Someone once commented that Republicans will make all kinds of excuses, until it finally affects them personally.

That person was 100% right. They didn't care about the pandemic, they didn't care about our farmers, they didn't care about our immunocompromised, the elderly, our veterans, or even our allies.

I thought they had doubts after having their families exposed to a new and unpredictable virus (like, my grandmother survived cancer and had been struggling healthwise from decades of smoking and alcoholic dependency. She lived in Florida during 2020 and I was scared shitless that she was going to be killed. And I thought my family felt the same way, and would have thought that such a thing should never had happened and was inexcusable. Turned out I was 100% wrong).

So yeah, all I can suggest to anyone out there...to just focus on the ones who need help. If someone wants to allow more people to get hurt for taxes/gas money? Then there's nothing anyone can do or say to ever convince them. They will let everything happen until they themselves are impacted by Trump's policies.
