started going wall climbing with my brother recently and it's so much fun! i used to do it as a kid but stopped because i was super short, dunno why i never picked it up again...

anyway i kind of imagine these two would do that too, like a fun date, especially in a human au scenario, although i drew them as trolls because i've realized i haven't drawn them much at all

dude. my life fucking rules. feathered velociraptor shleich figurine for $2 at the op shop. captain of one of my favourite ferries complimented my shirt TWICE (and we are now introduced!). new friend waved me over to sit next to her in a lecture. found a way to make my pony collection even more enjoyable. sky was so beautiful it was a crazy pale blue and there were cirrus clouds catching the sun. the ocean looked like molten green glass. I'm going swimming in the sea and having lunch with a few friends in a weeks time. I've earned 500 dollars this week just from my art which is a milestone I didn't expect to hit without joining a company. I'm not feeling as fatigued as usual. it rained in the morning which was really lovely. I thought I was going to be super late for uni but I made it right on time. I'm kind of in love with the world today

Is there a word for when you're reading or listening to something, and suddenly it starts reminding you of the last time you read/listened to it, but its tied in with a bunch of really vauge, really weird memories you'd totally forgotten about? That feel more like you're remembering a dream but there's just this strong sense of attachment to the current activity, but the events/topics of the half memories feel really disconnected to the activity?

And then you just feel a little bit unreal/unsure of reality for a moment?

Is this anything? Am I losing my mind? 😅😬

"have we not had a good time together" shes pointing yaz to the rule that yaz very well knows is there: we can travel if you dont ask me any difficult questions. yaz knows this is the rule - "because you ask too many questions", "this team structure isnt flat" - but she also was the one to invite the doctor into her home so im pretty sure she also knows shes not gonna kicked out that easily. she has some leeway. which she has been using between revolution and flux, which is why the doctor reminds her of the rules

i dont think she'd kick her out though. she wouldnt. i think it's just that the more you break the rule, the more unpleasant she becomes to be around, and eventually youre gonna walk out on your own. she doesnt want you to, she'd rather you stay and dont ask questions. but if youre gonna try to ask questions anyway, i think thats whats gonna happen

and yaz must think so too. because she does back off. because she doesnt want that to happen either. and it does anyway

been thinking of my ocs signature scents for awhile. Rose is the desert, just before a thunderstorm.

Mason has never liked the desert. Hates the inescapable sunlight, and the dust, and the way the chill of the nights is nearly as bad as the heat of the day.

But when Rose rolls over in her sleep, slots herself into the dips and divots of his side, when his senses are overwhelmed by the enormity of her presence, he can't think of anything else. Because as he breathes her in, suddenly he's staring straight up the face of a pillar of stone, and she stands at the top. Nose buried in her hair, he's reminded of watching a thunderstorm roll in; cracks of lightning and the smell of rain carried towards him on the wind. He allows himself to doze for awhile, lost in memories that are surprisingly less grating than they used to be, and too comfortable surrounded by her warmth to get up just yet.

Months later, when they're in Nevada cleaning up Unit Sierra's mess, he feels oddly at ease.
