Hi! Thank you for your Eternal Diva insights! Once again pulling my hair out due to offhand extremely accurate comments you make. I have a question. What do you think the puzzle is about? :D
Hello hello and thank you! Please don't pull your hair out đš. (Now I wonder what among all those words you exactly mean WHAT DID I SAY)
As for your question, I don't really know but I do have some theories after thinking about it. As the guy in the top-hat likes to say, every puzzle has an answer. Questions and problems also have answersâ now we can only work backwards with whatever we can glean from the clues the film gives us.
The machine is clearly serving a musical purpose, and after pondering, I realised it could be playing the Puzzle Theme (because we are in a puzzle it would make sense!!), which while not narratively useful, it is fanservice, and it would be fucking epic and awesome. I would scream if that were the case. Like imagine you're in this hellish nightmare and suddenly you hear The Ominous Puzzle Theme. The machine reminds me both of a music box device and a book music player (and well, puzzle themes use similar sounds to a music box). But, and here is the but, if it is indeed playing the Puzzle Theme, which it could not, what purpose does it serve for the puzzle itself? Why is such a big machine necessary for that? And the characters did take notice of the machine. They didn't notice the numbers that I saw, even when in that frame it seemed like they were projected over the castle, but they did notice the machine and ran away.
If the machine is just decoration, a way to set the puzzle mood (which I doubt) then its presence shouldn't matter for the puzzle itself. The puzzle does seem to be related to the situation at hand, the predicament they're in.
Thinking back on some puzzles 001, namely the first puzzles in Curious Village and Pandora's Box (and the second puzzle in Lost Future follows a similar theme) it could ask a very simple, introductory question: Where the fuck are we going?
That could be it, the destination of the ship. It is logical to wonder where could the ship go, if they're trapped in it. The crystal, the whale and the fossil might shed some clues as to its destination, but I don't fully know what that is? Maybe the place where they were found? The LSO went "A-ha, I know where these artifacts were found! I know where this ship is going!" Knowing's one relative geographical position when lost and in a dire situation is an useful asset.
Another theory I have is: What is the purpose of this ship? Of this theatre? What is its true nature? That does seem a little more complicated for a first puzzle, but it is a question they all must have. The artifacts do point to a purpose beyond opera performances, especially since 1) the LSO was invited and 2) he seems to recognise them. Maybe the ship is a exploratory vessel, maybe it's a contraband ship, maybe it's a government secret. Knowing the purpose of the ship might help them understand the reason why they were trapped and a clue as to who did that. The musical element can also play a part in this theory.
The musical machine, if I try to factor it in, does throw a wrench into my half-baked, uncooked, raw, mouldy theories. It could be playing an instrumental version of a song that everyone in-universe knows, a song that has lyrics that contain the crystal, the whale and the fossil. By analysing these lyrics, one could theoretically decode a message, the answer to the puzzle. It could be destination, it could be its purpose, it could be where the hell is the helm to stop this vehicle and turn it around. That's a really wild guess, though. Sort of like those logic puzzles where A, B, C and D have to arrange something between themselves, giving some conditions.
Stopping the ship and returning to dry land does seem like a pressing problem everyone might want to get onto solving. I don't know how the clues factor in it, though. Maybe a secret mechanism in the whale skeleton? Maybe the machine is connected to the engines? I have no idea. A secret password found when you combine the first letters of every clue, like in the first puzzle of Spectre's Call?
But truthfully, I don't know what the puzzle could be, or what machine really is about. The frames don't give me enough information, and certainly, neither does the Layton-shaped Object. I very much doubt he picked out those three items at random, so there must be SOMETHING.
I hope you liked all these sentences. Thank you for the ask! And I'm sorry about the hair!
#this is what i like to call word vomit. or stream or consciousness? i am sorry for what is worth#without audio it's hard to know what exactly they're talking about. imagine they just said outright what the puzzle is. it would be so funny#A discovered a whale B carved a crystal and C got a fossil model. what did D get for their birthday?#a) a pat in the back b) a partridge in a pear tree c) one MILLION moneys d) another archeological artifact#and of course the LSO could recognise these artifacts because 1) he is friends with Schrader 2) he is an archaeology nerd he knows his shit#magpie ask#hourly eternal diva#tl;dr: i dont knowww đ„ș#i hope it is worth at least 20 picarats tho

"With âgreen corridorsâ that mimic the natural forest, the Colombian city is driving down temperatures â and could become five degrees cooler over the next few decades.
In the face of a rapidly heating planet, the City of Eternal Spring â nicknamed so thanks to its year-round temperate climate â has found a way to keep its cool.
Previously, MedellĂn had undergone years of rapid urban expansion, which led to a severe urban heat island effect â raising temperatures in the city to significantly higher than in the surrounding suburban and rural areas. Roads and other concrete infrastructure absorb and maintain the sunâs heat for much longer than green infrastructure.
âMedellĂn grew at the expense of green spaces and vegetation,â says Pilar Vargas, a forest engineer working for City Hall. âWe built and built and built. There wasnât a lot of thought about the impact on the climate. It became obvious that had to change.â
Efforts began in 2016 under MedellĂnâs then mayor, Federico GutiĂ©rrez (who, after completing one term in 2019, was re-elected at the end of 2023). The city launched a new approach to its urban development â one that focused on people and plants.
The $16.3 million initiative led to the creation of 30 Green Corridors along the cityâs roads and waterways, improving or producing more than 70 hectares of green space, which includes 20 kilometers of shaded routes with cycle lanes and pedestrian paths.
These plant and tree-filled spaces â which connect all sorts of green areas such as the curb strips, squares, parks, vertical gardens, sidewalks, and even some of the seven hills that surround the city â produce fresh, cooling air in the face of urban heat. The corridors are also designed to mimic a natural forest with levels of low, medium and high plants, including native and tropical plants, bamboo grasses and palm trees.
Heat-trapping infrastructure like metro stations and bridges has also been greened as part of the project and government buildings have been adorned with green roofs and vertical gardens to beat the heat. The first of those was installed at MedellĂnâs City Hall, where nearly 100,000 plants and 12 species span the 1,810 square meter surface.
âItâs like urban acupuncture,â says Paula Zapata, advisor for MedellĂn at C40 Cities, a global network of about 100 of the worldâs leading mayors. âThe city is making these small interventions that together act to make a big impact.â
At the launch of the project, 120,000 individual plants and 12,500 trees were added to roads and parks across the city. By 2021, the figure had reached 2.5 million plants and 880,000 trees. Each has been carefully chosen to maximize their impact.
âThe technical team thought a lot about the species used. They selected endemic ones that have a functional use,â explains Zapata.
The 72 species of plants and trees selected provide food for wildlife, help biodiversity to spread and fight air pollution. A study, for example, identified Mangifera indica as the best among six plant species found in MedellĂn at absorbing PM2.5 pollution â particulate matter that can cause asthma, bronchitis and heart disease â and surviving in polluted areas due to its âbiochemical and biological mechanisms.â
And the urban planting continues to this day.
The groundwork is carried out by 150 citizen-gardeners like Pineda, who come from disadvantaged and minority backgrounds, with the support of 15 specialized forest engineers. Pineda is now the leader of a team of seven other gardeners who attend to corridors all across the city, shifting depending on the current priorities...
âIâm completely in favor of the corridors,â says [Victoria Perez, another citizen-gardener], who grew up in a poor suburb in the city of 2.5 million people. âIt really improves the quality of life here.â
Wilmar Jesus, a 48-year-old Afro-Colombian farmer on his first day of the job, is pleased about the projectâs possibilities for his own future. âI want to learn more and become better,â he says. âThis gives me the opportunity to advance myself.â
The projectâs wider impacts are like a breath of fresh air. MedellĂnâs temperatures fell by 2°C in the first three years of the program, and officials expect a further decrease of 4 to 5C over the next few decades, even taking into account climate change. In turn, City Hall says this will minimize the need for energy-intensive air conditioning...
In addition, the project has had a significant impact on air pollution. Between 2016 and 2019, the level of PM2.5 fell significantly, and in turn the cityâs morbidity rate from acute respiratory infections decreased from 159.8 to 95.3 per 1,000 people [Note: That means the city's rate of people getting sick with lung/throat/respiratory infections.]
Thereâs also been a 34.6 percent rise in cycling in the city, likely due to the new bike paths built for the project, and biodiversity studies show that wildlife is coming back â one sample of five Green Corridors identified 30 different species of butterïŹy.
Other cities are already taking note. BogotĂĄ and Barranquilla have adopted similar plans, among other Colombian cities, and last year SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil, the largest city in South America, began expanding its corridors after launching them in 2022.
âFor sure, Green Corridors could work in many other places,â says Zapata."

' i'll deliver a full refrigerator tied and strung up to the bottom of a helicopter every time that i visit , of course . ' of course not : though , when it came to a character like him , could anybody , sakura most especially , have really been so sure ?
setting things up this way would only make it that much more entertaining when he did inevitably welcome sakura to a few new accessories at home --- yes , despite the protests . he's already had a mind for a few pillows , what was a freezer to keep a little drink and food ? even a small one , enough to keep leftovers or frozen breads and maybe something sweet or two .
' but --- you can worry about that later . ' as for the rest , his lip tugs again . it's a nigh-immediate , near-exhausted answer in his thoughts : steal for over hundreds and hundreds of years , and you inevitably built up a little repute .
nothing that someone like sakura would have known , much less even cared for ; so he had imagined , so he seems to be proven incorrect , if only by the latter . even then , his eyes only narrow and shine with some sort of secret humor that he doesn't share with the other : ' who knows , right ? why don't you watch for yourself , some day ? after all , i take it you've still never seen one of the great dark mousy's heists . '
âAnd where do you think I could be keeping anything you get me to cook, dumbass?â
Heâs so focused on that conundrum that he cant even bring attention to anything else. In his defense, this isnât even to mention the question of where theyâd put anything left overâthereâs no fridge here, no icebox, not even a damn communal one. Unless Dark just goes out to buy shit every time he wants something (and why is he even entertaining the dumb idea!?), theyâre gonna be shit outta luck.
âAnd donât say youâll get me somethinâ for that, either,â he adds on quick, though, because a momentary fear makes the hair on the back of his neck stand on end; âthereâs no room to put anything.â
And let it be known: He really doesnât wanna grace his threats with responses. Itâs hard as shit keeping the little kleptoâs secret as it is (why he agreed is beyond him), but if word gets out about a thief in the night here in town, Bofurinâll rip the place apart looking for him. Itâs just as much about saving his own skin as it is Darkâs, sure, but he justâhe doesnât want anyone going through that trouble.
Also, his egg is done, so not a damn thing matters anymore.
âHowâd you even get famous enough to keep cards?â Heâs asking with no animosity because of the egg, though, Dark better know that. âAnd famous enough for people to recognizeâem?â

can you talk about moss poaching i'm actually really curious
How can I refuse! Absolutely!!! It sounds kind of ridiculous, but it's actually very sad.
So, let's start off with some numbers. Every year, the moss black market is estimated to garner up to $165 million for trafficking approximately 82 million pounds of moss.
I cannot even wrap my mind around how much moss that is.
You might ask, why does moss poaching exist and why is it so lucrative? Well, the quality that has made mosses the prey of an illegal trade is simply their aesthetic appeal. Soft, velvety, and moist, mosses are extremely pleasant to the touch and calming to look at. Some people are willing to pay large amounts of money to collect them and put them in private gardens. However, most of the mosses that move in this underground black market are actually sold to companies/wholesalers for use in potting/gardening soil, plant nurseries, decor, and as craft materials. The majority of the preserved mosses in your run-of-the-mill chain craft store, planters, floral wreaths, or very-much-dead living wall decorations are gathered illegally, bleached to death, and then dyed green. This goes for a lot of prepackaged peat moss and soil mix blends as well.
Even though it is illegal to gather moss in public places (in the US, at least), people still harvest it. Why? Probably because there's a fair amount of money to be made and the consequences are very rarely enforced, and when they are, they are quite light--usually a $50 fine at worst if you're caught. Most of this black market moss is actually poached from the national park system, with Appalachia and the Pacific Northwest usually being the hardest hit regions.
Mosses play vital roles in many ecosystems, provide homes for threatened species, regulate water distribution in forests, and help with erosion, so their loss is a terrible blow. Additionally, moving such large quantities of mosses from one location to another may spread unwanted, invasive hitchhikers, like insects that lay their eggs in the plants, or even seeds and spores.
I'll end on this thought:
It can take 20 years for a small patch of moss removed from a fallen tree to grow back with the right moisture conditions.
How long would it take to regrow 82 million pounds?

Things the Biden-Harris Administration Did This Week #28
July 19-26 2024
The EPA announced the award of $4.3 billion in Climate Pollution Reduction Grants. The grants support community-driven solutions to fight climate change, and accelerate Americaâs clean energy transition. The grants will go to 25 projects across 30 states, and one tribal community. When combined the projects will reduce greenhouse gas pollution by as much as 971 million metric tons of CO2, roughly the output of 5 million American homes over 25 years. Major projects include $396 million for Pennsylvaniaâs Department of Environmental Protection as it tries to curb greenhouse gas emissions from industrial production, and $500 million for transportation and freight decarbonization at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
The Biden-Harris Administration announced a plan to phase out the federal government's use of single use plastics. The plan calls for the federal government to stop using single use plastics in food service operations, events, and packaging by 2027, and from all federal operations by 2035. The US government is the single largest employer in the country and the worldâs largest purchaser of goods and services. Its move away from plastics will redefine the global market.
The White House hosted a summit on super pollutants with the goals of better measuring them and dramatically reducing them. Roughly half of today's climate change is caused by so called super pollutants, methane, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and nitrous oxide (N2O). Public-private partnerships between NOAA and United Airlines, The State Department and NASA, and the non-profit Carbon Mapper Coalition will all help collect important data on these pollutants. While private firms announced with the White House plans that by early next year will reduce overall U.S. industrial emissions of nitrous oxide by over 50% from 2020 numbers. The summit also highlighted the EPA's new rule to reduce methane from oil and gas by 80%.
The EPA announced $325 million in grants for climate justice. The Community Change Grants Program, powered by President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act will ultimately bring $2 billion dollars to disadvantaged communities and help them combat climate change. Some of the projects funded in this first round of grant were: $20 million for Midwest Tribal Energy Resources Association, which will help weatherize and energy efficiency upgrade homes for 35 tribes in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, $14 million to install onsite wastewater treatment systems throughout 17 Black Belt counties in Alabama, and $14 million to urban forestry, expanding tree canopy in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
The Department of Interior approved 3 new solar projects on public land. The 3 projects, two in Nevada and one in Arizona, once finished could generate enough to power 2 million homes. This comes on top of DoI already having beaten its goal of 25 gigawatts of clean energy projects by the end of 2025, in April 2024. This is all part of President Bidenâs goal of creating a carbon pollution-free power sector by 2035.Â
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen pledged $667 million to global Pandemic Fund. The fund set up in 2022 seeks to support Pandemic prevention, and readiness in low income nations who can't do it on their own. At the G20 meeting Yellen pushed other nations of the 20 largest economies to double their pledges to the $2 billion dollar fund. Yellen highlighted the importance of the fund by saying "President Biden and I believe that a fully-resourced Pandemic Fund will enable us to better prevent, prepare for, and respond to pandemics â protecting Americans and people around the world from the devastating human and economic costs of infectious disease threats,"
The Departments of the Interior and Commerce today announced a $240 million investment in tribal fisheries in the Pacific Northwest. This is in line with an Executive Order President Biden signed in 2023 during the White House Tribal Nations Summit to mpower Tribal sovereignty and self-determination. An initial $54 million for hatchery maintenance and modernization will be made available for 27 tribes in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. The rest will be invested in longer term fishery projects in the coming years.
The IRS announced that thanks to funding from President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, it'll be able to digitize much of its operations. This means tax payers will be able to retrieve all their tax related information from one source, including Wage & Income, Account, Record of Account, and Return transcripts, using on-line Individual Online Account.
The IRS also announced that New Jersey will be joining the direct file program in 2025. The direct file program ran as a pilot in 12 states in 2024, allowing tax-payers in those states to file simple tax returns using a free online filing tool directly with the IRS. In 2024 140,000 Americans were able to file this way, they collectively saved $5.6 million in tax preparation fees, claiming $90 million in returns. The average American spends $270 and 13 hours filing their taxes. More than a million people in New Jersey alone will qualify for direct file next year. Oregon opted to join last month. Republicans in Congress lead by Congressmen Adrian Smith of Nebraska and Chuck Edwards of North Carolina have put forward legislation to do away with direct file.
Bonus: American law enforcement arrested co-founder of the Sinaloa Cartel, Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada. El Mayo co-founded the cartel in the 1980s along side JoaquĂn "El Chapo" GuzmĂĄn. Since El Chapo's incarceration in the United States in 2019, El Mayo has been sole head of the Sinaloa Cartel. Authorities also arrested El Chapo's son, Joaquin Guzman Lopez. The Sinaloa Cartel has been a major player in the cross border drug trade, and has often used extreme violence to further their aims.

Six Answers to Questions Youâre Too Embarrassed to Ask about the Hottest Year on Record
You may have seen the news that 2023 was the hottest year in NASAâs record, continuing a trend of warming global temperatures. But have you ever wondered what in the world that actually means and how we know?
We talked to some of our climate scientists to get clarity on what a temperature record is, what happened in 2023, and what we can expect to happen in the future⊠so you donât have to!
1. Why was 2023 the warmest year on record?
The short answer: Human activities. The release of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere trap more heat near Earthâs surface, raising global temperatures. This is responsible for the decades-long warming trend weâre living through.
But this yearâs record wasnât just because of human activities. The last few years, weâve been experiencing the cooler phase of a natural pattern of Pacific Ocean temperatures called the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO). This phase, known as La Niña, tends to cool temperatures slightly around the world. In mid-2023, we started to shift into the warmer phase, known as El Niño. The shift ENSO brought, combined with overall human-driven warming and other factors weâre continuing to study, pushed 2023 to a new record high temperature.
2. So will every year be a record now?
Almost certainly not. Although the overall trend in annual temperatures is warmer, thereâs some year-to-year variation, like ENSO we mentioned above.
Think about Texas and Minnesota. On the whole, Texas is warmer than Minnesota. But some days, stormy weather could bring cooler temperatures to Texas while Minnesota is suffering through a local heat wave. On those days, the weather in Minnesota could be warmer than the weather in Texas. That doesnât mean Minnesota is warmer than Texas overall; weâre just experiencing a little short-term variation.
Something similar happens with global annual temperatures. The globe will naturally shift back to La Niña in the next few years, bringing a slight cooling effect. Because of human carbon emissions, current La Niña years will be warmer than La Niña years were in the past, but theyâll likely still be cooler than current El Niño years.
3. What do we mean by âon recordâ?
Technically, NASAâs global temperature record starts in 1880. NASA didnât exist back then, but temperature data were being collected by sailing ships, weather stations, and scientists in enough places around the world to reconstruct a global average temperature. We use those data and our modern techniques to calculate the average.
We start in 1880, because thatâs when thermometers and other instruments became technologically advanced and widespread enough to reliably measure and calculate a global average. Today, we make those calculations based on millions of measurements taken from weather stations and Antarctic research stations on land, and ships and ocean buoys at sea. So, we can confidently say 2023 is the warmest year in the last century and a half.
However, we actually have a really good idea of what global climate looked like for tens of thousands of years before 1880, relying on other, indirect ways of measuring temperature. We can look at tree rings or cores drilled from ice sheets to reconstruct Earthâs more ancient climate. These measurements affirm that current warming on Earth is happening at an unprecedented speed.
4. Why does a space agency keep a record of Earthâs temperature?
Itâs literally our job! When NASA was formed in 1958, our original charter called for âthe expansion of human knowledge of phenomena in the atmosphere and space.â Our very first space missions uncovered surprises about Earth, and weâve been using the vantage point of space to study our home planet ever since. Right now, we have a fleet of more than 20 spacecraft monitoring Earth and its systems.
Why we created our specific surface temperature record â known as GISTEMP â actually starts about 25 million miles away on the planet Venus. In the 1960s and 70s, researchers discovered that a thick atmosphere of clouds and carbon dioxide was responsible for Venusâ scorchingly hot temperatures.
Dr. James Hansen was a scientist at the Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, studying Venus. He realized that the greenhouse effect cooking Venusâ surface could happen on Earth, too, especially as human activities were pumping carbon dioxide into our atmosphere.
He started creating computer models to see what would happen to Earthâs climate as more carbon dioxide entered the atmosphere. As he did, he needed a way to check his models â a record of temperatures at Earthâs surface over time, to see if the planet was indeed warming along with increased atmospheric carbon. It was, and is, and NASAâs temperature record was born.
5. If last year was record hot, why wasnât it very hot where I live?
The temperature record is a global average, so not everywhere on Earth experienced record heat. Local differences in weather patterns can influence individual locations to be hotter or colder than the globe overall, but when we average it out, 2023 was the hottest year.
Just because you didnât feel record heat this year, doesnât mean you didnât experience the effects of a warming climate. 2023 saw a busy Atlantic hurricane season, low Arctic sea ice, raging wildfires in Canada, heat waves in the U.S. and Australia, and more.
And these effects donât stay in one place. For example, unusually hot and intense fires in Canada sent smoke swirling across the entire North American continent, triggering some of the worst air quality in decades in many American cities. Melting ice at Earthâs poles drives rising sea levels on coasts thousands of miles away.
6. Speaking of which, why is the Arctic â one of the coldest places on Earth â red on this temperature map?
Our global temperature record doesnât actually track absolute temperatures. Instead, we track temperature anomalies, which are basically just deviations from the norm. Our baseline is an average of the temperatures from 1951-1980, and we compare how much Earthâs temperature has changed since then.Â
Why focus on anomalies, rather than absolutes? Letâs say you want to track if apples these days are generally larger, smaller, or the same size as they were 20 years ago. In other words, you want to track the change over time.
Apples grown in Florida are generally larger than apples grown in Alaska. Like, in real life, how Floridian temperatures are generally much higher than Alaskan temperatures. So how do you track the change in apple sizes from apples grown all over the world while still accounting for their different baseline weights?Â
By focusing on the difference within each area rather than the absolute weights. So in our map, the Arctic isnât red because itâs hotter than Bermuda. Itâs red because itâs gotten relatively much warmer than Bermuda has in the same time frame.

Itâs a bird! Itâs a plane! Itâs⊠a dinosaur? Nope to all of the above. This Fossil Friday, letâs talk about pterosaursâthe first animals with bones to evolve powered flight. Though they were related to dinosaurs, pterosaurs evolved on a separate branch of the reptile family tree. They ruled the skies for more than 150 million years, evolving into dozens of different species. Some were as small as a paper airplane while others, like Pteranodon pictured here in the Museum's Hall of Late Dinosaurs circa 1940-1960, had a wingspan of more than 20 ft (6 m).
Along with other large pterosaurs, Pteranodon longiceps was first discovered in western Kansas, near a chalk formation called Monument Rocks. Today the region is dry, but at the time this species lived, about 85 million years ago, central North America was covered by a seaway. This large pterosaur likely spent its days flying over the sea. Unlike early species of pterosaurs, Pteranodon and many other Cretaceous-era species didnât have any teeth. In fact, its genus name means âwinged and toothless,â while the second name, longiceps, means âlong-headed.â
Today, you can find Pteranodon in the Hall of Vertebrate Origins. We're open daily from 10 am-5:30 pm! Plan your visit.

The Hypocrisy of the 'Palestinian' cause
If Israel says it is the only country in the MENA region which accepts the LGBT community and has laws favouring them - It's pinkwashing
If Israel plants trees and protects its environment - it's greenwashing
If Israel provides water to Jordan and makes breakthroughs in water technology - it's trying to deprive the MENA of water
When Israel was re-established - it was a European colony
When Israel points out that 50% of its population is Mizrachi, and over 20% Arab - the Mizrachi population are just 'Arab' converts (something you should NEVER call a Mizrachi Jew)
When Israel revives its ancient language - It's a fake language only made in the 1900s
When Israel has thousands of years proving it's history - it's revisionist history
When Israel says that its language is over 4000 years old - It's fake and Yiddish is the true indigenous language of the Jewish people (it's not)
When Israel has over 2 million Arab Israelis living in their land - They're being oppressed in an apartheid state
When Israel brings sick palestinian children into Israel to treat them - Israel is trying to harvest their organs
When Israel lets palestinians work in Israel - They're being brought in as slaves
When Zionism is mentioned - it's labelled as a vicious and disgusting ultra-ethnonationalist ideology. But when 'palestinian nationalism' is mentioned - it's a righteous and moral cause
When Palestinians rape and kill innocent Men, women and children - They're breaking out of a 'prison'
When Palestinians reject several two state solution plans - it's because they 'weren't fair'
When people are being viciously antisemitic - the Jews Zionists are just crying antisemitism and playing the Victim
When people call for the preservation of the worlds only Jewish state - They support genocide
When Israel invades Gaza to retrieve it's citizens who have been taken hostage and defeat a terrorist group - it's a genocide
There are so many more examples of blatant lies from this joke of a cause.

In just one month, approximately 462 hectares (4.6 million mÂČ) of woodland, "notably pines and oaks, as well as around 20 hectares of centuries-old olive groves," have been destroyed by Israeli airstrikes, said Georges Mitri, Director of the Land and Natural Resources Programme at Balamand University. Since the escalation of tensions between Hezbollah and the Israeli army on Oct. 8, the latter has used white phosphorus to set fire to forests and fields in border areas. The 1980 Geneva Convention, which Israel has not signed, prohibits the use of white phosphorous on civilians and in civilian areas due to its devastating effects on humans, animals and the environment.
[...]
Amid the ongoing economic crisis, the attacks targeting olive groves ahead of harvest season have a major negative impact on the local economy in the area. "Traditionally, people gather around the olive trees, harvest their crops, press their oil together... A big part of their lives is being lost," lamented Younes. âThe olive trees being burned are centuries old," he pointed out. âIf we were to replant them today, how long would it be before these fields became productive?â Giving an estimate of the economic losses attributed to the daily fires in the South, Mitri put the figure at nearly 20 million dollars. In the long term, Younes is particularly concerned about the environmental impact of the phosphorus bombs. "We have no choice but to wait until the end of hostilities before assessing the situation on the ground," he said. In Younesâ view, the greater the rate of absorption of phosphorus into the soil and water, the greater the risk of dramatic long-term consequences on Lebanonâs environment.
I'll add here that southern Lebanon has never fully recovered from 2006. There are still unexploded cluster bombs in the ground, killing and maiming people. There is still chemical contamination. The economic impact on agriculture has never been fully recouped. The cancer rates are still elevated and unaddressed. The labor structure and which crops are grown changed after 2006 and have never reverted. I remember weeping watching the bombing of Gaza in 2021 as I was in the middle of writing a paper about the long term legacies of the July War in Lebanon, with these additional long-term violences of the bombing at the forefront of my mind along with the immediate deaths and tragedies. This is a horrifying compounding of an existing injury, at a time when Lebanon is in economic free fall and (as the article also explains) in the middle of fire season, and with firefighters unable to do much because the area is. being bombed.

The salty sea is unfamiliar to your tongue. The waves that wash over you kiss your lips with every swell. The ocean breathes in shallow breaths that turn the tide. Youâre swallowed under a sudden wave when you finally decide to open your eyes.Â
Your cheek is pressed up against a cool surface. You reach out to run your fingers through the soft sand; digging your hand in deeper to ground yourself. Dehydration has left you dizzy. You lick your lips to get rid of dryness; spitting out the bits of sand that stick to your tongue.
You turn on your back to gauge your surroundings. A bright light blinds you and you bring up your hand to shield your eyes. The warm rays slip past your fingertips. You drop your arm back down once your eyes begin to settle in the sunlight. The void is filled with a bright blue. Millions of miles of nothing but the sapphire shade. The sea and sky battle against each other, two shades morphing into one. No ships sailing, no birds fluttering, youâre entirely alone in this vast expanse of nothingness.
You turn to the side, pieces of your past shipwreck are spread out across the shore. You reach out to touch the destruction. Discarded and decaying, all symbols of safety are ruined. Your breath begins to grow heavy. This realization rests like a 20 pound weight on your chest. You sit up slightly, leaning back on your elbows. Whipping your head around you, you can see that the beach goes on for miles. It stretches out across the horizon and wraps around the curves of the island. Sand, trees, and wreckage are all that you can see.Â
You stand up fast, fighting off the feeling of lightheadedness. You swallow down the sandpaper sensation in your throat.Â
âHello!â Your voice tears into your throat. âIs anyone there?! Hello!â Your brittle voice breaks down against its misuse, but you continue screaming into the silence. While you shout at the seashore, you begin to search the beach for any stragglers from the wreck. Desperate eyes scour the empty shore as your cries are carried out to sea.Â
You continue to search for what feels like hours until hope holds out its hand and shows you what seems to be⊠footprints?Â
Small markings are dug into the sand and you sprint ahead to take a look. The tracks start in the sand and stretch out into the treeline. You walk alongside them, matching each step with your own. The footprints draw you further into the unknown forest. The woods welcome you. Shifting and reshaping its terrain to form a faint path. It pulls you in before you can think twice.Â
Too naive to understand and too distraught to care, you turn a blind eye to your surroundings. Unbeknownst to you, magic flows through the forest. Running like roots through the entire island. Itâs intertwined with the trees, dispersed in the air, and familiar to any lifeform that calls this island home.Â
While you may not understand what is still unknown, you can feel a power that pulses in the air. An aura that you canât quite put a name to, but can recognize its strength and ecstasy. It makes a faint humming noise that rings in your ears and hovers with every step you take. Itâs not a nuisance like one would assume, rather a relaxant that washes away your worries.Â
This feeling feels familiar, as is everything else that meets your eye. Nothing has any resemblance to reality. Everything is warped into a perfect, pink, picture. In your hazy recollection, it reminds you of a drifting dream. The place where sorrow and anger are absent. Itâs a childâs paradise filled with fairies, mermaids, monsters, and all things interesting. A sacred sanctuary reserved for the fallen youth. Yet, itâs a wonder how you wound up here. An island lost at sea, never mapped and only known to those who spend their lives searching for it. Perhaps, the devil needed a shiny new thing to toy with. And who is he to resist a sweet thing so pure.Â
Youâve followed your fantasies to temptation. Lured out by someone elseâs lucky streak. The gates left unguarded to a new and interesting enigma. But when what you believe to be a dream starts morphing into a realm of reality, why would you want to leave? Even when you realize that the roots run red with dark desires and a sinful touch, would you even be able to escape?
A rustling in the bushes causes you to look up from your feet. You gain a feeling of unease and stop to hold your breath. The trees seem to taunt you, dropping leaves on your head that make you jump out of your skin. The bushes shake with laughter and the birds twitter teasing remarks.Â
You can feel yourself growing closer. A certain presence plays hide-and-seek in the shadows. A storm swims in your stomach, the tides turning and making you feel almost powerless; like prey being toyed with before the predator pounces. The sinking sensation drags you down, your feet feeling like lead and knees threatening to give in. But you push through the fear, determined to find a solution to this mess.
You follow the footsteps further into the forest. Twisting and turning leaving you dizzy with dread. The tracks even appear to do laps and loops around you. Have you gotten lost already? You stop to settle your doubt for only a second before continuing on the crooked path. You remain running, just trying to hold on to your sanity while the sun begins to set. Darkness is falling fast and you'd like to find some sort of shelter before the sky submits to the black abyss.
As the minutes morph into miles, the footprints seem to appear fainter. Almost as if the culprit is floating with softer steps. The footprints then stop completely in the middle of nowhere. Two prints pressed into the dirt drop off into thin air. Nobody stands before you, no noises are heard, youâre surrounded by nothing at all. You lean down to give the prints a closer look and-
âBOO!â A sudden shout sends you to the ground. A shocked scream leaves your lips as you turn around in terror. You look up from your spot, sprawled out on the forest floor to see what seems to be⊠a boy? His silhouette blocks the sun, hiding his face under a dark overcast. He peers down into your eyes. Youâre only able to make out the smug smile that settles itself in the shadows. He gives a soft laugh before asking, âI scared you didnât I?â Thereâs a playful tone to his words and while he stares down at you with a smile on his lips and a shine in his eyes, you sit in shock. All coherent words have run away from your mind, leaving you stranded in silence with a stranger.
The boy kneels down in front of you, holding himself up with his hands. Curiosity catches his heart and he moves to poke and prod at the pretty little thing that has fallen at his feet. He brings one hand up to start teasing at your hair. He toys with the loose locks and tugs at it when you attempt to back away.Â
âWho are you?â You ask with hesitancy. The boy only continues to pull at your hair, ignoring your question. âYou werenât from the shipwreck were you? I wouldâve remembered you.â The boy's attention seems to have been captured by your question.
âYou wouldâve remembered me? Do you really think Iâm that handsome?â He says with a smirk. His hand has stopped still in your hair, now fully focused on observing your reaction.
âNo, I just wouldâve remembered someone annoying like you.â Although his attractiveness does grab your attention, your sudden irritation at his behavior is much more prominent. Smacking his hand away from your hair, you stand up from your spot on the ground and heâs quick to follow. A faint frown falls on his face. âAre you from here then? Do you know how to help me?â He seems to stare right through your questions, amused by your actions instead of concerned. âDo you know how I can get off the island?â
âWhy would you want to leave? Have you looked around you?â He asks in confusion and stares at you like you're stupid.
You tilt your head from staring at him to look at the trees tinted pink. Blushing blossoms sprout from each branch while butterflies flutter around you. The sliver of sunshine that snakes through the treetops shines down on the forest floor. The light reflects off every shiny surface, producing glitter in the air.Â
The boy drags you out of your heavenly haze once he takes two steps closer. He leans forward the slightest bit to be on eye level.Â
âIâll answer your questions if you answer mine.â His question comes off more demanding than you expected, leaving no room for disagreement. You nod your head to agree and he begins his interrogation. âYou said you were in a shipwreck, what exactly do you mean?â
You spill your secrets into the silence. âIâd been traveling by ship for about a week before a storm hit, and well⊠we went under.â Your voice begins to break off. A shiver crawling down your spine at the recollection of the horrific incident. Water lines your weary eyes, but you blink back your tears before you can get caught up in your emotions. You rub at your eyes rather roughly, ignoring the boyâs intensive staring as you ask your question again. âThere has to be some way to leave the island. Are there any boats? Any other survivors?âÂ
âThere might be.â He stares straight into your skull. Almost as if heâs trying to search your thoughts with x-ray vision. Your agitation only seems to grow at his unclear answers.Â
âWell, where are they? Can you take me to them?â Your voice grows frantic, clinging onto the frail piece of hope that there might be help for you.Â
âWhat if I donât want to tell you?â The strange boy seems to gain a sick sense of enjoyment watching you struggle. Your anger rises into your cheeks and a cherry blossom blush bleeds into your face. The boy has to hold back another taunt at the tip of his tongue.Â
âWhat? Why not?!âÂ
âWhy not? You ask too many questions, itâs starting to get on my nerves.â The boy rolls his eyes in irritation. He takes a step closer and you stare up at him through a shocked expression. Before you can yell out your annoyance and anger at his lack of sympathy, he shuts you up with some interesting information.
âAnd it doesnât matter anyways, even if I wanted to help you, I wouldnât be able to.âÂ
You ask your next question already dreading the answer, âAnd whyâs that.â
âBecause no one ever leaves.â He shrugs at the answer as if itâs a simple thing to say. As if he hasnât broken any inkling of hope you still held dear to your heart. Your heartstrings snap apart and leave a searing pain that lingers. You gaze at the stranger in disbelief, unable to accept his confession. Itâs only then that you realize youâve started to cry when he reaches out to touch the teardrops. He pokes at the pink that lines your under eye, a pout of clumsy curiosity pulls at his lips.Â
Beomgyu doesnât understand how he hurt you, he just knows that he did. Teardrops and falling frowns are not something heâs familiar with, heâs only ever seen them in a manâs last moments. Which is why he canât comprehend how such simple words can cut you clean. Your heart is like a fragile flower, the blossoming bud burrows deep inside your left breast. But everytime a tear rolls off your cheek, a petal drops dead.Â
Heâs never had to think twice about his actions. Always being so bold and brazen with his friends that just found him to be funny. But as your strange soul stands in front of him, a sliver of doubt festers under his skin. He tries to retract his answer, hoping that this time the tears will stop.Â
âMaybe there might be a way for you to leave.â His mouth is moving before he can stop himself. Why is his heart reacting this way? He doesnât want you to leave⊠but he doesnât want to upset you anymore.
In an instant, that shining sliver of hope blooms back in your heart. âReally? How?â You wipe away your remaining tears. Looking down at the ground instead of his eyes, you try to hide your easy emotions.Â
He hesitates for a moment, unsure if he should lie or tell the truth. Heâs selfish and wants you all to himself, but that doesnât mean heâs stupid. The others would find out about you eventually and heâd just get into more trouble in the long run. One last look into your tear-struck eyes has him making up his mind. âOne of my brothers knows a lot more about the island than I do, so Iâd have to take you to him.â
âThen letâs go!â You start walking off into the forest. You donât know where youâre going but youâre eager to reach a resolution as soon as possible.Â
âYouâre impatient arenât you? And I hope you know that I canât promise heâll agree to let you leave.â Beomgyu scurries on after you, matching your fast pace and walking side by side. His eyes never drift far from your face. They always linger, looking at how unhidden your emotions are. He takes in the way your eyebrows are cinched in irritation, your eyes open wide with hope & hurt, and your lips that fall into a frown at his words.Â
âWhy not?â You stop walking and turn to look at him. â Look, I promise I donât want to cause any trouble. But whether you like it or not, Iâm stuck here. I bet you that I want to leave this place more than you wish I was gone, but I need help in order to do that.â Desperation is laced deep into your voice. It borders on begging and for some reason Beomgyu finds himself slightly disturbed by your distress. Your serious tone makes him squirm and an uncomfortable sensation swims in his stomach.Â
âYou didnât have to take it so seriously,â He lets out a light laugh, trying to take down some of the tension. âIâm just saying that heâll probably want to make sure you arenât dangerous is all. Which I bet you arenât, I could never imagine someone like you being a pirate.â As if heâs trying to rub salt in the wound, he pokes at your chubby cheeks. Trying to get the message across that you couldnât be less intimidating if you tried.
You shy away from the boy, turning your head to the side to get rid of his touch. Youâre beginning to grow tired of his annoying advances. Immature and uncaring are all you see him as. Really, heâs just a boy. Heâs about your age but itâs clear heâs been sheltered from the cruel chaos of the world. Hidden away to live an easy life on this island. But then again, perhaps youâre speaking too soon.
The snap of a twig brings you both out of the silence. Your heads shoot up in the direction of the noise. Only when youâve been given the chance to look do you realize how fast night has fallen. The shadows swallow you whole. A cloak of darkness covers the sky, drowning out the ashes of the sun. The trees are tangled into one another, twisting and intertwining to create a confusing thicket. The black branches hold hands to ensure that you can not escape.
In a sudden flash of fear, you turn to Beomgyu for a solution. But the once bold boy now appears much more bashful than before. What were once witty comments and playful remarks have been transformed into a stolen silence. Itâs so unlike Beomgyu to be without words, but suddenly, he finds himself fearful of what hides behind the trees. After all, when heâs alone with his own emotions, heâs just all bark and no bite.
You take a step back from the bushes, your hand brushing against Beomgyuâs as you come closer. He seems to have the same idea as he follows your footsteps. Further away from the sudden sound and farther into the forest.Â
âWhat was that?â You whisper.Â
âI donât know.â He states simply.
You turn to look at him with a glare, âArenât you the one that lives on the island? Shouldnât you know what animals come out after dark.â Your anger is quick to rise again. You really couldnât be more unlucky, getting shipwrecked and stuck with the one boy thatâs incapable of helping you.Â
Beomgyu doesnât respond, instead he stares at the eyes in the dark. The irises are opposites, one shines like a star, filled with intrigue. While the other burns with an angry intensity, fueled by malice. The glowing eyes grow bigger as the creature comes closer. Silent footsteps travel fast and just before it jumps out of the bushes, you and Beomgyu break into a sprint.
You both run from the creature that crawls at night. Itâs an imaginary monster that only exists in this eternal paradise: A Beast bound in blood from its last meal. An animal that runs rampant, blind with a burning rage. A corpse that decays in the dark, a poor past soul who didnât survive.Â
These terrible thoughts run awry in your head. Torturing you with images of mangled monsters and other unknown that hunt at twilight. Tears of terror threaten to fall from your eyes, but you blink them back before Beomgyu can notice.Â
The smell of smoke burns through your throat. Taking in lungfuls has you coughing and struggling to catch your breath. Rotten rage is running right behind you. It grows closer, and closer, until all you can think about is the consequences of getting caught.Â
A tug to your wrist trips you up and tears you from your thoughts. Beomgyu pulls you up to run side by side. He holds your hand like you might leave him if he lets go.
âAre all humans this slow?â He speaks with exasperation. The subtle slip of unknown information leaves his lips before he can think twice.
âIâm going as fast as I can!â Your outburst of anger and panic is yelled at the top of your lungs. Your legs begin to burn, screaming at you to stop, but this chase will not stop until one of you has won. Either you outsmart the beast by hiding away, or die by being devoured. That thought is more than enough to keep you going.Â
Occasionally, Beomgyu steals a quick glance to his side. He can see the tears slipping past your fearless facade. Too embarrassed to admit youâre terrified to the arrogant boy and his relentless insults. Your hand is clasped tight in his. Beomgyu sees how you tremble and watches the tears that fall. A growing bit of guilt begins to settle in his stomach. He had been such a fool. Taking his time to toy with you when he knew nighttime was near. Although Beomgyu shares everything between his brothers, heâs not eager to share your sweet affections. He found you first so he believes he has some sort of entitlement over you. A pretty little plaything that is his to have. Beomgyu has always been reckless when it comes to expressing his emotions. The selfish sin makes him act stupid, and his fatal flaw might be the death of you.Â
As you run, fear follows after you. Itâs hot on your heels and threatens to tear you apart. The beast is just behind you. You can feel its breath on the back of your neck. Your speed is no match for the monster. Beomgyu must be thinking the same thing, because he sweeps you away to somewhere safe.Â
His hands wrap around your hips roughly. No reason to be gentle in this time of distress. Youâre shoved to the ground and dragged to a hidden hole in the dirt. Tree roots tangle around both your bodies. They provide protection and safety while the animal continues its hunt from up above. You can hear it sniffing at the surface, searching for where their fallen food ran off to. At the sound of it growing near, you cling closer to one another. Beomgyu pushes himself flush to the tree trunk behind him while pulling you closer to his chest. His heartbeat is erratic. Blood flowing like fear right through him. You can feel the rapid rhythm beating against your back. Â
His breathing is barely there. Too scared to suck in a single breath. Youâre the exact opposite. Chest raising high with each heavy inhale. Youâre beginning to hyperventilate. With your heart clenched tight in terror youâve begun to lose your mind to emotion. A hand slowly slides over your mouth and for a second you freeze in fear. But itâs just Beomgyu trying to quiet your quick breathing. You turn to look at him. Your vision is blurred by the tears in your eyes but you can still make out the emotion on his face.
Beomgyu tries to hide his fear, he really does, but it slices at his skin until his heart begins to bleed out. His eyes sting with salty tears, they gather at his waterline and threaten to fall down his cherry cheeks. Heâs an imitation of you, stuffing away the sadness and trying to hide his emotions. For the first time in a long time, a little bit of fear festers deep in his heart. He never meant to wander so far away from the others, but he got distracted by such a pretty little thing. He was so selfish, trying to steal you away before the others could find you, and now you both sit in an agonizing silence. Inches away from the Reaperâs wrath.Â
Truthfully, you donât have any idea as to what type of animal is chasing you. You just know that itâs a bloodthirsty brute thatâs hunting you down to hollow you out and eat your insides.Â
Fear is festering in your mind. Your imagination makes up memories of your worst fears. Putting together the pieces to create a bloodcurdling creature. You imagine the unknown monster to have fangs pierced with flesh and rotting red remains. It has bones that are broken free from its ribcage, resulting in the rattling sound it makes with every inhale. Each breath it takes feels closer than the last. They ring in your ears and you swear you can feel it breathing right over your shoulder.Â
Ruthless rage is torn from its throat as it lets out a growl in anguish; disappointed it let its prey fall too far. You can hear the sound of its claws digging into the wood just above your head. After its fit of anger, the monster runs off in what you can assume is a search for more meat. You can see its tail end as it trails off deeper into the dark forest. It has a fluffy tail that flicks in irritation. A slight hint as to what monster lurks on this lonely island. The only monster to ever make Beomgyu truly afraid.Â
Youâre both too scared to make a move at first. You sit still and listen as the monster runs farther and farther off into the forest. After a few minutes, the only sound you can hear is the whistling wind and your heavy breathing.Â
But you both manage to bite down your fear and stand up from the dirt. Your head whips around to look at your surroundings, still paranoid that the monster may be somewhere near. With hands still held between you, Beomgyu leads you both down a path in the forest. The trail looks run down, years of footsteps trampling the flowers and grass that grows. You two take your time. You let your legs rest and catch your breath by walking slow. Your heartbeat is now in harmony with the rest of your body, no longer racing with adrenaline.Â
Each slow step you take feels heavier than the last. Fatigue is finally catching up to you. The amount of physical and emotional whiplash youâve experienced today has deeply drained you. Youâre too tired to talk or form a single thought, and slowly sleep begins to burden you. But before you can collapse and sleep through a thousand sunsets, a blinding light burns your eyes.Â
Four silhouettes stand in front of the sun. That sun being the little bit of light held in their hands. Torches are used to scare off the shadows and drive away the animosities. It also carves out the shadows of each boyâs features. Forever young and flawless faces are all that meets the eye. Their aura demands your attention and you wouldnât dare to look away.Â
Are these the boys Beomgyu had mentioned earlier? If they are, will they welcome you with open arms or turn their backs on the outcast. A wave of unease rolls around in your stomach as the shortest boy steps forward. His big eyes are hidden behind a glare. Your heart burns hot under the heat of his gaze. Chest stinging and speech stolen, you start to shrink in on yourself. The boy breaks through the crowd and closes the distance. Now that there is nothing between you and his icy eyes, you wish you had been killed by the beast.

In 2010, Pakistan had unprecedented flooding that not only disrupted the lives of 20 million people but also had a significant impact on the country's arachnid population.
Over a fifth of the country was submerged in the floods, and millions of spiders sought refuge from the rising floodwaters by climbing into trees. As the water lingered, these trees became encased in layers of spiderwebs.

"Rewilding in Scotland has created a more than 400% increase in jobs, research has found amid calls for it to continue.
Research by Rewilding Britain shows 35 jobs have been created at one site alone in the Highlands since 2008.
The research found there has been a 412% increase in jobs at 13 major rewilding projects covering almost 60,000 hectares, including sites owned or managed by charities, communities, private landowners, and public bodies.
Full-time equivalent jobs across the sites increased from 24 before rewilding to 123, across sectors including hospitality, estate management, ecology, environmental monitoring, rewilding interventions, recreation, and education.
The largest recorded rise in jobs was at Trees for Lifeâs 4,000-hectare Dundreggan estate near Loch Ness in the Highlands, a former deer stalking estate.
Since 2008, some 35 jobs have been created in addition to the sole previous position, while volunteer numbers have risen from zero to 100.
A rewilding centre was opened at the site last year and an open invitation has been extended to Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio to visit it after he backed a campaign for Scotland to become the worldâs first ârewilding nationâ.
All the sites are more than 100 hectares in size and are part of the Rewilding Network managed by Rewilding Britain.
The research found combined volunteer numbers at the sites increased from zero to 435...
The Scottish Government has been urged to commit to nature recovery across 30% of land by restoring habitats including peatlands, native woodlands, wetlands, rivers and seas, with no loss of productive farmland.
Kevin Cumming, rewilding director at Rewilding Britain and deputy convener of the Scottish Rewilding Alliance, said: âThese remarkable job creation figures show how rewilding can turbo-charge social and economic benefits, while offering hope for reversing biodiversity loss and tackling climate breakdown.
âThis is yet another powerful illustration of why the Scottish Government should declare Scotland a rewilding nation.
âThe opportunity is huge â for jobs and local economies, better health, food production, access to fresh water and clean air.â
The allianceâs Rewilding Nation Charter â including representations from more than 20 organisations â has been signed by thousands of people since it launched in the spring.
A Scottish Government spokesperson said: âRestoring Scotlandâs natural environment is a key way that we can help address the twin challenges of nature loss and climate change, including many of the interventions championed by the Scottish Rewilding Alliance.
âWe welcome this evidence of employment in rural communities and will consider this research as we continue to work towards our commitment to protect and restore 30% of Scotlandâs land and seas for nature.
âOur ÂŁ65 million Nature Restoration Fund has committed nearly ÂŁ40 million since 2021 to unlock the full potential that nature restoration projects can bring to communities.
âThe fund has supported local businesses, helped landowners with pollinator projects to boost food production and supported improved access to green spaces throughout Scotland, alongside restoration of our marine environment.â
