This is the first design for Bennie Mayastan (es, the photo quality is not as great)

With Bennie's design, while she has mainly wood-elf traits, a good number of dominate traits are the draconic traits.

For example: the horns and various scaling are one of the big dominate traits that will be there all the time (unless there's of course two matching recessive traits or a genetic mutation)

The frills along the jaw and tail/spine are also dominate; however, the length and number would often decrease with 1/2 'breeds' (i.e Bennie being a 1/2 dragonborn + 1/2 wood elf)

In the top corner is a little glimpse at what her house would look like (when she's fully on her own), it's located in a small town next to The Valley of Dragon Tears. The valley is called that because of the winding river of seemingly sparkling (fertile) water and the numerous amounts of crystals and gems that were said to the hardened tears of an ancient dragon now long gone. There are also a number of large and small scale-like fossils that are scattered around the valley. The valley also has a special 'star dust' that is harvested every once in a while, is used for medical and celebratory purposes; the powder is said to be the magic remains of the dead dragon.

The valley is one of the places that commonly have dragon-born or 1/2 dragon-born because they are attracted the ancient magic/land of the valley.

It definitely got her attention-- it's an impressive feat, for one thing-- but to what extent she allows herself to be convinced remains to be seen. You walk into Sharess Caress as an elf and Mamzell's like 'oooh I've never slept with an elf before' and it's like... I don't think you've been trying very hard then. I mean ok, roughly 7% or whatever of the total regional population isn't very many people (and most of 'em are inaccessible due to being in Evereska which is still pretending not to exist so the N'Quess leave them alone iirc) but they're still the largest non-human minority in the city and just like every other demihuman they're guaranteed to be overrepresented in BG3 because people can't get enough of long-lived pointy ears or something.

And then she tries to set my elf up with a dwarf, and 10/10 for that. I love my dwarf/elf set ups.

What is something that your OC would find incredibly hard to lie about? Even if they really wanted to do so...

For Saragan and Brickback?

For Saragan it would be their parents. Saragan does not talk about Iphan or Holris much, but when they do they're very frank about who their parents were. Iphan was a Bhaalspawn and as much as she worked to protect Saragan, Saragan was still aware that Iphan committed atrocities so that he would not kill them. Holris was a hero and Saragan looked up to him but they don't want to mythologize him because Holris was their father first and foremost. Saragan would want their fathers to be understood as people and not myths.

Brickback would have a hard time lying about their early life in general. They're proud of where they came from and refuse to minimize the impact it had on them. Brickback remembers that period of their life fondly as them when they were "better" and as such would be as truthful about it as possible. On a lighter note Brickback would also find it hard to lie about their medical history. Their first ever doctor was someone who could and did poison people which left them with the lasting impression that all medics did that at will.

so a fun fact about the acotar books is that the author refuses to use the word "man/men" because they're fae, not human (and thus not "men"), which leads to some truly ridiculous uses of the word "male" instead. which is fine. but it has fucked up my thought process when i think about dnd races.
