This is my first blog post, I just need to yap now and again and nothing, I mean NOTHING is able to motivate me to write in a diary, so I will release it out into the internet abyss instead. No one warned me about the disparity between Rich Tea biscuits brands when I came to England. You're telling me a 70p pack tastes disgusting compared to its £1.80 counterpart and it is not just another shameless capitalist farce?! So it is true that sometimes one needs to sell one's soul for non-disappointing biscuits? I wonder how many things this applies to.

I am a skimpy motherfucker I can tell you that - my clothes, my toothbrush, my car maintenance, and my bluetooth keyboard and you can tell because I have found yet another hole in my jumper, my gums are bleeding, there is mould on my steering wheel, and, well, my bluetooth keyboard is pretty fucking nice actually. My laptop's bluetooth drivers, on the other hand, stopped working. I wonder, how can we ever know what sacrifice to make and when? Like what is the sign that I need to spend the extra money now so I don't hit myself over my sorry head later? Wouldn't recommend it, by the way, because a good bandage is not cheap either. When is it okay to skimp on stuff, what is it okay to skimp on? Please let me know if you know because I would love to know!!!

Today I went to uni and I did some stuff and it was disappointing, but I got a coffee and a brownie for £3.20 altogether and I think as far as simple pleasures go, I don't skimp very often. On the other hand, I skimped on work and here I am now, again, procrastinating on coursework because who wants to write anyway when it's not blog posts? I'm starting to hate the word "skimp". Aren't there too many rules, are we not giving each and every thing we do a bit too much significance, doesn't it feel suffocating to not be able to get some fucking good biscuits? UGH...

And finally, when I apply for a job and when I get a job (oh please let me get a job) and when I get sweet sweet salary, then I must save for a house, and for MOT, and for a better vacuum cleaner and I can tell you right now as I'm sitting on my couch in three blankets with the heater off that I will skimp on the biscuits again, and I will buy slippers from Primark, and the heater will be off during winter because there is a cost of living crisis guys didn't you hear??? And then I will be safe and I will have saved and if I fall on my ass I'll have skimped on the padding, ouch.

They’re the last to arrive for the Winter Banquet which makes finding their seats quite easy. It seems that someone doesn’t want to chance it twice since it they’re sat next to some team that Andrew would forget it he had the ability to.

The Hornets are nothing to write home about but they’re within a decent range of the Ravens but he only knows that since Neil waves in greeting to Riko of all people. “We’ve been texting,” Neil says as if it doesn’t give Kevin massive bouts of anxiety.

“You have?” Renee asks.

“Yeah, he’s sent me some of the pottery he’s been working on,” Neil explains.
