I have more to say about the 1920s exorcists AU so here we gooooo:

The gist of the main arc is that demons are growing in power and audacity, and hailing the return of their King. New Castle Town and all its steel and glass architecture and motorways was built upon the ruins of Old Castle Town, same as most major cities and villages. However, in the exorcists investigation of this dark phenomenon, the Order discovers waves of power eminating sporatically from the depths of these catacombs.

They are especially strong during the hours of power, which is inconvenient on its own.

But the worst part is that at their strongest, they measure awfully like a heartbeat.

Hey everyone! A bit of a detour from my usual drawings as this is inspired by reading an AU fic titled, "Uncle Adam", written by AkumaKami64.

I've been getting invested in reading Hazbin Hotel fics, and this one particular AU fic has the premise of Adam and Charlie meeting for the first time on the 1920 Extermination Day, when the then 10-year-old (by Hellborn years) Charlie Morningstar tried to persuade Adam and his Exorcists to go home.

Read and see Adam and Heaven and Hell as much more nuanced, with Charlie and Emily experiencing a "coming-of-age story" from their respective sheltered upbringing and a much, much different setting and world of Vivienne Medrano's Hazbin Hotel.

oh hey it’s a 2kBi!teen not-resolutions list! things I want to do this year include:

continue writing a bit (even just a single word) every day (started in November, and it’s been working so why change it?)

continue regular writing-outside-the-house dates (currently Tues/Sun)

get stronger (work toward this goal counts)

this includes getting a new therapist

plus going to the gym with @lastkodachrome (starting at 1x/week to get into the habit, since that worked with outside-the-house writing)

make Liam Neeson fight a wolf (plan forthcoming)

go out to dinner / drinks by myself while I’m in the UK in March instead of careening from Doing Things directly to takeaways in my hotel room

(takeaway on a park bench or in my room being a thing I am prone to do while traveling solo, which I enjoy right until mealtime)

p.s. I’ll be in the UK the last week of March (tentatively going to Conwy for a couple of days and then London for a few more, but other than theatre plans in London Fri/Sat nights nothing’s set in stone) if anyone wants to meet up or send me recs or whatever

I'm thinking of posting my crossover story the Sinners and Their Saints on here? Should I? If I do I should warn you because it is dark. It has language, alchohol, murder, gore, abuse, sexual content, rape, war. Basically if this was a film it would be PG-13.

But it has action, supernatural, Gothics, romance, sweet moments, funny moments, and many references. Let me know if you want me to upload it on here.

It's a crossover fanfic with these cartoon series. El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and Invader Zim. This is a very dark au, extremely dark so be warned but it's also funny. Zim is in there for comic relief. Takes place in the 1920's. An extremely dark and Gothic au filled with devils, vampires, werewolves, nuns, slayers, exorcists, witches, and corrupted priests.

Well, I currently am almost done with my DJ AU, Don’t Look Down from K Project. There’s two chapters left, so I kind of want to finish that before starting something new. Also my OtaYuri fic for the Bang will be released soon!

As far as new stuff goes, I…have a list OTL. I randomly fell into BHNA hell and I want to write a Dance AU for Kacchako (I’m kind of leaning towards this cause I have all this inspiration for them rn), For YOI, I have a Viktuuri Soulmate AU I’ve been DYING to write. I have this 1920s speakeasy AU idea for Sheith from Voltron. From Bungou, a Sokoku exorcist/demon AU. (These are just a few ideas tbh I have like 5 or 6 others spanned over these fandoms LOL if people are interested I can post an ideas list??)

@its-love-u-asshole and I are planning a HQ collab project we’re really excited about! 

Annnd of course I have other K fics I need to finish/write.

So I guess, TL;DR the short answer is I’m not sure. If anyone feels really strongly about these, I am definitely open to suggestions or comments!

L.  -  Large torches brightly burn upon the walls in the same hue, though all of it rests behind a watery veil rippling in fathomless currents. (Of Trust and Trickery ch 5)

I believe I’ve inquired about this WIP before, but it sounds like it’s evolved since then. Please tell us more about The Exorcists BotW Zelda circa 1920

😄 YES!! But I love talking about this one, so thank you for the ask!!

The plot is inspired by Chrno Crusade.

Last time, I talked about Link. This time I will talk about Zelda! In a roaring 20s setting, Zelda is an orphan adopted by Father Rhoam of the Order of Hylia when she accidentally blows up half her orphanage. After Hylia's head was removed in the war with Demise she was pseudo reincarnated in a person. Except as a child, Zelda is unable to control the Hylia aspect within herself.

(1920s Father Rhoam is a good dad in this fic.)

The Order helps to train her to control the power, and they discover it eats away her lifespan the more she uses it. She has many different paths she could go down within the Order— but our girl chooses to join the tiny but mighty band of exorcists.

Zelda rises through the ranks and becomes their best agent.

Enter Link— an exorcist trained by the Order of Farore. His country village burned down from a neighbor's fire spirit summoning gone wrong. He was found and healed and trained by Farore's Order.

Inexplicably, every exorcist weapon is doubly effective in his hands.

He and Zelda are teamed up by Urbosa, who is Mother Superior of the Orders of the Goddesses, and shenanigans ensue.

It is a fast burn with shiny weapons and lots of attitude and an atmosphere holding both wimsy and grime!

Oh thank goodness, I really want to talk about this. 😂

So, in Chrno Crusade there's a rebel group of demons who overthrow the balance of power in the demon world by cutting off the head of their Mother, Pandemonium, 50 years before the story even begins.

There's a civil war. It's a whole thing.

And THAT inspired the Calamity in this— that approx 50 years before our story begins, Demise removed Hylia's head and ever since, there has been a slow but steady amplifying of demonic activity, particularly in the cities of the realm.

The need for an Order grew exponentially, and thus the Holy Order of Hylia was formed. They have their HQ in one city, but Abbeys and Orders in many places.

Link's backstory is that the small village he grew up in was consumed by the fires of a cult revenge offering, and the members of the Order who were suppose to defend his town are killed by the demonic beast of flames. Their weapons however are holy tech, and can't burn up. So Link picks up one of the light swords (special name yet to come) and something just clicks for our guy and he goes to town on it and kills it.

Since he has nowehere else to go, he joins the Order.

This was greatly inspired by animes such as Chrono Crusade, Hellsing, Kamisama Kiss, Dance with devils, and Blue Exorcist also with a little influence from Dark Shadows, Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Wolfman, Hellboy, Ghostbusters, and Gargoyles.
