I became a hamster. No wonder I thought I was hearing squeaks last night, it turned out to be like this. Shiny golden fur that doesn’t lose its light even in the dark. Four lovely pink-tinted feet. Long whiskers that twitch whenever I move my cheeks. The black curtains flutter and the light leaks in from the steel cage hitting my eyes. Wait a minute… a steel… cage? A cage?! ― Eek. (Why?) I didn’t just become a hamster. I became a hamster that’s been trapped somewhere. * Thud. Thud. Thud. The cage I was in suddenly shook heavily and my small body rolled around in different directions as the cage kept moving. Who is it?! Who the hell drives like this?! Can’t you drive safely! Thump. My body sways to the corner again and I feel my butt stinging from falling too many times. Then I heard a horse sniffing, it felt thrilling to think that I was going to ride a horse. However, it only felt thrilling for a bit before I thought, It seems like I’m gonna be meeting King Yeomra. King Yeomra is the King of the underworld, hamster thinks he'll die because of the cage being shaken. Where the hell are we going? Why did I become a hamster? And why the hell are we not riding a bus or a train, but riding a horse? This is unfair, I feel so wronged. It’s so absurd that I have to explain, it’s so obvious that I’m a human not a hamster! That’s right I’m human! Bae Soohyun. I’m turning 27 this year. Even though my life was like a thorny path, I am a small mugwort that didn’t give up and kept living. It was a life where it seemed like I kept working day, night, dawn, early in the morning, from Monday to Tuesday to Wednesday to Thursday to Friday to Friday to Friday… But I had no doubt that my hard work would pay off. After years of hard work, it seems the day has finally come. The day when the game I developed became a big hit. I think it’s dead. Dead… That’s right… I died. After the earlier confusion of becoming a hamster has passed, my memories slowly started to come back. The game became popular and it felt like the son I was raising finally became successful. I was finally able to receive the first batch of settlement money thanks to the game. I rushed back home feeling so happy that I could fly. Rattle. The cage suddenly shook as the horse started moving. And I started shaking back and forth, my head felt like it was going to pop and my eyes slowly lost shine as I felt dizzier and dizzier. Are you kidding me?! I kicked the cage a few times hoping for the shaking to stop and then heard a voice not so distant. “I’m sorry.” An unfamiliar, deep yet friendly voice. “Just endure it for a little bit more.” But why did it feel like I’ve heard this line somewhere before. I’m sorry, just endure it for a little bit more. I’ll take you to your new home soon. It suddenly came to mind. While walking at the crossing on my way home, I bumped into a child who seemed anxious while carrying a hamster cage, then a car hit my body. I instinctively felt my death then, all my senses were occupied by the fact that I was hit by a car, and my consciousness started fading away. Twinkle. In front of my eyes something glistened brightly. Wait a minute, what’s that blue thing… [ Hello World! ] I was stunned by the blue system filling up my field of vision. A familiar phrase, the most basic sentence someone with programming knowledge would know. This is the very first phrase you learn to code when you start programming. Then, several windows came up one after another.

[ Connection confirmed. Checking data. ] [ Determining quest. ] [ Calculating miracle value. ] [ Synchronization not complete. Please wait. ] [ Synchronization 0% complete. ] What does this mean? Data? Quest? Synchronization? Since the moment I woke up, this ridiculous situation started and kept going, I didn’t even get the chance to be surprised. While in a daze, the horse which had been rattling the cage non-stop suddenly fell silent and the owner of the voice earlier seemed to get off the horse. The tumultuous movement stopped, but I still felt nauseous. The cold wind blew into the cage, and I shivered. Suddenly, I heard another distant voice. “Your Highness, are you sure you don’t want to throw it out?” Your… Highness? First I rode a horse, now someone’s talking to a royal. These are words that you wouldn’t even hear in 21st century Korea. The term “Your Highness” is only something I heard as a child watching sageuk dramas. Then the deep voice I heard earlier replied. Sageuk is a k-drama genre in which characters wear historical costumes. “It’s a pup that was left alone by the horde, don’t you feel it’s a bit pitiful?” pup - baby hamster / horde - group of baby hamsters “What pity, Your Highness? It’s a child of a demonic beast, when it grows up,it will learn to seduce its prey.” I looked down at my small and round body, what do you mean seduce? Is this body even capable of seducing? In the first place, I’m not even a demonic beast, just a normal hamster, no I mean human! Heh, you’re quite convincing using that serious voice of yours, but you’re obviously joking! The man with the deep voice suddenly cut through my thoughts. “It’s still a child.” “A child of a demonic beast, Your Highness.” “That’s right, a child.” “Your Highness, the most important thing is that it’s a demonic beast!” That… Can you please stop referring to me as a child. It’s weird… While I was grumbling away my frustrations, I heard the man speak, this time anger laced his voice. “Are you questioning my decision?” He spoke words that could normally be taken lightly yet the way he enunciated it word by word felt like a threat, and that there was only one correct answer. “No, Your Highness, I was just momentarily confused since such a thing has never happened before. How dare I question the Grand Prince’s decision.” “Right. So, I’ll take care of it, surely you don’t think I am weaker than a demonic beast that’s barely the size of my fist?” You’re telling me he’s not just a royal, he’s the Grand Prince? “I already sent a man to the estate to prepare it's house, it would be fun to add little ornaments with it.” “Your Highness, you can also raise a real hamster, should I tell the man to prepare another one?” “No. Don’t test my patience.” “…Yes” This person is quite stubborn huh.

Soon the cage started shaking again, this time as the man walked, I could hear his armor rattling and his heavy footsteps rang. Then I felt the air around me get warmer little by little as he marched up the stairs.

It must be winter. Yet I died during summer, now I realize the abnormality of the situation. The man took me to a room and then removed the cloth covering the cage.

“Here we are.” I crouched in a corner and pretended to be asleep desperately. Somehow it felt like the smart thing to do, I couldn’t speak even if I wanted to tell him about my situation. Even if I told him, who’s to say he will not decapitate me for spewing nonsense.

How did my life become like this! Give me back my money! My skills! My future that was unfolding brilliantly! “Tsk. Tsk.” The man clicked his tongue, then he sighed deeply. Hey! I’m the one who’s supposed to be sad at this situation, why are you the one clicking your tongue! Ah, I really hate when people do that… Oh right, I was pretending to be asleep… Sleep… “Does it really not have a human heart?” He murmured.

What human heart? What is he talking about? “Looking at these naive eyes, before it turned into a demonic beast, did it really not have the heart of a human?” N-naive? Which eyes looked naive? Surely it’s not mine? “That’s right, for them there’s no such thing as compassion... Did I stay away from the North for too long? It’s no different from a glacier, it’s freezing. Tsk.” Suddenly, the man opened the cage, stretched out his hand and caught me in his palm.

― Eek! I was so surprised I forgot I was pretending to sleep, as I opened my eyes, I made eye contact with him.

The blue system window showed up below his face. Hold on, this name, I’ve heard of it somewhere. Without knowing what was in my head the whole time, he raised me closer to his face. I felt his warm hand full of scars and calluses against my soft fur. Then he rubbed my cheek.

E-excuse me?! “You did well enduring the ride home, cashew nut, you must’ve been bored the whole way.” Bored? The ride was full of shock and horror for me, okay?! Wait, aside from that, can’t you put me down first? What the hell is this situation, why did you suddenly remove me from the cage… Wait! No! Don’t peck me! ― Squeak! Eek!  [ Let me go! ]

“Yes, yes, I know how you feel.” What do you know… You don’t understand a thing! Ack! Why’s he kissing me like he’s dying of love! A kiss… ― Squeak! Squeak! Squeak!  [ You bastard! What kind of dog kisses nonstop like you?! ]

“I’m glad you’re feeling better.” ― Squeak! [ Get lost! ] “Did you like being kissed?” I can’t take this anymore!

Wait a minute… This face… I took a moment to observe all his features, his pale yet tough complexion, distinct eyebrows, his hair that’s dark as a raven, his eyes which glowed crimson. A cold and resolute beauty.

― Eek! [ Grand Duke Blake ] I remember. The Duke of the North, Kyle. A supporting actor from the novel, The Heart of Winter, I always read while traveling to and from my company. Not only was he a supporting actor, he’s a supporting actor that dies in the middle of the novel. A man who’s life was miserable from start to finish, yet died with no regrets. The reason why I remember him, and not the protagonists of the story, was that he’s the unluckiest character in the novel. He was unlucky to the extent that I lamented his cold fate many times.

So, I died, and transmigrated into a novel? “Cashew nut?” Cashew nut, my name, I mean the name of the hamster’s body I’m occupying. Kyle stared at me, he seemed to be worried as if something went wrong. His gaze was warm and full of kindness.

Stop looking at me! This bastard, you’re gonna pierce through me with that stare! I’m just worn out… I flicked my head away from his stare, and turned back to glare at him. I tried my hardest to look as mean as possible.

“That look…” It’s scary right?! You’re so afraid you could die, right? I look like a dangerous demon, don’t I?! So put me down!!! You kiss crazed bastard! [ Cold and strict personality. Clean and thorough. Frigid and Merciless. ] “You look so cute, staring at me like that.” Aren’t you the cold blooded Duke of the North?! Let go of me! What do you mean cold and strict?! What merciless? ― Squeak! [ Let go! ]

Yet the Duke didn’t let me down for a long time and I had to put up with the crazy kisses the he bestowed.

Working on three fics all at once, which is 1, a first for me, 2, not as productive as I'd like to be so definitely gonna need to re-evaluate that, but here's a snippet from the prologue of my Tangled AU fic for @aroyallybigbangrwrb!!!

On little Henry’s third birthday, a prophet from a faraway kingdom, who travelled for a peek of the prince born of stardust, paid a visit to the royal family and offered a glimpse into the children’s future. Mary was pleased with both Philip and Beatrice’s destiny: a noble king, strong and brave, beloved by his subject as his parents were, with a loving wife of his own, and a musician princess, creating and playing the most wonderful melodies and symphonies that will live through the ages.  Yet Henry’s future, made Mary gasp in horror and disdain. Henry came from a long line of princes, all knights in shining armour, all warriors on the battlefield, all saviours of damsels in distress. But Henry’s future lies in quills and ink, of words and stories, a poet and a writer who lives in libraries rather than training halls, in the archives vault rather than the council chambers. And the cherry on top is, that he will find love, not in the embrace of a lady or a lass, but in the arms of a dashing rogue. I’ll give you three guesses as to who that guy is. Spoilers, he’s in the room with you right now.

Transiting Mercury enters Pisces

Seventeen days for us to get our “right brains” into action - moving away from material precision and exactness, into a space/time where everything exists and nothing is real.

This isn’t Mercury’s favorite place to be - Pisces opposes Virgo, one of Mercury’s signs, and squares Gemini, Mercury’s other sign. Merc likes its cold hard facts! It’s Pisces, though, that picks up on the nuances and subtleties. And we need that ability as much as we need logical facts.

Learning - it’s a great time for the poetry unit in “language arts” class. Our imaginations really have to be engaged, for us to want to learn.

Thinking and reasoning - nonlinear. The process is more important than the end result. We can be a little muddled and foggy here; set aside some quiet time and meditate.

Communication - can be vague and noncommittal; can be poetic and compassionate. Makes it easy to lie, alas. Keep to the high road.

Since Mercury is wafting right along, speeding through the skies, these aspects are valid pretty much only on the day they happen.

Sunday, February 25 - Mercury/Pisces square Pallas Athene/Sagittarius, 4°57’. Words fail us? We aren’t as clever as we thought we were; we have trouble thinking things through (if we even bother with that).

Monday, February 26 - Mercury/Pisces sextile Ceres/Capricorn, 6°44’. And the problem seems to clear up. Perhaps a wise old grandparent set us straight? Our ideas can manifest easily.

This is a big deal: the Superior Conjunction between Mercury and the Sun, marking the halfway point of their cycle. And Saturn is parked in the same degree! We’re serious-minded and much more likely to use past patterns to guide us.

Thursday, February 29 - Mercury/Pisces sextile Jupiter/Taurus, 11°12’. A lucky opportunity to manifest our ideas. Might make us a little lazy, intellectually.

Wednesday, March 6 - Mercury/Pisces square Vesta/Gemini, 24°21’. Vagueness and fuzziness of thought; inability to concentrate. Like having four possible forks in the road and not knowing which one to take. (Four - two Pisces fish plus two Gemini twins.)

Friday, March 8 - Mercury/Pisces conjunct Neptune/Pisces, 27°01’. The fog continues to roll in. If we’re used to Mercury-Neptune energy this can be an inspired, prophetic, poetic time. If you’re not (raises hand), it’s best to stall on making any important decisions until the fog lifts.

And a heads up: Mercury enters Aries on Sunday, March 10, and thanks to retrograde won’t exit Aries until May 15. Gonna get loud.

Idk why I'm making a post yet I really don't feel like writing. ANYWAYS. Updates may come today. They also may not. Idk yet.

6:51 Hello from beyond. A new playlist is being born as I write through chapter 30. Also, I think I finished my chapter 7 art. It's Craig carrying Tweek home after they first met. They were so cute 😭 Idk what the message is gonna be in that one yet though. I know what the response is, but not the og message. And I am realizing as I type that that I was not supposed to reveal that but fuck it we ball there's like six people on here it's okay.

ANYWAYS. IF I CAN FINISH 30 AND ACTUALLY WRITE 27 (due to a restructure, I skipped over it entirely and have to go back and rewrite it.) AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, CIRCLE BACK AND FINISH 22, I will be soooooooo happy. I got like 12 hours til sleep time and I prob will not be working on chapter 8 art. Because I do NOT wanna draw Kenny and Clyde just yet. (I'm afraid. I wanna put them in their magical girl uniforms and ACTUALLY SHOW THEIR UNIFORMS bc they do change eventually and I feel like the contrast goes INSANE.)

1:38: I got so distracted Desolation was late and I didn't write anything. I have literally written under 1k today which is fucking insane to me. I write more when I'm "on breaks"

But I have come here to yap about something. While I'm "on break" I think I'm going to rework The End Is Near AND New Beginnings. Meaning they might get deleted for a bit. Because I kinda wanna redo them both because let's be so real here. My writing was not shit, but I feel like they are both gems that need a bit of love. I don't know if I'm gonna commit to the bit but I really fucking might LMFAOO.

But I do really want to redo New Beginnings because that was the whole reason I started writing fanfic and people are still looking at it and I feel like it pales in comparison to what I write now.

And reworking those two will be much more lax while I suffer through 15 weeks of physics hell. SOOO.

Whatever. Gonna try and get through chapter 30. and maybe 27 BECAUSE I STILL HAVE TO WRITE IT WHAT THE FUCK‼️‼️

Craig's Guide has like 10 chapters left. Dandelion has 8 (technically 9) chapters left. and Leap year has 8 chapters left. (Genesis doesn't count because that just started. ) LIKE HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO COPE. I HAVE FOUR FICS AND THERE ARE SEVEN DAYS OF THE WEEK. AND I CAN'T POST MY ONE REALLY FUNNY TRASHFIRE FIC BC PART OF IT IS SO GOOD I KINDA WANNA SPLIT THE CONCEPTS UP AND I REFUSE TO FINISH IT TIL I GET MY SHIT TOGETHER. Like y'all do not understand daily posts are like embedded in my brain. I love it. HOW DO I FIX THIS WITHOUT ACTIVELY WRITING. I hate it here. Oh also when Eclipse or Desolation get finished Dandelion is moving to Monday/Wednesdays because Freedom Pal Fridays are being a thing. Because I have. So. Many. Goddamn. Freedom. Pals. Fics. Sitting. There. ScREAMING. For. Me. To. Write. So An Answers getting thrown on Fridays. But how do I space this out? (I am so sorry for this unnecessary lengthiness I am officially just gaming this out as I type because my brother is sleeping and I can't call him to yap.) 2:39: JUST HIT 90K. This has been cut down to 38 chapters. I have 1k ish left of 30. 27 is still undone. 22 needs its angel fight. So approximately 29k-36k ish left. I'm losing my mind. 4:14: I keep cutting chapters and part of me is starting to worry that this is too short but in the same breath like I'm combining them because drawing them out feels kinda lazy and rude. But we are now down to 36/37 chapters. I can't be too mad about it. But part two might be like, way longer. Also we're at 92.3k. SO I DID SOMETHING TODAY.

I lowk wanna work on bound for a bit but that means committing myself to an entire chapter because I can't just write part of a chapter and go back to it for that one and kinda I wanna reread the whole thing before I work on it more. UGH.

re: The Waiver Period

Okay, my brain has a problem wrapping itself around the wording they use here, so someone please let me know if I'm understanding this correctly:

Teams offer contracts to the unsigned training camp players they want to keep and then at some point before the waiver period begins teams will share a list with one another of all the players they're gonna let go.

On Wednesday (11/26) evening the Waiver Period begins, which means that players that weren't offered contracts are up for grabs and any team can make an offer to them.

Finally on Thursday (11/27) afternoon the Waiver Period ends. And teams then have 2 hours to submit their final rosters.

Am I understanding this right?

News Staff In Decked Out 2

When asked for who you would want on your team in anything at all, picking the staff of The Overseer may be a poor choice. This is not because we might not be good at the game, but because, in the most positive way possible, the news staff are the most uncoordinated mess you may come across. So, when given the opportunity to take a shot at Decked Out 2, the news staff would—well, let’s get into what they* would do.**

*they being only 5 members of the News Crew for now, but more may come soon as the rest of the staff at The Overseer explore DO2 :] 

**all of these are observations and things that Roo thinks they would do. In reality, most staff members would probably do a trillion times better than this, and the knowledge that Roo has of decked out is about 2 months behind due to forgetting everything 30 seconds after hearing it

Lydia’s first run: Having planned for approximately half a minute before entering, Lydia would immediately find ways to befriend the ravagers but only for a little bit, until they would be able to make it safely down to the final level, only to be killed by a warden immediately. All in all, a solid run! Definitely further than some other staff members would make it, regardless of the impromptu ravager befriending. 

Corundumcat’s first run: Despite never having seen Decked Out in her life, Corundumcat would somehow find a way into the back passages, and decide to take up work in Decked Out, scaring players who were already on edge, and becoming the local cryptid. It doesn’t pay, but it may be a better option in comparison to the newspaper.

Roo’s first run:  Having known they were going to die within 30 seconds, Roo would be extra careful, and extremely meticulous about finding artifacts, but the first time he caught sight of a ravager, would scream loud enough to be heard at Gem’s base, and hide in a little nook in the walls for two hours before somehow finding his way out (although not the intended way).

Coffee’s first run: Coffee would, like Lydia, attempt to make friends with the ravagers, this time with berries, a better offer, but one that the ravagers wouldn’t like. Relics would be collected simply for the fact that they’re shiny, and not for points, but relics would be quickly forgotten when Coffee would find his way out of the actual gameplay section and into the walkways full of redstone and be instead infinitely interested in the blinky lights and noises. 

Morph’s first run: Morph, like Lydia, would head into the game with a plan, but instead of hunting for relics, she would instead pick up a variety of pretty rocks, infinitely frozen ice, mushrooms, and skulk, and she would somehow not see a single ravager, warden or otherwise hostile mob. She died when she fell into a lava pool while distracted by her collection.

Z’s first run:  Is it counted as a run if Z simply set up base in the pirate ship on the first level? Probably not, but they’re there regardless, and having a lovely time playing pirates. The skeletons may be an issue, but isn’t everything. After dying a few times to them, Z bribed them with their arts and crafts to be left alone.

Item 1: A dice set of 7 This dice set has words and runes inscribed on each die. They have been designed to resemble a galaxy in their paint job, with each galaxy appearing to be moving as well. This set looks expensive to make and buy, and upon rolling any die, a spell seems to be casted.

Item 2: A perfumed note This note is addressed to the large pinball machine in Joe’s arcade and begs the apparatus to grant them luck in the writer’s name, as they have made a very high bet with their friends that rests on the result of a long-standing game of pinball. It is not signed.

Item 3: A book about owls This book, stated to have been written within this year, gives and overview of what an owl is as well as the species history and more about each variation. The writing is slightly dry, but comprehensive and quite easy to understand, even for young children. An illustration on the front depicts a Great Horned Owl, a Barn Owl, a Northern Pygmy Owl, and a Northern Saw Whet Owl.

Item 4: A set of lightbulbs These lightbulbs appear to be 120-Watt bulbs with a flattened head, giving them a more triangular shape. They are brand new and have not been taken out of their box.

Item 5: A spiral notebook with song lyrics inside This green spiral notebook has several stickers of someone’s original creature designs, in the style of an early 2000s website such as Neopets or Webkinz. Inside, it appears that the owner was attempting to write original songs, and both the handwriting and lyrics themselves seem to reflect that of someone in their very early teenage years.

Item 6: A set of painted canvases These small canvases are 6 inches in length and 4 inches in width, with painted illustrations in acrylic depicting different types of trees, including baobab trees, juniper trees, pine trees, birch trees, oak trees, and dragon blood trees.

Item 7: An electric setup kit for a hot pot and grill This kit is for a hot pot and grill that can be made at home, with enough ingredients for lunch in an office. It appears to have been sent to the wrong address. It contains a variety of broths from chicken collagen, tom yum, creamy cheese, and sukiyaki. It also includes noodle varieties, meats, vegetables, and things you would find in a steamboat. A 30% off coupon for a future transaction was also found hidden in the kit. The person suggests the meal contents be consumed if not picked up within two days.

Item 8: “Spuds Galore,” a scrapbook cookbook This handmade scrapbook cookbook contains recipes that all use potatoes in every kind one can imagine. It is the main ingredient to but not limiting the recipes to fries, stuffed fries, potato donuts, potato cakes, potato pancakes, potato nuggets, potato sauce, potato smoothies, potato accordion, potato steaks, and potato paste.

WORK IMMERSION ( week 1-2)

WEEK 1

Monday (February 26,2024)

Today is my first day in my immersion, and I don't know what to do since it's my first time. I felt nervous, frustrated, anxious, and somehow happy because I'll unlock new experience that will help me to practice new things for the preparation in the future. We arrived late because it's already 9 beyond in the morning, as we entered in the office surprisingly the employees welcomed us with a smile on their faces. They gave us time to introduce ourselves, they asked us what the reason was why we choose the strand humss, and what we are after 5 years from now. We answered it professionally since we're from humss student of course we're fluent in English. After that, we started the work, and they gave us a bundle of folders that needed to encode in the computer, it's kinda tiring but it's our job to do it without complaining because it's for our own good, who am I tho to complain? Time passes so fast we made it on time, and we just got home at 5 Pm.

Tuesday (February 27, 2024)

It's my second day. I am very excited because we have a lot of tasks to be done on time. As I entered in the office the cold temperature made me nervous, seems like I want to go home already. honestly, it's a bit tiring because they're giving us time to time bundle of folders, that's our part which is to encode every detail what's in the folders with 30+ pages, that's how tiring it was but again who am I to complain? We just made things done and we've made it. Then another folder just came that needed to be encode, that's our cycle in work, it's encoding since it's an agency so you must expect that there's a lot of applicants. It's already 5 pm so we got home.

Wednesday (February 28, 2024)

It's our third day on duty, no more expectations on what will gonna do next because we already know what we're going to do after we enter the door and put our bags and then back to the things what we did yesterday. We've encoded it so fast, and then we've finish it early, I think it's around 10, we're so happy because they didn't give us another batch bundle of folders, so we rest but after a few minutes they called us and tell to clean the cabinet. So as a worker it's our responsibility to do on what's our bosses wants us to do. After cleaning the cabinet, they gave us another tasks. it's not encoding but it's about scanning, scanning all those folders what we've encode since the first day. We just complain silently to ourselves because we know that it's for our good things to practice our skills, we're humss student of course we don't complain personally.

Thursday (February 29,2024)

What to expect? of course we're going to continue scanning all the folders since we didn't finish it yesterday. it's morning but we are tired already because we're going to scan all the folders with 30+ pages using our phones, we will enter the office fully charge but we're going home low battery. it’s so draining but it's for our own grades. So, we consistently scanned all the folders, the three of us just laughing because this is not what we're expecting. Did you know that scanning is more tiring than encoding. As we are doing things, we just laugh because of how tiring it was. complaining to ourselves every minute, it's normal to complain to yourself, but what's not normal is complaining to your bosses because of giving lots of task. So, it's already 5 we didn't finish it so we're going to finish it tomorrow. Another day of scanning.

Friday (March 1, 2024)

As we entered in the office early in the morning, we are so excited to scan, we are excited to finish it all cause tomorrow is rest day because it's Saturday. we already want to rest so after we put our bags we then start to scan. If all of you think that we're not happy in our immersion, we're happy, and thankful because in this part it will give us realization on that how tiring to work. Yes, we keep on complaining to ourselves but we're not staying in the complaining, we stayed on how fun and enjoyable it is. Tho. yes, it's kind a draining but somehow it helps us that it's okay to complain but you keep on doing the task. Even though the employees there they keep on complaining because it's so tiring as the fact of, they'll call the applicant individually for the orientation, they'll going to answer all the calls since it's an agency so it's more on like that. And since it's our first time so we're adjusting things.

Week 2

Monday (March 4, 2024)

It's our second week and last week of our immersion. We greet them a good morning, it's our routine every morning to greet them like that cause it's a sign of respect as a student. Also, as part of our routine since the beginning is we're going to clean the office before starting to do the task. Last Friday we've done scanning all the folders, so they gave us another task to do which is an answer sheets it's an IQ test for the applicants but during their orientation last week they forgot to answer it, so we're assigned to answer it instead. you know what we didn't complain about the first time. it has a lot of answer sheets to answer but we didn't complain to ourselves at all. it's because we've realized that despite how tiring and draining it is, just enjoy, and have fun doing it.

Tuesday (March 5, 2024)

We only have 3 days left to nurture and spend time with them. we know that we will going to miss this office and our bosses too. It's Tuesday and they have an orientation for 13 applicants, it's a whole day orientation, so as their assistant we arrange chair for them to have a comfortable seat. we give them an application forms, and we even photocopy all their papers since it's a must to have a double copy. I was assigning by it, I just their cause there’s no more chairs for us to seat so as they're started, we all are listening of what the HR have said to them, by looking the HR it's so impressive because she had a good word and motivate the applicant on what to do's and not to dos in work. I really, I admire her as the fact of she so actually good. After photocopying the papers, they told me to laminate all the ID's. so, I did it and gave It to them after. Time passes they done the orientation, and we got home after doing the task.

Wednesday (March 6, 2024)

There's not many things to do, so we just sat and think of what we're going to do since this coming Friday is our last day of our duty. The three of us thinking on what to give as a show of gratitude. we are so actually Thankful to them because despite how they gave us a lot of tasks, we appreciate them. We have a lot of realization. first, as what the HR said that you need to be mature in your work, you need to be optimistic all the time, you need to be hardworking, and just complain always just make sure that you've done it all the to do's every day. it's so fun seeing them every day because they have the same humor that will make you laugh. It's kind a intimidating at first but once you already know them, you'll going to tell yourself it's not what you’re thinking about them. they're like our mothers in the office, while working it feels like we have 6 mothers in 1 home. I'm so happy having them.

Thursday (March 7, 2024)

It's another another, another batch of applicants for orientation. what we did yesterday is the same on what we're supposed to do today. arranging chairs, photocopying papers, laminating ID's, and I forgot to mention we also assign to give them their uniforms for work, including the shoes, t-shirt, and so on. We're so productive, we are productive since the first day of our immersion. it's kind a sad cause we're going to miss this office; it became part of our journey. For our lunch they prepare something to eat. they cooked monggo and buy foods for us. we are so thankful and forever grateful because they did that to us. after cooking, we ate lunch then we watched tv. It's already 1: pm so we started working. it's the continuation for the orientation so we sat there and just listen to them. Time passes so fast then we got home around 5 in the Afternoon.

Friday (March 8, 2024)

Yey! it's our last day, by entering the office we felt so sad cause today will be our last day of our duty, last day as a worker, last day of our immersion. By remembering the time we're they welcome us whole heartedly, teaching us, and taking care of us while we're at work. they treat us as their daughters. It's feels so home. We're going to miss the office and we're going to miss them too. There are no tasks to do so it's not so draining, and tiring this day, we cherish the time left for us to bond. in our lunch they prepare again something to eat so they cook linat-ang baboy. again, we're thankful of them. We prepare also for them. So yesterday we bought a glass and a towel to give each of them. After work where were about to go home, we gave them the presents. looking at their faces their so happy. in our gifts we add up something and it's a letter for telling them how Thankful we are every day by having them as our second mom. Thank you so much Ma'am, for the effort you put unto us. See you around and thank you so much.

Stream Update

Hi guys! I’m finally (properly) back from France, so this week I’ll be getting back to streaming! We’re looking at a bit of a weird schedule though, and we’re changing things up a bit :) We’re gonna be streaming (mostly) Ace Attorney for the next month, before things get too crazy, so expect my partner in crime @ariostea on stream fairly frequently.

This week I’ll be streaming on Wednesday and Thursday (7/26, 7/27) at 3 PM EST.

After that, streams will resume for the next two weeks, but we’ll be changing over to Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Once 8/18 rolls around (mid-August) stuff is probably gonna change again because I go back to ~school~ but we’ll worry about that when we get there.

Day 25 of productivity.

No to fear my friends, I didn't give up on my journey

Day 25 was a Tuesday. I had work that day, but when I got home I went through my books and unhauled a lot of them. If you wonder how many exactly I got rid off, I don't know BUT it took me 3 hours. Some of them are gonna go to a thrift shop, some to my local coffee shop.

Day 26 was a Wednesday. I was also working that day and then after work I met up with my best friends and his boyfriend. We went to get some Indian food. It was a nice evening and it was nice to spend time with my friends.

Day 27 was a Thursday. It was my day off. I had therapy in the morning. I only have two meeting left and that's it! I'm a bit sad but I do not need therapy anymore. Someone else can take my place, someone who needs it. I cleaned my bathroom and bedroom, cooked dinner (I made barszcz bialy #slavicgirldiet). Then I finished watching agatha all along and relaxed for the rest of the day.

That is my update for now.
