はせから連絡が来た。【お久しぶりです】って。別れてもう3ヶ月半くらいが経つ。一緒に観に行ったボヘミアンラプソディーの映画とか熱海とか築地の海鮮とかそういう物に触れる度に私のことを思い出したらしかった。付き合っていた頃のこととか別れたときのこととか今のこととかたくさんやり取りした。1.5hくらい送信受信の繰り返し。

【一方的に別れを押し付けてごめんね】と言われた。胸が傷んだ。はせが私のことを大好きでいてくれた時、私他の男に抱かれてたんだよ。他の男のことが大好きだったんだよ。はせにたくさん嘘もついた。きっとたくさん心配してたと思う。うまく眠れない夜もあったと思う。今の私みたいに。はせ、私と別れて本当に良かったんだよ。こんな酷い女と一緒にいたら駄目だよ。本当に好きでいてくれてたんだな。とても幸せなことだったな。

はせの写真が送られてきた。すこし変わっていた。どこがとはうまく言えないけれど私には成長したはせに見えた。優しそうな顔で笑っていた。懐かしいなと思った。優しすぎて泣けてしまった。私はどうしてあんなにも酷いことたちをしてしまったのかな。どんな脳味噌してたらあの酷いことたちをできたんだろう。あの頃のはせは本当に可哀想だった。見えるところでも見えないところでも傷つけまくっていた。本当にごめんね。
