Shaker-style cabinetry throughout the house was custom-made. The superb storage wall in the master suite dressing room, with its ruddy natural cherrywood surface, stands out against walls and ceiling finished in Pratt & Lambert's 'Seed Pearl' paint. The colors of the nineteenth-century Bessarabian rug blend beautifully with the wood.
