The Secret of Us 💛, Midsummer ☀️, and Dec 13 ✌️

So I was gonna point this out a while ago but I kinda forgot until I was reminded just now but I think now is a great time to bring it up anyway.

I’ve previously talked abt all the connections to Midsummer/Midsommar (x)(x). I learned abt a lot of these connections from this excellent twt thread and in this thread Melissa points out sth very interesting:

Taylor emphasized the number 174 during one of her eras tour speeches meaning it must be important (see this vid). The 174th day of this yr is June 22 which is Midsummer. This makes June 21 Midsummer Eve and obviously Gracie just released her album today that Taylor is featured on. Midsummer celebrates daylight so this lines up w the lover era failed coming out happening at the end of pride month and lover originally being called daylight. Plus the secret of us is very yellow and Gracie has been highlighting this w the yellow hearts lately 💛 which means yellow = daylight/sunshine/summer (Taylor uses summer as a metaphor in the same way she uses daylight as a metaphor).

Now if you double (✌️) the number 174, you get 348. And what is the 348th day of this yr?? OH IT’S FRIDAY, DEC 13 🙃

This date was displayed in the Spotify Library Installation. And as this account points out, Taylor was not born on a Friday so this Dec 13 is likely referring to Dec 13 of this yr which aligns w my theory that sth really huge is probably going to happen around Taylor’s birthday and New Year’s Eve this yr (see this post).

I believe that the end of this yr will be when Taylor (and probably several other celebs too) will finally step into the daylight and return to the 1989 era. And to add even more evidence, the literal meaning of Midsummer is “the middle of summer.” So you can also interpret it as being midway to summer. Half of 348 is 174 which means summer/daylight will happen Dec 13 so we are halfway there.

I’m not sure if I did a good job articulating that so I also drew a diagram explaining my thought process lol.

Andrew keeps his touch light as he carefully positioned Neil so that his Junkie was resting against him without jostling any of the injuries Nathan had given him. "Anything hurt?" he asks.

Neil had been staring at him mystified the entire time and blinked out of his daze. "Uh, yes?" he says looking down.

"Yes, something hurts?" Andrew asks ready to adjust.

Neil's head shot up at the question and almost smashed into Andrew's chin, "Oh, no." he says and Andrew is willing to accept that Neil probably hadn't been listening before. "I'm...this is..." Neil's gaze remains on him this time.

"What is it?" he asks as he sees Neil's reddening ears and cheeks. Andrew reaches up and wipes away some remnants of his earlier tears.

"Can...can you pinch me?" he asks, "Really hard, like on a burn?" he continues and Andrew blinks in shock.

"No." He answers, "Why would I do that?" he asks hand coming down and grasping Neil's wrist when he felt Neil release his shirt and move his hand toward one of his burns.

"I...I know you said you're not," Neil says eyes searching Andrew's face, "but I think I have to be dreaming." his voice cracks and his eyes grow more desperate as if looking for some sign that he wasn't real. "I have to be." he repeats.

I just saw ur post about how you draw Dick with braces to indicate he is 15-19 years old, and how that was prime discowing era and????? I know NOTHING about the comics but Discowing was THAT young?????? Oh god I've been mocking it so much but rememering how I dressed at that age I gotta give him props for making a choice but oh my god that threw me into a little crisis (love your art btw, very cute)

Ohhh no I've misguided you a bit I fudge with dicks age a bit bc I personally think it makes more senses time line wise that dick would become Nightwing at 16/17 but canonically Dick became Nightwing at about 18/19 which tbh I personally still think the outfit makes sense at that age I've never known an 19 year old with much sense in them it's prime "I'm adult now" where you don't realise there's still a lot of stuff you don't realise and your about to make some of the worst choices of your whole life in the span of 12 months

Guys do u realize how huge this is. She basically confirmed when The End of the story in 11 parts will be. New Year’s Day when Taylor is 35 yrs old. She's going to have both a literal and metaphorical birthday, a rebirth. "A fresh page...a new chapter." All the references to “parties” are for both her birthday and a New Year’s party. These songs have been from the perspective of her future self this entire time. “Past me, I wanna tell you not to get lost in these petty things,” that’s Taylor talking from the future after she comes out on New Year’s. Like 90-95% of the folkmore, Midnights, and TTPD songs are Taylor singing abt future plans. Many of the vault tracks too. When we were told abt her having a “script” written THIS is what that was referring to. folklore-TTPD IS the script and she has been and is living it. We’ve been watching the movie this whole time.

“Then the actors were hitting their marks” // “Are you special or was this all scripted in his head?”

Taylor diving into the ocean and swimming to Midnights represents this journey from folklore-TTPD. She is swimming to the finish line which is the “New Year midnight.” She was in exile but after exile ends she is able to return home. “Now, pretty baby, I’m running to the house where you still wait up and that porch light gleams”
