So I’ve been seeing some discourse lately about Kaisagi’s age gap and I decided I want to see what the big deal is and calculate their exact age gap. Blue Lock is not good with dates but I sure as hell did my best!

So as of now it’s confirmed that Isagi is 17 and Kaiser is 19 with their birthdays being April 1st and December 25th, respectively. Isagi’s age at the beginning of Blue Lock is kind of confusing with the Egoist Bible stating that he’s 16, but Isagi directly contradicting that by mentioning during early arcs that he’s a year older than Rin, who is confirmed to be 16, and the same age as Loki, who is confirmed to be 17. There’s no way he could’ve turned 17 in that time period because the start of Blue Lock is November 20th (confirmed by official twitter) and his birthday is around 8 months prior. I’m going to go with his age being 17 at the start of Blue Lock because it’s directly stated in the manga and because the Egoist Bible has inconsistencies with other characters ages, well specifically Sae’s but I won’t get into that.

The start of NEL is also a little unclear, but there’s more to go off of. Ego mentions how there is 100 days until the U20 world cup, which should mean that the start of NEL is February 18th because the U20 World Cup in 2019 began on May 29th. However, the Egoist Bible 2.0 directly contradicts this and states that NEL started on March 10th. It doesn’t actually matter in this case because either way this means Kaiser has been 19 for around 2-3 months. Using basic math this means Isagi and Kaiser are 1 year, 3 months, and 7 days apart. I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves, but truly, their age gap is such a nonissue.

Pomefiore is probably??? somewhere around January as well?? Because I remember it was still snowing from the cutscene that Prefect has with Kalim abt his disappointment on not being a main singer. I’m betting on Late January at earliest. And Ignihyde takes place literally the night after Pomefiore 😭😭😭 This is also just guesswork based on how far up north the Sage’s Isle is, I assume the winters last longer there.

As for Diasomnia I got no clue at all 💔💔 all ik is that it should be getting warmer bcs of the reactions the characters have towards Malleus causing snow & winds to pick up… I used to think it was March but it probably isn’t 😭
