The most expensive Flower Necklaces in the world
https://oragift.shop/collections/flower-necklace
Flowers are a symbol of beauty, love, and elegance. They are often used to adorn jewelry pieces, especially necklaces, to enhance their charm and appeal. Some of the most exquisite and expensive Ora Gift Flower Necklaces in the world are made with rare and precious materials, such as diamonds, rubies, pearls, and gold. These flower necklaces are not only stunning to look at, but also have a rich history and significance behind them.
Here are some of the most expensive flower necklaces ever sold, and what makes them so special. Check out some flower necklaces.
A Heritage in Bloom - $200 Million
This is the most expensive necklace in the world, designed by Chinese master jeweler Wallace Chan. It consists of 383.4 carats of white and yellow diamonds, accented by a colorless diamond that alone is worth $35 million. The necklace took three years to complete, and features 24 D-color internally flawless diamonds, the rarest and most valuable type of diamonds. The necklace can be worn in 27 different ways, and has a flower motif that represents harmony and prosperity.
L'Incomparable Diamond Necklace - $55 Million
This necklace holds the Guinness World Record for the most valuable necklace in the world. It was created by Mouawad, a Swiss luxury jewelry brand, and features a 407.48-carat yellow diamond, the largest internally flawless diamond in the world. The diamond was discovered by a young girl in the Democratic Republic of Congo in the 1980s, and was later acquired by Mouawad. The necklace also has 230 smaller diamonds, totaling 91.8 carats, and is set in 18-karat rose gold.
Heart of the Ocean - $20 Million
This necklace is inspired by the famous fictional necklace worn by Kate Winslet in the movie Titanic. It was created by jeweler Harry Winston, and features a 15-carat blue diamond, surrounded by white diamonds. The necklace was worn by Gloria Stuart, who played the older version of Winslet's character, at the 1998 Academy Awards. The necklace was later sold at a charity auction for $20 million, making it one of the most expensive pieces of movie memorabilia ever sold.
Heart of the Kingdom Ruby - $14 Million
This necklace is a masterpiece by Garrard, the oldest jewelry house in the world. It features a 40.63-carat Burmese ruby, one of the rarest and most coveted gems in the world. The ruby has a heart shape, and is set in a diamond-studded pendant that can be detached and worn as a tiara. The necklace also has 155 carats of diamonds, and is made of 18-karat white gold.
Leviev's Vivid Yellow Diamond Pendant - $10 Million
This necklace is a creation by Leviev, a renowned diamond company founded by Israeli billionaire Lev Leviev. It features a 77.12-carat vivid yellow diamond, the largest of its kind in the world. The diamond has a pear shape, and is suspended from a platinum chain that has 108 smaller diamonds, totaling 31.65 carats. The necklace is a stunning example of the beauty and rarity of yellow diamonds, which are formed by the presence of nitrogen in the carbon structure.
Christie's Diamond Necklace - $8.14 Million
This necklace is a vintage piece that was sold by Christie's, the world's leading auction house, in 2013. It features a 52.58-carat D-color flawless diamond, the largest of its shape and quality ever sold at auction. The Mrs. Winston - $5.8 Million

Oscars 2020: From Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn to Angelina Jolie - The best in fashion, ranked - fashion and trends
The red carpet is all about being green and dressing responsibly now with Hollywood taking their efforts to reduce carbon footprints a notch higher this awards season. For the recently concluded 2020 BAFTAs, guests were invited to consider wearing a sustainable design or repeat an outfit they’d already worn before at the award ceremony. The Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild and Critics’ Choice Awards galas all served plant-based menus, instead of steak dinners that are typical of celebrity-packed events. The Oscars too will be serving a 70 per cent plant-based menu this time. While sustainability is a widespread discussion in fashion, questions have been raised towards the ‘greenism’ phenomena in the fashion industry. Speaking of the expected fashion tonight at the Oscars, a stylist predicts that this year will be a return to extravagance in terms of colour, shapes, sequins on the red carpet. Before the 1990s, several celebrities chose their red carpet dresses. Oscars fashion history is often remembered for the extraordinary and eccentric outfit choices that included torn denim, sequinned jumpsuits and even Indian headdresses on some actors. Also read: Oscar’s 2020: The much-coveted 24-karat gold-plated knight is worth only Rs 72 The New York Times asked in 2004, “Does the glamour of the Golden Globes steal the scene from Oscar?”, observing that the potential winners and nominees offered designers more opportunity to have their work featured on the red carpet. One of the most-talked-about red carpet gowns was the green Versace gown J.Lo wore to the Grammy Awards in 2000 (and was seen in again a short while ago, not to mention the debate about how Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Ralph and Russo gown at the 2020 Grammys was inspired from Jennifer Lopez’s look). Interestingly the red carpet has turned green on several notable occasions when stars shone in vintage or custom-made gowns that have a history of their own and a narrative attached to them. Here’s our choice of the best from the red carpet, ranked according to the year of appearance. Marilyn Monroe, 1951: was never awarded or nominated for an Academy Award, but she managed to be a head-turner on the red carpet in 1951 when she was asked to present an award. The actress chose a black tulle dress with a deep neckline for the do. Audrey Hepburn, 1954: This exquisite gown made by Givenchy for Audrey Hepburn is all about style and elegance. The dress even has its own Wikipedia page! An icon on and off the screen, Audrey Hepburn often worked with the house of Givenchy for her red carpet appearances and her films. Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress designed by Hubert de Givenchy that she’s seen wearing in the opening scene of the 1961 romantic comedy film Breakfast at Tiffany’s is cited as one of the most iconic items of clothing in the history of twentieth-century fashion and probably the most famous little black dress (LBD) of all time. Elizabeth Taylor, 1961: The actress opted for a Dior dress that enhanced her slim waist for the 1961 Oscars when she won the Best Actress award for her role in A Venus in Mink. Also read| Oscar’s 2020: Lesser known interesting facts about the Academy Awards 2020 Barbra Streisand, 1969: Barbra Streisand took a slight detour for owning fashion on the Oscar red carpet in 1969. It was a trouser suit by Arnold Scaasi instead of a traditional gown that has been highly debated as both the best and worst outfit since. What’s more, the outfit turned out to be completely transparent which the actress later confessed that she had no idea the lights on stage would shine through. Farrah Fawcett, 1978: The actress’ gilded Stephen Burrows gown has spawned a million replicas for the disco set after it was first seen on her at the coveted awards ceremony. The same year, Goldie Hawn too exuded effortless glamour girl in a metallic wrap dress. Elizabeth Hurley, 1995: The model, actress and the quintessential Versace girl must have rained on everyone’s fashion parade that evening back in 1995 in a sparkling curve-hugging dress. Sharon Stone, 1998: The actor’s identified by her offbeat roles but she even chose to wear something entirely different at the 1998 Oscars. She walked down the Oscars red carpet in a lavender satin Vera Wang skirt with a men’s button-down shirt. Halle Berry, 2002: She became the first African-American woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress but her partially sheer floral gown by Elie Saab is one we love to look back on. Kate Hudson, 2003: Her champagne Atelier Versace gown is no less than the stuff Hollywood royalty is made of. Michelle Williams, 2006: In a saffron Vera Wang dress, Michelle Williams created one of the most memorable fashion moments. The actress had attended the ceremony with her then-boyfriend, the late Heath Ledger, who was nominated for his role in Brokeback Mountain. Reese Witherspoon, 2006: The actress chose the vintage route which proved to be a sartorial success on the red carpet. It was a vintage (1955) Christian Dior gown for the evening. Nicole Kidman, 2007: The actress’s red Balenciaga gown was the style equivalent of businesswoman meets party girl with its bow draping from her neck into a train behind her. Marion Cotillard, 2008: French actress Marion Cotillard stood out in her Jean Paul Gaultier dress that looked as though it was made of fish scales. Penélope Cruz, 2009: The actress went vintage in a 1950 Pierre Balmain couture for her Oscars 2009 look. Anne Hathaway, 2011: The actor’s hosting gig with James Franco must not have gone down well in Oscars history but her Valentino dress from the fall 2002 couture collection surely became a talking point. Meryl Streep, 2012: The powerhouse talent had always stayed safe in the fashion department until 2012 when she wore a bold Lanvin number for the ceremony. She was awarded Best Actress for playing Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady that year. Michelle Williams, 2012: The cutesy peplum made a comeback on Michelle Williams’ red tulle Louis Vuitton gown. Angelina Jolie, 2012: If there’s the one dress we will always remember from the Oscars red carpet, it will be this one Angelina Jolie wore that also spawned a million memes. Angeline Jolie’s Atelier Versace black gown with a thigh-high slit came to be called “Angie leg” since this appearance. Gwyneth Paltrow, 2012: Another trend that started the same night was Gwyneth Paltrow’s caped trend for Tom Ford. The dress gave way to popular looks since from cocktail dresses to outerwear. Jennifer Aniston, 2013: Jennifer Aniston presented an award in this crimson Valentino Haute Couture gown. Jennifer Lawrence, 2013: J Law signed up as the face of Dior in 2012 and the French brand has dressed this gifted actor for all important moments since, including this classy gown she wore for her Oscar 2013 win. Remember her graceful fall as she went up on stage to accept the award? Loved the confidence with which she owned this moment! Lupita Nyong’o, 2015: A style icon in her own right, Lupita Nyong’o wore a baby-blue Prada dress, followed by an intricate pearl-covered Calvin Klein Collection gown. Lady Gaga, 2016: It’s difficult to not appreciate a sea of beautiful gowns on the Oscars red carpet but Lady Gaga has always done it differently. This Brandon Maxwell jumpsuit looked like an haute couture gown that Lady Gaga carried with much aplomb. In 2019 however, Lady Gaga channelled Audrey Hepburn in a custom, sculptural black gown by Alexander McQueen that she paired with a 128-carat Tiffany diamond necklace elbow-length black leather gloves. Her live performance with Bradley Cooper too became one of the talking points that year. The Oscars are not only about awarding great roles, hearing inspiring speeches or enjoying the musical presentations. Fashion, style and glamour is an important part of Hollywood’s most important evening. The fascination with Oscar outfits is eventually what stays with us once the awards wrap up. Dressing for the Academy Awards is serious business because the choice of an Oscar-worthy dress is almost as imperative as an Oscar-worthy role. Are Oval Engagement Rings Making a Comeback?
Oval engagement rings have been trending in 2020 and are expected to rise in popularity even more in 2021. Last month, Patrick Whitesell and Pia Loyola announced their engagement and she proudly showed off a large oval engagement ring. Earlier in 2020, Jasmine Tookes, a model for Victoria's Secret, proudly showed off her oval engagement ring when she announced an upcoming marriage to Juan David Borrero.
Ms. Tookes' engagement ring features a 7-carat diamond with an oval cut in a band of 18-carat yellow gold. Complete with diamond-embellished prongs and a hidden halo, the ring is estimated to be worth more than $250,000. As an added feature, the prongs holding the diamond are made of platinum to provide extra security.
Princess Diana's Oval Engagement Ring
It was approximately 40 years ago when Princess Diana proudly displayed her oval engagement ring. She chose the ring herself from a jeweler’s catalogue and it was not custom-made. Anybody could have purchased it. This decision to purchase a ring from a catalogue was a detour from the usual tradition of having a royal engagement ring custom-made. Nobody knows exactly why she decided to choose the style or the colour she did and it may have just come down to the fact that she loved the ring.
When Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer announced their engagement on February 24, 1981, the public saw the engagement ring for the first time. It is an oval, 12-carat sapphire ring that is set in white gold. There are 14 solitaire diamonds that surround the oval sapphire and it is simply beautiful to behold.
This was the ring that brought oval engagement rings up to the forefront in popularity and they are certainly making a comeback now. Princess Diana's special engagement ring is now being worn by Kate, the reigning Duchess of Cambridge.
About Oval Cut Diamonds
If you are thinking about buying an oval cut diamond as the focus for your engagement ring, there are a few interesting things you should know about this shape of diamond first. Oval diamonds can be placed in trendy rings or can be a part of a classic style. These diamonds are not graded, however, from gemological laboratories so it’s best to get an expert to look at the diamond before purchasing the ring if at all possible.
Oval Diamond Bowties
Oval cuts have a dark area in them that it is also known as a bowtie. It shows up across the centre of the diamond and while some bowties are subtle, others are more prominent. If you are looking for a diamond that sparkles from every angle, you may want to consider getting a round brilliant diamond instead. These round diamonds reflect just about all the light from the diamonds directly to your eyes. This isn't possible with an oval diamond.
Although the whole oval diamond won't sparkle, it doesn't mean that this diamond cut doesn't sparkle at all. Many oval diamonds have a brilliant sparkle to them.
Any diamond with a fancy shape leaks some light. The bowtie in the oval diamond may be considered to be a fatal flaw by some while others will adore the bowtie pattern. You'll need to take a look at different oval cuts to see whether you like the bowtie appearance or not. You'll also have to consider whether you would prefer a light or a dark bowtie. There are also bowties that can only be noticed when viewed from specific angles.
It's also important to note that some of the oval cut diamonds show a sparkle even in the region of the bowtie. These are the best oval cuts around and the type you should be looking for. If you see a diamond oval that has a dead area that is quite large right in the centre of the diamond, the ring doesn't hold a lot of value.
Oval Diamond Costs
If you are on a budget, you may want to consider getting an oval cut versus a round diamond. The shape of the diamond helps to determine the price of the ring and when you compare the cost of an oval versus a round-shaped diamond with the same weight, the oval usually costs approximately 25% less. The oval diamond ring will also appear to be bigger than the round diamond ring since it has a larger surface.
How to Judge an Oval Diamond
Since there is no formal laboratory grades for oval diamonds, these gemstones can still be cut either very well or poorly. In general, the best oval cuts will have more sparkle to them. The best way to judge whether the diamond has been cut well or poorly is to simply look at it to see for yourself how sparkly it is.
The Best Colour for Oval Diamond Engagement Rings
When you are shopping for an oval engagement ring make sure that the diamond has a high colour grade. A lower colour grade in a diamond oval tends to stand out more than it would in another cut. The colour grade should be at least an H. If the diamond is larger in size and is more than 2 carats, you may want to look for a G or an F colour.
Oval engagement rings can feature any type of gemstone and are available in a number of different styles and colours. If you do want to go ahead with a diamond oval cut engagement ring, however, it's important that you see the diamond in person and avoid ordering one online. Since there is no official grading system for diamond ovals, it's important that you see the diamond in person and look at it from all sides and angles. This is the only true way to know whether this diamond is the one for you.

Where Is Princess Diana’s Engagement Ring From The Crown Now?
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – FEBRUARY 24: Lady Diana Spencer Reveals Her Sapphire And Diamond Engagement Ring While She And Prince Charles Pose For Photographs In The Grounds Of Buckingham Palace Following The Announcement Of Their Engagement. (Photo by Tim Graham Photo Library via Getty Images)
According to season 4 of The Crown, when Prince Charles (played by Josh O’Connor) asked Lady Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin) to marry him, she was presented with not just one ring, but several, to choose from. In episode 4 of the Netflix series, titled “Fairytale,” Diana first selects a ring with a Burmese ruby in the center, a royal family heirloom, before changing her mind. She then opts for a 12-carat oval Ceylon sapphire, surrounded by 14 diamonds, with an 18-karat white gold band, called the Marguerite ring. According to the show, this was the largest and most expensive of all the options presented to her. “And you like that one because?” asks Queen Elizabeth II (Olivia Colman). “Because it reminds me of my mother’s engagement ring,” Diana responds. “And, it’s the same colour as my eyes.”
While the scene was shot in the Heaven Room at Burghley House, an Elizabethan estate in Stamford, Lincolnshire, the real-life ring selection took place in February 1981 at Windsor Castle. According to Royal Secrets: The View from Downstairs by Stephen Barry, one of Charles’ valets at the time of the engagement, Diana said of her selection, “The queen’s eyes popped when I picked out the largest one.” According to The Court Jeweller, at the time of purchase, the ring would have been priced at £28,500, which would amount to about £123,000 today. Per Vogue, the blue colour, its similarity to her mother’s engagement ring, and the impressive size of the ring are some of the theories behind why Diana choose the sapphire engagement ring in real life.
The Crown S4. Picture shows: Princess Diana (EMMA CORRIN)
Over the years, rumours have circulated about the royal family being unhappy with Diana’s choice of ring, which was purchased from Garrard, the official jeweller of the royal family from 1843 until 2007, rather than custom-made for the Princess Di. However, Lauren Kiehna, a historian and writer whose blog The Court Jeweller specialises in royal jewellery, told Refinery29, “I’ve never read anything that suggests that specific members of the family were upset about the ring.” In fact, all signs point to the style being a popular one among royals, thanks to a sapphire and diamond cluster brooch worn by the former Queen of England, Queen Victoria. Victoria was given the brooch, also designed by Garrard, as a wedding gift from her husband Prince Albert in 1840. The brooch has since been passed down through the royal family, with Queen Elizabeth II wearing it to meet John F. Kennedy in 1961.
Following Diana and Charles’ engagement, the shape of the ring, an oval center gemstone surrounded by diamonds, became revered by the public, so much so that replicas became incredibly popular in the engagement ring market. This isn’t surprising: Not only was Diana considered a fashion icon during their marriage and afterward (they separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996), but the late Princess of Wales continues to inspire fashion trends to this day.
Despite her divorce from Prince Charles, Diana never stopped wearing her engagement ring. Upon her death in 1997, it was placed in the care of the royal family, where it remained until it landed on Kate Middleton’s, now the Duchess of Cambridge, finger in 2010, when Prince William proposed. “It’s very special to me,” William said during the couple’s engagement interview. “As Kate’s very special to me now, it was right to put the two together. It was my way of making sure my mother didn’t miss out on today, and the excitement, and the fact that we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together.” Per Forbes, once again, the ring sent sapphire sales skyrocketing: Natural Sapphire Company, the gem vendor for luxury jewellery brands like Tiffany & Co. and Cartier, saw a 300% increase in sales in the three months following William and Kate’s engagement.
The Crown S4. Picture shows: Diana Princess of Wales (EMMA CORRIN). Filming Location: Burghley House
Interestingly, the ring wasn’t William’s to give to his future bride. That is, not until his younger brother, Prince Harry, gave him permission to do so. In The Diana Story, an Amazon Prime documentary released in 2017, it was revealed by her butler Paul Burrell that, upon Diana’s death, William and Harry were given the opportunity to choose an item of hers to have as a keepsake. “I’d like mummy’s Cartier watch, the one that Grandpa Spencer gave to her for her 21st birthday,” William said, according to Burrell. As for Harry, Burrell recalled him saying, “I remember when I held mummy’s hand when I was a small boy and that ring always hurt me because it was so big.” For that reason, he chose her engagement ring. But when the time came for William to propose to Middleton, Harry passed it to his older brother, so that, according to Burrell’s recollection of what Harry said to William, “One day that ring will be sat on the throne of England.” In 2017, when Harry proposed to Meghan Markle, he had a ring specially made by Cleave and Company, the jeweller that took over from Garrard in 2007, using three diamonds. The two smaller diamonds were plucked from his mother’s jewellery collection, People reported, while the larger, centre diamond was purchased in Botswana, a special place for the couple.

And that's where a lot of small businesses and entrepreneurs fall down cheap ball gowns*%^%#
It is so much easier said than done. I wrote an article a few weeks ago about keeping things simple, and making it my top goal for 2008. Colored Engagement Rings Inspired By Celebs Betches
Engagement ring trends are a funny thing. Mostly because they symbolize eternal love blah, blah, blah, but also because they’re something you’re (hopefully) going to be flaunting for decades to come. These aren’t regular trends in shoes that come and go—these are like, v serious trends that you often can’t afford to f*ck up. Obviously, these precious jewels are expensive af and unless you’re, say a celebrity like Ariana or Pete, you can’t afford to buy a giant rock of a diamond and then change your mind a few months later (too soon?). While we’re on the topic of Ariana and Pete, in addition to mistaken early engagements, jewelers have been seeing a spike in colored diamonds and gemstones. Thanks to trendsetter Kate Middleton, tons of people have been wanting to rock a stunning sapphire or more recently, like Lady Gaga, a blinding pink diamond on their hand. If you’re one of those who are obsessed with colored engagement rings (hi, same here) but are looking for a much, much more affordable option, you’re in luck. No need to thank me. Here are some recently engaged celebs who have worn a one-of-a-kind colorful gem and the matching dupes you can buy for yourself without breaking the bank.
1. Lady Gaga
The singer’s rock is said to be a “6-7 carat pink sapphire with a diamond halo totaling 3-4 carats,” according to the president of WP Diamonds.

4. Iggy Azalea
First things first, Iggy is the realest. She broke up with her ex-fiancé Nick Young a year after their engagement when she caught him cheating. Then, she tweeted about it and later stated on TV that she burned his clothes in a literal bonfire. Honestly, well-deserved, IMO. As for the ring, People says Young designed the 10.43-carat ring himself. It consists of an 8.15-carat yellow diamond and a white diamond halo set into white gold.

Riveting, none of these songs are ones that I’ve been listening to much recently but my playlist has 730 songs on it.
