Waccha Primagi! Love/Smile Element Theory

So the latest opening for Waccha Primagi reveals Matusri’s elemental coord.

Now, on the official twitter, they just posted the new makeup for this coord, and it was called the Love Element. So I’m going to assume that the element Matusri awakens is the Love Element. But I noticed that this dress looks really similar to Mirai’s(Kiratto Prichan) style of dress.

So I really hope think that the Love Element “spirit” might be Mirai. Since the trend has been past Pretty Series stars appearing as characters that support the girls or are famous idols. Aside from Yui who just ran a rice field(she was still an amazing idol) and Laala who was Kuma. But I think that set up was a reference to Yui sleeping in the rice cooker in Idolland.

However, this also means that the coord that they had been slowly revealing for the past few months, was not the coord for the 6th element. Despite the fact that it the coord parts were called the “Smile Element”. SO, what is this coord?

I have two theories about this coord. The first being that this will be the actual element’s coord. My reasoning, Mirai is probably the Love Elemental. And this is the coord she will wear when she appears. Just like Yui, Laala, and Mia’s coords they wore when they made cameo’s, this coord is also a Prism Stone Coord. Naru wore Dear Crown because she was it’s manager in King of Prism and Kiratto Prichan. Aira was in a team, so she wore Anju’s brand. But this coord also has a smiliar style to the flower shop coord(from season 1) and the diamond friend coord.

And “smile”, from the name of the coord, was always important to Mirai’s character. Mirai has the “kira smile” bit that she always uses to make people smile(she did this for a crying baby and a sad Emo). Also, the main song for Kiratto Prichan season 2, was called Diamond Smile. Which was the season she beat everyone in the Jewel Selection. So the coord being called smile element, makes sense if Mirai was the one who will ear it. It would be called “Smile Element” if

As for the other theory, I think the Smile Element coord could be the coord that will be the one that the girls will compete for. Mainly because of this end scene from the opening

The stage matches the coord. And it looks like Matsuri and Jennifer are competing(propbably to get back the coord and Waccha she took).

It may be my favorite PriChan episode of all time

even though it made me so hungry I actually got up and set up some rice in the rice cooker (this feels famliliar)

Okay actually they did try and explain all the fine print details of the Rice Area in this episode but I don’t really care, in this case the less sense it makes the better.

So I am PRETTY PISSED OFF that Laala’s appearance in this episode was all over Tumblr before I could see it because that would have been SO AMAZING to see blind

Because for the longest time I’ve actually been wondering if they would ever integrate Laala into PriChan and how. I felt as though they skipped over Laala and went straight to Yui because her voice actress already voices a major character in PriChan (Maria) and it seems kinda unfair. 

But making her into a mascot instead I dunno it just kinda works and also it’s just plain hilarious.

Having Kuma be her animal form was a little strange at first until we saw her middle form (excuse me I guess they call it “pretty form”) at the end when it was revealed to be a chibi version of 6th grader Laala. With her buns looking kinda like bear ears it... IT WORKS..... AHAHA it’s just so dumb I love it.

S3 of prichan. Theres mascots. Sometimes kiracchu is in her original little egg mouse thing form, and sometimes shes a girl. They put Yui in this season, too, for some reason, so she needed a mascot, so instead of punicorn, it was kuma, but this kuma had himika akaneyas voice and said shit like 'kashikuma'..... So when it evolved. It became laala.

Id say that it makes more sense in context but it really doesnt. It just... Was a thing that happened.

While I couldn't find images for this one, Pripara season 3 planned on introducing a character known as Shichimi. The Kami Dress Coord was also initially called the Jewel Wedding Coord

Finally a truly chaotic fact, Ajimi wasn't always going to be voiced by Reina Ueda. Reina Ueda somehow acquired a copy of the script and sent in an unauthorized audition tape. She ended up getting the role anyway

Hearing Laala’s voice in a episode preview for the first time in 3 years, and having the “Capisce” at the end but it’s not “Capisce(Kasikoma)” it’s “Capikuma(Kasikuma)” is sending me all sorts of conflicting signals

As far as I'm concerned, Kuma and Usagi ARE the fan preferred couple along with like, Hibifuwa. This is just based on my inner circle of friends and I refuse to know what’s going on in the fandom outside of it. That’s scary. 

I remember when an anon told Flowers that the fan preferred couple of Pripara was Laala/Shougo and I was like wtf what the hell who’s shipping that. People care about Shougo??? Messed up. I bet those fans don’t even care about the mascots. Could you imagine that. Could you imagine watching Pripara and caring about Shougo but not about the stupid stuffed animals.

(I originally planned to translate the PriPara games after finishing the Pretty Rhythm ones, but I think I’ll try to juggle them instead! The PriPara 3DS games have a main story along with character side stories, I will do them in unlock order. Like with my other current translation, choices will be in bold, and the Player character’s name is just Player.)

??? (Meganee): Welcome to Prism Stone! Play PriPara, where anyone can enjoy an idol debut and wear a lot of trendy coords!

Girl: Yaaaay! I made my debut as an idol! And I got a tomoticket! Woaaah, what a cute coord! Let’s snap tomotickets! Mine will be in high demand soon, because I’m definitely gonna be No. 1 in the Idol☆Grand Prix!

??? (Meganee): Everyone’s a friend! Everyone’s an idol! Will you also try going to the world of PriPara? 

Choice: Of course I will! / There’s no way I could be an idol…

??? (Meganee): Nice response! Please enjoy your idol life! You’ve a really nice smile, an idol’s talent is their shining smile! What kind of idol will you end up becoming…? TOP 10 Favorite PriPara Idols!

Okay, so I used https://priparasorter.tumblr.com/sorter to sort these idols out and here is my Top Favorite PriPara idols based on what I got, which is pretty accurate. xD

#10: Hanazono Shuka

I’m always waiting for a kanedere idol to appear in the series and here she is, Hanazono Shuka. Shuka being materialistic and always base her activities because of money is what I like about her. I can relate to her a lot as I’m kinda into money myself. She gives that aura of a businesswoman, which I find it pretty interesting, and her song is awesome. Her voice is what I say, am not a fan of but nevertheless, when she sings in her song, she sounds quite good. Also, at first, I felt upset because she resembles one of my OCs but I turned out to like her in the end.

#9: Dorothy West

My favorite member of Dressing Pafé is the tomboyish, competitive and rough Dorothy West. She is funny and quite entertaining. The fact that she is, well from my perspective, the main source of the funny lines in the show and her proclaiming herself to be “sexy” is what I like about her. Makes me consider her as a comedian or something. There was never a scene when she tries to act funny that I never laughed. Plus, I love girls like her.

#8: Falala Alarm

Falala Alarm, somewhow I never knew she would become one of my favorite characters. It all started when I roleplayed as her in Twitter and then I came to like her as well. She is adorable and I consider her as a “Shipping Queen” because of the escort-thing in the anime and arcade game. Falala also has such a cute voice and her song, Sunshine Bell, is amazing. Her performance is amazing as well.

#7: Minami Mirei

Minami Mirei was my original favorite among the PriPara cast because of how smart she is, and I like smart people. However, she went down after a flood of new characters that I start to like above her came. Like I said, she is a genius, being able to analyze (and become rivals with Sion) stuff. Pretty much, I view her as an example when it comes to rule following because of her job as the Head Disciplinarian. I’m pretty glad that in both her PriPara and original form, she is well-respected among her peers and her strictness never changes in both forms. Plus, I ship her with many characters: Sion, Kuma and Amamiya to name.

#6: Hanazono Mia

She is Ageha Mia, my favorite Pretty Rhythm character of all time. Mia is self-centered and “ichiban”, which is what I like about her. In other words, I’m more into characters that care about themselves than others because it’s interesting and funny as they find ways to treat themselves good and expect people to do the same to her. I’m glad she was brought back to Idol Time PriPara. I find her cute in her PriPara design though.

#5: Mitaka Asahi

And nope, him escorting Michiru is better than him escorting Nino because opposites attract, guys. Asahi is (a red head so I can add him to my tomato collection with MLB Nathaniel and Mikan) awesome! When with was first introduced and saw him, I was like, “Yeah, I will love this man”, which ended up to be true. I’m gonna admit it now that I ship him with Michiru and that 1% of the fandom who does.

#4: Manaka Laala

I usually never like the main character of the show, but Laala is different. She is actually pretty cute and a good protagonist who doesn’t hog the spotlight to a certain extent. She is nice and friendly and she has done a lot to save PriPara and friends, so why not appreciate this girl for that. She deserves the Divine Idol title because she has worked hard for it. Also, her being a mother to Jewlulu is so adorable.

#3: Kouda Michiru

Surprisingly, Iike Falala, I never thought I would like Michiru. When she was first annouced, I never liked her design and as you can tell, am not a big fan of Cool-type idols. When the first trailer for Idol Time came out, I saw her outside appearance, she is so cute!! As I watched the series, she was by far the most relatable Idol Time character for me. She thinks of herself as plain, simple and quite clumsy, like me. Also, though it was not given significance, she might be a genius like Mirei. When she enters PriPara, she becomes her ideal self, which she was able to express herself freely, like I do in the internet as Usagi. As I said, I ship her with Asahi.

#2: Tsukikawa Chili

A yamato nadeshiko has arrived in PriPara and it’s Tsukikawa Chili. She grew up in a wealthy Japanese-traditional family, which I find it interesting as I like traditional Japanese myself. She was the one who started that unintentional 180° transformation in PriPara (as Mirei’s was intentional, I guess.) and I like it. When I heard she is going to have an Asian-theme brand, I was excited, well, only for the brand than the character. Yes, Chili was my dream character and almost bunked Mikan to second, so…

#1: Shiratama Mikan

I never really liked Mikan at first because despite being an angel, she joins Aroma’s mischief and shouldn’t an angel somewhat stop her or something? She became second after I heard she was a harapeko. Everything changed after Episode 76, when there is more shown to her. She will go for the extreme just to retrieve that scarf, as how I remember it, for Anko (correct me if I’m wrong). Mikan was like a blessing to me when she finally became my first. I came to like her more after she split the Red Sea, which was a Bible reference and I hope she makes more of those because I’m Christian.
