Matthew 6:34. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
2 Corinthians 12:9. “My Grace is sufficient for you.”
“There is no need to worry” (Matthew 6) By Darlene:
“Sometimes, it can be really hard not to worry about the future, especially in these uncertain times, but in Matthew 6:34 Jesus says to us “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” Why does Jesus say this? Because He gives us His Grace (his help, his strength, his wisdom) just at the time we need it, not before.
When we spend our time worrying about the future, it is like we are experiencing a future negative event over and over, when God hasn’t given us His Grace to go through it yet.
We may even be worrying about something that doesn’t even happen. So all that worry, stress and emotional pain has been for nothing. I’m sure many of you have heard the acronym for FEAR:
F FALSE
E EVIDENCE
A APPEARING
R REAL
God is faithful. He will always give us the Grace we need for any situation at just the right time, not before. Trust God today. Rest in His Grace today. His Grace will be there for you tomorrow.”

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. James 3:10-12 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of devils; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table and of the table of devils. 1 Corinthians 10:21 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17
Throughout the entire Bible we hear of the warnings and consequences of trying to be on the side of the world and the side of God. How come we so often mix our words with blessings and cursings? How can we claim to be of the light if we talk like those who are in darkness? As it is said in James can a fountain send forth sweet and bitter water at the same place or a fig tree bear olive berries? We have been told and the truth will set us free and here we have it. Let us put away all cursings and become a fountain of blessings.
Prayer
Father we thank you for your truth. We know how foolish and stubborn we can be and we thank you for your patience. You have warned us many times about being a partaker of both sides and we are deeply sorry for all the times we have not listened to you. We turn from cursings to blessings and ask to help us stay on your path. Thank you Father. Praise be thy name, Amen.

Living His Word
Remember this: The one who plants few seeds will have a small harvest. But the one who plants a lot will have a big harvest. Each one of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give. You should not give if it makes you unhappy or if you feel forced to give. God loves those who are happy to give. And God can give you more blessings than you need, and you will always have plenty of everything. You will have enough to give to every good work. — 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
The Christian church cannot sustain, maintain, and expand the Kingdom of Jesus Christ without the donations of its members and supporters. Unlike families, whose parents earn its sustenance; unlike businesses, which sell for a profit; and unlike nations, which tax its citizens; the church is dependent upon the good will of its members and supporters. This simple fact needs to be emphasized because there can be a lot of resentment about giving.
Perhaps the resentment that surrounds giving is the reason why God promises in our verses for today that those who support the efforts of the church will receive "more blessings than you need" and thus will have "plenty left over to share with others." It's hard to be a blessing when you're broke.
Furthermore, God promises here that there is proportionality at work in our giving. Like the farmer, if you plant a lot, you will have a big harvest. It could be said that God incentivizes support for the church. One does not have to fear for their financial wellbeing when giving.
As with most everything else in the Christian life, motivation and attitude are everything when it comes to giving. We shouldn't give if it makes us unhappy or if we feel forced to give. God doesn't just want our money; He wants our hearts as well.
The Prophet Malachi quotes God as saying that "Good things will come to you like rain falling from the sky" when we give (Malachi 3:10). Maybe today should be the day you find this out for yourself.

Yo. No one can take you from Gods hand or separate you from His love. We got life through Him. He loves you, and I do too. I hear Him saying “rest in my promises” because someone out there needed to hear that.

1 Corinthians 2:6-12
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.
10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Whose Report Do You Believe? (270) - November 2 2024
Choose your Podcast App to Play this episode Pastor Catrice speaks on this week’s topic about the heart of the Christian when finding themselves in a Wilderness. Moses sent out scouts to report back what they found in Canaan, the land which God had given His children. However, some of them brought back an evil report because they were afraid of what they saw and didn’t acknowledge the Lord and…

Unlimited Atonement
Unlimited atonement is the biblical teaching that Jesus died for everyone. Through His sacrificial death on the cross, Jesus bore the wrath of God by taking upon Himself the sins of all humanity and bearing the punishment that was due for our sins.
Unlimited atonement is the biblical teaching that Jesus died for everyone. Through His sacrificial death on the cross, Jesus bore the wrath of God by taking upon Himself the sins of all humanity and bearing the punishment that was due for our sins. His death on the cross paid the price for the sins of everyone. Jesus’ death for sins is the foundation for reconciliation with God because God judged…

Solomon Was Given a Mission, But the Temple Didn't Just Build Itself!
Solomon King of Israel, was given a mission, ordained and blessed by the God of the universe. Since you’ve also been given a mission, I thought it would be instructive to see what Solomon did with his! Any life hacks that Solomon’s story provides? Any ancient YouTube DIY videos we can follow? Here’s what Solomon had to say about it: “I intend, therefore, to build a temple for the Name of the…

ENEMY LOVE?
How are Christians to relate to an increasingly hostile and alien culture? Do we respond in kind, fighting for the values we hold dear, or does Christ call us to a better, more productive way?
How are Christians to relate to an increasingly hostile and alien culture? Just as I presented some historical context, let’s broaden our view a bit to gain some important Biblical context. Up above, we saw through the example of the Old Testament, that despite being God’s chosen people, there were times when Israel disobeyed and in turn suffered calamity and banishment under the just judgment…

Four Descriptors of the Man or Woman of God
I have two objectives with this post. To be biblical To not be overly complicated. What are the best descriptors of someone who walks with God? It would hard to do better than the description of Job given three times in the early chapters of the book of Job. Let’s try them on. “There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job;and that man was blameless, upright, fearing God and turning…

"LIVING IN TRIUMPHANT HOPE"
1 Peter 1:3-12, “Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [Born anew] into an inheritance which is beyond the reach of change and decay [imperishable], unsullied and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, Who are being guarded…

“For example, there was God’s promise to Abraham. Since there was no one greater to swear by, God took an oath in his own name, saying: “I will certainly bless you, and I will multiply your descendants beyond number.” Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised. Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding. God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.” —Hebrews 6:13â€-‬20 (NLT)

God's weapon against the flesh
God’s weapon against the flesh
Every day I struggle against my own flesh, my own mind, and my own will. Sometimes I lose against these things that are trying to force their way to the surface. Every time I lose a battle, I’m always reminded that God isn’t finished with me yet and that I’m forgiven. I’m not forgiven just for the sake of it, though, but because I have a repentant heart. sometimes my pride and ego stand in the…

When recognizing a mistake, don't you instinctively strive for improvement? Similarly, when life knocks someone down, don't they inherently seek to rise stronger than before?
Our inner light is the greatest source of guidance. Is it not fitting that celebrities are called stars, shining bright? When we close our eyes, darkness fades, revealing our own radiant potential. Didn't the dragon's tail sweep away a third of the stars and hurled them to earth, reminding us God's Word is our eternal illumination?

thinking about the body as a temple and as a constantly-transforming artwork made by god. thinking about the body as something that does not belong to the earth, or your parents, but to god.
do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? you are not your own; you were bought at a price. therefore honor God with your bodies.
corinthians 6:19-20
francis, go and repair my house, which, as you see, is in ruins.
the major legend of saint francis by st. bonaventure
do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
romans 12:2
if my temple, my body, is in ruins, because of my conforming to the world--my conforming to what others expect from me... then my renewal (my active, compassionate, new understanding of myself and my gender, that brings me closer to god's transformative vision), my act of transitioning, is a holy act.

"So the Lord has fulfilled His word which He spoke..." 2 Chronicles 6:10
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews. 13:8). God has not changed He still keeps His promises; they are as dependable as ever. When God speaks through His Word, you can be sure that what He says will come to pass. When He declares, "I will never leave you" (Heb. 13:5), "I will guide you" (Psalm. 32:8), "My grace is sufficient for you" (2 Corinthians 12:9), and "I shall supply all your need" (Philippians 4:19), He means it. He will never fail us. He will never go back on His word. Take your stand on God's promises. You will never be on a more solid footing. Trust Him. If God has said it, He will do it.
