Thank you 🥰 I use Instagiffer (which hasn't been updated since 2016; it's probably not the best choice, but it's what I know how to use, and it still works for me, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) with videos I get off of YouTube and *ahem* other websites. Instagiffer also has a screen capture feature, which is really useful for videos that aren't available elsewhere but you have, say, on DVD (I have no idea if it works on streaming sites). Then I just...play with the settings/lengths of the gifs until I like them and they're small enough to upload onto whatever site I'm putting them on.

#ask box #answered #belphegor1982 #gifmaking #instagiffer #one really annoying thing about Instagiffer though #is that every time you open it you have to set it to NOT overwrite your previous gif every time you make a new one #which I'm used to now but the first couple of times I used it I Messed Up #it is not fun making 8-10 gifs and then looking for them to find you only actually have 1 #idk why that's even a feature anyone would want it to do but they never got around to making it not the default before they stopped updatin #the other thing is that it automatically applies a sharpening filter #so you have to turn that off if you don't want it every time you upload a new video #and there are other limitations and stuff but ultimately I think it's not a bad place to start

The next two contenders pistachio brûlèe and macron rosè are up for my fragrance bracket. Pistachio brûlèe reminds me of Burberry brit which I wore during my teenage years when I wasn't wearing Paris Hilton. I can't decide how I feel about this despite enjoying the sweet yet crisp and nutty vibes. I am not one for classic florals so I was doubtful of even trying the other one, but the conflicted feelings about the first one have me going for it tomorrow.

a few years back my car insurance company offered me a discount if i stuck a dongle in my car that would tell them how i drive (specifically reporting hard accelerations and stops), with a base discount of 10% even if i drive like a madman up to 40%ish if i drive like a grandma. and of course naturally my first thought was "huh i bet i could make something running off an Arduino that filters hard brakes and accelerations out of the incoming data stream to get that 40% discount" and i got as far as looking up OBD2 protocols before realizing that that would just be insurance fraud. yes im an engineer raised by two engineers how could you tell
