So it’s taking a bit more time than I would have liked but still getting around to filling those art prompts you lovely people sent through a few weeks back. This one’s for @film-in-my-soul who requested: 

that scene from 101 Dalmatians where Rodger and Anita meet at the park and their dogs tangle their legs up together in their leashes with Slider and Goose as the dogs

I threw in Puppy!Carol because there’s absolutely no chance she wouldn’t be involved in this.

Ever since the incident in Regents Park, they’ve begun to court each other. And my pet, Sherlock, was the one to ask him out! (Quite clumsily, I must say.) However… I was certainly confused about what type of date they ventured on. I expected Sherlock to invite him to a cup of tea, maybe some dinner, but no. He asked him if he’d enjoy coming along to solve a murder with him. And John said yes! Apparently, John is a military man and he “misses the danger.” I knew Sherlock would like him.

Sofi, my love. So, full disclosure, I haven't written any part of an actual fic for this AU, but I do have some headcanons and ideas. I can't take all the credit because @withahappyrefrain was the one who brought it up on discord. I just sort of hijacked the idea. I'll share those HCs, though!

101 dalmations au (bob floyd)

➛ Bob’s walking his dog through a park when suddenly his otherwise relaxed Dalmatian pulls at his leash, taking off in a wild run. ➛ Spoticus Spectacles III has spotted a lady Dalmatian that he is taken with and drags poor Bob along, who thinks his precious pup has taken an interest in chasing birds out of nowhere ➛ Instead Bob collides with the most breathtaking woman he’s ever seen as their dogs’ leashes get tangled and it trips them up, sending them falling to the ground. ➛ The woman lands on top of him and Bob is speechless. She’s pretty and warm and so enticing. Once he’s able, he stutters a reply, trying to explain what happened. ➛ (It takes a moment for him to open his eyes. His glasses are askew, his hair a little ruffled, cheeks flushed. She’s pretty and mere inches away from him) ➛ She laughs and it’s the sweetest sound he’s ever heard. Spoticus Spectacles III comes and licks both their faces, breaking the tension and forcing them to get up.  ➛ Bob awkwardly offers to buy her coffee to make up for the tumble to the ground. She says it’s not necessary, accidents happen, but our darling Bobby insists. ➛ She agrees because he’s cute and awkward and their dogs clearly like each other. ➛ Her dog is named Dot/Dottie (thank you Abby @withahappyrefrain)

That's literally all I have, but I think it would be super cute and I do hope I find some time to write it eventually.

Honestly, we could keep it as dogs too. Lud would love 101 dogs. Either way super cute. They're both animal lovers so they'd be fine with 101 cats or dogs.

Okay but them doing the little meet cute getting tangled in the leashes.

101 Dalmatians meet cute but with Hob and Dream. Dream's dog is a purebred named Jessamy (very calm, very regal), and Hob's dog is a mutt named Matthew (excitable and energetic).

Hob has only just recently adopted Matthew and is new in town. Dream's family has been in the area for generations. Dream is a famous author and Hob is a history professor.

Dream is just quietly reading a book and enjoying a rare sunny day out with Jessamy when this handsome man sits beside him on the bench, cheerful and friendly and making small talk. There are literally other unoccupied benches.

Dream is wary because he has had to deal with crazy stalker fans before, so he leaves with Jessamy. Matthew (still on his leash) runs after him because he smells better quality dog treats on his person, and drags Hob along.

We get the tangled leash scene, Dream's and Hob's legs getting tied together, their bodies pushed against the other. Jessamy's leash also gets tangled up with Matthew's, so the mess is a bit more difficult to undo.

Hob is apologizing and doing his best to untangle the leashes, except Matthew is hindering (and consequently undoing) his progress by jumping around, sniffing at Dream's coat pockets, left then right then back again.

Hob is like, "Sorry, I'm really sorry, he's just very excitable and--Matthew no--I'm trying to train him--stop jumping and giving me kisses ow fuck--"

Dream starts laughing.

And Hob stares at him, the two of them still tied up against each other, because Dream's face lights up, his eyes crinkled, his cheeks becoming rosy, and he has the most ridiculous laugh Hob has ever heard but it's also so endearing, that Hob just blurts out, "You're beautiful."

DP x DC prompt: 101 feelings about your dog's best friend's owner.

You know, in the beginning scene of 101 Dalmatians where the Pongo drags his owner to the park after spotting Perdita with her owner and the owners end up getting tangled in the pond Well, it's that except Danny recently moved to Bludhaven with Cujo.

And Cujo wants to be friends with this three legged dog he saw, and he thinks their owner would be great with Danny.

Just Dick taking Haley for a walk before there is a shout and a green puppy is rushing towards Haley. Haley, being brave like her owner, sniffs and is wary of the newcomer as their owners end up crashing into one another in the nearby fountain.

Haley gets a new playmate and possibly a big brother, while Danny and Dick end up getting more familiar with one another as they offer each other to get coffee sometime or to schedule dog dates.

[In this au, I see Danny retiring from the superhero life but will come out of it for major disasters. He is a Morgue assistant or a resident handyman. This au would feature Tall and maybe tank! Danny, which we know Dick has a thing for strength and height. If, at some point, Dick and Danny live together, Danny is Dick's support network/nurse/extra help and can give thoughts on cases if he speaks to ghosts. Or extra, make this a poly with Barbara, as the brains, Danny as brawns, and Dick, while he has both, decide to stick with beauty.]

Steven and K.O as Wreck-it Ralph and Fix-it Felix: Just wanted to draw the Bad guy and Nice guy duo for them.

Cassandra and Carmen as Ballister and Ambisious: Something for my future AU of Ninoma for my next contest and yes i reall seen them as this lgbtq couple.

Kipo and Johnny as Manolo and Maria: Based of my older The Book of Life AU, they do remind me of them a lot, especially Johnny and Manolo having alot in common.

Star and Wayne as Barbie and Ken (2023 movie): Well, it a good match ever since i watched The Barbie movie on July, Star fits a lot as Barbie and Wayne is like her Ken (more stable and supporting couple of course).

Little did they know however that they'd be visiting the ghosts of the past (Literally)... 👻🕰️ Or in this case, three ghost pups from another dimension where everyone, including Dylan's grandparents are American-born, and a certain fur obsessed devil woman is trying to steal the land from the Radcliffes' (Or Dearlys)! Needless to say, Dylan, Dolly and Dawkins already have their fur standing on their end at their first encounter with supernatural beings!😱😱😱
