Love Is…
4 Love is patient and is kind; love does not envy. Love does not brag, is not proud, 5 does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not irritable, does not keep a record of wrongs; 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are tongues, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with. — 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 | New Heart English Bible (NHEB) The New Heart English Bible is in the public domain. A Love Conqueror
Jesus Is "A Love Conqueror" He loved well and He finished well. We, as a family member can learn a lot from Him. So, take some time to glean from this family prayer exhortation, pray it up for your family. Live-Laugh-Love Well. Be A Love Conqueror!
Do not remember the past events; pay no attention to things of old. Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Isaiah 43:18-19 Open Your Heart To New Things Family means relationship mixing, as our families open up their borders to envelop new people coming in from other families. I call this the mish-mash of family dynamics. Some families have an easier…

Lyriel had always jumped to defend the man she loved, the man she was so slavishly devoted to, and he supposed he could not blame her for it. Broken to the lash, presented like a gilded slave for the First Man, only to be treated ever so kinder by her new master. Every correction deflected, every criticism guarded against, every wrongdoing covered and tucked away, even when at times he treated her so poorly. Such was the bond of two beings so disenfranchised with the status quo, but it did not make it easier not to simply draw his blade and-
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
“I have little but my conviction.”
The words are let out in a long, slow breath that warms her palms, one flesh and the other metal. None of that matters. All that does is his love, as imperious and unpleasant as it is for Adam.
And of course, his love for her. For her he was patient and kind, for what kind of father would he be if he was not?
In her presence he does not boast and he is not proud, for how can he be a pillar for her if he is just as haughty as the rest?
For her he is slow to anger, and forgets her wrongdoing, for how could he show her a better way through scorn?
He does not delight in the evil done to her, Christ, how could he ever?
He will always protect. Always trust. Always hope. Always persevere. He could do nothing but.
Her lips meet the crown of his head, and it is though for a moment the world is younger, when he told her heroic tales as she sat on his knee, when she looked up at him with wonder in her eyes and an unyielding faith in her heart. How long ago that all seemed now.
Her words in many ways echo those he had spoken to her many times. A desire to protect him, to insulate him from the consequences of her and Adam’s actions, an acknowledgement that if anything were to befall him then she wouldn’t be able to go on.
Then why can she not understand why he will do what he must?
He lifts his head from her hands, primed to speak, but the last words that leave her seem to strike him dumb. It is foolish, he knows she loves him, he always has, it showed in action and in care. But she has not spoken the words to him in over nine hundred years. It digs into him with a force he did not anticipate, and one hand leaves hers, careful as it comes to warmly cup her cheek, pearly droplets gathering in the corners of his eyes as he presses his lips to her forehead.
“I love you, Lyriel. You are what is most precious to me, in all of creation. Nothing, and no other, could begin to fathom.”
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
”This evil has been on my doorstep since before you were born, my darling. I was only too foolish, too trusting to hear it knocking. For the Kingdom, for Creation, for you, my little light…my brothers and I will do what we should have done, before any of this came to pass. Defending what I love, putting right what is wrong, it is my purpose.”
"So...the whole soul-contract thing hellions like to dabble in—is there any way to nullify those?"

Harmony
“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.” Psalm 40:3 I am sure many of us have witnessed two distinct ways of singing a song and playing an instrument; and one appears to be more of a gift or an acquired gift than the other. There is the soloist and musician who studies the notes and practices methodically until the…

Trusting the Lord in Times of Suffering: An Expository Study of Alma 14
In our journey of faith, suffering can often feel insurmountable. It's in these moments that we must remember Christ's example and His ultimate sacrifice.
Alma the Younger and Amulek are led away from the fire that has consumed the believers in Ammonihah. Suffering is an inevitable part of the human experience, especially for believers striving to walk the path of righteousness. In Alma 14, we find a profound example of enduring faith amidst unimaginable trials. Alma and Amulek faced severe persecution and witnessed the martyrdom of the faithful,…

Revelation 21: God's Glorious City
For this city was made entirely of the purest gold and shimmered with every hue of gem and pearl. In fact, each of its portals was carved from one voluminous pearl a piece. The sentries were angels. Every part of the city was foursquare, infinitely stable

Eternal Assurance: Trusting in Christ Alone
Back in the early 90’s I faced a crisis as I held to a works-based salvation and constantly lived in fear of my eternal destiny. I had no assurance of my salvation because I never knew if I’d performed enough good works to validate my salvation. It was a terrible place to be. The solution came when I began to study the Scriptures carefully, stopped looking at myself, and fixed my “eyes on Jesus,…

Matthew 10:7
As you go, preach, saying: ‘The Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.
Note the time the Devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world (Luke 4:5) "in an instant of time" saying that the world has been given over to him and he could give it to whomever he chose, and the Devil chose Christ. The Devil said to Christ, "I will give you all this authority and their glory" (Luke 4:5-8).
Who is the ruler of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), is it not the Devil (Revelation 12:9)? And what are the inhabitants of the earth saying? Are they not saying that Jesus is God, giving Jesus all his authority and their glory? The Devil wanted Jesus to do an act of worship before him by means of the Devil's image of the heavens (Isaiah 14: 12-14) and earth by giving breath of life to it by means of the fruit of his lips (Hebrews 13:15). But note how Jesus replied when being tempted by the Tempter (Matthew 4:1), "Then Jesus said to him: 'Go away, Satan! For it is written: 'It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service' (Matthew 4:10)." Because it was God at the beginning who created the heavens and earth and said let there be light through His Spirit (Genesis 1: 1-3).
Read one Bible verse or read them all! 📖📚
1 John 2:16
because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world
Isaiah 29:13
Jehovah says: “This people approach me with their mouth And they honor me with their lips, But their heart is far removed from me; And their fear of me is based on commands of men that they have been taught.
1 Thessalonians 3:5
is why, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to learn of your faithfulness, in case somehow the Tempter might have tempted you, and our labor might have turned out to be in vain.
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light.
Revelation 12:12
On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.”
2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent seduced Eve by its cunning, your minds might be corrupted away from the sincerity and the chastity that are due the Christ.
Revelation 13:13
And it performs great signs, even making fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind.
Luke 10:18
At that he said to them: “I see Satan already fallen like lightning from heaven.
