous sources as the year drew to a close. In that sense its a fitting encapsulation of Season 5 as a whole, doesn't it? The one year where the direction of the channel felt rather aimless, yet not necessarily in a bad way: a lack of obligation to be tied to larger theming and colossal channel events resulted in some of the most unrestrained, individually-ambitious, and fun listens in the channel's entire life. I'm not quite sure if I'd call my rip :) a "banger", but it's the kind of rip that I can't help but respect for the sheer audacity of it alone.

Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes in the Costa del Sol region of southern Spain as extreme rain and flooding drenches the area.

National weather office Aemet has placed both Malaga and the northeastern Catalonia region on the highest alert for strong rain expected to last until Friday.

The Malaga area, including the tourist resorts of Marbella, Velez and Estepona, is expected to take the brunt of the extreme weather phenomenon known as a "Dana".

Parts of the eastern Valencia area have also been placed on the highest alert, weeks after the area was devastated by flash floods that killed more than 220 people.

Several other regions in Spain remain braced for more heavy showers and low temperatures.

Up to 180mm of rain could fall in Catalonia in north-eastern Spain in just 12 hours, accompanied by thunderstorms along the coast near Tarragona, forecasters say.

Schools in the entire southern province of Málaga have been closed while many supermarkets have kept shutters down.

Footage circulating on social media showed the city's normally busy areas deserted as water flooded the streets.

Around 3,000 people living in close proximity to the Guadalhorce River have been told to leave their homes, the Regional Government of Andalusia has said.

Regional government's Minister of the Presidency Antonio Sanz said: "We have not evacuated entire towns, but rather specific areas linked to the riverbank.

"This decision has been communicated to the government of Spain in order to receive collaboration from the state security forces and bodies."

The severe weather alert in Málaga has also led to the opening tie of the Billie Jean King Cup between Spain and Poland being postponed, the International Tennis Federation said.

The two nations were set to play in Malaga on Wednesday.

Spain's meteorological agency Aemet has placed parts of the Andalusia region and the Balearic Islands on orange alert from now until Thursday.

Aemet warns of rainfall and storms that could be "very strong to torrential".

In other parts of Spain precautions are being taken - with eastern and southern Mediterranean areas the most vulnerable.

That orange alert is the second highest and it signals a significant meteorological event “with a degree of danger for normal activities”.

In Valencia, school classes and sports activities were suspended in some areas and sandbags piled up to protect the centre of the town of Aldaia.

However this second Dana weather system is not expected to be as dramatic as the red alert on 29 October, when the Valencia region in particular suffered an unprecedented loss of lives and material damage.

Elsewhere, rescue teams searching for the bodies of two young brothers who were swept away in the Valencia floods two weeks ago said their bodies had been found.

Izan Matías, 5, and Rubén Matías, 3, were pulled from their father Victor Matías's arms when the torrent ripped through their home in Valencia on the evening of 29 October.

Their aunt Barabara Sastre confirmed to the BBC the boys had been found. Their bodies were recovered in different locations.

“My little angels, we have finally found you” one family friend, David Garcia, wrote online. “Two stars shine brighter in the sky.”

Yesterday, search teams had focused on part of the River Pollo about 6km (3.7km) from the family home.

The boys' uncle Iván had told the BBC he was hugely grateful for all the support they had received and hoped his nephews would be found.

Volunteers from the Canary Islands and other parts of Spain had joined recovery specialists from Mexico, who normally work in the aftermath of earthquakes.

This means that instead of moving through a region relatively quickly, they get blocked over the same area leading to persistent rainfall for several days.

Colder air high in the atmosphere meets warmer air flowing in from the Mediterranean which intensifies the storm.

On the first day of the COP29 climate summit on Monday, the Secretary General of the World Meterological Organisation Celeste Saulo said the recent floods in Spain were a strong message to the world.

This is the first week of the new version, Opposing Visions, where my Deepspace Trials progress was a bit skewed. This was partly due to my negligence of forgetting to do a daily orbit run as well as not being able to use up all 3 of the daily allotted keys on certain days. It was a good win streak while it lasted, but this is more reasonable as you can’t win them all without gaining more resources to build up your teams.

I wasn't able to clear his Stage 144 on Saturday (08/05). There is no protofield stellactrum for that stage, and I was having trouble clearing out the first wave. It left me around 45 seconds to clear the second wave and yeah... that wasn't going to happen with 2 tanky wanderers and their two protofield shields. So I slept on it for a night to think of what I could possible to do clear it on Sunday.

Well, come Sunday I was able to clear it after reassembling my team to use the highest leveled memories and protocores centered around God of the tides. I also had a friend watch me prog and help with my rotation. Apparently I wasn't utilizing his kit to its full potential, but now my eyes are open and I think I have a better understanding of how to play with his companion better.

Lesson learned?

More or less, don't spam the active skill to summon those spirits. You'll run out of charges quickly and won't be able to use your resonance when it comes up from cooldown. Also figure out a timing to use your active skill for his buff before using resonance skill. The increase in DMG buff only last for 10 seconds.

Welcome back to Science Sunday, where we analyze the science of comics and also it's Sunday!! I told you I'd bring the series back if I had a good idea, and I did!! I was watching One Piece earlier and Aokiji froze the ocean, which got me thinking, how powerful would that make him? That's what we'll analyze today!

For those unfamiliar with the series, Aokiji is a high ranking member of the navy with ice powers! He travels without a ship, choosing instead to freeze the ocean and bike across it (pictured below). He has been shown in several scenes freezing large quantities of salt water with minimal effort in a matter of seconds.

Since most of One Piece takes place in tropical climates, we'll be using temperatures from the Caribbean! The average surface ocean temperature in the Caribbean is 27 degrees Celsius according to seatemperature.org. Seawater freezes at 28.4 degrees Fahrenheit according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, around -2 degrees Celsius. Multiple people are seen walking across this frozen water. Ice needs to be at least 10 cm thick to safely walk across it according to ice safety tips from My Wild Alberta.

With all that info attained, we can calculate how much water Aokiji would need to freeze to ride his bike. He would need to freeze 10 cubic centimeters of seawater for each centimeter he rides forward, dropping the temperature of the water 29 degrees in the process. Road Bike claims a beginner cyclist would average a speed of 10 to 12 mph (about 16 to 19 kmph), with an experienced cyclist hitting 16 to 19 mph (25.7 to 30.5 kph). We'll take the lowest and fastest rate to have two possible power measurements of Aokiji. Knowing the world of One Piece, he's probably much faster than even the faster time, but this is still a relatively easy task for him anyways, so it wouldn't give us a full power measurement regardless.

for the slowest speed of 16 kmph, Aokiji wou;d be covering 1.6 million cm per hour, or 444.4 cm per second. This means he would need to freeze 4444 cubic cm of water each second. That is roughly the equivalent four and a half liters. That's a lot of fluid to freeze in one second, especially given the fact he'd need to lower it's temperature by 29 degrees to do so. In the fastest condition, Aokiji would cover 3.05 million cm per hour, or 847.2 cm. This would mean freezing 8472 cubic cm of water per second, nearly eight and a half liters. These are both enormous sums of water to freeze in a single second, especially given how effortless Aokiji's travel seems to be for him.

Water has a specific heat capacity of 4.186 J/g°C, meaning it takes 4.186 joules of energy to heat one gram of water one degree Celsius. one liter of water weighs about 1000 grams, meaning Aokiji would be taking 539,474.936 joules of energy out of the water to freeze it in the slow condition, with 1,028,449.968 joules in the fastest condition. Because he is doing all this in one second, these energy estimates can also be measured in watts (joules per second). Burlington Hydro lists out the watt usage of common household appliances, with the oven being the highest at 12,500. This comes nowhere near Aokiji's lowest estimate of 539,474.936 watts. Aokiji could power 43 ovens on the low estimate, and 82 on the highest estimate. That's a lot of energy! And keep in mind, this isn't any feat of strength coming from Aokiji. This is just how he travels from place to place. The ice ice fruit is pretty serious stuff!!

Okay so Arttu Lindeman being my most listened to artist this year was expected and it's all on me. But the fifth artist and the first, second and fourth song aren't really mine, they're what my mom plays to our chickens 😂

I find it pretty funny that BC has dropped out of top5, and been replaced with two artists I found when they were opening for BC (Arttu in last December, Those Without this March). 😂 Also, on the top100 list I have only 3 songs by BC, compared to 21 by Arttu Lindeman and 16 by Those Without. The supporting acts have taken over. 😂

This year I listened to 599 artists. In 2022 it was 922, and in 2021 it was 852.

In 2021 the highest scoring BC song was Sharks Love Blood, on the 1st place of the list. Last year it was Bad Idea on the 4th place. And this year it's Autopsy on 63rd place 🙈😅

We already have Bakugou facing a villain made specifically to challenge his past with bullying Izuku for being quirkless. This villain is a serial killer who kills the quirkless as a means of ‘saving’ them from torment

Now, with the highest vote percentage of 29%, we have Mirio and Tamaki facing a villain with social phobia(the fear of people and society) this ‘villain’ will be like Blue Diamond from Steven Universe as their quirk will be an emotional output quirk that effects those around them.

The villain will have a sentient quirk that they are constantly arguing with, the quirk being hellbent on killing. The villain will have developed a second personality as a result of their quirk’s sentience, these 3 minds will constantly be fighting for control over their shared body.

Best Jeanist and Edgeshot: this villain would be similar to the mother spider demon from Demon Slayer. They would use webs to control people and use them as puppets. The villain would be a Heteromorph whose dream was to be a fashion designer/tailor but was rejected and discriminated against due to their appearance and looking like a spider.

Hawks and Mirko: this villain would be similar to Marvel’s the Avengers, Ultron as well as Marvel’s Magneto from the X-Men series. This villain would have a technological quirk that would basically allow them to be a technopath(controls technology via telepathy) and have a deep seeded hatred for hero society. They would have a similar mindset to Ultron, being that humanity is a lost cause and should be destroyed. They’d construct a small army of robots that they control. This villain would be similar to Hawks, as they too, were victims of the HPSC’s greed. They would have grown up in a program that was basically a trial run for Hawks’s childhood, suffering more than him since they were basically just trying to learn what works best.

SAINTS OF THE DAY (November 29)

/So how did you make the home head I'm considering being home for Halloween and I never did stuff like this before

I made the whole mask out of eva foam (5mm) and painted it myself with spray paint, but i’m sure you can also use different coloured once. The brick pieces i pushed down with soldering iron, but please be careful with it!! The eyelids are made out of felt and velcro so i could attach and remove them!

I also made two separate pieces for the eyes, one purely black and second one with black pupils (i also plan on doing the red with black pieces but whenever goes your imagination!) It’s made out of cross stitch net

they’re supported by three glued on pieces (it was originally three but one broke off during filming so i suggested gluing them on more tightly!)

My first mask concept looked a bit different and it was supposed to have more movable parts, but i quickly realized that it would be very difficult to make for me. I suggest instead of making the pieces on the bottom for neck support to plainly use one of those neck pillows and stuff it on top of the insides!(i did that myself)

front piece is about 29 cm in width and lowest point of the the height is 19 cm with something, highest is 31! side piece is 25 cm in width and also 19 cm in height, but make sure those measurements fit you and don’t be afraid to fix it your own liking and comfort!

I will not go deep on the dialogue, just the emotions

In the manga it was first a shock scene, just shock... I would say even distrustful of her words

But then his smile was very soft, nodding, maybe proud of the fact that Ozaki feels comfortable in the mafia after he became the leader

In the anime it was the same but with a sad expression, there was more melancholy in his words, his facial expression...

And that's why I cry a lot with that scene

Yes, as I said, he is irritated, accepts but hate that fact. He doesn't like it when when things are TOO far out his control, he is stubborn, he is "human" despite being a bastard
