People who ship Vashwood just based off of Tristamp or ‘98 are so funny to me, and not because it isn’t valid of course! Ship whatever you want to ship in general, tbh! And they have such fun dynamics, they’re hilarious and heartbreaking, it’s great!

But then Trimax Vashwood exists. And it just waltzes into the room, it tears down everything you thought you knew, it breaks you, it rebuilds you, your worldview is shattered, and you’re grateful for it. No matter if you ship it or not, regardless of if you see it as romantic, the love between these men changes you and it will haunt you for the rest of your life.

I know we joke about Cardan's pining a lot but man, can you imagine how hard that must've been? Where you are so sure of your feelings toward the person and yet, they keep giving mixed signals. Jude always held him close only to push him away again. Cardan must've felt so defeated and used but still, he hangs on to that flicker of hope that he might get his feelings returned.

The New Sequence is absolutely wonderful because yes, they are doing a great job of infiltrating society, but it's frankly hilarious how blatantly un-stealthy they can be. Like sure, walking around bright-eyed in public would certainly attract attention, absolutely. But is it any better to be recognized as the people who wear sunglasses in a cave.

talking entirely character wise. do you think today was a bit of a wake up call for bad. do you think he heard red screaming out of their minds begging for toxic gas and thought about how they’ve lost their minds just a little bit. do you think that when he was given an immediate no when he asked where the red egg was to help them defend he understood how deep of a rift he created. do you think as he sat there silent while the rest of red cheered at killing the egg statue, he wondered if he could have pushed them a little too far. do you think that maybe, just maybe, with the red sun beating down on him in that desert, the gas mask team cheering and dancing, he felt for a single moment the consequences of his actions? that maybe, if he hadn’t started out so hostile with extreme tactics, if he hadn’t been so bloodthirsty and ruthless, if he had had just a little bit of hesitation, that his own attempts at diplomacy would have gone over better? that the rest of the teams would have listened? that red would have trusted his judgement on the egg statues, or at the very least respected him enough to honor an agreement? do you think he realizes that burning his bridges may have fucked him over?

something something little kid zuko being told about pirates and falling IN LOVE with the concept

suddenly he’s thirteen and banished and it seems like the end of the world but he’s also got a ship. cue zuko in recovery and his coping system is just. pretend to be a pirate. and the crew all just play along because they don’t know how else to help a traumatized thirteen year old. eventually the pretending is no longer pretending and they’re just actually pirates. zuko INSISTS they have to get a new ship because that hunk of metal simply isn’t pirate-y enough. zuko doesn’t bother once to think about the avatar, he just has a single minded focus toward being a pirate. it works so well until suddenly aang + co crash into his life through the unfortunate existence of zhao. gaang later tries to rope zuko into joining them but refuses. zuko n crew help out during the eclipse attack, which is how zuko ends up just traveling with the gaang. after the war zuko is like “i am not being the fire lord i’m literally a child pirate” and just goes back to what he’s been doing but with the added bonus of the avatar being his friend so nobody really wants to go after him for being a pirate

Detective Conan began its serialization in Shonen Sunday 29 years ago, and it's still going strong!

I think this is the first Cone I ever drew, in December 2012. At the time, I had no idea that several years in the future, this series would become so dear to me—and would introduce me to so many wonderful people!
