I think abt my f/o hands a lot but, ig I'll do iwai bc I'm gen having like a moment of guy rotation which one will I think abt next who knows.
His hands are big and have hair (eugh/j) like he has knuckle hair and that weird hand to arm hair, he does wear gloves even when handling the merchandise just to not get any finger prints on them, so his hands r soft like they are surprisingly well taken care off bc he washes them off or uses germex to get that smoke off his fingers when he does smoke, his finger nails don't curve they are flat and hardly ever grow. So he doesn't have grime under his nails, his fingers do get kinda sticky? I see him as a recovering smoker so. He chews a lot of lolipops and gum and forgets to wipe the gum dust or that lolipop stick spit. Ough his arms we never see but those fanarts of him all tatted up like

A year.
This week, it will be a year since the war started in Gaza. A year since my dear friend Mohammed Iwais @mohdiwais lost 10 family members to bombing, along with his home, his company, and his happy life. A year full of grief and anguish, hunger and pain, violence and fear.
Over this year, Mohammed has been working extremely hard to care for his remaining family, which consists of 27 people. This includes individuals who are very young, elderly, or disabled. One of his sisters is still recovering after being shot in the leg by a quadcopter bullet.
Now, as winter draws near, Mohammed faces yet another obstacle to keep his beloved family safe. Due to the destruction of their home, the Iwais family lost most of their clothing, and now they lack warm clothing to deal with the cold. This poses a serious danger to their health, as many of them are vulnerable to the cold due to age, illness, malnutrition, or chronic stress and trauma.
On top of all this, Mohammed's family has been suffering from a serious skin disease, and are unable get proper treatment because of the lack of hospitals and medical supplies in Gaza.
Mohammed urgently needs funds to buy winter clothes for his family, along with other basic needs like food, medicine, and shelter. Costs to purchase all of this for 27 people are very high, and donations have only been slowing down recently.
Right now, Mohammed needs your help to be able to provide for his family. This fund is what the Iwais family is living off of right now, and they can't afford donations to stop. They need your help to be able to live. Donate and share as much as you can. They deserve a better life.
When you donate, please pay attention to the conversion rate.

Help the Iwais Family Survive!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My dear friend Mohammed Iwais @mohdiwais and his family have been suffering through a year of war. They have lost their home, their clothes and belongings, their relatives and loved ones. On top of all this, they have had to give up their dignity, pride, and self esteem, simply to survive each day.
In Gaza, there is an institution called the Tekkeya, which cooks and distributes a large amount of food to people who have been displaced. However, when they give out the food, they record those who they are giving it to, in order to send proof to their donors.
Imagine that whenever you wanted to have a meal, you had to wait on someone else for it entirely, and in exchange, they would film you at your lowest, at your most hungry and tired and worn. Imagine having your lowest points recorded and put on the internet permanently, just so you don't starve.
The Iwais family has not only lost so many material and sentimental things in their lives. They have been forced to lose their privacy, their dignity, their pride in themselves, just to keep living one more day. There is nothing that they can hold on to, nothing that is safe.
Mohammed also wanted me to tell you a story about his niece. She is still a child, and she likes clothing and fashion.
When the war began, the Iwais family had to quickly flee their home. They were unable to bring any warm clothing and the weather was very cold. One of Mohammed's friends had a daughter the same age as Mohammed's niece, and was kind enough to lend Mohammed an extra jacket for her.
Mohammed's niece refused to wear it. She did not want to wear a jacket that had already been used and worn. She wanted something new, that was only hers. However, after seeing the situation around her grow worse and worse each day, she gave in to the cold, and wore the jacket. She and the rest of her family have lost the things they enjoy and take pride in, and now lack every aspect of the happy lives they once had.
No one deserves to lose everything to a war, and then have to give up whatever privacy and dignity they have left, just so they can eat and not freeze. This genocidal war is deeply unjust, and the Iwais family needs your support so that they may survive long enough that they may once again have better lives.
Once again, the weather is getting colder, and the Iwais family does not have the warm clothing needed to withstand it. They need your help to purchase winter clothing for 27 people, many of whom are young or disabled. The need your help to survive this winter. Please, don't let my friend's family die.
Donate and share! Save the Iwais Family!!!

Hello ! I've been really into Gegege no Kitarou recently, and looking at his mom made me wonder : back when kimonos were worn on a daily basis, how did pregnant people style them ? Did they wear other types of clothes that don't compress the stomach as much instead ? If you happen to have any info on this, it would be very cool :)
Hi! It's hard to imagine as many kitsuke pictures now promote perfect tubular silhouettes with not a fold out of place, but in the past kimono were worn far more loosely than they are today!
Kimono was then worn everyday (=no time for perfect polished photoshoot looks ;), many kistuke accessories we now use didn't even exist (=they were not needed!).
During Edo period to late Meiji, feminine silhouettes were far more flowy/willowy than what we have today:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kimono tended to be longer (hikizuri for ex.) and adjusted far less tighlty on the upper body (=people were working!). Depending on the period obi were narrower, or worn differently (criss crossed for ex.) or laxer than what we do today.
Pregnant women had no trouble adjusting their clothes to their changing bodies :)
The kimono was worn looser and looser as belly and boobs grew. If possible, kimono could have been unstitched and retailored (if fabric allowed it) to the bigger size needed.
Obi and ties were set above (and/or under the belly depending on time), like so:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And pregnancy belts were widely used.
One belt was a type of sarashi (soft cotton roll, which was also used for chest) named hara-obi 腹帯, which provided support:
youtube
Another special belt was the Iwata-obi 岩田帯, used during Obi-iwai 帯祝い, a ceremony taking place on the day of the dog during the fifth month of pregnancy. This was meant to ensure safe birth, as dogs were thought to give birth easily - hence why inu hariko are good luck charm for expecting women:
Tumblr media
The obiiwai was also a way to announce a pregnancy to the community (as miscarriages, abortions, and infanticides were sadly quite common then).
Iwata obi are still a thing, here are modern ones:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, as a side note, what pregnant women could do if they felt smothered by their kimono? Well, just open the damn thing to wear it much like a robe!
Japan had not the same shaming view of female breasts than the West then. It was quite common to see some working class people in underwear/loosely dressed, or have both sex share spaces in the nude (baths for ex.).
Tbh, unless she was living a sheltered life (no work, servants, etc.), I don't see why a pregnant woman would have bothered with a properly adjusted kimono, when she could have just be much freer and comfortable xD
Hope this helps!

persona 5 headcanons i have because this game makes me insane (affectionate)
Ren and Akechi are both insomniacs
Ren develops a HUGE phobia of needles post interrogation. he pretty much has to stop helping Takemi with her research because of it. doctors visits are a nightmare and he can’t even explain why
Ryuji’s knee would occasionally give out in Palaces. he would try and tough it out until they got to a safe room. once Futaba joined the team, she figured out pretty damn quick what was going on and ushered them to a safe room whenever it happened. Ryuji never put the dots together.
Ren and Ryuji have asked Yusuke to make fake IDs for them.
follow up: Sojiro would be a “i’d rather you drink in the house” type of dad, but he isn’t with Ren purely because it would be a violation of his probation (not like PT shenanigans weren’t but you get the picture)
After Shiho’s attempt, Ann started checking in on everyone’s mental health a lot more often. no one really noticed except for Ryuji (since he’s known her the longest) but he didn’t mention it.
Ryuji and Akechi had a long conversation about Featherman ONCE (mostly cause Akechi was insanely sleep-deprived at the time). it was the closest the two ever got to bonding and they never mentioned it again
Iwai was weirdly relieved when he figured out Ren was a Phantom Thief because before that, he could not for the LIFE of him figure out why a 16 year old boy wanted THIS MANY model guns. did it make much more sense? no. but at least it was a better reason than other criminal activity (as if Iwai didn’t accidentally pull Ren into yakuza business but shhhh)
for a while, Futaba and Ren were effectively fighting for custody over Mona. They eventually settled on a schedule Mona did not follow, much to both parties dismay
Makoto bakes and is really good at it. she’s the designated baker for everyone’s birthday
Haru will frequently mention something she’s done that seems benign to her, only to be met with stares of disbelief from everyone else (she forgets she’s rich)
follow up: Haru will also say the most batshit thing in the sweetest voice that throws EVERYONE off.
double follow up: she’s the only Phantom Thief Akechi is even close to genuinely afraid of (scary Haru my beloved 🫶)
when Futaba got access to Akechi’s phone, she would occasionally just fuck with small settings for funsies. it caused Akechi so much distress at such a bad time
Futaba also has a backup of Ren and Akechi’s text messages to use as blackmail later.
