WORK IMMERSION ( week 1-2)
WEEK 1
Monday (February 26,2024)
Today is my first day in my immersion, and I don't know what to do since it's my first time. I felt nervous, frustrated, anxious, and somehow happy because I'll unlock new experience that will help me to practice new things for the preparation in the future. We arrived late because it's already 9 beyond in the morning, as we entered in the office surprisingly the employees welcomed us with a smile on their faces. They gave us time to introduce ourselves, they asked us what the reason was why we choose the strand humss, and what we are after 5 years from now. We answered it professionally since we're from humss student of course we're fluent in English. After that, we started the work, and they gave us a bundle of folders that needed to encode in the computer, it's kinda tiring but it's our job to do it without complaining because it's for our own good, who am I tho to complain? Time passes so fast we made it on time, and we just got home at 5 Pm.
Tuesday (February 27, 2024)
It's my second day. I am very excited because we have a lot of tasks to be done on time. As I entered in the office the cold temperature made me nervous, seems like I want to go home already. honestly, it's a bit tiring because they're giving us time to time bundle of folders, that's our part which is to encode every detail what's in the folders with 30+ pages, that's how tiring it was but again who am I to complain? We just made things done and we've made it. Then another folder just came that needed to be encode, that's our cycle in work, it's encoding since it's an agency so you must expect that there's a lot of applicants. It's already 5 pm so we got home.
Wednesday (February 28, 2024)
It's our third day on duty, no more expectations on what will gonna do next because we already know what we're going to do after we enter the door and put our bags and then back to the things what we did yesterday. We've encoded it so fast, and then we've finish it early, I think it's around 10, we're so happy because they didn't give us another batch bundle of folders, so we rest but after a few minutes they called us and tell to clean the cabinet. So as a worker it's our responsibility to do on what's our bosses wants us to do. After cleaning the cabinet, they gave us another tasks. it's not encoding but it's about scanning, scanning all those folders what we've encode since the first day. We just complain silently to ourselves because we know that it's for our good things to practice our skills, we're humss student of course we don't complain personally.
Thursday (February 29,2024)
What to expect? of course we're going to continue scanning all the folders since we didn't finish it yesterday. it's morning but we are tired already because we're going to scan all the folders with 30+ pages using our phones, we will enter the office fully charge but we're going home low battery. it’s so draining but it's for our own grades. So, we consistently scanned all the folders, the three of us just laughing because this is not what we're expecting. Did you know that scanning is more tiring than encoding. As we are doing things, we just laugh because of how tiring it was. complaining to ourselves every minute, it's normal to complain to yourself, but what's not normal is complaining to your bosses because of giving lots of task. So, it's already 5 we didn't finish it so we're going to finish it tomorrow. Another day of scanning.
Friday (March 1, 2024)
As we entered in the office early in the morning, we are so excited to scan, we are excited to finish it all cause tomorrow is rest day because it's Saturday. we already want to rest so after we put our bags we then start to scan. If all of you think that we're not happy in our immersion, we're happy, and thankful because in this part it will give us realization on that how tiring to work. Yes, we keep on complaining to ourselves but we're not staying in the complaining, we stayed on how fun and enjoyable it is. Tho. yes, it's kind a draining but somehow it helps us that it's okay to complain but you keep on doing the task. Even though the employees there they keep on complaining because it's so tiring as the fact of, they'll call the applicant individually for the orientation, they'll going to answer all the calls since it's an agency so it's more on like that. And since it's our first time so we're adjusting things.
Week 2
Monday (March 4, 2024)
It's our second week and last week of our immersion. We greet them a good morning, it's our routine every morning to greet them like that cause it's a sign of respect as a student. Also, as part of our routine since the beginning is we're going to clean the office before starting to do the task. Last Friday we've done scanning all the folders, so they gave us another task to do which is an answer sheets it's an IQ test for the applicants but during their orientation last week they forgot to answer it, so we're assigned to answer it instead. you know what we didn't complain about the first time. it has a lot of answer sheets to answer but we didn't complain to ourselves at all. it's because we've realized that despite how tiring and draining it is, just enjoy, and have fun doing it.
Tuesday (March 5, 2024)
We only have 3 days left to nurture and spend time with them. we know that we will going to miss this office and our bosses too. It's Tuesday and they have an orientation for 13 applicants, it's a whole day orientation, so as their assistant we arrange chair for them to have a comfortable seat. we give them an application forms, and we even photocopy all their papers since it's a must to have a double copy. I was assigning by it, I just their cause there’s no more chairs for us to seat so as they're started, we all are listening of what the HR have said to them, by looking the HR it's so impressive because she had a good word and motivate the applicant on what to do's and not to dos in work. I really, I admire her as the fact of she so actually good. After photocopying the papers, they told me to laminate all the ID's. so, I did it and gave It to them after. Time passes they done the orientation, and we got home after doing the task.
Wednesday (March 6, 2024)
There's not many things to do, so we just sat and think of what we're going to do since this coming Friday is our last day of our duty. The three of us thinking on what to give as a show of gratitude. we are so actually Thankful to them because despite how they gave us a lot of tasks, we appreciate them. We have a lot of realization. first, as what the HR said that you need to be mature in your work, you need to be optimistic all the time, you need to be hardworking, and just complain always just make sure that you've done it all the to do's every day. it's so fun seeing them every day because they have the same humor that will make you laugh. It's kind a intimidating at first but once you already know them, you'll going to tell yourself it's not what you’re thinking about them. they're like our mothers in the office, while working it feels like we have 6 mothers in 1 home. I'm so happy having them.
Thursday (March 7, 2024)
It's another another, another batch of applicants for orientation. what we did yesterday is the same on what we're supposed to do today. arranging chairs, photocopying papers, laminating ID's, and I forgot to mention we also assign to give them their uniforms for work, including the shoes, t-shirt, and so on. We're so productive, we are productive since the first day of our immersion. it's kind a sad cause we're going to miss this office; it became part of our journey. For our lunch they prepare something to eat. they cooked monggo and buy foods for us. we are so thankful and forever grateful because they did that to us. after cooking, we ate lunch then we watched tv. It's already 1: pm so we started working. it's the continuation for the orientation so we sat there and just listen to them. Time passes so fast then we got home around 5 in the Afternoon.
Friday (March 8, 2024)
Yey! it's our last day, by entering the office we felt so sad cause today will be our last day of our duty, last day as a worker, last day of our immersion. By remembering the time we're they welcome us whole heartedly, teaching us, and taking care of us while we're at work. they treat us as their daughters. It's feels so home. We're going to miss the office and we're going to miss them too. There are no tasks to do so it's not so draining, and tiring this day, we cherish the time left for us to bond. in our lunch they prepare again something to eat so they cook linat-ang baboy. again, we're thankful of them. We prepare also for them. So yesterday we bought a glass and a towel to give each of them. After work where were about to go home, we gave them the presents. looking at their faces their so happy. in our gifts we add up something and it's a letter for telling them how Thankful we are every day by having them as our second mom. Thank you so much Ma'am, for the effort you put unto us. See you around and thank you so much.

My first day of my work immersion in Barangay Hall was mix of excitement and nervous. The moment I stepped into the bustling Barangay Hall, I was enveloped by a sense of community pulsating through the air. Situated at the heart of the neighborhood, it stood as a beacon of governance and unity. From the outside, it appeared modest, yet as I ventured further inside, its significance grew exponentially.
The staff of Barangay Hall we're welcoming and friendly, they teach us how to use computer and excel the barangay clearance this new set of skills are very important to me. One of the most striking aspects of my immersion was witnessing firsthand the genuine concern and dedication of the barangay officials and staff towards addressing the needs of the residents. Whether it was assisting constituents with various concerns, organizing community programs and initiatives, or coordinating with other government agencies, their commitment to serving the community was unwavering.
I had the opportunity to participate in various activities and projects during my immersion, including community clean-up drives, health and wellness seminars, and livelihood programs. These experiences not only allowed me to contribute to the betterment of the community but also gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by barangay officials in their day-to-day work.
Overall, my work immersion at the barangay hall was a truly enriching experience that left a lasting impression on me. It not only provided me with valuable insights into the inner workings of local governance but also instilled in me a greater appreciation for the tireless efforts of barangay officials and staff in serving their constituents and building stronger, more resilient communities.

MY ENTIRE WORK IMMERSION from week 1-2 (assigned at talisay city college)
my first week of immersion was definitely a bit daunting. i was sorrounded by new people and new environments, which can be a bit overwhelming for someone who's not used to it. however, i was able to push past my initial discomfort and settle into the routine of the office.
one thing that really helped me was the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that the staff created in the office. everyone is very friendly and open to answering questions, which made me feel comfortable aaking for help when i needed it.
the strategy that i used to manage my shyness was to observe and learn from the staff. i watched how they handled interaction with students and faculty members, and tried to emulate their confidence and professionalism by focusing on their positive behavior and interactions.
in the second week, i had the opportunity to take on more challenging projects and responsibilities. the office has also gotten a bit busier, as the semester was in full swing and more students were coming to the office for various reasons.
i used to manange the situations by focusing on active listening and empathy. i found that treating students with understanding and respect was often the best way to deescalate the situation and find a solution.
overall, those experience was a great opportunity for me to step outside of my comfort zone and gain valuable experience that i can use to improve myself as a person.

My 10 days experience as an immersionist student
Before our deployment in work immersion I already prepared all the things that I need for tomorrow which are my resume, application letter, my uniform, and even myself. Since Division Office is where the superintendent worked and some known people who really worked hard to make our Education presentable and smooth.
March 13 Tuesday, this is it I woke up at 6 am since I need to finalize all the things that I will bring in my duty. When I arrived in Division office Ms. Bernadez welcome us with huge smile in her face and she orient us. We introduced ourselves and asked this question; what is you expectation working in Division office? Afterwards she divided us where will be our final destination. The group of Edwin assigned in Records where Ms. Bernadez worked, my group were assigned in personnel unit. But here's a twist we asked again to introduce ourselves and state our strand, I was the only who assigned at Administrative unit and I'm a little bit nervous because I don't have anyone, I just have myself. Few moments within that day, Ms. Criselle one of the staff tasked me to segregate all the DTR or Daily time record in highschool level teachers, she instructed me what I need to do. It was a challenging tasked for me since there are plenty of schools within Talisay and when I got home I really felt the ache of my back.
My second and third day as an immersionist student in Division office. The same routine, I get the cleaning materials which is the mop and sweeper. I clean the entire floor and make it clean so that all the staff in Administrative unit when they arrived it will lessen their work and they can just sit instead of cleaning. 8:30 when ma'am Rachel tasked me to scan, change the last name to those teachers who are married and encode their names as well as their personal information in computer. Time is so fast, I ate my lunch together with Nica and Rheena and it wouldn't be complete without some chika, telling our day how it went. Since I already done the task that is assigned by me from ma'am Rachel afternoon that day, I did nothing but I helped my Glory when there is someone who will need their service records. Time check ohh it was already 5 pm, it's go home time.
March 18 my 4th day as an immersionist student and at the same time this day our first day of NAT examination. The most surprising part is I almost late since I woke at 7:08 and our NAT will start at 7:30, I wash my face then get my self ready for school and I didn't ate my breakfast since again it's time. I arrived at school at 7:25 am and I was so embarrassed since I'm the only student who is late for that day. I was just accept and move forward. 12 in the usafternoon we went to Division office to work, ma'am Aireen task me to encode the Designation and she instructed me what to do, it was so thick I just finished some and a lot more.
March 19, my 5th day and also my 2nd day in NAT examination, guess what I arrived at school at 6 am, yes 6 am I was like thinking that I know I can do it for the sake of our school and I really need to answer it seriously. Afternoon we ate our lunch and then went to Division office I continue what ma'am Aireen asked to do, I encode it as fast as I could but it was just so thick that took me at 5 pm, time is fast when you are doing something important that needed to be passed.
March 20, 21, 22 what a productive days! March 20 morning I finished what ma'am Aireen asked me to do which is the Designation letters, after that ma'am Louella tasked me to encode the clothing allowance for teachers. She instructed me what to do and I did some notes so that I can assure that all the things will smoothly went since ma'am Louella, she will be on leave. I finished the task within that day, there are one thousand plus teachers in elementary level and I encoded it within that day, and I felt really great. After that, ma'am criselle explained and she instructed me to received the DTR through computer and print it and gave it to Ma'am Flor, I extend my time for 30 minutes just to finish the tasked that is assigned to me.
March 27, continuation of my duty. When I finished sweeping the floor and clean the office I immediately worked what ma'am Rachel tasked me to do, which is the encoding of salary for those staff who made progress for their work, I also encoded the important information of those teachers who are substitute and those staff who are permanent I've finished it. Since it was a half day because it will be a holy week then we decided to duty in the afternoon. Then, ma'am Aireen told us that me and Rheena will be singing the prayer on April 1 during the flag ceremony and I was so shocked because I wasn't good at singing. Some of my schoolmates were assigned to lead the energizer. After some practice, we went outside to do some inventory and list all the clothes for unreleased CVRAA clothes and it was full of fun, since sir Pat is here with us counting then he treat us. Made some small talks and at 5 pm we took some pictures together ma'am Marf, sir Julius, Ma'am Aireen, and also sir Patrick.
April 1 my last day as an immersionist student. When woke up in the morning I am with mix emotions because I didn't know how to feel, I will be happy knowing that I am in the last day in my duty but at the same I was a little bit sad since I am already attached to those great and very nice people within my 2 weeks.
As usual, I clean the office then I decided to continue encoding the Leave cards. Unttil Rheena went into my work place to inform that there will be a small appreciation for us, they treat us with plenty of delicious pizzas and took some pictures for remembrance. For my two weeks as an immersionist student, I am proud to say that I've learned a lot only in using the excel but I've also learned how to appreciate those people who really work hard for the sake of all the teachers and students. I also appreciate the dedication and hardwork of my family for me to be able to have a good future. Before I went home ma'am Aireen and other staff for the last time give me some piece of advise that really hit me.

WORK EMMERSION
(Assigned at Baranggay hall)
1-2 weeks
During the first week of work emmersion. As a student, it is common to feel anxious, particularly if it is your first time as a novice. Learning new things, as well as how and why they work. Work immersion is a valuable learning experience for students. Hello Tumblr! I'm Abegail Cabanes, a senior high school student, and I'm sharing my journey on how amazing, enjoyable, and skill-building my job immersion has been.
I've been assigned in baranggay hall (office of cansojong) from the starting point I felt excited because I really want to feel how's the feeling as a working, being busy the different of being a student. I am willing to take a risk just to learn something new.Every day, senior team members assign us tasks to complete. My partner and I have new tasks to complete each day. In the past, I have really enjoyed the office since we have been closer to the senior members, who treat us like friends rather than the trainer or students. However, in the actual world of work, you can't always count on people to treat you well. Sometimes, you'll communicate with people who have a bad attitude or who aren't as compatible as you are. In these situations, you just need to be more accurate and understanding because, at the end of the day, we're all different
First week, I gladly say that the surrounding of office was really good especially the people in their. They are so friendly open arm welcome us. I really expecting that the first day rather to say 1 week will be going to busy the whole surroundings will be busy more focus on paper works but no, it wasn't.Apparantly, they just introduce for the team and got familiar with the office layout. Attending small meeting to understand how to works the task and the rules of the office. Also we received training on how office software system will work.
I'm happy to report that, for the first week, the office environment was excellent, especially the people who work there. They greet us with such warmth and friendliness. It turned out that the first day—or, more accurately, the first week—was not as busy as I had anticipated. Apparently, they were just getting everyone acquainted with the office layout and introducing themselves to one another. attending brief meetings to learn about task execution and office policies. We also received training on the use of the office software system.
For the 2nd week, I felt sad it's because the day is to fast I am not ready to discharge working at the office, I learn a lot from them.I've learned how to communicate into clients and observation on what those usually client wants. Managing the computer and having fun with senior when if it have free time. I am really trained in just 2 weeks but I know to my self that it doesn't enough so if I have a chance to extend more I really want badly.. I will miss the office the chair that I've always sitting and talk to some client about their problems or concerns answering the phone calls and act like really a worker in office. After all that 2 weeks are really special to can't forget those moments and memories this those place.

Tula para kay Rina
Kung hihilingin kita matutupad ba?
Kung sabihin ko sa tadhana mahal kita, makikinig ba ?
Mananalo ba kapag ipinaglaban kita ?
O susugal nanaman at walang mapapala ?
Dapat pa bang maging matapang ?
Nawala ka na rin naman nung una
Bakit ka pa dapat hangirin ng pangalawa?
Siguro nga tama na.
Wala nang babalikan

TULA PARA SA AKING MGA MAGULANG
Ang aking butihing mga magulang,
Na sa pagpapaalala ay hindi nagkulang.
Hindi mababawasan ang ating pagmamahalan,
At hindi ito matutumbasan nino man.
Pag ibig ko sa inyo ay tunay,
Alam niyo iyan nanay at tatay.

MY ADVOCACY ABOUT SCHOOL PROBLEM
One of the most common problems that students experience in school is bullying. Bullying can take many forms, including physical, verbal, and cyberbullying, and can have serious consequences for both the victim and the bully. Bullying can lead to low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and even suicide. As advocates for students, we can work to address this problem by promoting empathy and kindness among students. We can also work to create a safe and supportive school environment that is tolerant of differences. One possible solution to this problem is to implement an anti-bullying program in schools. This program can include education and training for students, parents, and faculty on the negative impact of bullying. The program can also provide support and resources for victims of bullying, such as counseling services and a reporting system for incidents of bullying. Another solution is to increase the presence of school counselors and mental health professionals in schools. This can provide a safe space for students who are experiencing bullying to talk about their experiences and receive support. Counselors can also work with students who are engaging in bullying behavior to help them understand the impact of their actions and develop more positive ways of interacting with others. In conclusion, bullying is a serious problem in schools that can have far-reaching consequences for students. As advocates for students, we must work to create safe and supportive school environments that promote empathy, kindness, and respect for others. By implementing anti-bullying programs and increasing the presence of mental health professionals in schools, we can help to address this problem and ensure that all students have the opportunity to thrive in a safe and supportive school environment.

NAGUGULUHAN

My 5 day Work Immersion Experience
Day 1 - April 11, 2023
This day was my first day on the job at Brajseal, and I was excited to be a part of the team. The day started with an orientation by the admin, who explained the rules and regulations of the company. My assigned task for the day was to encode receipts.
Day 2 - April 12, 2023
The second day was a bit more physical as we started removing the old paint from the water pump. It was a difficult task, but it was a great way to learn how to work as a team.
Day 3 - April 13, 2023
We continued removing the paint from the water pump, and it was a good thing that we did. It turned out that we missed some spots the day before, so we had to go back and touch them up.
Day 4 - April 14, 2023
The fourth day was spent cleaning the rust from the pump. It was important to make sure that the surface was smooth and clean before painting it. It was hard work, but we were determined to do a good job.
Day 5 - April 17, 2023
On this day, we painted all of the water pumps that we had cleaned the day before. It was a satisfying feeling to see the pumps transform from rusty old machines to shiny, new-looking ones. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I felt proud to be a part of the team.
