“Pansy,” Harry hisses at Pansy’s shoulder, partially exposed by the haphazard drape of her dressing gown. “What the fuck?” “I can’t come,” Pansy moans, then sniffles loudly. “I’m ill, Harry. You know how Draco gets when he’s ill. It’s not worth the risk to both of you.” “You can’t do this to me.” Pansy is doing it to Harry—the doing is already in progress, which is why he’s crouched in front of the Floo in the workroom part of their offices at Park and Sons Private Eyes.  “It’s not my choice. It’s not my fault. If I was healthy, you know I’d be there with my power skirt-suit on and my sunglasses in place and my red lipstick all ready to go. But I can’t get up. My head is throbbing.” “Take a potion!” “A potion won’t help.” Pansy coughs, a weak, pathetic little sound. It immediately raises Harry’s suspicions. What really raises his suspicions is that she wriggles her hips at the end of her cough. Harry’s not trying to look at her hips. Really, Ron? Pansy put you in a Body-Bind and slithered all over your dick and—” Pansy snickers. “He’s not in a Body-Bind now.” “Merlin’s balls. Get off him and come to work. I’m dressed for the mission and you’re fine.” “I’m not,” Pansy whines. “I have a deficiency.” “A dick deficiency?” Harry shouts. “An emergency dick deficiency that’s causing you to totally abandon me? A dickficiency?” From the earthquake-level shaking in Pansy’s shoulders, she’s doing her best to hide belly laughs. “Vit—” Pansy makes several hissing sounds in a row that sound even more like suppressed laughter. “Vitamin D,” she chokes out.

I laughed so much writing this that I almost became injured. From laughing. I had the time of my LIFE.

Hi lovely people. We loved the fics posted for Round One and are coming back for Round Two! We've also included our prompt submissions list from Round One at the bottom of this post.

Our new and updated Rules and Guidelines:

There is no minimum or maximum word count requirement.

Fics must be completed when posted to AO3. No WIPs.

This fest is not anonymous. Feel free to post snippets or teasers. (Make sure to tag @1dsoulmatefest )

As this is a One Direction fest, one of the members must be included in the main pairing.

Pairings do not need to be romantic. They can be platonic or simply sexual.

There will be no restriction on the writing of explicit, sensitive, or potentially triggering content, though this must be tagged appropriately.

All AUs are allowed such as omegaverse, Mpreg, girl direction, etc. as long as soulmates are the main focus. Any variation of soulmate AUs are allowed.

In the name of community we strongly discourage the use of AI images. We gladly help you find an artist to work with you on your moodboard or any fic related graphics.

Please make sure to check your emails regularly, especially when it comes to check ins. We will send one follow up email if there is no response, but we will have to assume you've dropped out of the fest otherwise.

Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered (1/1 | 2,584 words | Complete | Remus Lupin Fest 2024) It is the Marauders final year at Hogwarts and the Graduation Ball is fast approaching. But Remus doesn't know how to dance. Luckily, he has just the friend to show him.

Patient Potions Master (15/15 | 28,915 words | Complete) It is the beginning of another week during Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts and tempers are once again tested during Double Potions. About me

Adult, first Gen Wolfstar shipper and Maraudra-era fanfic writer from England. I work full time and have three cats. My pronouns are she/her. I'm a neurospicy, ENFJ, triple Scorpio.

I returned to the fandom last year after a long hiatus to edit and re-post my ancient fics. I will also be creating new work with the Marauders and the First Wizarding War at their heart.

What pairings can you expect?

My content focuses on the characters of Remus and Sirius. Their relationship, as friends, enemies and more is at the heart of what I write. Other pairings, romantic or otherwise, may be depicted.

Some final things -

My personal perspective of the characters and my headcanon has been formed over 20+ years in the fandom. As such, my perspectives are shaped by my experiences. These may sometimes differ to others, and those of new gen fans. I respect all fans to interpret characters any way they chose, and hope others will treat my content the same.

I do not endorse the views of J.K. Rowling in anyway. Her views are very painful to me and for a long time I had to step back from the fandom as a result. I want my blog and content to be a safe space, for myself and for others. This is my escape from the world.

I have not read All The Young Dudes. I had stepped back from the fandom for sometime when the fic exploded. I am grateful that so many people have found a route into the Marauder-era fandom through this work. I support all fellow creators of content who shape the world and characters in ways that speak to them.
