I personally don't think that we're getting any new music before Lolla India, I think that he's always talked about coming here and has hyped it up so much that he kinda had to come atleast once, and took the chance he got. We kinda always knew that it'll be through Lolla only as him doing a dedicated show seems unlikely and it is the only international level sort of music fest we have here. Though I definitely thought that that line up was fake at first 😂😂

I'm so excited for him to be coming here, right now it seems like I might not get to see him (even though I really really want to) but march is still far away so here's me hoping for a miracle ✨✨

And I actually kinda prefer we get this same setlist, because if in case I do get to go, I'd want nothing more than to yell out we made it and back to you!!

Yeah, this makes the most sense to me, too. I hope you get your wish!!

Armaan Malik relives ‘Echo’ memories with Eric Nam after Lollapalooza India 2024; Korean-American singer recites Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogue: “Eric naam toh suna hoga”

Eric Nam captivated the audience with a stellar performance, showcasing his chart-topping hits such as ‘House On A Hill,’ ‘Wildfire,’ ‘Runaway,’ ‘You're Sexy I'm Sexy’.

After 13 years, Korean-American singer-songwriter Eric Nam graced Mumbai for his debut performance at Lollapalooza India 2024, presented by BookMyShow. The long-awaited return marked his Mumbai debut, and the audience was treated to an electrifying performance on January 28, 2024. Eric Nam effortlessly captured of the Indian audience & also had a surprise guest Armaan Malik join him on stage.

On Friday, February 2, 2024, Armaan Malik shared a series of photos and videos from their performance on ‘Echo,’ a collaboration with Eric Nam and DJ KSHMR. The magical synergy between the artists elevated the performance, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of the audience. Armaan talked about navigating multiple feelings, as he performed with Eric for the first time and that very weekend, he also lost his pet dog Handsome. He captioned the post, “Last weekend at @lollaindia, I shared the stage with my brother @ericnam for the very first time, performing our collaboration song “Echo” after almost 3 years. Despite never having met Eric before, the bond was instant! Felt like I reconnected with my long lost brother. Amidst all the joy, the weekend also brought the loss of my pet dog Handsome. Navigating both these extremes has not been easy, but I will always be grateful for the memories made that night.”

In one of the clips, Eric Nam was seen reciting Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dialogue but using his name instead, “Eric naam toh suna hoga,” which is also a cool pun on his last name. He also used the same dialogue on stage on Sunday evening.

It seems like Armaan gifted Eric a denim jacket with the same dialogue customised on it. He posted a picture of Eric doing the iconic Shah Rukh Khan pose whilst wearing the jacket.

Armaan also met Korean band The Rose's members Woosung and Dojoon, whilst they were watching One Republic's set with Eric Nam.

Eric Nam captivated the audience with a stellar performance, showcasing his chart-topping hits such as ‘House On A Hill,’ ‘Wildfire,’ ‘Runaway,’ ‘You're Sexy I'm Sexy,’ ‘Love Die Young,’ ‘Only For A Moment,’ and ‘Lost In Paradise.’

Eric Nam made his debut as a singer in 2013 with the digital single ‘Heaven's Door’. Since then, he has released various singles and albums, showcasing his versatility as an artist. His music spans different genres, including pop, R&B, and ballads. In addition, he is a well-known television host in South Korea. He has hosted and appeared on several TV shows, demonstrating his charismatic and entertaining personality.

American punk-rock heroes Green Day, pop artist Shawn Mendes, U.K. hitmakers Glass Animals and singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson are among top-billed acts making their India debut at Lollapalooza India 2025 in Mumbai, between March 8 and 9.

The lineup for the third edition of Lollapalooza India also includes rap veteran Big Boi from Outkast, U.K. band Nothing But Thieves, Norwegian pop artist Aurora, electronic artists like Zedd, John Summit and Alok, American guitarist-composer Cory Wong (known for his work with acts like Vulfpeck), breakout rapper Hanumankind (also our latest cover star), South Korean indie rock band Wave To Earth and rising pop artists Isabel LaRosa and more. Folk-indie singer-songwriter duo Lullanas – comprising Indian-origin siblings – will also make their India debut at Lollapalooza India 2025.

More Indian artists adding heft to the lineup include singer-songwriter Dot., rappers Raftaar and KR$NA, Punjabi artist Talwiinder, sitarist and fusion artist Niladri Kumar, pop artist Lisa Mishra, rock artist Raman Negi, Ahmedabad rap favorite Dhanji, producer Spryk, pianist-composer Sahil Vasudeva, DJ-producer Anushka, multi-instrumentalist-producer Sid Vashi, singer-songwriter Raghav Meattle and indie multi-instrumentalist/producer Sudan.

The announcement in September makes for meme-friendly news for Green Day, known for songs like “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” The band announced their India debut on Instagram and said, “Another first for us!! India, you’ve been calling our name… and it’s finally time to answer. We’ll see you in Mumbai next March for @LollaIndia.” The trio comprising Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool released their most recent album Saviors in 2024 and will likely dig into all-time hits like “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life),” “American Idiot,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and more. Shawn Mendes, known for hits “In My Blood,” “Treat You Better” and new single “Why Why Why,” returns to the live stage after more than two years on his current tour, which includes Lollapalooza India.

Louis Tomlinson, who has a big following in India following his time with pop group One Direction, will also make a long-awaited India debut. Fellow Brits Glass Animals are a big draw on the back of releasing their new album I Love You So F***ing Much in July, but primarily due to their 2020 hit “Heat Waves,” which was the seventh-most streamed song in India on Spotify in 2022.

Glass Animals founder Dave Bayley – who visited India as a 16-year-old – told Rolling Stone India in 2020, “Thank you for the support, I hope you are staying safe and healthy. We can’t wait to come and visit.”

In a wholly new strategy, Lollapalooza India’s 2025 lineup is out six months in advance of the multi-genre festival taking place in March. BookMyShow Live also took a similar approach while announcing the lineup for their festival Bandland, which is taking place on Nov. 23 and 24 in Bengaluru.

do u think louis will put out more music before the march festival?

I’m a little baffled by that announcement, TBH. He’s been on tour for three years. March is so far away, but not so far that it’s perfect timing to release a whole new album, do enough promo for it to get people excited, and then, do some shows before showing up in India to launch it. Also, a festival seems like an odd place to play a whole new album for the first time. I don’t know, that just seems crazy to me. But maybe?

I’d think he’d want a little more time off and time to really perfect LT3 when he’s not simultaneously on the road. But what do I know? I sound like a broken record, but all I can say is, “we’ll see.”
