EFFECTIVE PRAYING

In yesterday’s blogpost I expressed my wish to remember a prayer-affirmation by Paramahansa Yogananda. I did get around repeating one such prayer. I uttered the prayer most number of times in the evening hours before dinner.

Praying seems to have worked on upping the duration of my meditation last night but it did not affect the quality of the session. I lasted through strong spinal vibrations for many minutes at the end of the 55 minutes session. I chose to last the shakes till as long as I could.

The head filled up with inner peace but inner peace didn’t heighten further into spiritual pleasure. May I remember to utter the mental prayer from yesterday again through today.

wednesday 10.9.2024. my stress is growing day by day i think, i set high standards for myself this semester based on my new meds but i didn't consider how much time/energy it would take to adjust to how my brain works now so i feel like i'm just behind and failing at everything and i want to cry constantly.

total study time- 8 hours 30 minutes

5 hours 15 minutes in class

2 hours 45 minutes on evidence

1 hour (during my health law class) on business law

30 minutes on tax law

Traditional yard right next to Pharmacy with the note about it how this woman, who owns Juuka's pharmacy, wants to spread her childhood memories with people with this yard, reminding people how farming was once a way of life, a job. These animals were so amazing and detailed! Shame there was a fence so that I couldn't go take a closer photo of them. Apparently people have done some damage to these statues before so they are locked inside the fence to be safe.

Some photos are sadly bad since sun was shining from so shitty direction so it was hard to take good photos. Most of the time I didn't see anything so I just aimed and shot :'D

Dear Gus & Magnus,

I came around the corner to find you two in the tub like this and nearly fell out with laughter. Magnus had been driving Gus nuts and Mags was singing his heart out over there, per usual. It was like Gus had reached his breaking point and he didn't care anymore. He was in his own personal hell, but he had that damned apple. All of it -- our constant chaos -- struck me in just the right way tonight. For at least that moment.
