The Originals (tvd) were in New Orleans in the early 20th century, right? Like 1900 to 1930 range? Any crossiver fans of Hazbin Hotel wondering what woulda happened if they knew Alastor in his time alive there?
I'm too lazy to write it in its full glory but I imagine Alastor was one of the main witch friends Kol made in his time making dark objects to be reunited with his magic and advance the communities' use of Ester's grimoirs/spells and passed on knowledge.
What if Alastor was a key turning point in the war on vampires by charming daylight rings? Cracking the code, sharing the knowledge onward (for a price, of course), and so forth. Maybe even leaving codes in his broadcasts only the supernaturally involved would catch onto. The vamps would have been more inclined to trust a man who couldn't own land either than the fickel businessmen they see keeping eyes on em. The one town barely affected by the meat shortages. The possibilities are endless!
What if that's where he was for the 7 years? Maybe his interest in Charlie and the hotel is because of Hope!
What if he's constantly under threat of being consecrated in New Orleans soil after so many years and gets ripped away, like, mid-heaven-negotiations or some-such to be reunited with the ancestral well?
I really like this AU in my head but know I will never get around to writing it.

Questiom about the wolf/vamp au! Why did X overthrow and kick out Ex? I presume there is a reason but haven't a clue of what it specifically could be!
An excellent question, and there certainly was a reason for it! And to put it very simply, Xisuma was fed up.
Tumblr media
This all happened just over 100 years ago (hence why their clothes and hair are different here), probably right at the start of the 20th century, so, late 1800s early 1900s.
Story Time below the cut! (I wrote way more than I expected to but I’m not cutting it down anymore than I already have) ~
I don’t know if these two are the ones who originally started the Court, but they were in charge together for quite a while. EX is older, not by a lot, but he is, and so he was the grandmaster, and Xisuma was second in command.
Things were very different back then. Vampires weren’t friends with the other magical creatures, they often lived up to their reputation as violent blood thirsty beasts, and little more. The Court was always supposed to be a safe space, but even within it’s walls, the vampires weren’t really friends with each other either.
EX actively encouraged it too. Vampires were supposed to be the most powerful creatures around. Being strong and knowing how to fight was important. He didn’t care if the court members were fighting, didn’t care if they were going out and killing people, didn’t care if blood was shed and people got hurt. Vampires were powerful and important, that’s all that mattered.
The Court needed to be peaceful otherwise it would fall apart. Even if the members weren’t best buddies, that many vampires in one place need to respect each other enough to not start pointless fights. But that wasn’t really happening, and EX wasn’t helping. His attitude and reluctance to change was putting the entire Court in danger.
The world was changing though, and multiple people tried to stand up to him, sick of his leadership. But no one stood a chance against him. So a lot of Court members turned to Xisuma for leadership instead, he started taking charge more, the people wanted him over his brother. Xisuma didn’t mind, but EX did not appreciate it. Not at all.
If a grandmaster is beaten in combat then the winner can take control. That’s the old rule. And that’s what happened here. Eventually the two got into a fight and Xisuma challenged him, sick of the unease and the violence and wanting to change things.
EX is strong, he’s centuries old after all. But he’s not as strong as he thinks he is. Physically, Xisuma has the upper hand, and he proved it on that fateful day.
The fight was long and bloody, both of them coming out of it battered and beaten. When it finally ended, Xisuma was the one who came out on top and he told EX to leave. He wasn’t wanted here.
He gave the rest of the vampires a choice too. They could stay, help try to make things better here. Or they could leave with EX. Some left, including Hels, but most stayed. Doc, Wels, Mumbo, and a then fledgling Keralis, among them.
Things were uneasy for a while, but gradually, they got better. The violence within the Court eased, and as time went by, the vampires grew to respect Xisuma as the grandmaster. Though whilst he does still hold that title, he’s not particularly strict about it.
In more recent decades the Court is a centre piece for the local magical people. He’s managed to form good bonds with the magical humans, and with Ren as the pack leader, relations between the Court and the werewolves have never been better. There are still fights sometimes, but nothing like what there was in the past.
EX is still in the city, usually with Hels. Still bitter about being beaten by his little brother. And he’ll cause trouble from time to time, laughing when Xisuma makes a fuss and tells him to stop.

Western Europe:
Choices by lafillesauvage [NC-17]
After the big showdown in L.A., the Powers That Be decide to make each of their three Champions (Buffy, Angel, and Spike) a deal, which they may or may not choose to accept. This story follows what happened after they made those choices, how their lives played out in the years that followed, and how Buffy and Spike eventually found their way back to each other.
Eastern Europe & Russia:
World Enough, and Time by toooldforthis [R] - some of it takes place in Prague
“You came back wrong,” he told her, all those years ago. He was right, but it took them a very long time to realise exactly what that meant. It meant a hundred more apocalypses, a thousand battles. It meant a journey, a prophecy, a war. They’d lose one other, and find their way back, and choose, again and again. And all the while, the earth was failing.
There are a lot more people than you think who are here for the long haul – like, the really long haul. This is a story about two of them.
Fic set on an Island:
The End of the World by Dorians Kitten [R] - this is an all human story
Sometimes fate steps in and gives love a second chance. Being forgotten on a deserted island gives former friends Buffy Summers and William "Spike" Pratt plenty of time to talk, but is that enough to get past four years of misunderstandings and unintentional heartbreak?
Asia:
World on Fire by Sunalso [NC-17]
China, 1900. The night Spike kills his first Slayer a ghostly Buffy is there to see it. They both learn that even time and space can't keep them apart.

Requiem by Holly [NC-17] - there is a tiny bit of this that takes place in Jerusalem; this is the best I could find
Every night, he saves her. Sequel to Perchance.

Post-Chosen, Xander chooses to go to Africa for a very specific reason...
South America:
Wild and Wonderful by solstice [PG-13]
Dawn is nine and three quarters. She is resilient, strange and sharp as a tack. She's a credit to her big sis. But she's just been kidnapped by one of the most notorious vamps of all time - Drusilla. Things look bad. Enter Spike, her very unlikely hero. Spike's relationship with Drusilla has been on the rocks since the Acathala debacle and the morsel in the crate is her double-edged gift to him: a chance to make things right, and a chance to be really bad. Kill the girl and make it hurt. But for some reason he. just. can't. Instead, he tosses the niblet into the trunk of his Desoto and hits the road, leaving his one hundred year relationship in tatters, and grinding his reputation into the dust. Buckle your seat belts nice and tight. We're in for a bumpy ride.
North America:
Hunger by Sunalso [NC-17]
AU. Spike killed his third Slayer, but Dru was already dust. He's been lost, but when his supper turns out to be more than he bargained for, it leaves him hungry for something else instead. And Buffy? She's just hungry.

🌹🌿 for Ruby 🥺🥺
Tumblr media
Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?
In the NSB verse, Ruby was sort of always a wanderer. I imagine once she graduated high school, her parents kicked her out. She went to college but was just bumming around for the dorm space. Once she met Armie, they made a home together. She definitely feels most at home with her. The place doesn’t matter so long as she’s coming home to her. And now to their family. There was no birthplace for her here. It was in CAS.
In an AU vamp verse, I imagine she was born in early 1900s Italy. And grew up mostly there before her family moved around.

VAMPIRE! AU!!
okay!! so this au kinda started as a joke with @florenceisfalling , but then. then it really wasn’t. and then it REALLY wasn’t. and now it’s real! and florence helped me develop a chunk of it which i thank them for! so now i wanna tell you guys all about it, but first, some general information!
chase- chase is bitten by marvin or anti, havent decided yet, and struggles with slowly turning into the “monster” he is as a vampire! he is always very anxious and HATES feeding on people, tries to make it as quick and painless as possible. he struggles a lot with turning, and is constantly trembling and fearing that he may hurt someone- especially stacy.
marvin and anti- FANCY twin brother vampires! they are two immortal full blooded vampires, they were never human, they came from a family of vamps! anyway!! so these two are absolutely CHAOTIC EVIL boys, they LOVE messing with mortals and causing chaos, and get themselves into mischievous situations ALL the time. chase has happened to become one of the particular mortals they want to mess with, which is GREAT bc now they get to teach him how to be a vampire and watch him cry the whole time. they both are very good at what they do, and definitely look the part with all of their shining jewelry and fancy 1900s suits. also, marvin has a cloak, bc hes Too Fancy for this place! (also, antis name will probably change to like, antoni or something i haven’t figured that out yet)!
henrik- henrik is a doctor who has had one too many experiences with vampires! he’s pretty shy and quiet in this au, doesn’t speak TONS of english but hes trying just best. he helps out jameson and jonathan in their attempts to help chase and hunt down marv and anti, while also working to find a cure for vampirism! he and chase grow very close as friends in this :3 u know me and my henrik chase besties duo!!
jameson and jonathan- jameson is a time travelling detective, and a HUGE vampire hunter from the late 1800’s to early 1910. he travelled to the modern era with his 18 year old apprentice, jonathan, who hes teaching the ropes of being a detective, hunter, and time traveller. while they are not related in this au, they do have that father- son bond which really pulls them together. jameson is also very tough and stoic in this au, SUPER super hard but he grows a soft spot for john and eases up on the world. mostly just john tho lol!
so yes!! there’s just some general information, again a huge thanks to florence for helping me a BUNCH with this! anyway, i’ll be writing some stuff for this soon, if y’all have any questions send them my way! maybe we’ll do an ask event soon so u can really get to know these boys :D

if u write anything for dracula i swear i will die in the best way possible. i LOVED that line at the end of the show just LOVED it. ugh claes bang is such a sexy mf and brought dracula to life (hehehe not really) but like made him human in a sense? made his character multi dimensional with his wit&humor and rage&regret. new fandom anybody?
THAT SHOW. KILLED ME. I’m still thinking about that closing line weeks later, I’m dying, Nonnie. I’m so glad it’s not just me. I don’t see myself writing anything for it any time soon because I feel like, as a story, it’s pretty self contained. The kind of writing I enjoy/do would require I AU the living lights out of it, and that requires a lot of set up. How do we keep Agatha alive? Does it continue on in the 1900s? How do we get around the Human/Vampire issue, then? To me the most interesting part of the Dynamic is that Agatha is human, and to turn her vamp in order to keep her w/ her love interest takes away the edge of the dynamic I enjoy. And Dracula cannot turn human, as far as I’m aware, so… how do you HEA a story set up to end as tragic? Those are the questions I think the show did really well in answering, so trying to circumvent that would take a lot of planning that I’m not in a space to take on (so much to do, so little time).
… Though I’m not opposed to smutty one-offs once I have time. I just don’t see myself taking on a long project for them for now.
If you do know any good ones though, send them my way, Nonnie. 👀

Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Malheureusement, à cause des nombreux dégâts engendrés par les guerres, le cinéma made in France se voit dépasser par celui d’Amérique...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
